I stayed at the super8 in canandaigua New York. Management was rude are treated the people with me like outcast. We complained about the people and the noises that was being made. Management only seemed to care about the noise of one of the people with me got loud. He threatened us with the police because of the noise. Everyone with me felt uncomfortable like we were being profiled.

Arrival 4/17/2018 one night
Room stayed in. 319
Chattanooga, TN
20 Birmingham road
This place is disgusting. From the halls, walls, vents, rooms. Omg! It needs serious attention
Holes in doors carpets filthy, gaps in wall to outside by air conditioner. Bugs stuck to dust on walls, dirty, food, soda spills or something on walls, lamp shades stained, when you looked at counters they where never cleaned, no toilet paper, just all around gross. This place really truely needs to be inspected. Refund nice. Hope I didn't carry bed bugs home. If it wasn't so late at night I would have surely moved on. I do have some pictures.
bedbugs and dirty rooms
On 4/19/18 we checked into the Super 8 airport hotel on W. Kellogg in Wichita, KS. I had made my reservation several weeks before coming, through airbnb, had to prepay our room, which I have never had to do before when staying at an establishment. When I checked in the staff had left a sign that said they were at the airport and would be back in 5 to 10 minutes. There was an older couple waiting ahead of me, they tried to check in and their reservation was not on record. The assistant made a new reservation for them, and signed them in. My turn came, again, they didn't have my prepaid reservation, I should have taken that as a cue. The assistant registered me, found my prepaid status, and gave us room 126. The room was small, but we didn't mind. We found that when using the toilet, it rumbled very loudly for several minutes after flushing, there was tape around the door frames and things from painting. not a big deal. We went about our visiting, came back to the room and settled in to sleep. When we woke up in the morning, we found we had company, bedbugs! I told the manager, Ash Bhakta, he was pleasant, but surprisingly knew exactly which room I was in, without ever seeing me before. I politely waited for his current customers to leave before approaching him, he said this happens when you are so close to the airport. He moved us to a new room, and offered to wash our clothes so we wouldn't carry the bugs with us, he guaranteed that washing them would kill the bugs, 99.9% guarantee. We needed to bag up our clothes and move immediately. We did, using two garbage bags, one for darks and one for colors and whites, there were four of us in the room, he got our things at 8:30 am. We went about our business, and returned at 3 pm. Asked about our clothes, was told they were still in the washer, so we waited 2 1/2 hours longer, again we were told by an assistant that our clothes were STILL in the washer, she put them in the dryer for us. At 6:30 we went to retrieve out clothing, I then found out they had put everything in one load, meaning darks were mixed with colors and whites. I and the manager removed most of them from the dryer, some were still not dry. I had to wheel them to our new room, and we folded them. We found that the toilet in this new room, 129 ran continuously when flushed, we had to take the back off of the stool and pull on the chain inside to make it fill. We then left for our supper celebration, returned at 9:30, and the rest of our clothing was not in our room. I got to go to the dryer and get our last clothing and bring it to our room. No help. I was getting very uncomfortable with our stay. I had a very restless nights sleep, feeling crawly. We didn't find any more bugs, thank goodness, but found blood stains on the mattress pad in several places. I had lost my rescue inhaler so was looking for it, I looked under the bed and screamed, it looked like dog poop under our bed! Upon closer inspection it turned out to be Chocolate Teddy Grahams, we didn't bring anything like that with us. They weren't ours. They should have been noticed when vacuuming the room, as it wasn't way under the bed, but just at the edge. We ended up leaving a day ahead of time, it was just so disgusting, I also needed to go home and try to clean our things so we wouldn't bring bedbugs into our house. Even though we were guaranteed 99.9% that we wouldn't, with the other issues, I couldn't trust the manager. The manager never offered us any sort of refund, not even for the night we didn't stay. I have never in my life had a stay like this. This establishment needs to be inspected very regularly, in all of it's rooms. I will be reporting this to the State of Kansas and the Better Business Bureau. This is a very poor way to treat your guests. I would greatly appreciate a refund, this is beyond disgusting.
supposed new policy that was created within a week
Today (4/21/18) I purchased a room at super 8 as she is getting my room key ready Nick Patel comes and says I have to have a credit card on file or pay 150 deposit. Im complaining not long because i was just there on the 10th and neither items were required also a friend arrived before me and already purchased her room and neither was required. I understand the policy but it shoulf be in place and used at all times so people dont feel discriminated. His tone and body language was rude as he told her to refund me owner or not
rooms and rate
I went to Charlottesville Va. For my daughters military promotion. Yhe Suoer 8 on Greanbrier Rd. was the only reservation we could find. Evetything was fine when I checked in accept for the outlandish $80 plus tax price. When I got upstairs the first thing that my husband and I noticed was the huge picture head board of Monticello and its cottonfield. Because we are African American, it was a little unsettling. Looking around, there was no table...just a large empty spot. Cigarette holes in the blanket, no spread, large burn spot in the carpet and only 2 small pillows. The bed was a full size and not a Queen size as I requested. When we went to lie down we both rolled to a sinking middle! It was aweful! I have stayed in Super Motels before but never seen anything like this! Never again.
hotel cleanliness
We stayed at the Super 8 on 4/16/2018. The room was a single king that I shared with my granddaughter. We did not arrive until almost midnight, but knew they were open as I had made, then canceled an earlier reservation through Priceline before the winter storm hit.
After traveling for 8 hours, the room smelled of human body fluids. It really stank, we had lysol spray we had to use. We didn't bother to ask for another room as the clerk was espousing that this was a good room; we didn't bother to try to eat any breakfast as we were afraid of being food poisoned. I had never seen a single serve paper cup coffee POT in a hotel room along with one bottle of hand lotion. These people clearly had no respect for their patrons and show up early in the morning to hasten your exit by asking if you need room service. When you respond that you are trying to shower, they leave the carts in front of your door. My guess is they only replaced the towels and probably washed the tubs, sinks, and toilettes with the same sponges. It was disgusting. The smell alone gave them away. These were people seeking to get ahead by any means necessary.
inside door handle broke, tv did not work, dirty and stained blankets,
On April 18, 2018, I made a reservation at Super 8 in Florence KY. The first room that we were put in was a handy cap room and the door to the ajoining room could not be locked and the room smelled. So we were put in another room were the TV did not work and when we tried to leave the inside door handle broke and came off and we were trapped inside the room for a short time. This triggered an anxiety attack and I was very upset and uncomfortable. This happen at 3:00 in the morning so we had to move our stuff from one room to the next Then we were put in a 3rd room that had 2 full size beds (the prior 2 rooms had king size beds) which were to small for me husband and I to sleep together comfortably so we had to sleep in seperate beds and the bed spread on one of the beds was dirty and stained. I have never had such an unpleasant experience staying in a motel. Because of all the interuptions and having to move to different rooms I was unable complete a job assignment by the deadline. Now I have to pay for another room for another night. I do not think I should have to pay for another room when all these interuptions could have been prevented by just doing normal maintanence at the hotel. The clerk at the front desk handled the situation as well as he could but at this point I will never return to another super 8 motel. Sometimes these things can happen so now I will see how it is handled then I will decide weather or not I will return to Super 8 Motel.
hotel cleanliness
Stayed in your hotel in Ogden Utah. Drove 16 hrs for Mesa Phoenix. Hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. Mold and spider webs in the bathroom. Wife discovered feces next to the toilet the next day that had not been cleaned up. Walls in room appeared to have urine stains. Room smelled like urine. Window overlooking parking lot broken (LARGE CRACK) NOT SAFE. Request refund.
customer service
I stayed for 1 month paying cash weekly when I went to pay last friday, as I had done the two previous weeks, I was told I had to wait until saturday for check out time. Come saturday I was told my time couldnt be extended due to them over booking? So I had 2 hours to leave when they knew the previous night! This has put me in a big bind, because it was a weekend I couldnt find a room so I had to sleep in my truck! its amazing to me that there were 2 other rooms that were told the same, everyone of us Caucasian! The parking there is a joke, the staff all rude and short with everyone. Police presence was constant which makes one wonder whats going on in that hotel. I believe I am due the courtesy of at least a partial refund due to the way I was given notice and ended up sleeping in my truck when I could hsve been told the prior evening and could have found a place to sleep! My name is linda sanders [protected]. I would appreciate a reply! If not I will take this furture, I am a 65 yr old woman, who has worked all my life in customer service and I am appalled at the way I was treated and talked down to!
swimming pool
I am very very upset with the stay at super 8! We don't even live a block away but saved money to take our kids to the hotel so they could swim. It's not often we do this because we have four kids so ya are money is tight... The kids ere able to swim last night and I called the front desk to see what time the pool open and they said 9.. I got my kids ready and my youngest is 2. We walked all the way down there and the pool was closed! For two hours! Come back? How when I have to check out at 11...? My kids were crying and very upset! If your not going to have your pool open u should tell
People! I would have gone somewhere else! My youngest was devastated! I am completely unhappy! This is very very rude to do to families who just go to a local hotel to swim! The front desk was very nice for our stay but I will probably not recommend staying here if you can't control the swimming pool! Thank you

I am wondering if this is the way complaints are handled given a reference # then forgotten about.
This was by far the dirtiest place I have ever seen they could take a look at numerous other Super * Hotels to learn what clean is.
Oh and the brown water in the pool is that a health hazard.
Yes I am not happy that I have been ignored.
everything
I reserved two rooms online for my daughters college tour at Radford. The Super 8 rooms were supposed to be non smoking king beds one room was to have a jacuzzi. When arrived i was informed the hotel had no pool as advertised and i would notcbe recieving the jacuzzi room no matter what i said. Then after getting in room that smelt like a ciggerette store i learned phone was brok and toilet didnt work. Maintence came with a plunger and told me i when used toilet plunge after. This is how i want to spend night after paying 104.00 per room when it states $64 a night on brochure. If town wasnt completely booked i would've walked away. I am going to complain and call everyone I can.
price that was quoted and was overcharged way more
I called to see how much the room was, and was told $55.00 + tax.
So, I checked in 3am on the 7th for 2 nights and that should be til Tuesday morning, right? No. They come banging on the door at 9:30, wanting to know if we were checking out on Monday. I stayed one more night. First time charged 111.00 & second time 185.00. No way. I could have stayed in the Holiday Inn and got better accommodations for that price.
I am not happy with this, and I tried to call and get a run around.. I will be expecting a call from you soon.

super 8 motel in columbus ne
When we arrived and got into our room, the heater/air conditioner on the wall did not work. They put 2 radiant heaters in our room. One on the night stand between the beds and the other on the table next to the TV that didn't work.
We promptly unplugged the one between the beds, because it would have burned someone if you rolled over and touched it... The other one was moved and it blew the breaker in our room. It took them over an hour to figure out how to get the lights back on.
They never did fix the unit in the wall and we had to sleep with that radiant heater on all night and the window open so that it didn't get to hot.
Then both mornings there was no hot water to shower with.
The people were nice to deal with, but the hotel is not worth what we paid each night to stay there.

Very dirty hotel room(134) nasty floors, non-smoking room that had cigarette burns on carpet, smelled horrible, a/c not working right, looked like like chicken in filter of ac., nasty refrigerator and sinks. Bedspreads nasty. Breakfast room was gross. I called and they said I could get a discount next visit(not ever happening). I really want my credit card refunded. Totally awful experience. I am a Wyndham timeshare owner and this is disgusting.
personal injury on the premises and failure to speak to me and address personal loss and injury.
Was injured at the Super 8 in Dublin, VA and my efforts to speak to the manager have been ignored. He has this phone number and my significant other's name to contact me through as he still has not even asked my name. This happened on the evening of 3/28/18 at 4:45 pm approximately. Today's date is 4/2/18. I have documented where the injury occurred and my injury which he obviously does not care about since he has not even asked my name!

front desk personnel
Stayed at the Super 8 Salt Lake City Airport on March 24 and 28th, 2018. During check in and check out for both stays the same person was in charge. He offers no sense of hospitality or that he even cares if you stay at the hotel or not. No welcome, no smile, no how can I help you. In fact had to wait to check out both times because he was no where to be found. He also is very had to understand. During both stays during check out myself and another guest had to help other guests understand what he was trying to say. I also witnessed his difficulty in making persons who phoned in trying to understand what he said. His appearance is also very unprofessional. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and know that if we do not treat our customers as if they were our most important concern then we won't have any. This is a great location and a pretty good hotel but it won't be for long if he continues in this manner. I won't be recommending this location and have shared my review.
motel facilities
My wife and I stayed in the Super 8 in Quartzsite, AZ for one night in Feb. of 2018. It wasn't our first choice, but it was late and we were exhausted from traveling all day. This motel should be shut down! First, the personnel were quite unfriendly and talked shop among themselves behind the counter. The smelly hall carpet had a dark grease stain down the center and the room reeked of soured linens. The 7 ft. breakfast bar consisted of coffee, some bread, two cereals and a pancake maker. When I asked about fresh fruit and ice water, I was told "We don't have that." There were only two breakfast tables for the 51 rooms. My wife and I are retired and have traveled all 50 states by car over the years. Without a doubt, this is the worst motel we ever had the displeasure of staying in. My calls to the Super 8 home office have gotten zero response! My opinion is that Super 8 doesn't really give a damn what you think!
My recommendation is, don't ever consider staying at a Super 8 Motel, even if you have to sleep in your car. The company is only interested in selling franchises and, apparently, do little background checking or daily oversight over their franchise owners. You will play hell trying to complain, as the "big cheese" is insulated from public view by hiding behind his corporate bureaucracy. I would highly recommend Choice Hotels for a much better value at comparable prices.
conditions of a room
Stayed at a super 8 in Gastonia, NC, this place should be condemned. Very dirty, very noisy and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. This is a disgrace to the super 8 name. I have pictures of the damaged room as well as a receipt. I can email those pictures so if you can please forward me the address. My name is Tania Kaluhiokalani, my phone number is [protected] and my email address is [protected]@hotmail.com.

Tania
after housekeeping left my room a baseball cap that was for a friend was gone
We stayed at the Super 8 Riviera beach in west palm beach for 2 night. We booked that motel because it was close to the Astros spring training park. We had purchased a hat for a friend and it went missing. We checked in 3/9 and checked out out 3/11. We bought the hat friday night and went to another game on saturday. When we returned to our room we noticed the hat was gone. We searched the room the suitcases any place that we could look. I told the manager he called me a liar and told me to look for it. He said no one took it that i am just over looking it. He was so rude Nilesh Patel the manager. There was no apology for it, He said he was not responsible for the hat. I think if your housekeeping took it you are responsible. I was really treated badly. We have stayed at many motels over the years and this has never happened. I was not able to get back to the park to get another hat so now I am out $30.00 and my friend is out a hat. I will never stay there again. I would like my money back or a written apology. This housekeeper probably has done this before but people did not realize something was missing until they got home. If you can not help me please let me know who i can connect. This is wrong and should not happen to anyone. Sincerly Lillian Russell
