Walnuts and raw almonds no fresh coconuts
I want to sprouts farmers market today & I want to Ralph's today which I know you guys own also, however I went to look for raw walnuts, I know you had some but they didn't say raw. So i didnt get them and I wanted then bad, at any price.
Secondly I was working for raw coconuts. Ralphs had them but I was $5 each. Vons didn't have any. Sprouts had brand new Ones just put in yesterday for 2.49 each.
And you guys sell " raw almonds "
There not raw, if I eat them I can get very sick. Why are you lying to your customers? Are you trying to get me second purpose?
I am very offended by all this. Expect have someone contact me back explaining all this

This is the second time this same event has happened with this same person. I demand action.
My wife and I came to get groceries at vons as we have for about a year now at this store. and I have been a customer of safeway my whole life.
Our club card didn't work when I was sliding it, she seemed annoyed that I didn't know, and she then had to scan it herself. I then made an error sliding my credit card instead of inserting it for the chip. she then blurted out to my wife in front of everyone else in line, "you need to re-train this one." I told her that she does not say that to me, and that it was very disrespectful. (she laughed, ignored me and said nothing.)
To add to it, this is the (second) time that this exact situation has happened with this same person, about a month before. she said the same thing exactly before, when I made errors inserting my card. she is abusive.
I do not know this person at all. I will not be disrespected or belittled when I come to do business in your store, especially by someone who is a 'supervisor.' outrageous!

Contract employees
I am sending this to you immediately after leaving your Vons in Solana Beach. A Vons I have been shopping at for 30 years as a homeowner and member of this community. I am incensed, insulted, enraged and disappointed. This evening, I felt intimidated by the language and the following of the super that was contaracted to do work at my local Vons, your solana beach store. Not only me but my daughters were subject to their vulgar language while standing in line to check out. The super continually asked me if I worked for Vons. As If that should matter. Then he asked me if I was going to send my video to the city. The poor clerk that I have know for 30 years was the only clerk working. The line was filled with the contract workers, your contracted construction workers were standing in front of my daughters who were buying groceries for comic con. And your contractors were cussing calling other customers in line "[censor]."I have never made a complaint against Vons or anyone before. Being a home owner in solana beach for 30 years I have never been so infuriated or felt so disgusted in our community. Their language was verbal and SEXual harassment in front of female clients, my own daughters, and your own female employees. This is unacceptable, I have never felt disrespected in a store I've supported for the last 30 years. I have video and I am happy to share it at the next City Coucil meeting but I have high expectations for how you'll reconcile this situation.
Vonsclub
I made this card over 4 times and VONS don't have my record or doesn't not exist. Every time I go to VONS I have to made a new card. The cashier told me to wait 2 month for it to be active every time. I tried calling customer service and they do not answer my phone. Have been waiting for 30 miniuntes now. I been going to Ralph's all my life and because it near my house, I decided to try it out. I live in LA near Vermont / 3rd Street. I don't mind shopping at VONS, but every time I have to pay and the VONSCLUB doesn't work, it makes the whole trip to VONS a bad experience just because of the VONSCLUB. I hope you guys fix this problem so other people don't go to VONS of a stupid card. Going to Ralphs
Customer service store #3161
July 18, 2017 2: 45 my cashier Lydia asked for a rain check. Anthony/Antonio came and she told him I want the Strewberry Shortcake Ice Cream raincheck and I did not know the brand name so he walked away and said he will write whatever name he finds.
I want to be certain that I get a raincheck for the actual item that is on sale so I tell him where he can find the exact same ice cream just in chocolate. I said "on the bottom shelf on the left you will see all the same ice creams and there is one that is different that is the brand I want in Strawberry." He came with the wrong ice cream. He then asked me to show him. I am in pain, and limping, but I limp on over there and I show him and this person got an attitude and said "yeah because it's in the wrong place." My response "yes as I said it is the one that does not look like the others." As I limp back to customer service I turn my head to see him laughing on me while giving me dirty looks. Okay, we can chalk that up to cowardice. He asked how many do I want, I said "two, they are on sale 2 for $5.00." He then asked me how much do they cost? I'm thinking why am I doing his job? I respond, they are 2 for $5.00. He caught his third attitude and said "that's all you had to say." Now I can't do this with person anymore. He is nasty, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I yelled him to pick one, not all four. He then asked his co-worker to come and fill out the raincheck, he isn't dealing with this anymore. He swatted his hand at me, and yes I did feel threatened at that point being that I am in pain can barley stand up without leaning on something. He said three times he is not dealing with that. I am a human not a that. I told him if he is not able to deal with customer service issues then he should not work for VONS. He called Kimberly over to finish the task that he was not able to do.
The truth is VONS this store #3161 has gone down hill and continues to go down hill. Your Managers and employees use the store as a playing field to gossip about their personal lives and they make fun of customers, and get attitudes if the customer is confused.
I have been shopping at this store local since 1980. When ever I am in town I run errands for dad and his neighbor and I see it getting worse and worse. I have gotten in the habit of driving as far as Tarzana where I live to shop at the VONS there or any other VONS except this one.
You should teach your employees how to do their jobs with pride and that the customer is not expected to do their work because they are to lazy to walk over to the frozen foods and get the information needed to fill out a raincheck. All of the floor employees are customer service and when you walk away from a customer and say you aren't going to deal with that, you might as well walk away form the job. Eventually people will realize they have options and stop shopping VONS. If VONS has no customers then you really have no need for Anthony/Anthonio and that is a lesson that he also needs to be made clear of. His paycheck, the money he deposits into his bank account did not magically appear, it is made available due to sales. Sales made by customers make purchases. No customers, no paychecks.
Customer service
The manager Cam Huynh at Vons on National & Manning is beyond RUDE! I have had to stop shopping there due to her yelling at employees and customers. I have been in the customer service industry and that is not how one should conduct one self. I find it offensive for me a customer to have to watch an employee being scolded in front of other employees as well as customers. She can never smile at customers and always has an angry face, not what we customers want to see. The overall attitude from other employees has gone down since she has been there, I would go there dispite the prices just because the employees had such a great attitude. I could be having the worst day I would go in there and it would make it okay now with Cam there the moral has hit an all time LOW. Not good for business. Thank you for your time.
Starbucks employee
I go every other day to buy teas and frappucinos and all Starbucks employees are great except for one, Her name is Leticia and every time I go she is always in a bad mood and rude. It seems like it bothers her to make my drinks. I have try to be polite and tell her thanks when she gives me my drinks but she almost slams my coffee in the counter and walks away. Her quality in customer service is extreamly poor. I sometimes don't event want to buy the drinks when she's there, but why should a customer feel that way. When I am making paying for my drinks. So I truly hope things do change, because if they don't then I would just have to take money somewhere else.
P.s I am not the only one that has experienced this rudeness from this worker.

Low cashier levels at peak periods
Friday 6 p.m. July 14th 2017, the Vons at 2433 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001, had only 3 cashiers with customer lines over 5 deep. Please staff better for peak times. The supervisor was handing out $1.00 coupons with 3 or more on them for the inconvenience. What is so annoying is that there was the Surf Rodeo this weekend which they knew about for several weeks prior. It is like this all the time at this Vons!
Every day of the week at this peak time they never have enough cashiers. I am beginning to wonder if this is a corporate issue in the treatment of their employees.
0239299 vons home delivery truck
I was threatened by one of your driver's poor driving in a Von's home delivery truck. He is a white male driver clean cut light brown hair in his mid-to-late 30s at about 7 p.m. Wednesday July, 12th. We were driving from 163 South transitioning to Interstate 8 West when encroached in my lane and would not yield. He behaved like a road rage driver. He tried to squeeze other cars out of the way to turn west on the ramp at the last minute. Please speak to him about his unsafe driving before he hurts himself or someone else. Especially in a truck. I had a car on my right and him on my left and he would not yield when I was honking my horn. I thought at first he did not see me or hear me but quickly realized he did and kept turning into me regardless. It was near miss for sure. I tried to get the truck number and I'm pretty sure it was 0239299 from my cell camera phone. He was probably heading to the Vons on Midway drive at the end of his day. I hold a commercial driver's license myself and have no tickets or accidents and have been driving for 45 years. This is unacceptable behavior and I'm sure he would have been cited for the behavior.
Lack of support in the cashier department.
There's always seems to be 2 cashiers working at this location and I dread everytune I have to stop by.
It took me over 20 minutes to check out my 5 items because there was only 2 cashiers.
I have a time stamp on the picture I am attaching with my receipt if you would like to see how long it took.
If this keeps up, u would have to take my business elsewhere.
Security
Hello, I am a local customer at the vons located in Liberty Station. I go to this location frequently, but last night (July 6th, 2017) around 9:00pm I noticed that the security guard who does night shifts was following me around and getting in my face a bit. He has dark skin and looks to be Nigerian or something similar. I would like to make it clear that I have and never will steal anything from here, and I am always very polite to the staff. I have also never talked to this man nor done anything to make him behave in this way. This security guard following me right on my tail when I was simply buying a bag of chips was very threatening and I don't think I should feel threatened by somebody that is supposed to be there to protect people. I would appreciate it if you would remove him from the position. I will be talking to the manager and will call 911 if it happens again. I was at the VONS on Topanga and Roscoe in Canoga Park. I went to the deli at
745pm. I was told that the deli was already closed. So I went to speak to the manager. And I had advised her that I was not getting service at the deli.
She walked overy to find out what was going on and told the girl to help me.
The situation was the person who was to be working the deli had called in sick. And the girl was just cleaning and trying to finish her shift.
1. Why would a manager of the store not know that the deli person called Inot and she needed to pull someone to assist that poor girl so she can finish her shift. My opinion is a manager should know where she or he are short staffed so they can jump in. Or have someone who knows take over.
2. That girl was already on overtime. And it wasn't right for her to turn customers away. But the manager should have been there for support before I went to complain
Harassment and bad customer service
I was in Vons at Windmill parkway 89074, getting my grocery then was 2 items was the wrong price in my receipts, I went customer service but they close at 8 pm so I asked where I can get adj to the price, they advice me to go back in line which I did, when I said this items was wrong price she asked for my receipts to verify the price, then the cashier asked me if I bought 4 items which I indicate please look to the receipt in your hand to verify... Oh my god I just said that and she turn on me like women lost her mind start scream at me and yelling in the middle of the store I was so scared because I am old women comparing to that around late 20 I asked her to stop talking to me and please call the manager which she took the item and through out in my basket which I was scared to hit me with it I went to the store 2nd day to ask in the manager can review the tape for surveillance to see her body language and also the way throw the item in my basket, the manager do not nothing for me I called the 800 they give me then another person called me then when I asked where the address for corporate office they refused to give me and said go google it. Shame on you van's for the way you treat people just because they asked to correct the price please verify your receipts customer
Refused to let me in during posted hours of operation
The closing manager did not allow me to make a quick purchase within the last minutes of the posted hours of operation. He said no and that they were closed 5 minutes earlier than the posted time. On Wednesday July 5th 2017. This city is very small and there are no more grocery stores open, I was only getting a few items and he showed no empathy although he refused me as a customer within the posted time! I just got off work there's nothing else open. I'm extremely upset disappointed and hungry, I needed fruit and vegetable items that I can't buy anywhere but the grocery store.
Registers
I've been going to Vons in Manhattan Beach for years, I understand having only two registers open at a time on week days but only 3 on weekends ? I go with my family for our weekly grocery trip. And the lines are backed up into the aisles, I have to ask customers to move so I can get into your frozen food section. Im a very patient person but this is every weekend. I find it unfair to your loyal customers. And sometimes a young man with curly hair is being very loud and obnoxious, but he is very polite .
Vons truck driver
Was merging on to the 71 free way, like a zipper fashion and one of your drivers was trying to push us out and off the road. Truck number 50999. Number on back of his cab was 0818. While we were meeting he was constantly pushing forward and blocking our entry. We were trying to merge as a normal human being would where this truck driver decided to squeeze us and then blare his horn at us like we were doing something wrong
Cake slices
I've been a loyal shopper since 1972 in Huntington Beach, Ca. Even through the strike ! But I've become annoyed with several things such as the huge discrepancy of pricing on many items. There is often a $ 1.50- $2.50. difference on items, boxed baking items in particular. Yesterday, I stopped after we went out to dinner at the Edinger store in Huntington Beach for some dessert and bought two sliced squares of strawberry topped vanilla cake. I have bought them many times and know how they Should taste but something was terribly wrong with them. They were soaken wet and inedible. The cake seemed like it had sat in a puddle of water . After one bite, we were not able to eat another. They were horrific. I don't know what they soaked up but if I didn't know better I'd say they were drenched in water as if it was a sponge.It was not that they had pudding between the layers, the cake layers were a completely soggy mess. No one would feel like going back to the store late evening and I had to go to work early in the morning. I wouldn't be able to return them til the weekend and I didn't care to hold onto them until then. So into the garbage that went.Mostly I'm annoyed and want an explanation and compensation. Lu chocolate biscuit
Hello! I just went to Vons in the Pacific Palisades in California and I bought the LU Petit ecolier 45% cocoa cookies. I never get them but I thought I deserved it because I worked out a lot. When I went into my car after paying, I immediately opened them because i was so excited and they were all stuck together and melted and white. Chocolate is brown. (it wasnt white chocolate). This usually means they are old and I couldnt even eat them. I never would complain about this but it was just really bad.
Bakery
I ordered cupcakes for an autism clinic a week in advanced. They were a special order and airbrushed. I ordered two dozen and had an employee pick them up. They only provided her with one dozen. When I called the bakery, I spoke with Daniel who was extremely rude. I explained to him that the event was in an hour and we were missing half the cupcakes. He indicated that there were no cupcakes available to come in the NEXT DAY! When I asked to speak to a manager he also indicated that I would have to wait an entire day. I asked for a manager again and he laughed and hung up. I then went into the store and had to wait 20 mins to speak with the manager Holla. When I told her the customer service at her location was unacceptable, she walked away. I never received the full order of cupcakes for the autism clinic.
Poor customer service
I was at vons in ventura at 8pm on 6/15/2017 and had to wait again because there was only one express check out open and tons of people in the store. The woman who was in the express check out had no business being in the express lane as she had two transactions and several welfare checks she was using to get her groceries. I asked the cashier if there was anyone else who could go to another express lane and she looked around and said lane 4 was not very busy and I could go there. That is not the point. And there were two people in that line buying a substantial amount of groceries. My husband and I have contacted vons several times about the slow customer service and general bad service from the employees at this location. We will not be giving vons any more business. If vons does not want to put their customers first then I don't need to shop there. The cashier said she was sorry but don't you think you should provide awesome customer service by having enough cashiers and baggers before customers get disgusted and complain and leave the store very unhappy? What a concept!
