Please take these issues seriously as they have been the comments of many customers in your Northport Long Island store,
1.Your prices are raised every few MONTHS on almost everything in the store.This started as soon as covid-19 hit in 2020.It is outrageous now, disgraceful.
I only shop in this store if I am near it.
2. Your self-service computers consistantly don't funtion, not the belts nor the computers themselves.
I no longer use them. I will use a cashier.
3.Employees do not tell the customers your stop and shop card is useless, unless you are computer literate.So, you deceive the public by thinking their stop and shop items are being discounted because your card is being used.

deli cheeses
purchased mozzarella today. None with the exception of Belgioso were priced.
It is infuriating! I need to know the cost to determine if I can afford the product.
I spoke to an associate who didn't work in the deli area and he told me to go to the deli. The deli folks [3] didn't know where to locate a scanner to price the mozz. Come on - training of staff is lacking.
I know this store #710 is an orphan as it is really yucky. The floor has needed replacement for years. The staff are not happy - ever and the ice cream freezer has needed replacement for years. When one goes to other stores this one pales in comparison.
There are products I rely on and I need to know the costs. Please have upper management visit, unannounced. Email back assuring me you are either closing the store or upgrading and cleaning.
Train the staff to do their job correctly. Price each and every piece of merchandise so others, like me know the cost of an item and can stay within budget.

on line applications for employment
I have been making many attempts to submit an application for my sister in law for a cashiers job at the Squire Rd Stop & Shop in Revere Ma. 02151.
My complaint is after filling out all her information on line and submitting it,
the manager says he cannot find the application .I went back on line to redo
the application but cannot find a direct e-mail for the application. The web site I want to get into gets involved with many company's.
I just want a direct web site for stop & shop.No other company's .
The manager will not accept an application printed from the site or give her a fax number to send it if could print it off line if I could find it again.
Desired outcome: I just want a direct web site for your applicatition process.
Gas Station issue and attendant
On 9/15/21 around 8am I went to get gas at the Wallingford CT Stop & Shop. I set the pump & got in the car to wait, a minute or so later a woman yelled that gas was coming out of the pump I got out & saw that gas was flowing everywhere down my car & on the ground, the pump never stopped. The employee wasn't helpful or concerned at all. Also, the pump overcharged me. I had to quickly get a carwash to wash it off. I went and called the store to talk to the manager but ended up being on hold for over 10mns and she never picked up.
Desired outcome: Refund of 15.00 for overcharge of gas and carwash
Overnight Bully Management
Dave is a straight up bully. So grumpy and rude towards everyone. Constantly picks on workers and has a nasty attitude. Yet he's still working. No idea how he's still a manager with his gorilla type personality. Just sad how someone like that is allowed to be work with people. Sad part is nobody seems to care.

return policy
We have been a long term faithful customer and have never had any problems on the rare occasion that something we purchased was not edible/sour/bad. The last time I brought back sour meat and the service response was excellent. They immediately notified the meat department and handled the refund. They also told me that I did not need to bring the meat back, it was rancid and they didn't want it in the store. Fast forward several years, on September 3rd I purchased two cut up watermelon containers. On September 4th one was not edible/sour. I saved the lid as I was instructed and threw out the melon. On September 7th after my guests left, my daughter took the lid with the S&S Label/cost/weight/date to request our refund of a little under $11. She was told without the actual water melon or the receipt they could not process the return. Totally contrary to what we were told previously. Asking for a manager she requested the purchase be looked up based on our card. She was told they had no proof we didn't eat the watermelon. Why would we go through that on a just under $500 grocery order? This is absolutely unacceptable. By the way, the bag of raison bagels I purchased was very stale. I didn't even bother to return those, I put them in the freezer and will attempt to use them for bread pudding. I am not an unreasonable person, a bit of common sense and consistency is all I ask. Desired outcome: A full refund for my sour watermelon purchase. An apology for being treated in such a way. Customers should not be called liars, ever.

My local Montville CT Stop & Shop has terrible customer service. They rarely smile.
The Starbucks in the morning most times will only have 1 person and it gets very busy in the morning. There should always be two people working in the morning.
I'm handicapped and can't stand for long time. I went to shopping Monday, September 6, 2021 approximately 1:3 pm and i usually always get a scanner an I use the self checkout because I find it quicker for me and Ann the employee was rude and didn't care that I had to keep my bags in my cart after I scanned my items. The self checkout would not let me continue unless I put the item in the bag on the scale.
Desired outcome: Keep handicap register s open for those with physical disabilities and always have 2 people working at the Starbucks.

I was in the East Haven, CT store the other evening and staff was not masked.
That may be allowable and I know CT has a high vaccination rate, but other stores, such as Whole Foods, have staff wearing masks (and doing other things like cleaning the register area between customers)
Also, only about half the S&S customers wore masks.
That's enough to keep me out of Stop and Shop for the foreseeable future.

Hello, Customer Service!
Over the past couple of years I have purchased whole wheat croissant regularity at my local Stop & Shop at 112 Amity Rd, New Haven CT. Why? Because they are amazingly delicious and so unique that I told many friends and family members about them.
SADLY, they have not been on the shelf for the past few of months! I ask about them every week and the bakery's response is always that they are on order but are not included in their delivery.
Can you tell me when this item will be available again? I can assure you that they are exactly the unique and high quality product that drives Stop & Shop's market dominance in this area!

Watchung, NJ store on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, when severe weather hit the area. The National Weather Service issued flash flood warnings. It was a torrential downpour. Instead of offering safety to customers IN THE STORE manager on duty told them to leave. Customer had to wait in her car in the lot until safe to leave. This is Unacceptable!
Desired outcome: Manager needs some sort of disaster training. Not to mention human empathy!
About the employees
The deli rude employeesstinking up from the chicken the stop and shop in Riverhead NY 11901... I am allergic to chicken and the stink from it makes my stomach very upset... I complained the rude employee didn't care... The other times the chicken stink went into the fan up through the roof outside... I can't shop in the store my stomach got upset had to go outside to get air...

She is not a manager but likes to talk down to people and when I called and nicely asked to speak to manager she yelled out that I was nasty and would not speak to her. Employee Rich, of the self checkout area for the Monroe NY store is a grumpy old fart! He is rude, impatient and talks down to customers. I am an avid customer of this store for the past 20 years and have never experienced an employee so rude as him. So much so I was taken back by his brash approach to a simple check out mistake in which he seemed irritated to fix. That. Is. His. Job. To help customers through the self checkout lanes. If he cannot do so with integrity, a smile and a friendly disposition then he should be removed from that role.

This store is going downhill fast. I have been shopping here for over 40 years. When it was Waldbaums, King Kullen and now S&S. It is filthy and for the 3rd or 4th time I have purchased a grocery item that was passed its expiration date, and by a full year or more. The management up there is lazy. The shelves are never full, the produce is the worst and dairy is sour within 2 days of bring home. You need to send someone up there and do a surprise visit. I try not to shop there but sometimes I don't have the time to go 3 towns over. It is getting progressively worse as time goes on.
Desired outcome: Send an inspector and get new management
It is a shame that the shelves are never full. People need to stop buying what you want so it is available to you. You should call them and tell them what you want. They should put it aside just for you. Roll out the red carpet when you arrive and give you all the items that they refused to sell to other people because you want them.

Supervisors and management
I don't understand how someone can be in a position of authority and have no respect for others. This supervisor in particular, Sam Crusier, is straight up rude to employees and customers alike. i don't care if you have a bad day you do not take that to work and you do not act like you're better than everyone else because you're a supervisor. i walked out today because she refused to give me a break for my 7 hour shift. Also today she rolled her eyes to customers and pushed into a fellow coworker after saying hello and she is NEVER there to help us, always hiding in the cash office ordering sonic milkshakes
