TGI Fridays review: Dinner last night

I booked a table for 6.30 yesterday for myself, my daughter and son. My daughter ordered the Meatless strips with a side of fries which she has had many times before and really enjoyed. The worst thing that could happen to a vegetarian happened, she was served with real chicken strips, ate one and said, I fear this is chicken. I called over our waitress and said, these are meatless strips aren’t they and she said no. I said, didn’t you hear what she ordered plus she pointed to the menu, she said no she didn’t hear (the restaurant was relatively empty at this point) This is totally unacceptable on every level. She was told the only vegetarian options was the vegan burger, which was bought over, she tried it but didn’t like. In addition to that, we ordered nachos to start. They were cold and stale and the salsa wasn’t salsa, just cold tomatoes. I had already complained about them and then the ‘Meatless Meal’ came along. I mean, the server should have recalled what we ordered and read it back after we had, that didn’t happen. When I complained about my the nachos, she said I will tell the chef but we didn’t see that happen. When She took away the ‘chicken strips’ she made another member of staff come to apologise, then a third member of staff to explain what a vegetarian could choose from the menu. (No meatless tacos and no meatless fajitas, just the plastic vegan burger, do you not do any of the meatless items now?) I had the chicken quesadillas whilst tasted really nice but was just thrown on a plate and cut at random, no pride taken at all in presentation. And to top it all off, I’ve just tried to add my receipt to my Stripes reward app and it says the receipt is cancelled. What on earth happened last night? I’m in a good mind to go on social media to show what happened, the golden rule is, DO NOT GIVE A VEGETARIAN MEAT, it is totally unacceptable!
