condition of room and customer service
We checked into our room at about 1AM Friday June 6th 2019 and were there till the 11th. Our room was filthy dirty. There were little hairs all over the bathroom sink area and in the shower/tub. There was sticky stuff all over the floor. There wasn't a trash can in our room. We found live roaches every day. My sister woke up to a roach crawling on her arm...

On May 16th, 2019 I took a lady that works for us to the Super 8 hotel in Metropolis, Illinois. She was a victim of domestic violence in her home, and I got her 3 night to stay. When checking in the clerk at the desk told me if I go through Expedia I could get the room cheaper. So I did. I was also told since the guest was a resident of Metropolis, that I...

I made a reservation at the Super 8 in Warrenton, MO. It turns out, I needed to change the check in date from May 31, 2019 to June 8, 2019. I called either May 28th or the 29th, to make this change. I was treated very rudely to Mike, guy that answered the phone. I finally had enough and asked to speak to his mgr. I was told Mindy would be in at 10:00. Called back and Mindy was busy, had to leave my name and #. I did receive a return call from, I believe, Ann. She was wonderful. She gave me a # to call to make the change and was once again treated like crap. Ann called back later in the day and asked if I had any luck. At this point, we had enough and decided to book our reservation elsewhere. Just want ed to make it clear that with our son opening a business in Warrenton, MO, we know we will be making future reservations. I just wish we could stay at this Super 8, because we had great service in the past. With our son belonging to the Chamber of Commerce, we had mentioned this fiasco. Please advise if anything can be done. Thank You.

My husband and were coming home from our trip to Florida when we decided to stop and rest for The night. We stayed in Columbia SC . motel ID 29253. We checked in and everything looked good. I went in to take a bath, and no stopper just a hole in the tub where one goes. We called the front desk and they came and looked and we were told to take a shower. I like to take a bath after along drive and soak. They found me a stopper and I took my bath. Everything was fine my husband and I were sitting on the bed watching TV and checking out E-Mail and facebook when my husband said he saw something run across the floor. He didn't see it again so he laid out his medicine for in the morning, to our surprise that mouse chewed part of his medicine. He took a picture of it and he told the front desk and she called the manager. They gave him $20.00 of the $71.04 back. We were in room 101. We stay in a lot of Motels because we travel a lot we are gospel singers and my husband is a preacher. Thank you for you time
the deplorable conditions of the rooms offered to me at your midlothian super 8.
On May 18, 2019 I made a reservation thru booking.com for a room at your Midlothian Super 8. The reservation number is [protected]. Upon arrival, the desk clerk informed me that the only room he could offer me was a smoking room which I accepted. The room assigned was room 224 which was the last room on the second floor. Upon entering the room, the smoke in...

The fridge wasn't working and the front desk refused to move us to a different room. We were told that this is normal. We ended up throwing away all our breast milk for our infant. We had to purchase formula to replace the breast milk.
When we told the general manager regarding this issue during checkout, his response was 'sorry'. He made no effort to mediate a solution.
charges on card
Nowhere in your reservation policy that you emailed to myself states that I would be charged to cancel.
It says there is a 48 hour cancellation policy but not stating that I would be charged.
I booked a roomon friday the 10th for friday the 10th in Canmore, AB then was called into Edmonton to a medical emergency with my mother.
I was then charged even though I tried getting ahold of the hotel and being put on hold for over 12 minutes.
And when finally getting through I had asked to speak to a manager cia call back and still nobody has contacted me. It's now monday the 13th. How professional is this place?
Totally disappointed and feel taken advantage of. I am asking for some sort of closure to this and to not be ignored by the people you pay to deal with these issues.
Shame on you all. I'm demanding a full refund without reaching to other avenues.
super 8 laurel, miss.
We stayed in Rm. 111. The carpet is old and filthy. I saw the carpets in two other first floor rooms because the doors were open, same old, filthy carpets. I would rather walk barefoot in a cow stall than on those carpets! If you have any interest in what we think of Super 8 then you will advise the local owner to replace all those disgusting carpets. They make me wonder what's inside the matresses (bedbugs).

condition of room
The Municipality of Clarington recently booked accommodation for two of our employees to stay at the Super 8 Motel, 281 Woodlawn Road West, Guelph, while attending training at the University of Guelph. The dates of stay was for three nights from Sunday May 5th to Wednesday, May 8th. When these employees returned we were presented with photos showing the unsuitable conditions of the assigned room. The problems included a ceiling patched with a piece of wood and black mold in the tub/shower and dirt around the main entrance door into the room (photos attached). Based on the conditions one of our employees decided to find better accommodation elsewhere in the area while the other had to remain due to financial reasons. It has also been brought to our attention that other Super 8 guests may have declined their bookings as a result of the unsatisfactory conditions that were being offered.
The Municipality of Clarington has booked accommodation for staff at the Super 8 Motel on other occasions in the past and have not received these types of complaints. As such, we are disappointed with the conditions that our recent employees have had to endure. We would appreciate your comments on this situation and your consideration for compensation related to the matter.
Reservation information attached.

the general satisfaction of the room in yuma, az.
We requested a handicap room because we both have back and legs problems. We received a handicap room and we were both glad about that, however, when we took a shower the hose on the shower head leaked and we both had to use our towels to mop up the floor. Cleaning did replace our towels for the second night. Maintenance did replace the shower hose the second day and we did appreciate it.
Being a handicap room you would think there would be at least two waste baskets for convenience, however there was not.
No ice bucket in the room and again if either of us would have been in a wheelchair this would have been a huge inconvenience. Had to go to front desk to get one.
And when we called to book our room. We ask if there was a pool. We were told, "yes, but not heated." When we arrived there's a sign "Do not use pool." We were also told there was a hot tub. It wasn't operating or even full yet.
We stayed at a Super 8 in Payson, AZ and it was immaculate. That was way we booked Super 8 in Yuma, AZ. We will never book there again. I guess it's all in the management.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Laramie, WY on April 13, 2019. The bathroom at the Super 8 in Laramie, WY was AWFUL, mold everywhere. Help at front desk was very rude. Read full review of Super 8poor service, disruptive guest
On Wednesday, March 20th I stayed at the Super 8 Wyndam in Innisfail, Alberta on my way to a meeting in Red Deer. The check-in was fine. Although my room was below satisfactory and not overly clean, my complaint is regarding another guest whose disruptive and egregious behavior caused me to be awake and bothered for several hours.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. I was awoken by the lady directly across the hall from me. She was standing in the hallway yelling and screaming at the front desk staff because she was unable to dial out on her phone. Our rooms were quite a way from the main lobby and so her shouting was very disruptive. She then proceeded to go in her room and phone the front desk, swearing profusely, alternating between screaming down the hall and yelling from inside her room. This went on for about half an hour until finally the front desk staff came to her room to try and calm her down. After he left, she continued her rant of vulgarity, saying she was raped in front of the hotel by the RCMP, saying she was going to sue the hotel and local law enforcement.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. she knocked on my door, asking to help her phone out. She was crying and kept knocking however, I did not answer the door. She then knocked on the door beside mine and when a gentleman opened the door, she proceeded to ask him for beer and if his wife was with him. When he closed the door on her, she came back to my door and continued knocking. It was at that time that I phoned the front desk and encouraged them to call the RCMP as her disruptive behavior did not stop. They told me they would move me to a different room. This was not a satisfactory resolution as expecting me to pack up and change rooms at midnight was very unreasonable. She should have been removed from the hotel.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. I was woken again to the sounds of her yelling and slamming her door after she had either gone out for food or had it delivered.
The next morning I expressed my concerns to the front desk staff. She told me she would leave a message for the owner of the hotel to call me. He never called me back and so two days later I called him, expressed my disappointment in the stay, and asked for a refund. He would not give me a refund stating that they had offered to switch my room instead. When I mentioned that I had suggested them calling the RCMP, they said that it was the RCMP who had brought this llady to the hotel in the first place!
I filed a complaint with Super 8 when I received an email asking for feedback. I got an email back from the Reviews Manager which I have pasted below:
Dear Leah,
Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at Super 8 by Wyndham Innisfail. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies.
Your feedback is very important to us, but in reviewing this situation it was documented that staff offered to move you to a different room, so the owner stands by his conversation with you that he can not refund your stay. Here at Super 8, we continuously strive to meet your needs and expectations.
We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
Sincerely,
Elaine Williams

It is very disappointing that there was no responsibility taken from the hotel or Reviews Manager. This is a terrible reputation for Super 8 to have and I will not stay there ever again. I would expect a refund due to the highly inappropriate nature of the evening from the actions of this guest.
Sincerely,
Leah Kingston
breakfast
I am a Canadian who for the past ten years have spent our winters in Texas. On our 2000 mile trip each way we try to spend each night on our trip coming and going (two nights each way at least) in Super 8's. On our return trip in the spring we always spend the last night at the Super 8 in Bismark North Dakota, the one at the Junction of Interstate 94 and Hwy 83. This year we spend the night of Tuesday April 2nd. there. We were very disappointed with the breakfast or lack thereof at this Motel. Each time we have stayed there we have always been impressed with the Breakfast as we have been at other Super 8's. We noticed this year that this particular establishment is under new management and the new owners?/managers are East Indian. It appears to me they are trying to cut corners for financial gain as there was very little if any choice. There was NO fruit, NO hot items whatsoever, and we even had to ask for jam for toast. The butter was in a spray bottle, disgusting and the jam that was finally produced was in a large squeeze bottle. Not very sanitary.
We will seriously consider our option to stay at this place ever again.

The housekeeper at the motel 8 in Kingport TN near highway 81 was very nice and friendly. Our rooms was clean and she was very helpful.
cleanliness of room!
Room 119 at the Super 8 in Kingsport Tennessee was filthy. The sheets were not washed they were stained. The flood had not been vacuumed or mopped. The furniture, dresser and night stand looked as if an animal had been chewing on them. The vanity was dirty, the toilet paper holders wouldn't hold the toilet paper it would fall off. I talked to the attendant on duty and expressed my concerns and did not even get a sorry. What can we do to make it right? Nothing! This hotel needs to be condemned! It isn't fit for animals to stay in.

I have the information you requested on the rooms we stayed in while at the Super 8. The rooms were reserved under Vanessa Johnson (our team sponsor). I also have a reference # 4182837, which I was given when I contacted Wyndham Corporate Customer Service. The representative was incredibly helpful, but we are still in need of assistance. What are my next steps to get this resolved?

We had placed all items in room 219 because room 221 needed to be cleaned. There should not have been anyone in room 219. The phone stolen was a Samsung Galaxy S7, which was in room 219, along with the 3 backpacks found in the stairwell. Now my daughter has been without a phone for two weeks and has had to go on another school trip without a phone.
Honestly, I feel as though we have been very patient and understanding, as we have continued this investigation. I have thoroughly documented all correspondence. At THIS TIME, I am in NEED of assistance, directions, and guidance in how to proceed. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from a Wyndham representative.
Thanks

Had a nice stay untill I got a letter under my door saying they will call authorities because allegedly they had smell marijuana coming from my room which was not true I do not smoke it was very offencive and rude made me feel very uncomfortable to stay any longer I take regular drug screens for my job and what a way to me me feel whil working out of town. Just ridiculous way to treat your guess by accusing them smoking marijuana and threatening to call the authorities beyond mad at the situation!
