UPS denied claim for freight damage

In September, 2016 claim # 1149736 was denied with no explanation. Our company used UPS Freight to ship a pick and place machine that was updated in California back to our location in Colorado. The crate top half was designed to keep out dust and debris and clearly marked "Do Not Stack." The delivery driver indicated that he was only allowed 15 minutes to get the item off the truck and leave. Later that day I removed the top section of the crate and discovered that a very heavy object had been placed on the top of the crate since the upper part of the machine had been crushed about 4 inches. The estimate to repair was $4000. UPS had a 3rd party inspector come out to view the item and packaging and agreed that we had a legitimate claim. 3 months went by an with repeated calls, I was told that these claims take a long time. Then on December 5th, 2016 I happened to go online an check the status and see that the claim was denied. (The correspondence is too numerous to show here.)

Received ups email on thursday 12-01-2016 notifying me of package delivery set for next day friday 12-02-2016. I did not receive package on friday as expected.
On saturday 12-03-2016 contacted ups customer service [protected] and requested a saturday delivery since ups failed to deliver my package on friday, i was denied telling me package set for re-delivery for monday 12-05-2016 due to high volume.
I offered to go pick up package at my local ups customer center 1391 spruce, riverside ca 92507. I was told i could not do that today but could go pick it on monday which i refused since ups can deliver it themselves on monday.
I asked to speak with supervisor and was put on hold for about ten minutes with no results, the representative then told me no supervisor available with only option for monday delivery.
I needed this package for saturday since i had hired somebody to install it and now i have to wait till next weekend to do it since i'm at work during weekdays.
I am not happy with this whole experience from ups, i filed complaint with amazon as well for my experience with ups.

UPS deliver my ups driver

My UPS driver has stopped delivering small packages up to my house.
I live on a gated property, and been told even when the gate is open unless package is large or heavy it will be left at the gate. My problem is, this is a new issue for my driver, and only became a problem in the last two months. I have experienced a stolen package, a package that was destroyed by weather, and found in the street by a neighbor. I need for a supervisor to call me to come up with a solution to protect my packages.
I would like for a supervisor or Rep to come to my home to see why the Driver has decided after ten years of delivering to my house with no issues, that he will only deliver large Heavy packages to my Home, he will leave all small packages at the Gate with gate open to allow Delivery !
I have paid for delivery never been a problem before, would like for a Supervisor to contact me and inspect my home entrance, and turn around issue that the driver has for Delivery.
This Driver put a burden on this Family for his decision not to Deliver small packages that was never an issue for over ten years at this address.

UPS service

I had refused one package with specific tracking number and driver saw a note and sent 6 of my other packages back to the sender. I have attempted for hours to have packages held at the service center or redelivered but everyone i talked to just keeps telling me that there is nothing they can do. spend 2 full hours being asked to repeat my address over and over again. Every time i do person on the other side said, well i do see that packages are being sent to the shipper now and you will have to contact shipper. When i said i did, she goes back and repeats the whole line of questioning. She did this about 6 times. i asked to speak with the supervisor and she said ok. Kept me on hold for 30 min and this person Mel with employee id PZB1EXV takes a call. Dance goes on for another 10 min and i asked if she is a supervisor or a lead. To my surprise she was just another rep. She would not get me a supervisor on the phone. As i'm writing this i'm still on hold. I will never use UPS again in my life, This was by far the worst customer service experience and worst delivery service out there. I see UPS guys leave packages out in the rain, all over the place. I would not trust them again with any of my delivery.

UPS adjustment charges for shipments made to correct address

on 10/19/16 we shipped NDA to our customer in Carnegie PA. We have been shipping to said customer since 1965. The UPS invoice arrived with an adjustment charge stating that the carton was re-directed to their main offices and not delivered to their warehouse. i called and found out that the carton had been delivered to the address we requested (the warehouse). yet UPS has requested that we pay $13 for an address correction. It took two phone calls and 30 minutes to obtain a credit which hopefully will arrive on the next invoice. UPS frequently makes adjustments to our invoices stating the address is incorrect. Everyone needs to be diligent and read their invoices because UPS is padding their income, off our neglect.

UPS ups freight driver

At 1:33 pm on 11/11/2016 we were southbound on I55 at around the 96 mile marker by Cape Girardeau Missouri. We were in the passing lane and came up behind a UPS Freight flat bed 18 wheeler truck that was passing another 18 wheeler truck. We were not "tailgating" or anything of the such. We were by no means in any hurry. The UPS truck got by the other truck and pulled over into the driving lane. As we went by the UPS truck the driver of the truck "flipped" us off. It was a white truck pulling a flat bed and had UPS Freight on the side of the truck. The driver of the truck was African American.
I can't even believe that a company so world wide known would have drivers like this driving for them. Very disrespectful!

UPS declination of delivery

I had not ordered an item that was sent to me. However I am a customer of the shipper and my credit card on my account. I declined the item on October 21, 2016. Today is November 8 and still have not returned to item to the shipper. They sent it to an access point on 10/24 claimed I wasn't home for delivery. But left no notice or anything. Also why would that matter I declined the package on the 21st. I called and spoke to 5 different people about this packaged being returned and still nothing. Then they have the package scheduled to return to my home on 11/09/16. All the while my card is being charged and there's nothing they can do. It shouldn't have happened and they are sorry. I wish somehow they will be put out of business. I have had so many problems with them over the years and now it is my honest wish they go out of business. Worst company in the world. Out of business.

UPS deliveries

11/1/2016
I ordered a 250 lb treadmill that was to be delivered by UPS FREIGHT, when I called to schedule this, I was informed that there is only 1 (ONE) person on the truck (driver) and he will not come up steps to deliver this item on my porch. ( my house is raised 4 ft., so it's only 4 (FOUR )steps).
I can understand if this was just the "normal" UPS delivery like packages, , , but come on, this is the FREIGHT line.. which is used for BIG/ HEAVY ITEMS, so why don't this line have a 2 (TWO) man crew on their trucks?
So now my only option is to let them just put it on the driveway/sidewalk (since I don't have a garage) until I figure something out. What if I was an elderly person? Handicap?
I feel sorry for ANYONE who has to use this company for Christmas deliveries! Since this item was an award given to me, & I had no control of the shipment co., I'm basically screwed at this company's mercy.

You do not want to carry a 250lb item up 4 steps and can not figure out why someone else doesn't either? They are not required to bring anything up steps.

UPS can't deliver packages

UPS refuses to accept directions for a new construction home which is within the city limits and next door to established homes. It is a hit or miss if they will deliver a package this week. They refuse to call back or try to resolve. Instead they want you to drive out of your way to pick up the package. The Post Office and FedEx have been able to deliver without delay. This is an ongoing problem and one response from customer service is sorry it's not our fault you live in a new contstruction home.

UPS mishandled merchandise

As you know, UPS trucks are not air-conditioned. I live in South Florida, and the temperature in a car or truck can reach over 120 degrees without A/C. I ordered an LED TV set from New York City. UPS was very quick: three days flat. The TV (according to the tracking site), was loaded FOR delivery approx. 6:30 AM, and delivered to my building at 5:15 PM (on the truck for nearly 11 hours?). I picked up the set from the front desk of my building about 20 minutes after it arrived. It was double boxed by the dealer. When I opened the inner box (the TV box itself), the set was nearly HOT TO THE TOUCH. It had been baking in the truck all day. Needless to say, the set was shorting out, and would not operate. WHY THE HELL DOES UPS BOTHER TO SHIP ELECTRONICS IN THESE TRUCKS WHEN THEY KNOW HEAT DESTROYS THEM? Worse yet...the replacement will be shipped with them the same way. This is riduculous!

UPS shipping

I ordered a phone that I desparately needed for a meeting, and my deadline is Friday, so I ordered the phone on Sunday. The info was sent to UPS on Monday, but they didnt process it until Tuesday, murdering my deadline. I still ordered the 3 day shipment, so i didn't panic too much. So today is Friday, and I'm expecting my package, so I look online, and its in Jacksonville. Why the hell is it in Jacksonville? And not only that, but they took multiple stops to small cites to scan the damn thing. I need it, and now my job is on the line because UPS doesn't follow their shipment times.

I tried calling customer support, and all they did was keep redirecting me to more agents. After the 7th transfer I hung up. Making sure I never order packages I need at a certain date from UPS ever again.

UPS damaged insured package and refused to pay or refund insurance money

I have never in my life wrote a public complaint about anyone or any company but this situation with UPS is so ridiculous that I had to post about it. I sent a package valued at $700 from Florence MS to New York New York on August 22, 2016 and had it fully insured. The package arrived on August 26, 2016 DAMAGED. I made my first call to UPS on August 27 which is a Saturday that is when my customer let me know the item was broken. The UPS rep placed a damage tag on the tracking number and said someone would call me Monday morning to take down all the information. I called UPS Monday morning August 29 at 8:30AM and I was assured UPS would pick the package up for inspection the following day TUESDAY August 30. UPS never showed up so I called that night and was told they couldn't find the very same place where they had just recently delivered the package, but since I gave them the correct information they would pick it up the next day, WEDNESDAY August 31. They never showed up on Wednesday so I once again called and was given no explanation why they missed a second pick up but was guaranteed they would get it the next day. THURSDAY comes and goes and UPS misses another pick up so I called again. I am told again that they will get it the next day FRIDAY. Friday comes and goes and guess what? They did NOT pick up the package AGAIN. There was no attempt to pick up the package on Saturday either. Finally after NUMEROUS calls the package was picked up on TUESDAY September 6th. I was told that the inspection would take 24-48 hours to complete and they would contact me. I called every day trying to get info on the package and finally on Monday night September 12 I was told my claim was denied because I didn't pack it correctly. I send out 10-20 packages EVERYDAY except Sunday and I know how to pack items. In all my years of shipping this is only the second item I have ever had arrive damaged. In fact I used an insane amount of bubble wrap on this particular package. During this time I was supposed to receive call backs from 7 different UPS agents and not a single one of them EVER called me back. I had an agent named Jackie in New York yell at me, talk over me, refuse to give me her supervisors name, and then hang up in my face. This is the kind of person UPS has working in customer service? Someone should pull the recording of that call! (September 6 Tuesday 11:25AM CST New York Call Center). UPS charged me $117.76 to ship a package with insurance that they broke and then denied that they were responsible. UPS is even refusing to give me back my shipping and insurance money! How crazy is it to charge someone for insurance, break their package, refuse to pay for it, and keep the insurance money!? What? Starting on August 27th through today September 13th I have placed 27 calls to UPS, talked with 36 different UPS agents, and spent a total of 9 1/2 hours on the phone and on hold with UPS and still have no resolution to my damaged package. I even have UPS agents calling me asking if I have the package. They don't even know where it is! Not one single agent I have spoken with at UPS has done what they said they would do, and not one single agent has helped me! I have been shipping things for 25 years and I have never seen such unorganized chaos in all my life! I will never again use UPS for any type of delivery and I recommend that no one else use them either if you want your package delivered on time and not damaged. There is so much more to this story and so many calls that I didn't detail here but I did take 6 pages of notes and names during this process. I also reported Jackie in New York to an outside reporting agency for her horribly unprofessional behavior. I never expected a large company like UPS to treat someone so wrong and not care one bit. There are also no phone numbers available that I could find to actually talk to someone in charge that could work on these issues. I'm writing this to post everywhere I can find on the internet so that others don't get abused and run over by a company like UPS!
1ZDT4K050320007617 Here is the tracking number so Look and see for yourself!

UPS delivery driver and customer service

Aug/19/2016.
Tracking number: V0198220641
Worst delivery and customer service. The reason why I chose UPS at first is because I need a quick global delivery. I noticed the customer service for proper delivery time and they never try to remember customer's memo. Now I missed the rush package and have to wait until monday. After this accident customer service had the worst response I experienced in canada. Driver had no responsibility to costumer and customer service had thousands excuses to cover up this mistake. 0 notification letter or phone call from UPS people until I called them and they gave me txxxx talking. This might be my last time to use UPS service and I had enough experience with these people.

How many packages do you think they get? If they take the time time to read every memo do you think any package would get delivered on time? Or maybe that is why your package was missed...they spent too much time reading memos and not enough time delivering.

UPS missing items

I sent a package to a family member via UPS service and when my sister received it she called me and said that there were several items missing! Package included some cosmetics and beauty products.
I contacted UPS and told them about what had happened, they promised to find out what was going on and contact me back as soon as they'll get some information.
When they called me back they said that they were unable to find something and said that they were very sorry and promised that it wont happen again. Who needs their lousy promises? I wasted my money on buying and sending everything and my sister needed the stuff for her small business. She had several customers who were waiting for these items. Terrible! The worst part is UPS useless customer service which is unable to help! When I sent the package everything was there, when my sister got it almost half disappeared. So I bet someone from UPS stole the products. Is it so hard to find who was guilty? I'm absolutely disgusted with UPS and will never use their service again!

UPS poor customer service and multiple delivery failure

UPS Canada should be avoided at any cost for courier service. They have absolutely zero customer service. I have even talked to their management team members and they are even more screwed up. No wonder ### flows from top to bottom in this company. I have even talked to some one at the Director level person and he was a truck driver at one point and did not go through the management school to clearly understand the real meaning management. He was the most ignorant person and could not even keep his own words. For most of the well managed company, the customer service is a core value but for UPS Canada customer service does not carry any value. In lay man term they do not even give a ### about customers. UPS Canada is the most screwed up company in all aspects on the planet.

UPS ups driver stole cabinet off my front porch & refuses to return it

On August 8, 2016, a UPS driver out of the facility in Wyoming, Michigan, took a box containing a Sterilite cabinet off my front porch. I immediately called UPS and informed them about what their driver had done. The UPS driver knew he took the wrong box, because the item description on his paperwork didn't match the item description on the box that he took. He also admitted to his team leader that he had taken the wrong box. The UPS driver left a sticker on my front door, informing me of the tracking number.

I have repeatedly called and chatted with UPS Customer Service, and have gotten no where. One of the supervisors who finally responded hung up during our conversation. The other supervisor provided two different call back phone numbers, both of which were disconnected or no longer in service.

UPS refuses to tell me why it won't simply have its driver return my stolen cabinet. It has repeatedly refused to tell me what happened to my stolen cabinet. UPS also refuses to tell me why its driver refused to pick up the original two boxes that were clearly marked with their shipping labels and tracking numbers. UPS never did pick up those boxes for return, so I gave up.

On August 12, 2016, I found the tracking number had finally been entered into the UPS Web site. The Web site stated my cabinet had been delivered to some company called Jensen Distribution Services in Spokane, Washington. I have no idea why this company is involved, or if they're somehow connected to the corrupt seller on www.amazon.com that initiated this entire mess -- The Factory Depot.

I e-mailed Jensen Distribution Services on August 12, 2016, and asked employees to please return my stolen property. I have also repeatedly chatted and e-mailed Customer Service at www.amazon.com and its corrupt third party seller - The Factory Depot - and the response from both has been the same as it was from UPS - "not our problem". Seriously?

Is there anyone who can anyone help me blog online and expose what these dishonest companies and their employees have done?

All I'm asking is that someone please return the four-shelf cabinet that was stolen off my front porch by a corrupt UPS driver on August 8, 2016. According to the liars at UPS, The Factory Depot and www.amazon.com, Jensen Distribution Services in Spokane, Washington, has my stolen cabinet.

This country is so full of corruption and evil. What has happened to Americans? When will the hate and finger pointing ever end? How much worse does it really have to get before it all collapses?

UPS ups lost my $14k pkg

I moved to Miami from Toronto a year ago and I had my parents ship out a total of 6 boxes I had packed with my personal belongings in it. They made it all the way down south with no issues. The five of the six boxes arrived in time. The driver tells me that my sixth box (total sum value of appx $14k) will be coming on the following business day (being Monday since my boxes got delivered Friday). Monday comes around and still nothing so I call Customer Service n they open an investigation. I called almost every single day for that whole month to keep track of the investigation. These customer reps literally read off a script given to them to stall you every time no matter what you say to them. Either theyll tell you something different and get your hopes up (but for all u know theyre b.sing to make u lay off for a while) or they dont know s***. I dont understand how every single rep can say something different when they are all trained to the same extent as each other.

Anyways, after 2 weeks of hustling to try to get in touch with the person in charge of the investigation, I finally got a call from Jennifer. She asked me for details of my contents (size, brands, colors etc) n mind you, my box was pretty unique because a) it had used clothes in it that I can describe and provide pictures for, b) i had Indian clothes from my wedding packed in zipper bags underneath n c) i packed a canvas collage with my pictures on it. So you just cant go wrong with identifying the box.

She gets the details off me n disappears for a week. Then she finally calls n tells me that so far they have found nothing. The box was last scanned physically in Jacksonville FL. According to tracking, it made it to Miami but never got physically scanned so there was no way of knowing if it really did get there or not. Luckily, I got a friend working at the hub where my pckg was allegedly being kept. He gave me the inside detail of what goes on in there. The packages in most trailers come damaged and broken. Which makes sense because the other 5 boxes were pretty beat up, but things were still intact except one frame that broke but whatever. He said that hes seen 80 lb pckgs sitting on 10 lb boxes in these trailers, boxes unorganized, just thrown around. More than likely, my box being a heavy 50 lb box is probably badly damaged. Damaged boxes are taken out of trailer n labelled n thrown aside. They dont scan it because if they do then theyre liable for the damages so they just take pictures n leave it on the side to sit there until further notice.

Now if the box is damaged but contents are in tact, theyll repackage it but in my case, its my lifes worth of clothes in there n theres no way of knowing whats missing n whats not. So acc to my friend, they'd rather pay u than release ur package to u for fear that there will be a lawsuit filed for missing items. They dont touch it, they dont repckg it. They let it sit there till 5 months r up n then theyll auction it. AND NO ONE WILL EVER ADMIT TO YOU THAT THEY HAD THE PACKAGE BUT IT WAS DAMAGED. Thats what p***** me off. Im willing to sign a waiver for the box n take it with me as is, but atleast tell me you have it. This Jennifer simply said they found 4 lost boxes n none of them r mine. I call bulls***. They lose thousands of packages on a daily n they only look in the lost n found section, not the damaged section. So the investigation is bogus. She makes a call from Virginia n relies on some incompetent lazy worker to tell her that he looked everywhere in that 25000 sq ft facility for that one box n couldnt find it. And she relays that info to me. No hard work done n im sitting here going into serious anxiety n depression thinking about it.

Now im trying to get in touch with Corporate n the media ..anyone who can help me get my box out. All 6 boxes came together in one trailer the whole way . I know my 6th box did too. They just never scanned it because it was damaged n no one will touch it so no one will know its there. Im lucky enough to atleast know that much. I feel bad for those who wont even get that far n will eventually quit after relying on those fools sitting at customer service to just tell them that their package disappeared into thin air. Ridiculous. Do not use UPS. They only try to save their a** n if it means compromising your property, they will do just that.

They've closed my case with absolutely no closure to me other than that they dont have it. When asked what couldve possibly happened, they blamed the CBP for mishandling labels on the box when it first arrived on the border. How ridiculous is that story? Theyll say anything but admit that they messed up. And being a person who suffers from anxiety and chronic depression, UPS has done nothing short of giving me grievances.

I just want my box back. No money can replace the emotional value of the contents in that box. My wedding dresses are in there and they were custom made from abroad. I am currently living on 2 months of clothes (some that I brought with me and others that I bought here). Im running out of options. Plz help me!

UPS delivery

I receive packages from UPS a lot. They never ask for a signature and sometimes don't even ring the doorbell. Well today I was waiting for a large package delivery and wanted it to be put in my garage instead of left on my porch as usual. So I happened to be home and he did ring my doorbell but by the time I got out he was driving off. He stopped further down the street so I went and met him and asked if he could put the package in my garage. He would not answer me or even look at me but his actions were of annoyance and aggravation. He got back in his seat and drove off at a high rate of speed for this neighborhood. He came back the same way speeding. He got out of his truck with the dolly and proceeded to put the packages in my garage for me since it was too heavy for me to lift. He never said a word and just handed me the machine to sign. It was really scary. Are they suppose to get a signature if someone is home?
This type of service is really inappropriate and they do not have a complaint department.

You are not his only delivery. I wish you would get a job at UPS and see just how much those drivers are expected to do in 9 hours. They do not have time to dilly dally. As for putting it in your garage, that was nice since they are not required to do so. They ring the bell to let you know you have a delivery, not to wait around and chit chat.
