Vons not allowed to use bathroom

We have been Vons customers for years, Today, September 24, 2018, we were shopping in the Vons store in Imperial Beach. I am in my mid 70's and needed to go to the bathroom. Having shopped there many times i knew that I needed a code to access the facility. A very helpful clerk gave us the code but it did not work. I again ask her about it and she said she would talk to the management. Upon her return she indicated that management had decided to close both rest rooms because they had had vandalism in the past. She seemed embarrassed to tell us this. We had to leave immediately t find another bathroom.

As having been a manager in a complex organization in the past, I am clearly aware that when you have a problem then a solution must be found. Management chose the easiest yet wrong solution. I can be reached at [protected]

Vons customer service

I live in Granada Hills and have been shopping at my local Vons for about 20 years. I am leaving and have begun shopping at Ralph's due to horrible customer service. My complaints began about 6 months ago when everything went down hill. Certain produce was only available periodically. Like packs of prepared stew meat preparations. I cannot get broccolini except in a pre packaged container sometimes. Then there is the meat section. There are several times when no one is behind the counter nor putting meat out. I have stood there ringing the bell several times. When the guy finally came out no apology. He said he was on break. Several times I have gone to the front desk and voiced my dissatisfaction. Still no response.

Now let's discuss the absolutely unreliable so called delivery service. The 1st time I ordered the gentleman was very nice and apologized for being a little late. And my story goes down hill from there. I have tried to place orders for delivery 2 or 3 times since. I am just finishing a wonderful birthday weekend and I wanted to have groceries delivered so I could come home late from being out of town for the weekend. While I was at dinner in Santa Barbara I received a call from the driver saying the truck broke down so he couldn't deliver. I work full time and get to work without excuses. He told me to call customer service. He spoke the number so quickly I had to go on line to get the phone number. So far I have been on hold for more than 35 minutes. Bottom line, If you do not respond I will not return to Vons and will advise my friends of the situation

Vons employee mary benkirane store number 2861

I was checking out at VONS with my two young boys. (Ages 1 and 2) Mary who was not my cashier insulted and harrassed my family and I. I felt attacked and radically profiled. My son was being entertained by a food item while we were checking out. Mary snatched the item from my sons hand. He starts screaming. I took it back from her and handed it back to my son She then talks about my family with her customers saying I have a lot going on, my double stroller was in her way, and other comments about my family to her customer. She then turns around to me and says I need to hand the item that my son has to the cashier if I'm not going to purchase it. I told her very firmly to stay in her own lane. She made it seem like I or my son (1 years old) was going to steel a 1 dollar candy when infact we were still checking out and I bought the item. Mary has no customer service skills. I filed a complaint in the store with one manager. I then called and spoke to another manager who said they have been having problems out of her. Mary had no right to touch my son or take anything out of his hands. Mary also had no right to continue to make comments to me about my son and family, and lastly my family should not be discussed with any other customer. I am a regular weekly shopper at VONS. Something needs to be done. Who snatches anything from a baby especially an employee. Mary should have no costumer service job. She's putting a bad face on the company VONS and causing good customer to not want to shop with VONS. Because of Mary interruptions I was not able to focus on checking and getting my needs met with my cashier.
Mary should not be working at VONS or any customer seveice job.

Vons liquor dept.

You just remodeled store and now it seems your always out of product on shelfs. I have been in three times in the last few weeks looking for Jose Cuervo Silver 1.75 Liter and it has been out. I have brought it to several managers and nothing has been done. They use to have side stacks of all the different 1.75 liter stuff up front but replaced it with a starbucks. I noticed on the back side of the starbucks there would be room to make the side stacks so you wouldn't run out. Also need in meat dept. More help at meat counter and need to make the packs of chicken fajitas again.

Vons price for new york bone in steak

Advertised price is $4.76 per lb. I paid $6.97 per lb. I advised the butcher and he stated the price would adjust at checkout. At checkout, the checkout clerk charged the 6.97 per lb. I showed her the advertised sales price but she wouldn't make the price adjustment, claiming was already discounted. We went back and forth but for some reason she just didn't "get it". I didn't want to continue trying argument as there was a really long line, so I paid and left. I then looked for the store manager but he was serving as a cashier and the line was also very long. Decided best to contact at later time.

Vons customer service on two separate occasions at the same bakersfield, ca location

On the first visit in the complaint, I visited the deli department several months ago and I got the worst attitude any living creature can receive. I usually request my cold cuts to be sliced real thin but not shaven and I usually get two pounds (this way I don't have to visit as much) so I don't have to deal with the attitude and the dirty looks from the workers. To my surprise this guy kept on taking his sweet time to finish what he was doing until the other lady (very sweet) came and helped me. As soon as she took my order he came and helped the other customers. To my surprise while he was giving me his back he kept on talking trash about me and winking my way while whispering code words and laughing. The lady was ignoring him. I saw the whole thing and it was so obvious that it was directed at me. I went and complained to the store manager but I don't know if anything was done. I stopped going there for my shopping needs. Incident #2: Until today when I went there to recycle my CRV recyclables. I have to go inside to the cashiers to cash in the recycling receipts. Prior to this visit I would go to the Customer Service desk until they told me to go to any cashier. Today I stood in the express line to cash in the tickets without buying anything, the cashier was talking to the customer in front of me. He saw that I didn't have anything, just the tickets in my hand to cash in and saw the person behind me unloading his things unto the belt. He started ringing him up and when the customer behind me told him that I was first, he shrugged his shoulders as if there is nothing he can do. When he decided to help me I expected him to apologize or say something or even be nice, he did not say a word and after he gave me the money I told him "an apology would have been nice and would have been accepted". His response was "what did I do?" With an attitude "I didn't do anything" and was arguing with me and giving me attitude as if he was giving me a handout. I told him "you helped the person behind me and you didn't even apologize for your mistake", he kept on arguing and I said "great customer service". I went straight to the manager which was across from his lane. I honestly don't know if they did anything but there is a serious problem with their employees. They, for sure, need extreme training on how to deal with paying descent customers that don't deserve this kind of treatment. We are the reason they have this job and if the employees they are not happy they need to leave their jobs for someone that will appreciate it and be happy to have a job.

Vons ham was bad

I ordered on line for delivery some Eck Virginia ham I ordered 2 Pks of the ham a half a pound each and they were bad . They smelled bad and tasted bad . I would like a credit to my account . The order # is2233502 the date was 9/8/2018 Tracking # 004-van D2. My address is 8600 scholar Lane Apt 1086 Las Vegas 89128.
I have ordered that brand before and I didn't like it then either. I will know better next time not to order Eckridge brand

Vons taylor farms california caesar salad 10.75 oz

Hi,

I just wanted to see if I can get in contact with someone regarding putting the Taylor Farms California Ceasar salad with romaine, radicchio, quinoa, parmesan and walnuts back in stock at the Vons at 3461 West 3rd st, Los Angeles, CA 90020.

The funny thing is I use to buy about 3/4 of those a week but was out of town a good portion in August. I came back to LA this past weekend and they were gone! I think I was buying most of them and I would love to buy them there again instead of having to go to another Vons location.

Vons fair tickets

I went into Vons at 15740 La Forge St Whittier, CA on 9/5/18 at 7:30PM to purchase LA County Fair tickets which are advertised on TV, internet and all over the Store. They said they are unable to print out tickets and the machine to print the tickets is down and they do not know when it will be working.

I asked the clerk if they knew when the machine would be working, they said they had no idea.

This location always has some type of issue with any of the store promotions offered. Since the manager did not seem to care perhaps someone in leadership cares and will look into fixing their machines.

Vons deli sandwich being completely burnt multiple times

Hello, yesterday 09/04/2018, I went to the deli to have a sandwich made. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap, which is a heated sandwich. I was very skeptical about ordering another sandwich from this deli, as my husband and I were just there (although I don't have the exact date of our previous visit), and both of our sandwiches were completely burnt. Lone behold, I arrive back to my office from lunch and my sandwich is yet again burnt. That is now three sandwich totaling at least $20 that were inedible. So I ended up paying for three sandwiches, that I couldn't eat due to being burnt, because the staff in the deli didn't pay attention to my sandwiches, not once but on two separate occasions. I would like a refund for the burn sandwiches I paid for but were unable to eat due to lack of attention by your staff members. It is very disappointing because when cooked correctly, the sandwiches form the deli are amazing. If this issue doesn't get resolved quickly, many people in our small town will not return.

Vons just for u

I have used this program for the past 7 years and found it saves me money. However about 4 months ago, your IT Dept changed the coding on your website and I am no longer able to access it. I got a message that I need to disable cookies which I have done, but still am not able to access your website, This is true for all Macintosh users who use the Safari web browser. Please fix your website so that all customers have access and stop discriminating against Mac users,

Vons vons escondido

I have travel all over to world and seen many bathrooms, but none as bad as the bathrooms at this store . Take the worst gas station toilet and amplify it and that your toilets. This is the market i shop at buf, if i have to use to toilet, i go next door to CVS. Please, please do something.

I have spoken to managers on several occasions, but it does not seem to change. They say they get constant complaints.

It says I have to write 300 words for this to get any attention.

Vons "delivery" order

On 08/24/2018 I had scheduled a grocery delivery for my sisters bachelorette party. I even received email reminders that it would be arriving that day. I never got notification that my order was not coming or running late or behind, I had to call after hours of waiting around for my order meaning the entire party waited around the hotel for food and drinks to arrive instead of enjoying the bachelorette party. As if this wasn't enough, I feel like I got the run around on the phone with my last encounter that day as they told me they would call me back in ten minutes which is when they apparently close. This was a huge inconvenience which ended up costing more time, money and energy than I ever anticipated. Since I don't live near a Vons I am hoping for a check in the amount that I ended up paying for pricey groceries off the strip in Las Vegas to replace this order which totaled $80. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences and least organized set up that I have ever encountered. I am hoping you can make it right so I don't leave with this impression I have of the company currently.

Vons service

I am not going to complain on Vons on foothill. As a matter of fact, I am so grateful that my daughter is working now a store that is running by the manager the way a store should. She had worked at the one on 19th. The manager is only there because only God knows who. Her skills are awful, personality please don't get me started but most of all if your gonna say something at least have the guts to admit to it instead of putting your tail between your legs and hiding . I mean when I broke $80 of Starbucks cups I stepped up and paid, not hide and lie. Thanks to Tim and Michelle for being as weak as you two are also. Hope it made you feel powerful to insult your customers. Like I said thank you to the staff and management team at Vons on foothill in upland. You guys restored my faith.

Vons delivery

Date of Incident- 8/28/2018

Hello,

I placed an order before 1pm had a scheduled delivery from 6-10pm (a 4 hour window) and the driver text me at 9:50pm stating he could not drop off my order. From what I selected and also placing my order before 1pm I was guaranteed my groceries between 6-10pm tonight (same day). I am pregnant and waited up to have these delivered today. I am beyond disappointed about this situation and would like to cancel the entire order and receive a full refund. With false advertisment I will not be shopping with Vons again. People have families to feed.

Vons bakery

I ordered a small cake to bepicjed up for the next day by 11am. I was quoted 9am. Perfect. I went to work and left my work at 11:20am to pick up the cake. I called that morning at 9am to ensure they had my order. I walked to the bakery at 11:25...no one was in sight. I waited 5minutes, still no one there. There was no bell or anything. I walked up to the deli and asked about bakery service, the lady said the baker went to lunch and hopefully she could help find my order... why I wasn't notified about this lunch break, is beyond me. She made it seem like service is discontinued when that person is on lunch. She was kind enough to help me, by this time I have already been here for 10 minutes. She finds my cake but it isn't wrapped/labeled/nothing! She doesn't know what to put it in... can't find a cake box... I'm losing my patience, my lunch time is near over! She tried her best but I finally just say forget it I'll take it like that! She pulls up a tag and rings me in. In walks the "baker" like nothing... the lady helping me is so frantic and helpful but the baker could care less. Needless to say, I spent 20 minutes in the store for a pre ordered cake without a lid. Thank goodness for that other worker and for me being a patient driver or cake would have been everywhere! I will never order cake there again and I will never suggest it to anyone.

Vons store # 2381

Dear dorothy I brandi am under god in oath to only inform you ma'am that it is against the law to have your cashiers scribble in non erasable ink when it comes to any type of recipts to only know this too god says be held against you for breaking your own laws! To wal-mart and costco know you may only use your finger nail and a hilight pen to only be able to come back again! To know this too is that great importance when one is buying hazmat type things to only keep plagues down on their own personal belongings... This is an extreme serious offence to me the consumer and as well as all other victims out there! I don't want to join any "sweepstakes" to one must not have to "sign their soul" to only inform headquarters why all of you too become easily replaced! To please just know I have that god given right to stay unknown for my own personal religous war saftey! I come in peace and am in no way shape or form the threat here! To please once again this too is becoming harrassment no one person must endure all of this hate you have for someone you don't even know! You ma'am must go to your source in the cheating man not me! To know you too will all come and go yet please know you all are attacking the wrong person here!

Vons expired product

I have been shopping at Vons in the city of Fillmore California 93015 and have continued live in finding expired products. Several times now in the dairy section multiple items on the Shelf more than a week expired. I have brought them to the front of the store and advised staff.

The reason I would like to mention this is there is also a large group on social media indicating this problem has been ongoing for some time now and has been brought to the manager's attention. Thank you

Vons staff member

There is a member of the staff at the sand canyon and soledad vons in canyon country california, she is extremely rude and verbally abusive. I have never met anyone so unprofessional and unpleasant in my entire life. Her name is Latishia, I'm not sure if it's spelled exactly but it's close enough. She should not be employed at this or any Vons location. I am offended by how she treats others and having her working there is doing more harm than good. You're paying her to belittle and abuse people. I have talked to many others who feel the same way as I do.
