We have been eating at this Subway for years and are usually very happy with it. But today there was a woman behind the counter I have never seen before. She was older than the usual staff and struck me as possibly a supervisor or manager. She seemed to be instructing the staff on how to ring things up. She was dressed in her own clothes. As I sat there eating I watched her dig her ungloved hand into the black olives, shove them into her mouth, lick her fingers and then shove it back into the olives. Just want to let you know that right now we don't carry any coupons for buy 25 dollar gift card and get sandwich for $1 because you need to buy sub right away and if you don't want sub right away then we just wrote on your receipt for next visit . Whenever you were at restaurant you said you bought $25 gift card yesterday night but I checked and there was no transaction for any gift cards yesterday because of that I ask you if you have receipt but you said you don't and you left. I know that we have let you down, and for that, my team at Subway® is sorry.

She not only inferred I was lying about the purchase in question but doubled down on the lie that they write on the receipt of every 25 dollar gift card that they sell or add to.
I offered her a snippet of my visa transactions from the 2nd of October that did indeed pay to that subway 31 dollars and so the idea that I did spend 25 dollars on my subway card and a melt and 2 refills of drink is only a lie and deflection.
Is this how subways treat their loyal customers?
The gist of the matter is that instead of just giving me the subway coupon .. which they do not have probably because this store is too cheap to purchase them, is to write a name on the coupon .. how slip shod is that .. why not just give the customer an IOU like wimpey from popeye the sailor man.
