4 fake tickets for nos alive
I bought four tickets for the price of 506, 51 for the concert of Depeche Mode at Festival Nos Alive on 8th July 2017. The price is very high but the problem is not only this, but also that the four tickets were fake, and there were dozens of people with the same problem coming from all over the world. I tried to contact the company by phone but it seems that there is not possible. I sent an email from my account and received a confirmation on my email box that viagogo will answer asap. I am waiting to receive the money back asap.
Thanks
Silvana Mone
tickets for london 2017
The basic principles of contract law require that for a contract (either written or otherwise) to be valid an offer has to be made (by the supplier) and accepted (by the customer).
I bought these tickets from the Viagogo site in good faith. The price quoted (the offer) was £89.76 per ticket. There was no information to say the price I would pay would be any more than this. Once I confirmed the purchase the price increased to £700. I never accepted an offer to pay £700.
The tickets are a birthday present for my husband. They arrived today in the name of Mr David Bishop. I cannot give these as a present to my husband. I did not agree to purchase tickets in someone else's name.
The face value of each ticket is £18.29. The markup is morally criminal if not legally criminal. I have listed the ticket for re-sale on the viagogo site and purchased different tickets for a fraction of the price in my own name.
The sale price is £538.56.
As the contract is not valid and the tickets are not fit for purpose. How do I request a full refund of the price I paid (£700)?
Similar complaints elsewhere-price not including fees, fair enough, but for those fees to be added, then charged to your card WITHOUT a review is surely criminal if not downright disho eat.How do viagogo operate without censure, will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!
scam ticket sold
To whom so ever it concerns just to let you all know our Cold Play Experience was entirely ruined. I have traveled all the way from Dubai to Frankfurt for this experience and thanks to you'll I did not get to enter as they said your ticket is INVALID because it has been sold twice. I was waiting for 2hrs with the crap ticket you'll sent me and they did not allow me to enter. I have been sooo disappointed and disgusted by this experience that I NEVER recommend you'll to anyone and never in my life will ever book with you'll again. Why did you'll do this? Don't you'll know that people have invested time, money an energy to plan this and all gone in vain! I have lost so much of money and this is completely unacceptable.
I want my complete refund anyhow and this has already costed me a fortune to travel from dubai to Frankfurt. I need a response ASAP.
We had the same experience with six tickets What were your ticket no's If the same I will add you to our case no with the police to build a case against the website

tickets
Hi,
A while ago I bought a Tomorrowland ticket that I now unfortunately can not attend. I checked my ticket status on my account and it had that it was an e ticket and I could on sell it conveniently using the viagogo website. Which I then did. After it sold I was instructed to upload the e ticket when I receive it and it will then be passed onto the new owner. Only a couple of days ago I received an email stating that viagogo had made a mistake and that my ticket was being posted to me (which is not ideal as my account has my Australian address and I am currently in Italy) which I then promptly sent an email explaining that I had sold the ticket and could not receive it in the post and was seeking some advice as of what to do from there, after all I thought I had an e ticket which would be as easy as uploading online. A few days later I received what looked like an automatic email informing me to ensure my address is correct, then the same day I got a random Facebook message from a random person informing me that my ticket had been posted, to which I replied I can't receive it as I am on the other side of the world.
I am extremely angry at how this was handled as it was obvious at the last minute you realised you had stuffed up. And the only thing I can see happening now is the poor person who bought the ticket off me won't be able to receive it and I will be out of pocket whilst a ticket sits in Australia unused. Would be great to see you guys fix this up some how. Not for me, more for the poor person who purchased the ticket off me and probably can't go now.
As I said I did email and explain the situation without a response. Hopefully I get one after this.
Regards,
Kahlia
selling tickets
You sent me an email to say my ticket had sold and to post it to you which I did but you hadn't sold it so I now don't have the opportunity to sell it privately, which I could have done on gumtree, and you say my sale is cancelled and I am due no money. This is outrageous and a complete rip off. I am disgusted and want the money for my ticket!

tickets to mary j blige
On Thursday 6th July I purchased 2 tickets to Mary J Blige at "Kew the Music" on my Ipad. I understood the full price to be £185 per ticket. Whilst going through the process of purchasing the tickets, the pop up box which kept counting down throughout the whole time, covered the top 1/3 of the screen and I couldn't see the details I was typing in clearly. I quit and tried again, the same thing happened, but the price of the tickets was still the same. I went through the process again, navigating around the pop-up box, and never seeing the additional charges until the confirmation of purchase page, which stated that another £126.12 had been added to my bill for VAT purposes.
Firstly, this does not make any sense as VAT is at 20%, and should have been included in the cost of the tickets. Secondly, contrary to what Viagogo claim, there was no mention or statement of the additional charges during any time during the filling in of the forms to purchase the tickets. Thirdly, on the initial page, there was no mention of additional charges.
When I have tried to call the company, there is no way to get through as the support number is set up only to get through to an automated service.
phil collins tickets nottingham arena 22 november
I have been very seriously overcharged (to the point of robbery) for these tickets & want my money back - order [protected] - you deliberately set the clock ticking & constantly reminding me that people were waiting for these tickets - you put me under a lot of stress because of your comments (which I now believe to be untruthful) - although you stated throughout the purchase process it did not include booking fees (these only appeared at the last minute) how can you justify a booking fee that is of greater cost than the actual face value of the ticket - booking fee £149.70 - value of ticket £132?
ticket sales
To whom it may concern, I bought a ticket for the World Darts championship through viagogo on 25/07/2016. I then sold this ticket through Viagogo in December 2016, Viagogo agreed to transfer the money to my paypal account but to date that money has not been transferred. I have been in contact with viagogo through a sales rep on several occasions but still remain unpaid.
The transaction ID is as follows, 1479003
order id [protected] british formula 1 grand prix 2017
To whom this may concern,
I would like to report Viagogo for unclear charges on their website.
I purchased 2 tickets but as I went on to the page it gave me a few minutes to purchase these tickets due to tickets quickly selling out and so had to rush to purchase them.
Once I had put all my details in to the system and pushed purchase it told me that the purchase price was £128 higher than what the tickets were marketed for which by this time the transaction had already been made and I couldn't go back.
After this whole ordeal I went to the page again to see if these extra prices were shown anywhere and they say the price does not include VAT and delivery but then there is no option to actually see how much these charges are so one cant actually see what this price will be until you put your card details in and hit pay.
If I knew these added prices I would NOT have purchased the tickets.
Not only that, but I specifically clicked on the tab requesting the seats be booked together and only found out after I got my confirmation email the booking did not even include seats and these were standing only tickets for an all day event!
selling armin only tickets and payment not received after two months
I purchased Armin Only tickets and sold the tickets on 09/05/2017. The tickets were purchased via Paypal. On the 29/05/2017 I queried the payment and received a mail saying I need to change my payment details, which I did. I still don't understand how I could purchase the tickets via Paypal but not received the funds via Paypal. On 08/06/2017 I queried the payment again. They advised me that it will now take 30days before I can expect the funds. On 03/07/2017 I queried the payment again - it has now been 30 days since 29/05/2017 and still no payment received. I have not received any further feedback to date. It has now been two months since I've sold the tickets. I will NEVER use Viagogo again. I want my money.

take that tickets - 02 - 10th june
my son (who is only 15) bought 2 tickets for the outrageous cost of £289.00 for this concert. Tickets were supposed to be emailed and did not arrive. I am in contact with trading standards, particularly because of my sons age. Please email me back to arrange a refund as this situation is extremely unfair. My son Andrew Thomson was very confused as to why this happened. Please come back to me.
selling tickets
I sold tickets for the Adele concert (2nd July) via Viagogo. I purchased my tickets from Eventim, and at the last minute I was advised by Eventim that my tickets would be a box office collection. Viagogo advised they cant sell tickets this way so cancelled my sale. They also advised if they cant find replacement tickets for the buyer i would be charged. I managed to track down the buyer (facebook) and she advised she had got replacement tickets through Viagogo (as I offered to meet her and give her mine). Then the event was cancelled. Then yesterday I have been charged £282 by Viagogo with no explanation and I cannot get in touch with them, My sale ID number doesnt register with Customer Services automated system so I cannot speak to anybody. I have emailed and sent messages through facebook with no response.
tickets sold with improper information
Hello,
I recently bought three tickets to see Celine Dion with my family on 4th July at AccorHotels Arena in Paris (Order ID 8896809).
I bought the tickets in one purchase, understanding that the three ticket-holders would be sitting together. The confirmation email says the tickets were all seated together - category 3, row 90 (see photo 1).
However, when my family and I - one younger and one elderly - arrived at the venue, we discovered that we were not sitting together.
Two of the seats were in the same block, but not next to each other, and the third was in a completely different part of the stadium (see photo 2). And we were unable to change them.
Naturally I am very disappointed about this. We paid a lot of money (much more than the value of the tickets) and of course we wanted to enjoy the spectacle as a family. We were all sitting alone.
I think it is grossly unfair that you sold me the tickets as three together, AND confirmed in an email that the seats were together, and we only discovered when it was too late that this was not the case.
So I am seeking some form of compensation, ideally for the value of the markup added to the tickets.
I look forward to hearing your response.
Sincerely,
Harvey Wilks

Item: 2 x tom petty and the heartbreakers tickets - general admission
Price paid - £268.40
Price of tickets (printed on ticket) £148.20 total
I purchased two tickets to see tom petty and the heartbreakers in july 2017 and was charge £268.40 for my tickets. I have now found that the face value of the tickets is £148.20, therefore I have paid nearly double the price for the tickets. this is outrageous and I will to take this matter forward. although I appreciate that there might be a small administration fee for tickets I can not and will not accept that this charge is £120.20.
I would advise viagogo to contact me immediately and refund the difference of £120.20.
If I do not receive contact from viagogo I will look to take this matter further and take it to ombudsman of fair trading.
As I can see from previous complaints I am not the only individual to have been misled and financially stung by viagogo.
I shall await your response.

Rebecca
