My mobile line is not working for 2 days right now and they ask me to wait 3 days more.
Why I am so upset:
Vodafone showed the following in dealing with the issue as:
1. They showed internal miscommunication: as the call center told me that my line is okay and I may have a problem with the phone itself. She told me to switch the phone on and off and use another phone to test the issue. Even after I received the message from the technical support regarding the limit the call- center, the call center still talk about error in the phone.
2. They showed miscommunication with clients (me): they didn’t inform me that I exceed my limit and I have to pay.
3. They have system errors: my bill was 245 QR and my limit is 500 QRs and they are talking about the limit.
4. They are careless: they talk about the line disconnect for 3 days as a normal procedure which I have to accept with no objections.
5. False promises as a supervisor promised to call me but he didn’t.

I`ve a bad connection since one year and i decided to make complaints and already made more than one with no action till now
fake internet 3g usage charged in my bill
VODAFONE has generated the fake internet usage charges of RS 1200 ( 600 MB ) approx in my bill dated 6th March 2014.
My mobile number is [protected] having RS 100 - RENTAL 3G Plan ( with 300 MB of free usage).
Vodafone has put fake internet usage of around 600 MB in the bill as a new strategy to increase its profit through illegal means.
I have not consumed this usage. When I requested to PORT OUT, then I got a call from Vodafone agreeing to provide a waiver of Rs 600 ( 50 % of the excess usage).
They have blocked my number so I cannot make calls to vodafone Gurgaon Customer care number [protected].
They are not answering my mails when i ask for the latest update ( only replying with automated responses that the bill is correct and we cannot revert the charges).
I want a strict action to avoid cheating and fraud to customers by Vodafone.

Just received my bill after having a week in Andorra and I was shocked to see the total amount 430€!
I was expecting my bill to be a little higher than normal but nowhere near as high as this. How come I never receive any information on my arrival in Andorra to say I would be blatantly ripped off to make calls and receive calls?...if Vodafone had of sent me this information then there is no way I would of let this bill get out of hand like this.
I can not afford to pay this amount and now they have cut me off.
Vodafone called me yesterday just before cutting me off and i told them my situation...i was advised to send a lettle of complaint so here it is.

My self Rolland Varghese. I have been using Vodafone 3G internet via a microsim for my iPad.
My Vodafone number is [protected].
I started a connection of 5GB data plan somewhere around Aug 2012. My talk plan was MBB_VOL_850_30d_5GB_3G. For this plan I could use 5GB and if I would cross 5GB I still get the same speed but had to pay for the usage above 5GB.
During Feb 2013 I changed the plan. The talk plan was MBB_C_V_850_30d_5GB_FU_3G.
With this plan if I crossed 5GB I would not be charged extra instead the surfing speed decreases.
I recently shifted to Pune and during the first week of Jan 2014 I visited the Shivranjani Vodafone Store (Ahmedabad, Gujarat) to close my account. I was told I will get the bill after the completion of the cycle, and the connection will be closed within 2 days. What I was not told was that my plan will be reverted to the old plan. Since there were two days left I continued surfing without knowing that my plan has been reverted.
The bill I received is for approx 6000, where as I had expected the normal 950Rs bill. People can imagine the shock I received when I saw that bill. If I would have been told that my plan will be reverted I would have asked what my current usage is?. Or else I would have cancelled my account in another month when I would be in Ahmedabad before the billing cycle ended, If I knew at that moment that my plan was reverted and I had exceeded the usage I would have gone for an additional pack.
Why does not Vodafone provide full information so that a consumer can make an informed choice where both service provider and consumer can benefit. This is the same issue I had with TATA Docomo too a few years ago, but I never imagined that Vodafone would also stoop to the low levels of TATA Docomo.
I have written to the Gujarat Nodal Officer and lets see if I get wierd and unsatisfactory answers from the person in concern.
For all vodafone users ... if you have a postpaid account, never close it. Convert it to prepaid and then let it deactivate on its own.

I am Kamal Gurnani - located in New Delhi. I have been using THIS mobile connection [protected], for over 3 years from VODAFONE Mobile Services Ltd.
On January 9, I reced a SMS, asking me to 'Re-SUBMIT my documents for uninterrupted service'.. This being a working day, I could submit the documents ( PAN card, Voters Card, Photograph, Aadhar card & their CIF form) on Sunday, Jan 12. By this time my OUTGOING facility was SUSPENDED. Two hours after submitting the Documents my IN-COMIMG & OUT-GOING, BOTH WERE BLOCKED.
It has been MORE THAN 13 DAYS and my mobile remains blocked. Can anyone define HARASSMENT better than this ?

After receiving bills of 1000 per month with Telefonica, Vodafone assured me, after analysing our mobile bills that they would reduce our monthly expenditure by half and they would pay the disconnection fee to Telefonica. So, we signed up. Our monthly bills didn't reduce but increased by 500 per month to 1500 per month. We complained, complained and complained but were ignored. No one came into the office to show us how to use the new desk phones that they had installed and they didn't bother to set up our international rates as per our contract. When they finally did, the rates they had quoted were incorrect and they were charging considerably more. Now Vodafone have black listed us and will not take our dispute unless we phone them from a Vodafone phone! Which of course we cannot do as we have now been with Orange for 18 months. Still I get nowhere with Vodafone and our outstanding bill for terminating the contract after 6 months of 1500 per month phone bills! Frustrated to say the least. If anyone has any contact information or knows of a way forward please let us know.

In my Area - Cairo, Nasr City, Rab'aa Al Adaweya square; The 3G connectivity is not working at all. When I drive away a few streets in any direction, the Internet starts working again.
I am trying to port out my number from vodafone to mobinil (another mobile service provider) i had submitted the port out request to mobinil on 27/11/2011 and till today 17/02/2012 i did not get a serious or even professional reply from vodafone about the status of my request.
i had a technical problem. i was mistreated form the customer cervice center and the super visors as well. i made a complaint and no body called me back. they shouted at me with an acceptable way.
I left Vodafone Egypt because, as you say, their customer service is so bad, and YES THEY REFUSE TO OPEN COMPLAINTS, and they keep their backs and PROTECT each other. They are so bad because they are mainly GOVERNMENT owned!

vodafone - unprofessional people with pathetic services & imbecile systems
- Vodafone relationship manager :- It is a non sense completely, there is nothing like a relationship manager, its just about
fooling the customer... as on multiple occasions me & my various colleagues have
experienced it. Sometimes when you call back those numbers for help, they are non
existent...even if you are lucky & you go through, noone will pick up your call...even then if
you are further lucky & someone picks up it won't be before 20-30 Min waiting (which is
much greater than the time taken by there actual call center. And after 30 min when you
convey your problem to them, they wont have any access to anything, they will just make
false promises of Calling back which never happens. (So beware of This Network - My
relationship manager name - Neha)
Cellular Network & connectivity :- It is the most imbecile network once could experience, You go office to home, they will no
where follow you ( So there claim of wherever you go our network follows is a total lie). I can't e
even receive calls in mid of city (Kormanagala) & can't even connect to Internet & there 3 G, i
m paying 1200 INR/ Month for internet only but for no use...because i m not able to call only
so how will i connect to internet. Although i have put multiple service request but no
professional assistance given except some call center executives (who are basically nothing
but intermediate pass guys) who can't solve your issues as they are only trained to talk
(which even they don't do properly).
Complains & Call center :- Most unprofessional People you would ever find behind customer desks are under this
network (Vodafone), they can't talk in common language (Hindi, English) they will make false
promises, Never complete the service request, No proper customer feedback mechanism,
No transparency to customers.
Defaulted Bills & Double Payments :- I have experienced it recently, I have opted for AutoDebit facility from account for paying the
bill, so that i avoid the different clowns sitting here & there behind customers desks. I have
paid the bill on 4th Sept'[protected] INR) which was again charged from my account on 13
Sept'13, When i called back they don't have a clue about it, i have given the payment ID's to
them but there are no solutions given, although i won't leave them, even if i have to go to
Court. In fact in past i have seen it with my colleagues who have been paying forged bills for
years & one day they scrutinized it & shared with vodafone people & than they apologised for
it.
- 3.5 years using Vodafone network unfortunately due to corporate policies otherwise would have changed it years back

Vodafone India is doing a great job, not only in providing better plans but also at par customer service.
After using Vodafone for more than 3 years, I raised a request to switch my Vodafone prepaid number to Postpaid number.
But I guess that was biggest mistake of my life. My service has been *barred since 2nd of August 2013.*
I got my number activated on 27th July 2013. It worked for a week as a postpaid and from then services on the number are barred.
The verification guy came to my home but he found the house locked. He marked the negative verification.
I got a message from Vodafone that you verification has been marked negative. I called the customer care to raise my verification request again.
My request was duly noted by Vodafone but unfortunately from that day verification procedure was not properly conducted again.
I am kept waiting by Vodafone customer care guys in long queue and every time I receive a new case number after long discussions. Even after
talking to senior executives from customer care team I am not been given a proper solution. Every time they say that my verification request has been
submitted again and it will be processed in next 72 hours.
I approached Vodafone Facebook page expecting some real help from them. But same thing happened, request raised and again marked
negative without verification team coming to my office or to my house.
I wrote many mails to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com but I think they do not understand the intensity of the problem I am facing. I got mails in reply that I need to visit Vodafone store.
After waiting for so many days I went to the Vodafone store located in Indirapuram (Ghaziabad) on 18th Aug 2013 but at first they were not ready to help me.
After having a long heated argument they agreed to raise a request for re-verification.
On 19th August, I got to know that my verification is again marked negative. But this time no verification team came to my office or to my house.
I can understand that there can be delay in the process, but I am unable to understand that how can Vodafone halt the service of their existing
customer for around 20 days.
With due respect I just want Vodafone to resume services on my number as soon as possible.
I sincerely request you to please resolve the issue at the earliest. Either start postpaid services on my number or convert it to prepaid at the earliest.

I am one of Vodafone Postpaid customer from last 1 year using Mobile No. [protected]. For internet Rs 98/- per month plan was activated on my connection, but last month on 25/06/2013 I switched to Rs 50/- per month plan in which 300 MB data is provided because my usage for internet is not that much, I have not used more than 250 MB data in lats complete billing cycle. But Vodafone has charged me 258 MB of DATA and Internet charges Rs 515.50/- added to my bill for Internet usage which I have not used over the limit of 300MB. I will pay my Voice Call charges only and will not pay for the Internet Charges. If these Internet Charges not waved off, I will PORT my mobile to any other service provider and will go to consumer forum also. Therefore it si my request to you please sort out this matter.

I have a blackberry using BIS on prepaid. Last night I uploaded a video (249MB) to YouTube and this morning my prepaid balance was zero. I phoned support and was told that eventhough you don't have a dataplan, when using youtube, you don't use BIS, but your prepaid balance at R2/MB. Ludicrous since no-one told me this and I was led to believe, if you don't have a dataplan, you can't use the internet unless it goes via BIS. As a result I'm R400+ out of pocket. And the video was larger than my prepaid balance, so not only have I lost the money, but the video did not upload. Why would I spend R400 on a stupid clip? Can't get the moneyback either because the transaction "went through". Can't believe that companies take advantage like that of consumers.

Before writing this complaint I was going through several other complaints lodged in this website regarding poor network speed and connectivity of vodafone network. So, I feel, it is the fate of all vodafone customers and possibly my complaint will also be ignored by the management of vodafone network as it is done (found no reply on this page by the vodafone authority) for the others. I reside in Haldia, Purba Medinipur District of West Bengal. The speed of the 4G network I am using is very slow particularly during the evening time (from 8 PM till night). It is even slower than any 2G network. I cannot open the web pages and have to wait for long time to have a glimpse of required pages. Sometimes that too becomes impossible and I disconnect and leave the hope of checking and interacting on the web. However, when I had purchased the SIM, initially it had quite a good speed for about 6 months. As the connection growing older, the network provider is being more and more careless about the customer. Seems they are only interested in selling commodities and not in after sale services. Currently I have a connection of other network provider which runs extremely well even during the evening time. If things run in this way all these subscribers will have no option than to choose other network providers for the service. I am really disgusted with the service of vodafone.

Callertune for my number [protected] has been activated by vodafone even though i didn't sent any SMS and deducted 230Rs.If i call customer care they are saying you send an SMS to activate it and they said on 28th of this month we got an sms from vodafone about activation. I didn't got any message or i sent any SMS to vodafone number. I even asked her to cancel caller tune and refund my money they are saying once activated it cannot by give back. I am an average person i don't want any caller tune help me in getting my money back and deactive my caller tune.

Its been over 6 months complaining about the network issue. All i get to hear is Sir Network team will contact you and soon will visit. Now they did visit once but nothing happend. I am fed up with these bills where i dont get to use data properly and still have to pay. This is my last attempt after this will port to some other network.

mobile internet extra usage
Very poor customer satisfaction !
Nobody hears or even want to hear the fact that my mobile internet usage never exceeded 500 MB however VODAFONE insist that I exceeded with 239MB on Jan and 380MB on Feb ... Nonsense!
I always had this headset Android and I always had my mobile conter App working fine and never had such amount of usage per month.
I think i will changer the provider soon to MOBINIL or ETISALAT

no 3g data received on recharge of rs. 249
I made transaction# MHCC2921022200 of Rs. 249 for 3G 1GB data on 15th Feb for my mobile [protected]. The transaction was successful. but data plan has not been activated and no data has been added. When I check the account using *111*2*5# no active data plan or data usage is shown.
I want my money back since my Rs.249 has been wasted. I've repeatedly experienced poor online recharge service from you and completely dissatisfied with you service. Revert back my Rs. 249 ASAP.

mobile internet pundle
on the 2nd of Feb. 2013 i bought the (monthly internet bundle of 2GB) from my network service provider (Vodafone Egypt)
the amount of 90 Egyptian pounds was deducted from my balance immediately & the service stopped working after 2 days & now it is not running at all, , i have zero internet or mobile data access from my mobile.
i tried calling the Vodafone services center more than once and they were of no assistance.. they redirected me to the number 888 which i called more than 10 times & the line was picked up and hung up on my face.
this type of conduct is far from professional & i need your feedback on the situation as soon as possible.. thnx

mobile number portability issue
Hi my name is manoj, I ported from airtel to vodafone. I took the new vodafone sim, and the shopkeeper said it will take one week to activate..., but unfortunately I lost that new vodafone sim with in this one week, mean while my airtel number was blocked after one week, and I lost that new vodafone sim..! Now I don't have a choice!
At that time went to vodafone store to take the new sim via sim exchange by the sim lost policy..! I ask them "if it is possible then only do it! Otherwise don't do it!" they said it is possible! Then I took the new sim on that day..! After taking that sim it was not activated! For that I walked to their store which is located in bellandur (Bangalore) but they are throwing their mistake on my mobile saying that "your mobile is not working"! Finally they said after 5 days that "the sim is not in market status, take the new sim again from our store" I don't know what it means? Finally I understood that vodafone is such a bad n/w..!, really they showed hell on that 5 days! And also they are giving the sims which are not in market status i. E defected sims to customers!
Please don't choose the vodafone network friends!
I already submitted twice but your guys not able to do anything...! And i don't want to waste my time again..! let the complaint be like that only..! let the users to know this issue..! My man motto is that one only...! And i don't want to continue with your network also..! I dropped mail to your customer care thrice, i have the proofs of those mails to show your irresponsible work...! Because even though i told clearly about the problem, , , they didn't listen to my voice...! that's it !

on 9th of november 2012 i purchased vodafone connection ([protected]) with vodafone 3g data card white (imei-[protected]) from go mobile store ( invoice no-[protected]), adreess:A120, main vikas marg shakarpur delhi110092 after due assurance from the guys/sales represntative that it ll be activated next day.but couldnt be activated due to unknown reasons as per the store & the further told for next day again & same result as last one again i approached to them & vodafone store at nirman vihar knowingbthe go mobile have not yet submitted the documents.
both vodafone & go mobile have made it business to to sell their lies.the in convenince what i m facing for this type of service from vodafone & go mobile where should we knock either vodafone door /consumer court.
hoping it to be resolved & taking faster action.
