third party billing
The UK Networks are allowing third parties to bill illegitimately customers on their networks. There are NO safeguards in place for the customer. There are NO opt out options, customer is forced..this is illegal. Customer doesnt subscribe/give permission or authorisation or click on anything...its ALL automated by third parties. It has been going on since 2007 & most people dont even realise. The networks are to blame but they dont take any responsibility at all.
The thieves are ( the networks) & third party setups 'txtnation' 'TAPVIDS' 'ifitness' 'bounce.mobi' & many more setup names
poor customer service and unethical behaviour.
Wrote to Vodafone in September 2014 to cancel my broadband connection.
No response.
Wrote again in January 2015.
Again no response.
I was still paying monthly rental charges despite the fact that the system had been disconnected.
I cancelled my monthly direct order.
I received a response in May from debt collector company Gemini demanding payment of 155.75 euros.
June 2015 I sent letters to both Gemini and Vodafone.
No response from either!
Wrote again in August 2015.
No response except to put me onto Experian bad credit list.
I sent cheque to Vodafone for 155.75 euros.
Response was to remove 29.03 euros from my bank account.
In my January 2015 letter I had enquired about returning the router - no response.
At the start of 2016 I returned by post the router to Vodafone head office in Madrid. No response.
No more harassment from Vodafone, so I thought all was sorted.
June 2016 a letter from ISGF Informes Comerciales SL and two further letters in July and August from Vodafone Madrid now demanding 131, 73 euros. What for? This terrible company is the worst I have had the misfortune to be involved with. Vodafone ignores my letters and only demands money for a service they do not provide and for which I have not been connected since August 2013.
What now?
I think that most people on here seem to agree that Vodafone are more interested in ripping people off than giving anything near a good service! We have been with Vodafone for 6 years and have recently moved, since then it has been a constant nightmare. We are expected to pay 55 euros per month but we only have a decent connection for 1 week, then we are on 'go slow'...we have been told that we can buy 'vacation cards' to top up our GB; what a joke! This 'complaints board' seems to be no use whatsoever...you get to rant but no reply from Vodafone. For a bunch of tax dodgers they have more neck than a giraffe. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
pch lottery scam from usa
I recieved a email from a man from VODAFONE UK and his name is Jamie and he wanted me to pay over $USD31, 5000 to the Inland revenue services in the UK but i wrote back and told him straigh hey buddy knock your scams on the head but i never heard from him again ;
but it would be lovely if he was nabbed by Scotland yard and then taught a very good lesson over never to do it again and even though my email is a hotmail.com email address well try your scams with me and this is curtain time for you who ever you are across the world as the internet is not a money making system and if caught then you are a I.C3 which is Internet crime Unit
total joke!!
Vodafone is the worst company to deal with, their customer service is an absolute joke! I used Vodafone for years and I think it's time to find another and more reputable company. Recently I received a bill and I was shocked when I saw it because the amount was crazy and unreal! I contacted Vodafone right away and asked them to check again because my bill was a total joke! They said they had a new system or something and that they were not able to check anything because they did not had my phone number there! Are you kidding me? I'm not paying anything! They said that I have too pay the bill which was £350 (instead of £80)! Crazy!
signal problems
I had troubles with mobile coverage in my area, that was a real pain in the ### for me. But no big complaints from me, I completely understand that this is, probably, because of a little bit far location. But there are devices called Hiboost repeaters that help to enhance mobile signal. I bought one and now I feel much better. Clear calls. Finally
Yeah, man, completely agree with you. I suffered from the same problem. These f... operators just suck money, not providing good mobile signal quality. I will try this Hiboost. Already read about it. People say it really works and helps to improve mobile signal
credit card transactions
When using my credit card card to purchase products from Vodafone stores in Egypt I was surprised to find that after processing the transaction through the credit card terminal, successfully imputing my pin code & the machine printed out a receipt of a successful transaction and without my permission; the employee in the store started to input my credit card details into his computer, details are; 12 digit card number, expiry month & year, when I objected the store manager came & said either they those details into the system or they cancel the transaction! I had to of course cancel the transaction as Vodafone has no right to force me into submitting my credit card details as long as the transaction was processed, I appreciate looking into this matter and I will also try to raise it though other channels as I believe what Vodafone's doing is wrong!
mobile connection
I have a Vodafone prepaid connection [protected] and I changed the connection to postpaid Super Saver India 65 plan on 16.07.2016 in your Lulu Hyper Market customer service center. But till today (19.07.16) I can't use my phone to make call outward as the sim card is not activated. I am contacting your customer service continuously from that date but nothing happened favorable to me. So please take quick action to solve this problem and do the needful for getting compensation for the fault made from your side.

rude and uncooperative customer service
3 days ago (exactly 4 july 2016) I had an internet bad connection so I called the technical support unit to fix it the employee made a request and told me that he will follow with me tomorrow. Tomorrow came and nothing took place and the problem has been repeated again, so again I called the technical support unit but this time the all as a complete disaster the employee was very rude and uncooperative spoke in a very bad tone always referring that I don't understand in it field and I am not an expert to evaluate the service i'm getting through him and he kept saying e are not an obligatory service meaning that you can simply go cancel the contract instead f solving the problem. After all f hat I told him to make a complain he told me that he made it but when I checked the next day I have been told that there are no complain for me on the system which means that he ignored my request. I made another one but obviously there are a collusion between them and n one called me or even look at my complain. I even went t the company nearest branch but they didn't help and asked me to call the same number and the same team who ignored my complain before
My phone no [protected]
I want first of all a follow up to my complain by even a phone call
I want a punitive action towards this employee
They must make a special number for complains
wrong balance deduction
This is Baki Billa Khan my Vodafone number was+91-[protected], I was a new customer of Vodafone, just had to change my connection Because only the behavior of Vodafone, few days back a call came to me for some chargeable service, then i just cut the call, and the next day I saw Rs 30/- deduct from my main account.I was busy that time .Then one day after I called customer care and told him that incident and requested to cancel that service and refund. But he said balance can not be refunded, he was telling me - this is your mistake, u subscribe that service etc.
I have been using mobile since last 14 years, since nokia3310, this behavior heating me .I feel cheated, then I asked for PORT. Finally, I did not use port also, I just take out Vodafone SIM from my mobile and kept my back pocket and switched new connection operator
i have a small advise to you, Vodafone is a good company, great network, but they should not do this kind of stupid thing, to generate the more Revenue, then you lose the business slowly,
30/-rupees is not important me, the important thing is as a customer I cheated from your company. I leave the connection, its might be no effect will happen to you, but you loose more customer like me

customer service
Have had an issue for a month regarding data usage charges for data I had not used whilst in China. I have repeatedly spoken to customer service advisers trying to speak to a manager, which I have found to be very difficult. Promises of call backs from managers that never happen and when l am able to speak to a manager they say they have taken action that is never followed through. Over £1, 000 was taken from my account when I had been assured the direct debit mandate had been cancelled leaving me with no access to money. I have repeatedly told this issue will be resolved when it has not. Each new manager I speak to tells me the last manager has given me the wrong information. My money has still not been refunded even though I was assured it would be by today and on again calling this morning was promised a call back by a manager at 9am only to receive a text saying now a manager would call me back by the end of the day. This I have heard before. I no longer believe anything this company has to say and can only warn prospective customers to avoid Vodafone like the plague .They are incompetent liars. I was a Vodafone customer for 20 years and have family and friends who are also Vodafone customers. After this disgusting treatment my friends and family are all closing our accounts and moving to other providers.
pay as you go phone
Literally the worst experience I have ever had. I got a pay as you go plan. When I added more money to the phone, they switched the plan so that two weeks of local calls ( 6 calls ) and using the map ( as I used my iPhone for wifi and with whatsapp ) was 80E! I paid the 80 so that I would not have to top off again. When I went in to ask what was going on, they LIED! They said they cannot access any information on their computers...HA. I went to another Vodafone store and they SHOWED me that they CAN access the info. I walk back the the first place and say please look it up and this insane dud..not kidding..starts YELLING at me. I am like, " What is wrong with you? This is my money, not yours!" I ask for a print out of the information and he says he cannot. So I go to his side of the screen to take a picture and he LITERALLY says: :You cannot do that this is Vodafone's information. I say " Um this is my payment information". He starts yelling and jumping up and down...for real..Finally I say " Are you on drugs or something?" He jumps away like a crack addict..really ! I am totally astonished and mutter "Loco". He flips..I run for the door. I go back to store number two, which I just left like 20mins ago, the guy I spoke to is gone and all the guys there are like "No entiendo" so i pull out my trusty google translate and explain what happened and that the other store had it on their computer that they changed my plan to some insane plan. The guy points to the door and says no like Vodafone guarda la porta...OMG. So I say it makes sense that Barcelona would have a transit strike with he MWC is happening so that no other telecom companies can set up shop and sink Vodafone. He says to his buddy "Que dijo ella?" (What did she say?)..So i say, "So you speak English? Super nice!" They scream "BYE!"
service (adsl) that I paid for but did not get!
First of all, we were a happy Vodafone customer for years when we lived in Canet de Mar. We were persuaded to change from Telefonica to Vodafone years before. We were moving to Gelida, on the other side of Barcelona and we went to a Vodafone shop to arrange for a new service to be installed at our new address. The shop (Laitel 32) told us there was no problem with coverage in Gelida and that a transfer of service would take place in six weeks( possibly longer, I do not remember) if we transferred, but suggested that we begin a new contract and the connection would be available in three weeks. The shop clerks were very nice and arranged and verified all of this, signing a contract on December 27, 2014. We gave the company lots of extra time to connect us before we called their three customer service numbers: 123, 22155, and 1444. We actually began calling in early February 2015. The customer service were all very pleasant...at first...and told us that an installer would be with us in five days. Needless to say, no installer appeared. We did receive a router and a smart phone. the router was immediately connected, but the smartphone was neither needed or wanted. It did come in handy when we found the only way of calling customer service was through a Vodafone line. We were paying the Vodafone bills the entire time, they did not stop! After our initial (What we thought were) good results from the customer service operators, we began to become aware that the story was exactly the same result from a list of repeated answers and the actual actions taken from this were exactly the same...nothing. Promises were made again and again and time limits put on the response, but the real response was exactly the same...nothing. Some time in March, we went back to the shop and asked them to verify the contract and addresses, etc. They did this and had confirmation on all of the information. This was the limit of what the shop could possibly do. After a few more weeks giving them a chance to act, we called customer service again. Our reputation must have been flagged as the lines began to be frequently lost and the operators were far less patient and helpful with us. It turns out they were billing us for the use of their phone as well as we were using it (to call customer service) and our contract had not come into force so our "free" mobile service was not in force either. We have (and had) our own mobile phones and did not need or want the brick that we had received from Vodafone and used it only to contact Vodafone customer service. We continued to call Customer services and filed cases: Case: 0001WaADJ92QCDB0-00 - A general complaint covering all Case: 0001WaADJ92Q9KSA-00 - A request for a connection date Case: 0001WaADJ92QCDT9-00 - A request for a reason why our contract was not filled It came as a great surprise that these case numbers seemed to result in no new information or advancing of the case in any way. It was less than useless as the customer service people seemed to get more evasive. At last we had a customer service rep who told us we were not going to get their service because there was no service available on our street! This came after he had told us there was no service in the entire village. I was also told there was NO provider that could connect us! In the middle of March, (having found that the entire street was connected and often with Vodafone!) we went to the public ombudsman from the Barcelona government to (hopefully) get some information on our contract. They were informed, and then informed us, that our old contract had been cancelled on January ninth. Not a word about our new contract or our new bills. Another very interesting element was that they sent photocopies of some of our previous bills from Canet. We had never seen these physical bills ( or any others for years) and, interestingly, they were supposedly sent to an address that did not exist in the village! In case any others have this problem, the address they claimed to send it to was : Atocha 19 - a Street that does not actually exist in Canet de Mar. At this point we felt we had to take action so we approached a lawyer. All we wanted was a phone and internet service that we were promised. The lawyer sent Vodafone a letter. The letter was sent registered and not answered. This covered us to cancel the bank payments to Vodafone. Unfortunately, Vodafone decided they deserved another €90 from us for our cancelling their contract early! We also wanted to reclaim all of the money they had taken from us for no service. We packed up their router and phone and sent them back to Vodafone ( registered) and asked that they return our money paid for no service. They did not answer nor have they done anything for us. The figure is low enough that our lawyer suggested we should not pursue this case as the costs might exceed the results. After some six months of no phone or internet, we spoke to Movistar (Telefonica) and were connected in a few days. The service is just what we wanted and at the same price as Vodafone offered. The Wifi scans shows us that there are any number of Vodafone subscribers nearby. Thus far we have nothing but praise for the Movistar service and look forward to the (soon to come) fibre optic service. Vodafone deserves the publicity for their treatment of us, and so many others. I see there are others who do not receive invoices because it is the habit of Vodafone to pretend to send them to false addresses. At the least, they are indulging in sharp practice. It may be a minor fraud but how many other minor frauds are they committing? We have no complaints about the shop in any way. They were professional and very helpful, but powerless.
harrasment for non payment of inr 200 out of inr1500
My voda postpaid no. [protected] is overcharged several time more than my fixed credit limit.Repeadetely I informed them to suspend my service once my creidit limit reaches but they bill more. 3 months ago they again billed INR 1500 and then suspended my service when I requested to convert it to prepaid after logging a complain they said that you pay INR 200 less and we will adjust it next bill. But next bill again came with addition of previous INR 200 balance. Since last 3 months every frequent day I get a SMS sometime they suspend my services and send reminder mail. I use your service since last 5 year and a never made any default but such type of issue is certainly not acceptable. Can you look into and take necessary action on priority. Or else I will have no option other than switching to other service provider.
excess billing on no. [protected] under plan talk std [protected]@50p
I have my above phone post paid for a long time. I am a senior citizen and a small estate agent operating exclusively in Nerul Area. Normally my bill comes to around 300-400 range. But to my utter surprise the bill No. [protected] for the period 28/09/15 to 27/10/15 came to Rs.2666.46. This sudden spurt is due to inclusion of two isd calls made on 30-09-15 @16.39.41 to a number [protected] for which it was billed Rs.2040/- and again on 8/10 to number [protected] for Rs.50/- a total of Rs.2090/- This two calls are disputed. I immediately contacted Nerul Mobile centre and lodged a complaint. but they have not taken any action and on 30-11-15 they have blocked my outgoing calls. Since this disturbed my business I contacted the nerul center again when they insisted payment I had to therefore make the payment and got my plan changed to prepaid. On 30 Nov. 1st Dec. 2nd Dec and on 3rd Dec I had chat session explaining the whole matter to one Mr. Arav and Namrata but none help me to get the refund of the excess ISD call amount of Rs 2090/- and tax thereof. I finally made complaint to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com on 3rd Dec. 15 which they have not even acknowledged. Sir I have not made any ISD calls from my phone further I opted for [protected]@50p plan. Can u help getting justice to me and get refund the amount I made to pay forcibly. or guide me which authority whom I have to approach to get justice. Thanking you Udayan Gangadharan

Original complaint no - [protected] New complaint on 16.11.15 - [protected] Spoke to priyanka today & she mentioned to send mail to this email id. We are just running around in circles getting in touch with no one who is solving our issue. I hope you realise this is not what is expected out of Vodafone especially treating someone like this who has been your loyal customer since start. We would like to speak to someone from the higher authorities and get this solved asap. Pls call on [protected] at the earliest. Tried placing a complaint on ur social media pages as well, they always say theyll get back to me and till date never ever received a call. Is this the real customer service we should expect from you? Very disappointing and frustrating. UPDATE : On 23rd nov i get a call from an executive who claims he was from the social media complaints department. Are you even serious? This is a serious matter and someone from the higher authorities of customer service dept has to get back to talk to me. What should i talk to someone who doesnt even know anything & believe me, it was the most horrible experience ever. He was so rude, so pathetic, had no idea what customer service is.He should have ideally been in a kiraana shop the way he was talking to me. Still, my problem is unsolved and i am still awaiting a senior person to solve this issue. The problem is to reach these senior guys and their accessibility.
bill dispute
I am using Vodafone number for the past 40 months and converted my old plan to your corporate plan 8 months ago. Mobile number is [protected]. I always believed in your service so i never thought of cross checking any bill with the shared plan. But last month, i got to know that you are not charging any of my bill as per plan designed in VGE_DL_MV_G199. I meant by Implicit benefits. I discussed the matter multiple times with your customer care agent. I raised several complaints about it. I requested them to re check all my previous 8 month bills with shared plan and let me know why this is happening again & again. Lastly, i shared this complain with Hardik Chhabra and he assured me that he had escalated the matter with enquiry no. [protected]. I don't know how you serve your logo "Happy to help". But i am shattered with your service. Shockingly no one is caring about this. Neither Vodafone care nor even appellate authority/ Nodal officer are responding properly. They even closed complain without resolving it. I doubt how they justify their job. I am pretty sure that very soon you will start loosing your customer's confidence, if you are not going to improve your system. deceptive sales practices at company airport locations
Beware of Vodafone Egypt at the Airport locations They seem to follow a culture of customer deception, with half truths, and never give you anything in writing, including your own applications for cell phone lines. The different offers verbally made are never transparently advertised or displayed. All you get is the rude reps' words. They never tell you, however, that what you were encouraged to buy will expire in 30 days and the left over balance will go into Vodafone's pocket no matter how much you paid for what you were falsely & deceptively enticed to buy. Or that you'll end up having to pay the same amount every month, in the form of forced subscription, whether you need the service or not. Complaints to customer service are referred to a, so-called, “complaints Dept” with a promise of a call back within 48 hours, which never happen. Further calls are met with stone walls. All smoke and mirrors. The regulators in Egypt, if they ever exist, are leaving a company that has no regard or concern for business integrity or customer service get its way with reprehensible business practices. The company may care less if its customers go elsewhere with their business when and if they are hit with their deplorable practices because they'll always get no airport arrivals to con into their game. Customer reviews can teach them the lesson they need to learn. I am doing my share. Next time I arrive at an airport in Egypt it'll not be Vodafone that will get my business.
the rep switched the wrong package
When I went to Italy, I came to www.vodafone.ie and asked to help me, because I didn’t want to pay large bills later. I spoke with the online chat agent within 30 minutes and finally he switched the new package. When I was in Italy, I called and used the Internet. But when I returned, I got the huge bill. They mixed something and didn’t switch the correct package, but I need to pay more than $350. Awful.
