Converse all star
I bought a pair of converse sneakers late feb bought them on the thursday and later went to return them on the tuesday the following week because I saw that the sole was cream white instead of white, mind you I have 3 other pairs of converse sneakers so I knew something was wrong. When I asked for them to exchange they refused cz the sole was dirty.. Yes I had worn them but only for a minute or two as I left the house and realised that the sole was actually cream white as I stepped into the road. I am bot very happy, now I have a pair of converse sneakers that look fake as hell and I can't wear them in public nor can I return them. Please take this very seriously as I will share my experience with everyone about the poor service I recieved at sportscene pinetown

Nike shoes
I bought my Nike shoes
In December 2022 on my sportscene account and after washing it 2 times my shoes broke...I don't normally complain but the shoes only lasted 3 months...can you please be so kind to replace the shoes even if I have to pay a %.
I never had a problem with your shoes and I'm always buying shoes from sportscene so it might be a factory fault..
Desired outcome: Want you to fix or replace it I am willing to pay in a cost as well.

Closing time.
I am sad that the store was closed around 18:47 because I was there to only collect my item only to find out that Sportscene at The Glen shopping centre was closed. And the worst part I went to the store the day prior and I was advised that the store closes at 19:00 even online it says that.So I’m very disappointed and not only I wasted my time I also wasted my energy 👎

Today, 26 November 2022. An employee of SportScene Kolonnade refused to let me in at 17:48.
When I asked what is the store’s closing time. They told me they close at 18:00; but they’re currently having load shedding so they are cash up-ing.
Load shedding only happens at 18:00.
I am not happy at all. I just needed a pair of jeans for an event I was attending the following day.

I bought I t -shirt just now at sportscene mini nonesi mall it was 129 but at the till its 149 at the till the lady that was helping did not explain she just told me if a want to change I must join the que and it is long que I decided to go because it seemed like I did have a choice cause I am in a hurry ...I believe it was not my mistake not her's but she should have it least explained to me why the is a price change then I decided my self after explaination

This is concerning Sportscene, Gateway.
I have called multiple times to get an answer and no one picks up.
The one time I got an answer which lasted about a minute, the lady said she was going to call me back without taking any of my details and put the phone down.
I am absolutely disappointed with how I've been trying to get hold of 1 store in a day. I phone for a consecutive hour trying to call back and no pickup.
When I tried to speak to the lady about what I'm looking for she sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. It's either the staff doesn't know their stock or plain incompetence.
I called around 1:30pm.
Either the lines to call needs to be checked or the staff needs to start answering the phones because this is pathetic. Very much disappointed

I'm not happy about the service I've received from one of your employees IN Phoenix plaza mall I was named Ikwerere When i was Tryng To ask more information from the employee . I was told that I don't have a write to ask because I'm a foreigner simply because I can't speak fluent isizulu language n I'm a South African from limpopo.. I was not happy of being called out names..

I walked into a sportscene at cornubia today 26/09/22 @ approximately 11am I went through to the cashier and asked to open an account she was busy when approached so I had a look around the store in the interim.
I then went back to her and we were about to proceed when another customer came through to pay his account she had asked me if she could quickly take the payment and I agreed as he left another customer came through for payment and she proceeded to take that payment aswell which I wasn't happy about.
I did inform 1 of the floor staff that I would go to gateway to open my account as they don't see account applications as important.
Sportscene staff at cornubia mall have no interpersonal skills and don't seem to value all customers the say way.
Poor customer service
I went to Atteridgeville Sportcene in Attlyn mall on the 23rd of September 2022 to go buy a white T- shirt as I was looking for one. My colleague recommended I go there to check if they have. Upon my arrival at the store as I was looking a very nice lady greeted me and spoke to me in a good manner wanting to ask if I had a sportcene card. After our conversation I then found the t - shirt that I liked and then I proceeded to the cashier point. The guy who assisted me didn't even greet me. He just looked at me and left the till point and then came back with another guy who I think was voiding a transaction and during this they were busy talking about their own personal things and it was like I wasn't even there. He then said to me what's your ID number give it to me if u know it.
I mean what kind of a service is that? U acknowledge a customer when u work with them. And this is not my first encounter at this store where I get no good customer service. So after today I decided I will no longer go to that store and would also tell people not to go there rather go to another spotscene store.
Desired outcome: I would like to see that staff change their attitudes towards their customers. And for the staff to get more training about customer service.
All star platform
I was at sportscene on July and saw the price of the all star platform shoe at R1 100. I decide to take the shoe and go pay for it at the till. When the shoe was scanned the price changed from R1 100 to R1 300 and the workers there insisted that I pay the high price instead of the price that I saw on the shelf and in the shoe box and as a result I decide to lay-bye the shoe with R600 and now my balance is R700. Am I not justfied to go back and I ask them to sell the shoe to me with the original price that I saw from the shelf and the shoe box cause what they're actually doing is false advertising. It is my right as a customer to pay for the price that I saw on the shelf.

Loud and annoying music
On Thursday 2022-09-08 I visited the Riversquare Branch, Vereeniging.I visit this at least 2 times weakly to look at specials or to collect orders I purchased online. One very irritating and upsetting problem with this store is its excessively
loud music. Today a Mr. Teboho assisted me with my purchase and the music was so loud that I could barely hear him talking. I complained to him personally about the loud music, but he didn't put the volume lower. I told him that it sounds like a shebeen or a tavern inside and will chase customers away. On a few occasions I have entered this business and then would turn around in the door and walk away. Should this go on, I will make a video and open a criminal case under the health and environmental act and also post it on social networks.
I don't have a problem with background music, but at reasonable volume. This is not the first TFG store where I have experienced loud music. This seems to be a problem in Sedibeng Shops, as I haven't experienced it at other shops closer to Johannesburg.

Nike waffle
On the 28th of August o bought a pair of sneakers at Jabulani mall.i wanted cream colour of Nike waffle but I couldn't find the size as I was looking for size 8.Then the sales guy told he couldn't find the size anywhere around Gauteng. I did find the size and colour I'm looking for at East Rand mall but unfortunately they want me to add another money, what a poor service.im still stucked with the item in my house.

Charged for being contacted me unnecessarily
I requested sportscene in the past to stop phoning and smsing me as they know that i pay my account on the 20th of each month and yes they did stop,however recently I bought using the account again and all of a sudden I am being unnecessarily smsed and called for no reason and It's being added on my account bill. This is unfair and wrong, why am I being charged for such and unnecessarily? So meaning I must close the account?
Desired outcome: They must remove the extra contact (sms and call) charges on my account bill
Was doing an exchange
11/08/2022 05:47 I went to sportscene parkcentral to an exchange for my daughter using my husband account card and identity book but the lady who was helping me was very rude and blocked the card telling me I can’t do an exchange using someone’s account card but that’s the reason he gave me his identity book if I stole the card I was not gonna have his identity book or even try to do an exchange with a stolen account card cz I even asked her to call him but she refused. She doesn’t have customer service even by the way she spoke to me.

Poor quality!
I purchased a sir Jordan one from sportscene Canal walk on the 31st July at around 6pm, I fit on a size 5 that was on the shelf then asked the sales guy to bring me a different size 5 that was not fitted on, I didnt think to check the shoes and proceed to point of sale and paid. When I got home i checked out the shoes and what poor quality you guys are selling to people and the price we as customers pay for something that we like, the shies stitching is poor there's noticeable glue around the shoe the shoe is already creasing in the front almost as of the wrong about of leather was used to have the shoe made, I am extremely disappointed of the quality you guys are selling.

Poor customer service
To whom it may concern
I am writing today to complain about the poor customer service from one of your sportscene branch in Knysna western cape on the 26 of July 2022.
I made a layby and due to unforeseen circumstances my wallet was stolen that happened to have a copy of the layby slip. On arrival at the shop I was assisted by a very young, arrogant ,rude and very unpleasant individual to deal with by the name of Ashwin if not mistaken
After explaining to Ashwin that my wallet was stolen and I would like to take out my layby. I don't have a copy of my slip. He kept on rubbing it on my face that he won't be able to assist me without a slip , which I do understand its a protocol but however the records of transactions are not only on a piece of paper .They are available on their computer to assist us.
Not to drag this complaint, I feel that this guy Ashwin should get off his high horse and realize that he is there to assist customers to the best of his ability and what pisses me off is that I ended up leaving my drivers licence in the branch as he requested it and still he could not assist me to release my sneakers.
I trust that this is not the way that Knysna sport scene ,should conduct business with valued customers I have been a loyal customer before Ashwin worked there ,Its a pity that Vuyo was not there the true asset to that branch very humble ,polite ,pay attention to detail and very professional
Ashwin you should learn one or two skills from Vuyo.
Looking forward for your response on when I can get my layby since I don't have a slip

Bad service received
Bad service I received from Dumisani at Mall at Embalenhle store, this guy is very rude and doesn't know anything about customer service. On the 20th of May 2022 I went to the store to pay my account He asked whether I was swiping or paying cash and I said I am swiping then he mistakenly typed I was paying cash and he said I should go and withdraw cash from the ATM and I said I can't because I was on Lunch and my lunch was over. He took my ID Card, and said he will come at my workplace to fetch the money and he never showed up ever since. I came to the store to look for him several times and they said he is off. On the 23rd of July when I went to the store to fetch my Id he gave me an attitude and called me a stupid and took long to fetch my Id and only to find out that my Id was in his wallet all this time. Does sportscene allow their staff to take customer personal details with them? Does the store allow it's staff to take customer's Id's when a staff made a mistake from the screen?

Bad service at sport scene Chris hani mall ..at 26/02/23 long que one cashier.but the cashier friends are not joining the que they just call her name and she smiles and tell them to come in front .I complained about that and when it was my turn to pay she give me bad service and I even asked her a question she just being rude just because I'm not her friend...but all I know as a cashier you have to tried all your customers as you friend...that girl was rude and bad attitude jeeeeerrrr
Today I bought a pair of sneakers and the left foots sneaker was absolutely dirty like it's been worn.
The sneaker was dirty like it's been worn so I don't know if the sneaker was on display or if it was handled badly.

Hi im complaing about your cellphone service which is manufactured by you guys tfg I bought a hiboost cellphone on my account in september 2020 I had for 2 months I had problem with it, it was not coming on. I had taken it in to sportscene liberty mall, their feed back was I must pay for a phone to be returned which was under warranty and guarantee and my phone is not been fixed and they stated they cannot fix so up to to now I am still paying for the phone which I dont have.
Desired outcome: I would like my phone to be replaced since it was warranty and guarantee
