I ordered my Favorite Buffalo Wild Wings Friday 11/4/2022 at approximately 5pm and the delivery driver delivered the food to the wrong house. When i got the text that the delivery driver was here. I got up to grab food and it wasn't here. When i tried to use the uber eats connect to call him it took 3 times to work and then the delivery guy said he delivered the food and continued to argue with me about it when i said that i am standing outside my house. He finally came to my house and said you're right I didn't deliver it here I don't know where the food is let me go check and came back 15 minutes later with my food that had been sitting out in the cold rain for the last 30 minutes. Needless to say my food was cold like refrigerated cold. The order was an $89 order and the customer support that I called just said it is noted on your account that next time make sure to do better. $89 down the drain and that's all they could say. Not a refund or reorder my food for me. Just a note saying to do better for my next order
Desired outcome: A refund, a reorder, anything would have been better then a we'll try to do better.
Charging practice
I received an alert tht I had a 21 dollar balance so I thought I would buy something small. So I spent 24 dollars thinking I would be charged the remaining 3 dollars.
The 24 dollar charge went to 37 dollars with added costs. Okay so I should be charged 16 more dollars. Nope I get charged another 25 dollar increment
So I decide this system is a scam and want to remove my balance. I use the app to try and get support. Cannot find any number or email. Eventually after googling I found the support number from another website.
I call support and ask for a refund of my balance. After 30 min, I am told the group I was talking to couldn’t do that and that the issue would be escalated and I would get a refund in 3-5 days. That was almost a month ago and still no refund of my own money. I’m not even asking for a refund on the order.complete scam

On Saturday (29/10) I placed an order with Uber Eats which was delivered. There was an issue with one of my cards which had recently been replaced by the issuer, as a result another card on my account was used. I tried to change the details of the card but the system would not allow it.
To try and resolve the issue I deleted the card from the system, which was successful, and then tried to add the card back to my wallet which the app would not allow, telling me to try again in a minute. I tried another card and got the same message. I updated the app to the latest version and again tried both cards and got the same message. I messaged support on Saturday night, on Sunday I was told it needed to go to a different department.
Today I have been told I am being investigated for fraudulent activity and have not been given any details of the allegations while your investigations are ongoing. I asked the support team about who I could complain too about the misinofrmation on the app and was told it was them.
I suggested it was not really possible for a department to improatially investigate itself and was then told they would not respond to any further messages.
I called and spoke to an Uber Eats support officer who gave me the same answer, I then asked to speak to their manager and was put through to Izhar who told me he could do nothing and again to raise the complaint with the app help system.
Uber Eats support has provided a really poor service, not explaining the complaints procedure effectively, failing to answer my questions and giving me false information.
There are 2 investigations which needs to be completed, the one about my alleged fraudulent activity and the other about my complaint.
Desired outcome: I would like to understand why the support team did not handle my complaint effectively.

Im writing this complaint against Uber eats. I have place an order on the App on Saturday evening 29th October 2022 Order Number#A4E52.which R301.60 was debited off my account.I tracked the driver who's name was John and the App showed 2 minutes away ..i then proceeded to go outside and waited for the driver .a few minutes later the App showed that my order was delivered.to my surprise i wondered what they meant as i was still waiting at my gate for the food .
I waited a little longer thinking mabe the driver cannot find the place .20 minutes went by i contacted help on the App which transferred my call to the driver who said he is coming ..and this was half an hour later..the order showed delivered at 8.01pm .we waited right till 9 pm and then i kept messaging on the App but there was no response.tried all numbers but wasnt going through.
Well the night passed and i still messaged the next morning which was Sunday but still no response..i messaged the whole day through still no response..the e-mail i sent had a response that no one views those emails and to send to another email which does not exist .today which is monday i messaged again in the morning.no response and in the afternoon as well .im left with no other option to complain i hope they can give a good explanation why they dont assist their customers.All i want is my refund and hope no one goes through what i have and my kids was very disappointed as they get take outs once a month .my payment showed Johannesburg 00ZA who debited.its really sad how people cant get help when they need from this Uber Eats App ..and no one to contact or email that's going to help either..

I ordered with Uber eats last night and never received my order. Noone contacted me either via text or email. I was charged for the order saying the driver couldn't get in contact with me within 5 minutes of arriving at my location. Noone arrived here at all. The directions say to leave food by the door (there is a table there, and a doorbell on the door).
They are taking the word of the driver that said he tried to contact me. I checked every few minutes and noone delivered anything.
They are terrible to try and contact and the only way is on the app. They must be making a killing on issues like this; and who gets the food they don't deliver?

The moment food arrived, i was on the floow By the time i reached to entrance, the delivery guy said he cancelled order and left. Whole the incident took maximum 3-5 mins. So, i waited for refund as i see when order gets cancelled refund takes place. I still didnot get. moreover also want to raise complain why the delivery guy couldnt spare for 3 mins. immediately he left from my location.

Order didn't arrive & no refund either
Hi. I placed an mcdelivery order on the 25/10/22 which was a total of £34.37
This order did not show up, I then contacted uber eats who proceeded to tell me that the guidelines were followed and I would not to entitled to a refund or get another order.
I am clearly very unhappy with this.
I was also told that the driver waited outside my door for 7 minutes in an attempt to deliver. This was also untrue as I have a ring door bell and there was no attempt of delivery, I have also looked back at the footage to confirm this.
I was then also told that he tried to contact me , 5 times which was also another untrue statement as I did not have any missed calls.
I would like this to be resolved as I have paid alot of money for food that I did not recieve.

Monday, 10-24/22 I Janis Hogue ordered a plain whopper and onion rings. What I got was a chicken sandwich with lettuce and mayonnaise. Total was $18.73.
On Tuesday, 10/25/22 I decided to give them another try. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and 2 fries. The fries were $3.39. They only included 1
order of fries. Total was $19.37.

The order went through before I'd even confirmed or chosen a payment method. I didn't even want what I ordered and it just went straight through. There was no way to cancel it. There are stored payment methods and it won't let me remove them. there is also no way to contact uber eats in regards to this. I called the store within minutes and they said too bad call uber. Uber and the store have both lost a customer. Also anything to do with Uber I will not use again.

after placing the order the total bill was R138.19. So I confirmed and afterwards the app told me that tsome of the items I ordered are not in stock and therefor the total bill will be R49.85
(Please keep in mind this was notified after the R138.19 was deducted from my account)
So I would like to know how do I get my money back? Or will uber eats give me a refund? Because I paid R138.19 but only got two items worth R49.85

Your driver brought the deliver with a very torn bag, there was two bags so I cradled them in my arms. As I walked back to my door one of the burgers fell out onto the ground. Rather than apologise your driver started shouting in the street that it was My fault, when it was the fault of your torn bag! He was shouting outside My house that it was all my fault rather than simply offer to replace the item! So I took a pic of the torn bag, the burger on the floor and his bike telling him I was going to complain. He was jumping in front of his bike saying he was “going to get security”, to stop me complaining! I now have no burger and am furious! How dare one of Your drivers shout at someone’s grandmother in the street for something that is the packaging’s fault!

I was up some steps as the coffee shop was up some steps. He climbed up the steps and kept walking past me staring at me in a perverted way. It was sexual harrassment. He was leering.

I am a door man at 504 N Green St in Chicago.
Today at approx 2 pm a delivery was being made where the driver said the customer stated to leave the order at the desk.
I said we usually deliver up to trhe unit.
Let me call and confrim with the resident.
She said and I am telling you they said to leave it at the desk.
This quickly escalated into an argument where I stated if she leaves it at the desk I will consider it free lunch for me.
She began using profanity by calling me a Fing [censored] and a C**T
Followed by a stream of F you's.
I told her to leave the building and if she were to ever return, she would not be let into the building.
SHe left an entire order for a different customer not in this building who I was unable to contact as I don't have the code to enter to complete the phone call to the customer.

Unprofessional driver
Hi, I am writing to complain about an extremely rude and unprofessional driver I have just experienced.
Firstly, the order was delayed by around 20 minutes, which is fine I understand these things happen. I then get a text that the driver has arrived so I go outside and he is not there. I proceed to tell him the exact street I am on as I thought maybe he might have gotten mixed up. He then tells me to come to him so I ask him his specific location so I can walk to meet him. I walk around to try and find him but he is no where to be seen. I then proceeded to call him 3 times and had no answer. He then calls me and asks where I am of which I tell him the location I ordered the food to, he replies aggressively with “NO I WILL EAT YOUR FOOD NOW GOODBYE.” He hangs up the phone. I wait outside a little longer in case he was joking. I then see him drive past me so I try to stop him, he stops asks my name, I say “Abi, do you have my Mcdonalds order?” He then replies with yes and drives off! I am extremely disappointed with this delivery. The driver was extremely rude, he could have easily given me my order once he finally found me but instead he just drove off.

All South African companies looking to sign up with Uber Eats, PLEASE be very careful! Uber Eats takes fee they do not tell you on sign up. When asked for clarity, you cannot get past "talking" to a computer. They take fees which amount to over 77%! No company can afford this massive discount, this is absolutely unacceptable and suicide in any company who has the misfortune of dealing with such an unscrupulous and dishonest company like Uber Eats South Africa! Their own statements they send the restaurants have calculation errors, see proof attached. An incompetent and dishonest company who do not pay regularly as per their sales lies. We have repeatedly reach out to you on all your portals, to assist us with the constantly short payments, or no payments at all.
We have written on your Facebook pages and still we cannot get a human being to address our concerns.
Our numerous requests are responded to by a computer which uses sub diffusion tactics, is most confusing, which does not address our request for explanation of the overcharges which is some cases amounts to 77% of our sales.
We did not sign up for this type of extortion and we have also on numerous occasions asked for a copy of the “agreement” to which you have replied: “we do not offer this service”
We have found ourselves in the most unfortunate position of being bullied, stollen from and not assisted.
As a small company it is financial suicide for us to continue along this unethical practice, where you make far more money than we do and often take all our sales turnover and then insist we owe you further funds. Yet when asked for explanation we are send “rate our service” with emojis.
We have attached above six (and that is not all of them) payment summaries where you will notice the numerous calculation errors without any explanations.
We hereby request that you reconcile the account correctly, reimburse us what has been incorrectly deducted and adhere to the terms and commission structure which was as agreed upon.
Failing which we have no choice but to terminate this exorbitant service, allowing you to enrich yourself at our expense, threatening our staff’s jobs and threatening our financial wellbeing, when all our sales turnover is taken by Uber Eats!
Our turnover sales for the period June 2022 to October 2022 is R27 124 and we have to date received payment of R9 491.44.

Delivery driver knocked on front door returned to the vehicle immediately. Driver whistled at me from his car and told me to come and get the takeaway food from his car. This made me uneasy. He then passed the food through the window. I asked why he couldn't bring the food to the door. He said no, you come to me. I told him that was not very nice to have to force someone out of their home to collect a takeaway, into the street and try to entice them into vehicle. He started swearing and shouting abuse until a car came behind him, he then erratically drove off.

I was waiting in a mcdonalds drivethru line at 12:40am when a driver comes in between me and the car in front. This car was trying to cut the long mcdonalds drive thru line and in trying to do so has scratched my car. I yelled at the female driver to show me her insurance or at least pay for the damages up front but instead was threatened and told rude things. The mcdonalds workers at the time of the incident were very understanding and told me that she was an uber eats driver. The female driver was obviously smoking in which i think is a safety violation considering that she is handling other peoples food. I have a picture if her license plate and face and damage to my car. (Damages: circle is the scratch left and arrows are where my bumper popped off a little bit).
