I am a regular shopper at walgreens but never again, I parked at their store on eastern avenue and was towed. The towing signs where small and infrequent, I had only been there at the most 30 mins and they have the car towed, the car park was nearly empty. The store must spend all their time watching for cars.It cost $300 to get my car back.I can understand your policy if the car park was full, which it never is, or my car had been parked there for more than 1 hour.I will never spend a dime at Walgreens again and will tell everyone who will listens about your petty towing policy.

What was the exact reason for towing?
"The towing signs where small and infrequent"
What do you mean by "infrequent"? Do the signs at this Walgreens just mysteriously come and go?
Is it a common practice for you to park at places of business you're not doing business?
I doubt Walgreens would waste their time watching for violators, but the tow trucks sure will. That's money in their pocket.
You parked illegally and its walgreens fault? Grow up.
I soooooo agree we were at the Walgreens in Chicago over the weekend and had a similar nightmare. We had stopped at what we had thought was that friendly neighborhood Walgreens at 641 N.Clark in Chicago...not so friendly...they would rather have you towed than tell you of their towing policies...two signs read one way, two another! We had made a purchase in their store, they watched walk across the street to use the restroom and grab lunch to go, to come back and find our car had been towed within minutes!...guess we got a bargain at only 200.00 and a 20.00 cab ride across town to the hood district! However I have had conversations with a store manager and assistant district manager why they would associate themselves with a towing company that doesn't have consistent signs and that would give you a sense of being a valued customer! Definitely not the case...its not the Walgreens my grandparents and parents knew...so much for honesty, integrity, and being a valued customer!
So you park in one business and walk to another? You park in a lot that has SIGNS POSTED and ignore them? This is one of highest traffic corners in downtown Chicago and you do this? Shouldn't Walgreens be complaining about YOU?
