I purchased a warranty when I activated my phone. I was told it covered accidents. I have never damaged a phone before but better safe than sorry. Well i dropped my phone by accident and the screen broke. I called and was told that my phone only had the basic warranty. I asked why would I purchase a warranty when the phone already has a one year warranty. I purchased the additional warranty for just such events. I want my phone replaced. I feel that being told that it would cover accidents when I activated my plan and now I find out that is not the case is DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY PRACTICES. NECAUSE YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY CHEATING AND MISLEADING CUSTOMERS! ALL I AM ASKING IS THAT YOU REPLACE MY PHONE. I HAVE BEEN WITH STRAIGHT TALK FOR ALMOST A DECADE! YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE EMPLOYEE JERRY THAT I SPOKE TO WAS VERY RUDE AND ACTED LIKE I DELIBERATELY DROPPED MY PHONE. HE ADVISED ME THAT CALLING ANYONE ABOVE HIM WOULD ONLY GIVE ME THE SAME ANSWER. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED . HE WAS CONDENSENDING AND DEMEANING. I RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT YOU PLEASE REPLACE MY $80 PHONE. IF I DO NOT GET A RESPONSE OR REPLACEMENT THEN I WILL BE FORCED TO TURN TO SOCIAL MEDIA AND PISSIBLT LOOK INTO A LAWSUIT FOR THE DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY ACTIONS OF YOUR COMANY.
Not honoring advertised promotion
On 4/29/18 I needed to refill my 30 day unlimited service with Straight talk via the App on my phone.
It was advertised that by enrolling in Auto-pay with my credit card there would be a $0 cost for the 30 day plan.
I enrolled, and submitted my information.
The following day my credit card was charged $49.38 for the 30 day service plan.
I spoke with 3 separate "supervisors" from the help line [protected].
I was told by all 3 that they could not find the promotion or advertisement and there was nothing they could do. I attempted in each conversation to obtain an email address I could send my photos ( attached ) as proof, but was told it was not possible.
I then went to my local Walmart and was told to call the help line.
Attached are 4 photos. The advertisement, my selection of the deal, confirmation of my enrollment in auto-pay, and the charge to my credit card.

My complaint is simple I had straight talk for way to long and qualified for my phone to be used with another company, but I wasn't aware of that I switched to boost mobile and even paid straight talk to keep my phone number but was never told that my phone was unlocked and I could have used it with any service that I wanted and after I found out that my phone wa compatible with boost mobile I thought oh I won swap phones and use my iPhone with boost that's when I found out my do calledgrace period had expired so I had to use straight talk for another there is no way Iam going to switch back to straight talk for another year for more crappy service at ridiculous prices, I simply want my phone unlocked so I can use it after all the hassle you ha e put me through I at the very least deserve that much !

So bad this is the worst of them all Please Please do not use this Straight Talk ever. Take it from me these people can not speak English at all and it seems this is all this company want to use I called them all the men and women all APHASIA totally they have no ability to even be trying to speak English words at all. On 3/318 cell number was [protected] I called wanting information I had been using this little cell phone system for a while when I first called it was a man that I spoke to I asked my question and he said lets transfer you over to a Rep this no mannered oriental speaking women answered the phone "she said what are you calling me for I told her that I wanted some information because I was thinking of changing over to senior citizen cheaper plan for my self I still have 997 min left on the minutes for this number and man she got really hostile she started talking and became loud and hard to me I was at the hospital with a sick friend he and the nurse both could here her the TV was on he cut the TV done to make sure he was hearing what was being said to me from the oriental REP for this cell phone she got really mad at and then she told me" well I going to show you something since you want to switch over to another cell user carrier The witch just cut my cell phone system off on the 3/3/18 day for me just calling and asking a question all I wanted was free information my cell was still good up the 3/23/18 with 997 minutes left in time. And there I was for a week without a use a cell phone to call out. Then I used my friend phone on 3/4/18 to recall them again this time it was a none English bad English man he was just a bad he flat out lied told me I had my phone cut off on 3/2/18 and that I wished or asked for it to be cut off... I informed he that he was not telling the truth it was a lie I never stated that he then went on and on lying to me I had him or speaker phone just like I had her on speaker on the 3/3/18 day I had 2 witness to here them both.
He just kept insisting that I requested this action I informed him why would I do that I would not like to be without means of any type or usage of communication at since I was staying with a sick friend. He then told me that I would need a new SIM card to reactivate my cell again and he has ordered me on this date 3/4/18 it would take a week to get to my home address and I ask what was I to do without my cell phone he told me to go and use my neighbors phone I explained to him I have no close neighbors at all that I live alone in the country woods. He laugh that was funny.. So had to wait it the new SIM came on 3/9/18 Friday I tried to call and have my cell reactivated again with Straight Talk no so luck at all it would not work the new SIM card did not work it came from Cooper General 8501 NW 17th St. Doral Fl. 33126 was the address the new SIM failed so again weeks went by 2nd week I am still without service of a cell phone I filed a complaint with the BBB and with Walmart head office with the Straight Talk head office in Fla also to my surprise they answered me back and so did the BBB the later nothing really happen the lady at Straight Talk says that she got me a deal she connected with straight talk and got me a 30 day deal and 1500 min she told a lie to BBB and they believed her she lied she had the wrong SIM card numbers listed in her communication email to me and she had changed my cell phone numbers to another cell number this was not what I had requested in the settlement offer at she just took it upon herself to do this with the wrong information listed the phone still did not work I informed BBB about this action and they did nothing at all stating I did not except the option given or made to when the lady at Straight Talk stated she would close the case down on 4/13/18 and on 4/26/18 I got a text stating they to was closing the case as Answered boy what help are they when you complaint against a bad a very bad company from people that can't speak English very well can speak out against you when we are keeping them in business by purchasing there old minutes card and buying there old cell phones we are keeping them alive here in America and so is Walmart by letting them sale the use-less products here in America to us. This really bothers me a lot When someone gets angry with me because I wanted to switch over to a better deal for me the deal was to help myself out to be able to live with my income on a cheaper deal that for a senior citizen living here in America, a retired civil worker and viet nam veteran that served in the Women Army Corp. For America Freedom rights and to have some just out right be little me for no reason. I believe it is my free right to change or switch if I want to better man myself. Don't You?
got a email today that the BBB went alone with them to close and drop the complaint against Straight Talk Corp believe someday this company will get it's big payback and be removed washed away and take those that can't speak English with them..

Phone smartpay lease
I ordered a phone through Straight Talk using their Smart Pay. I've had the phone since November 2017, and was purchasing my own service plans at store. I've been paying $100.73 for the phone since November. But all of sudden for the past 3 months, their Smartpay has started taking money from my account for a service plan that I already have, but not adding the plan to my phone... which will make me have to go to the store every month to buy service because my phone gets turned off. I've called for the past 2 months and telling them that I'm not receiving my service but they saying it was added to a number that is not mine. They keep giving me the run around saying the problem will be fixed. But it still hasn't. Just ripping me off $59 every month for a service that I never get. So I'm paying double for service from Straight Talk, every month.
Cell phone
On 4/19 I purchased minutes on straightalk online app. I noticed a separate yet duplicate charge. I was told I'd receive my refund in 3-5 days. Fast forward to today 4/23. Check my bank acct. No refund. Call again.Now they don't know anything about it. I was on the phone for 4 hours today, 4 hours on the19th. Now they've lied a different lie per foreign rep. I've spoken to. Straight talk/ trac fone are crooks. Pull them in line or put them out of business.

Your policy concerning replacing a defective phone with a re- conditioned phone. After l the customer paid good money for a new phone and within 4 months that phone quits working and what does ST say, tough, we'll only replace it with a phone that who knows where it's been. They say that a phone is one of the most germ ridden objects we use every day. If I had wanted a used phone, I would have bought one in the first place for a third the price and in the process l lose that replacement extended warranty that was paid for, so if your phone quits working within the first year you get someone else's broken, now fixed phone, if during 2nd year phone breaks extended warranty buys you new phone. Does this seem fair?
"unlimited" $55 plan with "no data cap"
So they claim that you have no data cap and for the past 2 months my phone has been cut off to no data at all because they "flagged" my account for using too much data which is supposed to be completely unlimited. False advertising. The customer service representative which was hard to understand by the way was being rude because I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. This is complete bs.

Straight talk interrupted my service for using to many gigs on an unlimited plan. You shouldn't sell unlimited plans if they're not unlimited. They charge 55 for unlimited and they hide behind terms and conditions that say 60 gigs that's what they should tell customers

Data plan
I bought a 55 dollar service plan and I've had this plan for several months now and never had any problem with my data usage. On Monday April 9 about 10:21am my internet service was deactivated by straight talk wireless. I called customer service and asked questions of why my service was cut off and the reply was I went over data usage. I explained that unlimited data meant unlimited my bill is due every month on the 17th and now I have no use to my internet I think this is not right after I've paid my bill on time every month and then to get my service disconnected without notice and to be told I've any over data when it's unlimited data.
Web order
I placed a web order 3 days ago. I've never received a confirmation e-mail, and my c/c has not been charged either (which might be the positive). I cannot look up my order with either my e-mail address or the recipient's e-mail address as it was meant to be a gift. I cannot get through to a CSR in any timely fashion on the phone, and they have not responded to my e-mail to them regarding this order.
Service/customer service
I've been on the phone with the straight talk customer service jokes multiple times they tell me they didn't switch my phone to their service correctly. After no call back that day I spent another 30 minutes on the phone with the so called manager I explained what I was told and he then tells me he is gonna"update" my service. Still 2 days later ain't a damn thing changed so now I'm out almost 3 weeks of [censor] service and still can't play my game on the internet, sometimes can't send or receive texts or calls.55 dollars later after I bought a byop kit that I didn't need I still have [censor] service.
Unlimited data has a number, it's not unlimited
Turns out they have a set limit of 68 gb and then consider shutting data off. I paid for unlimited data and it's not unlimited. Paid for another months data after only 2 weeks service. I thought unlimited had no end. What world do they live in where 68gb is the end of unlimited data. Am I the only one who sees this as wrong? Is there a class action suit that I can get in on. This just happened March of 2018.
I would love to get in on a lawsuit as well. This is a load of crap.
Customer service
Transferred my number to a LG g5, called activated phone. No 4G. Called back was told to be patient and not assisted. Got standard call several hrs later that transfer was completed. Still no 4G. Called back today was on hold for a long time to be told its the at&t towers. I explained that no 4G was available no matter where the phone was and the exact same phone I was using to talk to them, a friend's, was LG g5 also and had pegged 4G in the areas that supposedly weren't in 4G coverage area. The "tech" just kept parroting the same thing back at me without any comprehension of my statements. Asked for info to file a complaint and was told he didn't have that information. Which is untrue, all customer service has referral numbers for complaints. I know this for a fact. It was my job for 10 yrs. So basically I don't have the service I paid for and was not helped, just shuffled around. I have been with straight talk for many yrs and I'm used to the sub par customer service but this was just ridiculous.
$55 service plan
I bought a straight talk phone card for $55 unlimited talk text and data. When I got to 130g used they shut me off. I no I used alot but it does not say anywhere on that card if you go to this limit we will cut you. You show me on the card were it says that. It does not which is in my book means false advertising it should be unlimited(definition for unlimited- not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity, or extent.) I spent my money because that's what the card says.
Same here every month they would turn my phones internet off once we got close to 100gb once we called in and complained they turned it back on then the following month same thing happens besides that time we used less we had 9days left uses 130gb they turned it on then not even 24hrs latter shut it off and when we called they said their was no way they could turn it back on that they didn't do that.we asked why they did the day before if they couldn't they had nothing to say then.we told them we were recording the phone call and wanted to know why on tv and on their cards it's says unlimited data for 55$ month when it's not unlimited.the women kept saying it is unlimited which then why did you shut my internet off when straight talk my app says we get almost 2000gb month we used 130gb that's not even half of 2000 I could see if we went over or used half then them cutting ppl down to 2g speed but they don't they straight take ur internet away and tell u to wait till ur next refill or if you want to buy a new card now..i was like really u just pretty much stole my money cuz I bought unlimited card for 56$ and that's not what I got and now you want me buy new card in order to get my internet back really that's how their getting ppl..someone needs to sue them again cause this is crazy their making a killing off ppl..ive recorded their phone calls as proof of what their doing..dnt sale a card if that's not what ur really going to give ppl come on now..it even says stream Netflix may be at DVD quality soon as u watch movies for more then 4hrs they shut u off completely...errrrrrr money down the drain again with these ppl...
Replacement phone
I have sent in a phone that was to be replaced by consumers warranty. The phone that was sent back is much cheaper and not close to the same Specs as the one I purchased. I bought a ZTE Max Duo. I am receiving a LG. Smaller, no duo camera and screen is much smaller. Not happy with replacement.I would like a phone equal to what I bought or at least a Walmart Card to replace my phone myself.

Repeatedly I have called and changed address 2 times because sim card I purchased on phone with straight Talk was bad after 2 days of service only was told I needed new one mailed to me and straight Talk left my Apartment number off and sim was not able to be delivered even though I called back and correct this.
Last I changed to another address to have this delivered and now I'm told I will not be receiving this sim until 2/20/18.
This means most of month I will be out of service !?
Mind you I use this cell number for work and am losing work due to delay, every time I ask for someone as a complaint Supervisor my call is dropped and this repeatedly happens and never getting a call back at number a relative allows me to use to receive a call back to address this complaint which is [protected] ..
And all I get from Representatives is we will give you the service which I have already paid for which is nothing more than giving me what I already paid for!? Yes you should of course otherwise that would be fraud! Now I have been keeping record of this, I have filed a complaint with with Consumer Complaint and the BBC and waiting, my contact number which I have repeatedly left is [protected] to reach me and this is concerning my straight Talk Wireless number [protected].

I bought a phone December 2016 we recently got orders to move overseas by the military. I called the rep and she stated that I could not unlock my phone because straight talk requires for you to maintain service for a year which her from is shy 37 days. So if I do not pay them for another 2 months I cannot use the phone. No where in the store does it state that you have to pay for service for a year on a prepaid phone. When you by a phone you assume that you can take it anywhere you want to if you move or you not happy with the service. Be careful of straight talk I will make sure that I will inform as many people I can on the military blog of how they do business.
30 days refill card
I recently purchased a 30 day refill card on December 22, 2017. They text me on December 26, 2017 and text is service end date is in seven days. I called customer service which they was very rude and ask to speak with the manager who claimed he was checking to see what was going on which he put me on hold for 40 minutes and then hung up. I call back just for them to say I never purchased the card but if I never purchased the card why is my phone back on then. So I asked to speak with a manager which I was told there was no need for me to speak with one because I reported my phone stolen which was a lie because I didn't. Then they told me I had to call back direct which she left out the part about I needed a reference numbers. I am tired this makes the third time I have been ripped off with the service card.
Lack of service, refusal to refund for phone
I had been with StraightTalk for several years, but for the last year my service had declined to the point I could not make or receive a phone call unless I went outside my house. People with different services could use their phones, but mine would not make connection.
Starting in August 2017 I tried working with ST to fix the problem. First we changed out the SIM card, no better. Then they had me send in my older phone and they sent me a replacement. I still had no service, so I was obliged to find another provider.
Since then I have chatted, texted, messaged, phoned and written to corporate. All I get is a runaround. I've been lied to, hung up on and ignored. The rep on the phone never has any knowledge of the case, rarely speaks clear English, and does nothing except push me off to another phone number or link where they have a prepared list of phrases to say "sorry for the inconvenience, there's nothing I can do for you."
I have made multiple requests for callbacks so I could speak with someone familiar with my case, and I have had days and days of my time wasted waiting for those calls only to be hung up on, rescheduled, and put right back in the same loop.
I finally got a callback, and I was fed a bunch of prepared buzzwords like "technology exchange?" and "networking problem" and "we are unable to processes anything at this time"
Why can they do nothing? Because my phone is past the 30 day warranty period.
I've been trying to work something out with them for 4 months, but they "cannot process anything at this time" because my phone is past the 30 day Warranty Period.
I was offered two suggestions:
1. Sell the phone to a StraightTalk customer
2. Buy my own phone elsewhere and activate a new account with them that might work.
First of all, I wouldn't sell my phone to an unsuspecting StraightTalk customer. Not even an enemy.
Second...how stupid would I have to be to engage in business with them again? I've seen the lack of customer support. It's not like they are the only wireless company in the world.
I tried everything to resolve this issue, only to have my time, money and energy consumed by StraightTalk. All I want is to return their phone and get a refund. Why should I be stuck with a worthless phone because they could no longer provide the service they promised?

Every month I buy new refill card I never get my data high last monday I boughy ultimate unlimited plan been 7 days without high speed data.. Every time I called they trouble shoot and tell me to turn phone off and sum have even hung phone in my face they had me changing apn setting hard resets on the phone I need help asap...
