My wife and I were traveling to Florida in late October and booked a room in one of you Super 8 hotels located in
Florence South Carolina (1832 1/2 West Lucas St) on 10/19/18 to 10/20/18 (room 108). It was one of the worst experiences that we ever had while traveling. The room that we were given, room 108, was a handicap room of which we never asked for. It was dirty and neglected. The shower and plumbing in the bathroom was terrible.
There was an old broke ice machine blocking the handicap parking space and the outdoor swimming pool was filled with a green disgusting algae water which smelled. When I booked this room the rating was decent but
upon staying there, I can only say that this was disgraceful.
I would like to know what your company is going to do about this. We paid $78.39 for this room. I feel that I should
be entitled to a refund considering the appearance of the hotel and room. I have listed my contact information below. Thank you

On 10/25/18 a friend and I stayed at the Super 8 550 W Donlon Street Blythe, CA.
At 1:05 am the night clerk called our room to see if everything was okay and if not, suggested that we could move to another room. It was one o'clock in the morning. We were both awoken from a sound sleep. I was awake for the rest of the night. At 6 am, I confronted him at the counter. First thing I asked was he the one that called, he denied that he did so. I then asked if he was the only one working the night shift and he said yes. He lied straight to my face. He suggested that the company I booked the room with must have called, funny thing is, I didn't book the room! I hope that Super 8 does not have a policy of calling customers at 1 o'clock in the morning to wake them up and then lie about it. John is extremely unprofessional and should be relieved of his duties. I trust that Super 8 does the right thing, if not, I will spread the word as far as I can. My reach is extremely long!

cleanliness and customer service
Hi I checked in at Super 8 Thunder bay, Canada on September 9th.
The morning of September 10, I took a shower before checking out. I showered and used the hotel towel. While I was using the towel, I figured out that the towel is not clean, and has something looks like a blood drop. I got nervous and worried, I run downstairs with he towel in my hands asking for the manager. Then, I showed the manager the dirty towel that has a blood drop on it. He was so rude, he says it might be anything it doesn't have to be blood. He didn't even acknowledge the huge mistake. He just said I will talk to the responsible people.I told him I won't let it go, he said that's fine.

I've been staying at this hotel most weekends for the last 4 month's. The very first room I ever stayed in had a cracked and leaking bathtub. (This bathtub still has not been repaired) Most of the doors do not latch. The desk staff has been great. Management, however has been non responsive to any problems. Last night was the last straw. Around 9pm the ceiling in the middle of the bathroom began to pour water. This was no small leak. It filled the trashcan within 2 min. Management lives on property and informed the desk clerk they'd come look in 30 min. 2 hours later I finally go back to the front desk to be informed no-one is coming to fix it. They live on property. If management had just come down and looked I would have been happy. She nor her husband even stepped out into the hall or offered to talk to me in any way. They refuse to do any repairs. The manager treats the employees poorly. I've never been to such a poorly run establishment. Never again!

I'm lying in the bed at 8 Curry Avenue, PA and 2 small roaches came crawling out the night stand. Awaited for management with no response. Check in at 2:30pm, it's now 4:23pm. The room smelled with cigarette smoke. Not well cleaned or disinfectant. Fithy dirty carpet and they couldn't relocate me. Delay with the room door closing so you have to close your door manually to ensure it's closed. Front desk attendant, causaian balding head had no compassion other than "I'm the only one here" poor customer service. Sink in bathroom is missing the washer therefore water splashes all over sink. This is a Birthday vacation for my husband to go to the Steelers game. This is unacceptable for the attraction that on the area. And management is driving a 500 Benz and your property is like trash. I drive a 300 BMW, my house is not like this. Get some Fabulous disinfect, Terminator for bugs, and get the crackling floors fixed before you cover it with dirty carpet... Disappointed$@&/"@(;!?!

dirty room with strong mold smell and cockroaches
On Tues. Oct 23, 2018 my wife and I stayed at the Super8 motel at 20 Birmingham Hwy. in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I paid the $70.34 fee but did not go to the room until late in the evening. On entering the room there was a very strong moldy smell. I went to the restroom and found a cigarette butt on the floor along with cigarette ashes. I cleaned that up and we went to bed. I got up at 2:00 am to use the restroom. When I turned the light on several cockroaches scattered on the floor. When I reported it to the young lady at the reception desk she told me that she would let the manager know when he arrived.
Needless to say we did not sleep and didn't eat the breakfast due to the cockroaches and mold.
I feel that we should get a full refund and the motel should be checked by the head office so no one else has the same problem. We have stayed at several super 8 motels in the past and have never had this problem.

I had reservations at this hotel on oct 19-21, 2018. The first night my allergies acted up. The second night my asthma flared up to the point that I was wheezing and needing medication. When I arrived home on the 21st I was awake the entire night taking medication to help my breathing. I am currently on my 3rd day in the hospital due to significant breathing issues! I have been tested for infections and influenza and those are negative! I am here because of something in that room! It has been a miserable, extremely expensive 4 days!
I paid $100/night to stay with super 8 and I deserved a clean, healthy room to stay in. Never staying at super 8 again and neither will my family or friends!

Although the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, the breakfast items were not. Very limited and the fruit was old. I eat grain bread normally...and all that was available for bread was white. We stayed for a week, and each day it was the same.
I feel bad complaining..as the staff was friendly..but I'm not impressed with the food.

We stayed in a super 8 motel. And didn't get any sleep at all. It all started with finding a cracked pipe. Than at 2 am some guy was out in the parking a lot dance singing hollering the law come took the guy to his room that was beside us and he bring beating on the walls open and shuting windows all night till about 6 am in the morning. Witch made me miss my doctors appointment that morning at 8 am the whole reason we stayed in a motel.

Their manager Fawaz ** is a horror show. We checked in as a group on September 1, 2018 only to find out that everyone's reservations were screwed up and the wonderful staff was trying to fix it. The manager finally shows up after everyone can finally check. Instead of being apologetic for the screw up with our reservations he tries to charge me $15.00 per dog instead of the one single fee of $15.00 for all dogs in my room which I was quoted. When I was able to prove the fee I was quoted he said he would run my credit card for $250.00 when I leave for the damage my dogs did. I told him my dogs would not cause any damages. He said we'll see what he thinks once we leave so I had to take pictures of the room when we checked in as well as when we checked out.
The alarm started going off in the rooms around 6/7 pm and his staff called him to tell him but he didn't care and wouldn't come back to the motel until 3 hours later when his guest called the fire department because everyone was afraid that there was a fire and everyone was in danger so people stood outside their rooms for hours before the fire department told us it was a faulty alarm in one of the rooms. When all the guest came to the lobby at 10pm to find out why he allowed this to continue for hours again instead of trying to calm everyone down and apologize for not doing anything earlier he became confrontational, started screaming at everyone and throwing us all out.
I have him on video saying he wouldn't charge any of us for the night due to the nightmare he put us through, but waited for me to leave the next morning and ran my credit card for $122.91 without my authorization. I am now trying to get my money back, but Wyndham Resorts refuses to refund it even though it was taken without my authorization. I have filed complaints with the PA Attorney General as well as the CFPB and will have to fight to get my money back.

Oct 4 I prepaid for a room at super 8 in mokena, il at 5:48pm for a room needed oct 5. I added a note that I will arrive at 11am. I didn't need the room so I called oct 5 at 1:[protected]. I was told that I booked the room for oct 4 so they deduct the money from my account. I tried to explain that I had booked for the next day (never mind that I called to cancel the day after I was suppose to check in. They just kept referring to their policy. I would like a refund!

I booked a night's stay at this property for Oct. 6, 2018. We checked in earlier in the day, but couldn't access our room at that time. When we returned at approximately 9-9:30 pm, there was no one at the desk. We found our room, but were met with a very strong mildew smell. The sheets and bedspread were also damp.
We stayed in the room for approximately 90 min, in hopes that the smell would subside, but decided that it would be harmful to our health to stay the entire night, as we are both allergic to mold and mildew.
We went to the desk, but there was no one there, so we left a note as to why we had to leave and left.
I've sat through 3 calls with Priceline in an attempt to secure a refund for this reservation. The first 2 calls resulted in the Priceline customer service rep telling me that there wasn't a manager onsite when the calls were made, so no refund was possible. On the third call, the customer service rep put me on hold while she called the hotel. When she came back on the line, she said that "Melissa" informed here that there was no possibility for a refund. When pressed, the CSR admitted that Melissa wasn't a manager, but kept telling me that there was no possibility for a refund.
I would like a full refund for the room rates that I paid through Priceline - $84.99 - which doesn't include the hotel taxes.

My husband and I tried to stay at the Super 8 in Big Timber, Montana last week. We hoped to pay cash but leave my debit card on file for hotel purposes. The clerk had me insert my card and told me it declined so we would not be able to stay there. I asked her specifically if she was going to run my card and she said, no. We ended up staying a couple miles down the road. Days later I noticed a charge on my card from that motel. They did refund my money but I have to wonder how often this happens and people don't notice. The only reason I did notice is because I almost completely emptied my account before my husband and I moved out here from NE. All I have to say is "not cool".
black mold in the bathroom terrible customer service
Was here last week for 3 days I come on the third day and they cleaned out the food and beverages in my fridge was told I would be reimbursed on Monday my boss books the same room from Monday through Friday it's now Tuesday still no reimbursement from the food and beverages that was taken out of my fridge that the room service admitted to so called throwing away I get off work Tuesday and I'm missing a few sodas out of the fridge everything else is still there so I called up to the front desk and the guy says that they would not do that they have turned in more expensive stuff like iPhones and they do not want to lose their job over a couple of sodas but yet the front desk would want to reimburse me for the few sodas that they did not claim to take or throw away so you offer reimbursements for a few sodas that they did not claim to throw away or take but when they do claim to throw away or take something there's no reimbursements made if that doesn't sound back asswards I don't know what is if I could give them a negative star I would! I'm requesting my boss to never put me up at this Motel again

I stayed at this Motel 10/10/2018 too 10/11/2018 . It is falling apart..the entire top floor is being held by Boards on the bottom floor I mean it is not safe and it definitely can't be legal. I have pictures... For the price that I paid for this room is absolutely ridiculous and I never complain but this Motel needs to be shut down. Super 8--Jackson, MI. Hands down the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. My total bill for two nights should have been in the vicintity of $164. Instead, today i am fighting with them about $240 in pending charges on my credit card. i have the confirmation to prove my room rate. Scam? I don't know. Fraud? Absolutely. Why Super 8 attaches its name to this roadside dump is beyond me.
