my son arrested because greeter asked not to do her job by management.
My son stole a few DVDs and Pokemon and placed it in his backpack. The greeter who was supposed to check his backpack after the security alarm went off was told by manager and LP not to check his bag because they were going to arrest him for shoplifting. Had the greeter been allowed to do her job my so would have returned the stolen DVD"S and Pokemon cards and confessed. Instead he was set up and not given the chance to correct his mistake. Let me tell you my son is ten years old and if he had been stopped by the greeter he would have returned the stolen DVDs and cards and apologized. I yelled at him when he got home, but it seems like LP gets paid for every shoplifter they catch. That is why my son was not given the chance to correct his mistake. I allowed him to look around while I was shopping. The employee who saw him stealing did not say anything to me. If she did then I would have made him return stolen DVD and cards.
Not happy with what my son has done but also not happy with how it was handled. Basically he was not given a choice to correct his wrongdoing which is what this is about.
foxfyre, I did teach him to to steal, children don't always listen to us, and make mistakes. Instead of telling management of my actions they should have told me.
DS you may know how to read, but you obviusly don't know how to make sense of what your read. None of you are seeing the point of this letter and the point is that the greeter nor any employee did tell me about my son's stealing so I could tell him to return the items. HE WAS NOT GIVING A CHANCE TO CORRECT HIS MISTAKE. Jim you have way more posts than me it is you who spend all day on the computerm I wrote a few comments, why don't you watch your children instead of spending alld ay online.
Gamby it is obvious you did not read, I did teach my son stealing is wrong, he just made a poor choice that day. You obviously don't have children because you can teach them something and they still disobey, and HE WAS PUNISHED for it. I seem to have to write in caps to help you read better. What are you 12 years old? It is obvious he did not have the money.
Ellen she is not a teacher so she does not need to correct his mistake in math, she needed to tell him to empty his bag, and don't jump to conclusions if they had checked his bag and he had things in it which were stolen I would NOT be complaining his rights are violated because when he steals he deserves to have his bag searched. My gosh you must all be 11 years old not to understand what you read.
Lots of illeterate people out there, I let him look around because the shopping I did was boring to him. He was still in the store you people act like I left him alone and went home. LEARN TO READ.
DSgamby
Do you not know how to read. The alarm DID go off. The greeter was told to do nothing about it. I have taught my son stealing is wrong. Learn to read idiot. Learn to spell it is gameboy.
Brenda
My son never had the chance to correct his mistake, like I told that idiot Zachary, and that Idiot DSgamby, he was never given the cance to correct his mistake.
Okay all of you have obviously not read my letter so let me explain this to you like you are all nine years old.
Molliewollie
What job exactely did you want me to do?
TwinkleTwinkle
I know that he could not be arrested for shoplifting till he actually left the store. This is what this complaint is about. The fact that he was not giving the chance to correct the mistake, nor the fact that none of the employees told me he was stealing when one of them must have sawn him. Parenting should be up to me not security or the manager. If I had known he stole items I would have made him return them.
IrishChick
Bad Parenting? Just because I don't beat my child does not mean bad parenting. I have yelled at him when I got home. Grounded him ect. I have punished him. Too bad it does not match your style of parenting.
Colorado1960
Yes I am blaming the greeter for not doing her job and checking the backpack. If she had done her job AFTER THE DAM ALARM went off he would have been forced to put the items back.
Zachary1998
My son has not EVER done this before. Be careful what you accuse people of before you end up charged with slander. Yes people do not take responsibility for their actions. The greeter did not do her job by checking my son's bag when the alarm went off. I am angry that he got caught, because one of the employees could have told me that he was stealing in the first place and I could have had the chance to correct what my son did. He knows he was wrong, and so do I. If you were not so stupid and got your head out of your ### you would know that my son was looking around while I was shopping. Learn to read idiot.
All of you need to learn how to read and comprehend what you read. I am not mad that my son was caught. I am mad that I was not aware of the stealing till after the fact that it happened and that neither my son nor I could correct our mistakes.

loss of watch pin
I went to wal-mart to have a watch band adjusted on a watch that i bought at a wal-mart the day before. the associate lost one of the pins and they did not have a pin to replace it so they put a different band on the watch then charged me 14.98 cents for it. i think since they lost the pin they should have given me the new band at no cost or at least a discount on it . it wasn't my fault the associate lost the pin i guess i'm never going to shop at the Columbia City wal-mart anymore until they fix some of the problems that they have there!

treatment of employee
I had been working for walmart for close to 3 years.I was a supervisor that really didnt get the support or backing from the ###. managers. When i needed them to back me with the crew i was running .The ###. managers would always put it on the next manager on shift. I would be cussed out, it was be my word agianst theirs, The manager that dealt with this problem did not support me at all.I was threatened by the one crew member .I felt that if i took it to manager they would not do anything about it anyway, Their to busy trying to meet deadlines, time limits, quotas etc.to care about anything or anyone else. The last day i was there, i had a manager tell me over the walkie (EVERYONE WITH A WALKIE HEARD THIS)'The trailer better be done in 20 min or its going to get ugly"Then same night was asked by a different manager, "how the backroom was coming along."To which i responded, "I'ts coming but you will not like it" I was then told if i wanted to say things like that to call the man. on their ext and to keep it positive over the walkie, by the co -manager.Now mind you the co-man was there when i was told things would get ugly if the trailer wasnt done. There have been other incidents that are too many to mention on here that basically sum up contradiction after contradiction...Dont even get me started on favoritism in the work place. favortism was suppose to be not tolorated .Let me tell you this was used with the managers..so work there for a couple of years and let us know how things are going.
bad service, potential blindness
Walmart vision center is the worst! I am very easy to get along with, but these people are terrible. I suppose I should have known, after all it is walmart. The sad thing is that they run real eye care centers out of business, only to give you the worst service ever. This is in jefferson city, tn.
I ordered new glasses from them. They acted annoyed when I called 2 weeks later to see if they were in, despite the fact that they said 7-10 days. Further, they kept my old frames at the store, presumably because they were too lazy to put the lens back in. I didn't expect them to take this long, so I left them at the store per their request. Little did I know that I couldn't get them back! Well, I guess I could, but i'd have to stand in line at least an hour, likely much more. I've tried a couple times, but get frustrated after a half hour of waiting in line to do a 30 second 'transaction'. Their two employees slloowwwllly take the next person out of the line and go slooowwlly fiddle with them. There should be one person at the counter at all times to do quick transacations. Instead, you get in a situation where the line is perpetually backed up. Anyone with a job, or a life in general, isn't going to have the time to stand in that darn line. The frustrating thing is how much faster the line could go if they just attended to the 'quickies' while they were fiddling with those people who needed more elaborate things.
I should have known... The only thing worse than the vision care center is the automotive center, where you can watch these people move slower than you've ever seen anyone move. The last time (Ever) I used them I sat with a guy who had a very simple flat tire repair that would have taken 5 minutes anywhere else. It took 1.5 hours and he was still there when I left (I gave up and cancelled the remainder of things they were doing to my car). Worst is that they screwed up one of the darn air pressure sensors by hitting it on their tire balancer. Again, the frustrating part is how much quicker it could go. It isn't like they were even overwhelmed, they just din't care.
Stay away from walmart. Ugh. Terrible. I may literally be blind by the time I get my glasses back, or get my new ones in. Wearing contacts so much has been very detrimental to my eyes, causing considerable pain and just a bad feeling in my eyes. They should be sued.
UPDATE: Well, I called again and they finally did get my glasses in. I am pretty sure they got them yesterday but were too busy to bother calling me. During the fitting I noticed the lady didn't know how to operate the device they use to measure something .. seems like it measures the center of your vision or direction of eyes, I dunno. If it were placed right my eyes should have been equal, but it was all messed up and I know it was off. It didn't really occur to me until I later thought about it.
Of course, they are supposed to be open until 7, but they said they close at 6. If I manage to find a way up there (wife has the car) then maybe in 2 hours I can get through the line and get my glasses. Boy they acted pissed when I called and asked to see if my glasses were in, but there is NO WAY I was going to wait for them to call me given how 'busy' they are in their slowness. The proof is that they WERE THERE when I called here at nearly 4pm, but nobody had called me -- showing just how important this is to them, despite me telling them the other day I really needed my glasses.
Terrible people, unprofessional. They are not qualified to work in a vision care center, it is really as simple as that. I don't know who manages the vision care center, but they should actually manage it.. make it work efficiently. Maybe the same person manages it as the aforementioned automotive center. I forgot to mention, that day when they took so long on my simple balance and rotation and another customers's flat tire -- we were the ONLY people there. Yep, these people move THAT slow.
Apathy. Incompetence. That sums it up.

This review is so funny! He doesn't like to wait, wants to be pushed ahead of other people in line, wants opticians to ring people out while doing adjustments with other patients, and claims that he may be 'blind' by the time his glasses get back. If you don't have the time to wait, go somewhere and pay 4 times as much so you can save five minutes. Impatience. Ignorance. That sums it up.
Stop overwearing your contacts
First...The people that work in the vision center are opticians, NOT cashiers. There are several registers that are open to handle "quick transactions". Second... Leaving your glasses is the patients decision, not the opticians. The only time it is completely necessary to leave your frames is if the glasses are safety glasses, or if you are ordering glass lenses. As for the opticians that "slooowwlly fiddle" with some people... if it were your turn, and you needed something "elaborate", I'm sure that you would appreciate being paid attention to what you needed, and not leaving you standing there, while they were " fiddling around", and "attending to the quickies".
your burewala staff behave is very bad the maneger of the sevice shose behave very bad
they stole my money and lied to me
On March 25, 2009, I purchased a WalMart MoneyCard (Green Dot Visa Prepaid Card) from the WalMart store located in Hanover, MA (Store #5380), phone [protected] . They took my money and supposedly put it on the card for my use once I called or went online and provided an activiation number from my receipt. Please note, WalMart charges a premium to purchase the card in addition to the amount of money they take from you and SUPPOSEDLY put on the card for your use. I immediately called the [protected] number on the WalMart receipt and went through a series of personal identification questions through an automated attendant. After having given my name, date of birth, social security number, home address, PO Box, among other personal identity information, I was then greeted by a human voice with a heavy foreign accent. He informed me that he was UNABLE to verify my name and social security number and was therefore UNABLE to activate the card. Please note, WalMart covers their a$$e$ by stating on the receipt "no instore refunds available." It was SO obvious to me at that point that this was a scam and that I would never see my money again! The foreign voice told me that he could at least activate the card for the amount of money that I had paid to put on it only and that a personalized card would not be sent to me. I thought, ok. That's fine. I'll just go spend it now to make sure I get my money back. I had to make another purchase, so the very next purchase I maid, I tried to use the card and guess what? IT WAS DECLINED! Surprised? I wasn't. I KNEW based on the total BS I was given by the forein operator that this was a SCAM! However, I was STEAMING as this was the last bit of money I had until I got paid again 2 weeks from 3/25 so called the phone number on the back of the prepaid visa card [protected] several times...each time speaking with from what it sounded, the same foreign female voice. She kept telling me that they couldn't activate the card and that they would send me a refund check in the mail to my PO Box within 7 to 10 business days. I was LIVID to say the least. I called the WalMart store and they kept reiterating "NO INSTORE REFUNDS." I've called every number made available on the card, the receipt, to the WalMart store everyday that there was NO check in my PO Box. It is now April 12, 2009; 19 days later and I still haven't received a refund check. I've had my attorney call the numbers as well and even he wasn't succeful in getting through to a human to speak with. All of the numbers that were provided other than the WalMart store who takes NO responsiblity for the SCAM are all automated and you cannot get through to any 'human'! I'm so disheartened to think that such a supposedly reputable Company such as WalMart would allow this to happen to consumers. I subsequently googled "WalMart MoneyCard - GreenDot Prepaid Visa" and I couldn't believe all of the complaints I found online that described, verbatim, the very same horrific experience! I don't know what to do about this. Is there someone out there that can expose WalMart, Green Dot, GE Money Bank and VISA for this SCAM on consumers? They're stealing out money...literally stealing out money.
poor service
On 5/23/2011 I went to the opitcal center to order a new lens because the one I had a large scratch on them The lady informed me that only the frame had a warrenty on them. I said that was ok. She said that it would be 50 % off because of just one lens. The lade, which I did not get her name, was middle aged, with blonish short hair and glasses. After measuring several times, she said everything was good and would call when they were ready. Today (5/31/11) I drove the 30 min again to pick them up. She sid they would be ready in about 15 min. After this time, she said they still had the sratch because the lense were too small. They were cut wrong. They would have to be ordered again. Again I will have to drive the 30 min to and from. I asked if I would be compensated for their mistake, she said that is was not the company policy for this, and since I was already getting a discount (only one lens) there was nothing she could do. She kept my recipt. I hope there are no other problems when they come in again. I will let you know this much. This will be the last time I get glasses from Walmart and I will be letting my friends know how I was treated as well. You might want to rethink you policy when You are the one that make the mistake. I did not have anything to do with measuring of the lens.

rude and nasty attitude of one of employees
Me and my mother went there to calhoun, ga to drop off some 'Color Negatives' as i was told that they would be able to make pictures out of it. then i got a call the same night saying they couldn't because they were 'Positives', they are not positives at all just negatives in color they used to exist. anyhow that guy didn't know what he was talking about since i knew that you could. anyhow i went there with my mother to pick them up and encountered 'Charles' a young snotty, smart alec guy that is probably in his 30s talking to my mother like a dog who is in her 60s. she went to school to learn how to develop films. he kept on telling her 'I don't think you know what I'm talking about', when she does. then he showed us in a smart alec manner someone else's private negatives and said see these are the ones we develop from when my mom older than him already knew that. guess his relatives didn't teach him about respect at all, and that it's rude to talk down to a elderly person. i just looked away from this smart alec that i felt like grabbing the pics and naming him names for disrespecting my mother infront of other customers. then i looked at a shelf behind him and he in a smart alec and rude and nasty tone infront of my mom yelled 'Do you have something to say to me or am I just wasting my time talking here'. then i felt like hitting him for being a [protected]@$$ not only to my elderly mother who's lived longer than he has now he was being the same way to me who is disabled. anyhow my mom said no. then after we were done with this p***k we went to get some pictures made and talked amongst us about his really bad attitude. know i see why some americans aren't liked, look at this attitude that he has towards a disabled person and a elderly person. wish he would get fired for this and have to pay some sort of compensation to us in monetary value for his attitude when my mom knew what he was saying and she was also trying to talk to him but she couldn't get a word in edge wise at all. still no apology from him, probably won't since he don't know what respect is at all, wish someone would have taught him that. Anyhow I know nothing will get done to make this right as I know that Wal-Mart don't care about their customers that spent lots of money there they only care about the money as that's what they keep track of on a bunch of computers they have in one center, they track every transaction to see how rich they are getting. it used to be 'The Customer is Always Right', not anymore wish it would be. and Wal-Mart saying that customer satisfaction is their #1 priority is a lie. look at how many people have had problems with walmart on this site alone. So anyhow just wanted to voice my concern about this incident where we were talked to like we were dogs and stupid and not able to understand english, when we can, it's him that don't understand respect for some reason.
The guy knew what he was talking about.
He even showed you negatives and said "see these are the ones we develope."
You gave him developed slide film which looks like a negative but has a positive developement.
His store cannot print pictures from "positives".
You and your mother were ignorant and rude and owe him an apology.
Is there any way to edit this complaint so there are paragraphs and proper punctuation. This is hard to read
could not return dvd
I am a regular coustomer of walmart, I bought a blue ray DVD Dvd not noticing it was not a regular DVD, and tried to return it, was told since I had already opened it, I could only exchange it for a regular DVD of the same title, went to the electronics store and was told, none was available, there were no other copies of this particular movie in the store. I cannot believe how uncoperative everyone was from the electronics dept to coustomer service counter. Walmart has a no return policy as far as I am concerne. I do 50% of my shopping at a dollar store and probably will increase my shopping there. I do not think Walmart is friendly or wllling to help a coustmer out, even on a small item, such as a DVD. God knows I would not want to buy an expensive item, you would get burned.
This is an effort to stop piracy. How do they know you have not burnt the DVD after opening it?
Wal-Mart and many, many other stores practice this return policy due to piracy. It's your fault and you should pay more attention. How could you not notice before you removed the plastic? The boxes are clearly marked. Wal-Mart hasn't done anything wrong and you would be hard-pressed to find another store that wouldn't do the same thing. Bert is right, Wal-Mart has one of the most relaxed return policies.
Does your dollar store sell blu-ray DVDs?
lock you up unless you show your reciept
After having been 'victimized' by the Walmart security system, (we've all heard it beeping when we leave the store with our purchased goods) I'd finally had enough. I promised myself months ago I was not going to be stopped ever again to prove I paid for my merchandise. I don't steal and I don't appreciate having to PROVE myself honest before I can leave...
Read full review of Walmart and 66 commentsgovernment check cashing
I have tried to cash a government check several times at walmart. I keep getting a code 3, I have called your company numerous times, and the only thing that they can tell me is that the name that is being presented is different from the information issued by motor vehicles. I don;t understand why you still have gail l. Wilson as my last name, since I divorced wilson in 1992. I have had the last name of peace-goodman since 1998. My drivers license and check both have the exact same name, and address information. Why is it that your system states something entirely different. This is very embarrasing and frustrating for customers who present the correct information, and yet are not allowed the service as advertised. What is the problem?
it is out of control and needs to stop
I am a devout Christian, family man who is disabled and use (will no longer shop at this store) to shop at Wal-Mart and spend about $300-400 monthly. Before I begin let me say, on the 7APR2K5, I had purchased two Biblical Research Books costing a total of about $60! On the day, 8APR2K5, I went to the store with my wife, son age 6, and daughter age 10 months. Our normal task; would be for me and my children to go to the Deli section and eat or drink something while my wife picked up the items we would purchase. After I would consume the food, I would take either the empty container or take the Price Bar Code up to the cashier for payment. (I was told to do this many times by store employees). I took the empty containers and Price Bar Codes with me to the cashier along with a full cart of items my wife had wanted. I gave everything to the cashier and had asked if she had scanned the empty containers and Price Bar Code items. The cashier confirmed twice she did. (At this point I usually check it myself, but my son was complaining that he needed to go to the restroom and I wanted to get back home because a bad thunderstorm was coming, so I trusted the cashier and went on to exit the store). As I exited the store, a lady by the name of Debbie Miller approached me and said I consumed food and did not pay for it. I told her you are crazy, I paid for it. At first she did not want to look at the receipt. When I insisted, she looked and said nothing is on there. I was shocked and looked at the receipt and discovered the items I paid for (over $150!). Her face turned bright red and she left the room, she returned with items from a trashcan. She asked me if these items were mine. She demanded I sign some kind of a form. I kept repeating lets go talk to the cashier and she can clear this up that I gave her all the Price Bar Codes and Empty Container items. Ask her! If there is a problem it is with the cashier, not me! Ms. Miller refused and left the room again. She returned with another man she said was her boss, he said call the police and secure the videotapes. I said, Sir, you are making a big mistake, I will fight this thing, and I have not done anything wrong. I am a devout Christian; and therefore would never do this! I demanded to see these videotapes so it will prove I gave everything to the cashier. They refused to let me see anything. I said let me call an attorney! They refused! A few seconds later the Columbia Police G. Wise, badge number # 10855, arrived and began writing an arrest booking. I began telling him the truth and my wife showed up at the door in the back where they had taken me. Officer Wise went into a rage and began yelling at my wife, who had with her my two children. All she was asking (in a normal voice) was what was happening, an employee had showed her where I was. This outrageous officer threatened to have my wife arrested and take my two children to foster home. Because of my illness, I broke down in tears, and kept repeating I did nothing wrong. The store demanded that I be taken to jail, and the enraged officer took me to jail. My rights were never said, I was never told what I was being arrested for, I never saw a warrant until I arrived at the jail! Strangely, the police took me to another jail in a other county. My family called all night and the next day and could not locate me. They were told there is no one in custody by my name. I even asked the prison when will I go to the bonds court, and I was refused my request, and they even told me I had a five page rap sheet of all kinds of charges. (I have never been put in jail before)! My family got in touch with the courts and demanded I at least be found and released on bond. I was told by the jail that I would be there for 30 days! By the grace of God and answered prayer, I was released the next day. I still cannot understand why the store manager and police did not want to talk to the cashier. The items were scanned and paid for, and she was the one who scanned them and she knows what the truth is. It seems to be all lies to take down a good Christian family man. I am now fighting this as best I can, and I will sound the trumpet as loud as I can to make the people know what corporations are doing to our freedom! It is out of control and needs to STOP! God Will Give Me Victory!
he's saying he's a devot christain well all faiths have the same goal i don't tatse and put the paper away I show it to the cashier and make sure she swipes the item ask the other day I went to wal mart paid in cash and still showed my ID . I am proud to be in America let him see what jail is like for people with disabilities He aint going to like it.
Ken
I hope he gets what he deserves is jail. He's crying wolf becasue of his condition. He's just like the rest of us broke.
So why steal.
I hope he get's what comming to him.
I have a disability and I don't steal either.
Cry babbie go to jail.
OH COME ON HE'S CRYING WOLF BECAUSE HE'S DISABLED. WELL FOLKS SO Am I and I don't steall chaeat or lie.
I am not a christain but beleive the same as you. Send this creep to jail, he no better then the rest of us poor folks.Hope Wal Mart wins this one.
To all those who made comments about this man who was taking to jail you cannot tell me that you have not gone in a store and grabbed some grapes or some other kind of items to test and I don't mean the test testers that give you a sample of items to test. Well anyway if you have done this guess what that's stealing as well even if you try to suger coat it because you didn't pay for it first or even opening up a bottle of water or a bag of chips before going to pay your items that is still stealing. And another thing I am so tired of people thinking that they Know the meaning of what a christian is. Read the Bible people! we all are really christian it's just the way we choose to live our lives. Being saved and filled with the Holy Spirit Makes an even Better Christians and having a real committed relationship with Our Heavenly Father whom IS the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE so when you find yourself in incidents like these and knowing and recoginizing the enemy(satan) stretgies on trying to kill, steal and destroy then being a saved christian you can call on God in any situation reather you feel religion has something to do with it or not, but anyone who has a relationship with Christ will understand this and for those of you who don't now is the time to and then put yourself in his shoes. Being a saved Christian is a daily process and we are not perfect that's why we have a forgiven God who understands our wrong doing. Some Wal-Marts across this country do have rude workes and some shady workers who they put in their stores to work under cover to just pick out people to bring them down. The shady part of his story is the women who approached him and then ran off. I'm not saying that he was in the wrong but who would watch someone that tuff in a store and realize that his food that he ate was not rung up and then go to the trash can come on now. The devil is a liar.
OOPS!
What does that mean?
I work for Wal-Mart and if you consume any food before paying for it, it is considered theft. I have seen too many adults going throughout the store eating a banana or grapes. How are we supposed to charge a customer for something that is already gone. We can't weigh the person can we? I understand how you feel with someone not checking with the cashier, but sir, what you did IS considered stealing. I would never ever eat something before I paid for it. Too many people think it is ok to do what you did but as an adult, what standards are you setting for you children? Is it ok for them to go through life thinking that it is ok to steal?
I ordered a product from Light In The Box for my son for Christmas. It was a MP4 player. It worked fine for a few weeks but a wire on the inside broke off. It had a nice touch screen and looked very good. I contacted Light In The Box by e-mail and they responded quickly. Since it would cost to ship it back to them, they suggested I send pictures of the product to them and they promptlly refunded my money and I still have the MP4 player. The wire needed souldered back on, which I haven't had done yet, but they were very helpful and I think very generous. I would order from them again.
Uhhh. It seems like you are the one who is clueless you miserable troll. If you are intelligent enough, well forget that, maybe mommy can explain to you, my original point was being a Chreistian has nothing to do with reather person would steal food or not. Class dismissed, [censored]head. There will be no more dscussion from me to a braindead ###.
Loser, thanks for making my point. This OP was using Religion as how upstandng he was. So it looks like you with egg all over your ugly, miserable face.
burnt
I bought a box of wal-mart great value "buttery rounds". They're a knock off of ritz crackers. They are burned. Black on the edges and nasty tasting! Who do I complain to to get my money back or should I just take what is left of the box back to the local wal-mart?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Walmart has one of the most liberal return polices of any retail store. Most Stores have a customer service counter in the front of the store. Just take what is left back, with the receipt, if you have it, and exchange it or get your money back.
There should be a number on the back or the side of the box that has there corporation number for complaints. Call them and explain what happened. Make sure you have the boxes proof code and your reciept just in case:) they will give you your money back if you are not 100% satisfied and it looks like you aren't! You could also try calling the walmart you went to and see if they will just take it back and refund you your money as that would be easier. But idk if they will take it since it's been opened. Good luck!
Call the company and they will give you your money back. I'm sure like most products, on the back of the box or the side, there will be a phone number for complaints or just there corporation number. Call it and tell them. Make sure you have the box as they may ask for the boxes proof code and have your recipt ready just in case:) idk if you can return it to the store since it's been opened but you could call the walmart and ask them if they will accept the return as that might be easier. Good luck!
not having merchandise
I live in Pinehurst, N.C. and shop at Walmart in Aberdeen. On May 23, I went to the Walmart store in Aberdeen to purchase a gas grill that is on sale. Char-Broil stainless-steel 4 burner for $148.00. They advised me that they have sold out and I went to the section where you pick up merchandise that you order on line. A you lady by the name of Stephanie helped me and called Laurinburg, N. C. store. She was told they have the grill and would hold it for the Aberdeen store customer. My husband and I went to Laurinburg, N. C., about 70+ miles round trip, and when we arrived, about 40minutes later, we were told they sold out yesterday, May22. A salesman by the name of Johnny helped me. I asked to see the manager, he called and said her name is Christina and we would walk to the Bakery section. When we got there, she then said that we would go back to the garden center and check to see if they had any. So she and Johnny checked and she walked away! Johnny advised me that I could get another grill but it is not a Char-Broil brand. I told Johnny that we had driven down to get the Char-Broil grill, he said that Christina said that he could offer me another grill. I am so upset with the attitude of the management! She did not even offer an apology for the inconvience. I ran a Western Auto Store in Aberdeen for 15 years and we never treated our customer this way. I think you should send your management back for more training! My son runs a successful business in Laurinburg and I am sure he and his staff would never treat thier customer in such a manner... My name is Linda Parke. my e-mail is [protected]@earthlink.net.
keep customers' funds unavailable to customer for excessive amount of time
Keep deposits belonging to customer, made into customer's account, in WalMart's possession and unavailable to customer for up to a week, even when no question about deposit.
Website hasn't been fully functional since at least 1-11, yet they charge a fee for telephone inquiries about account balance.
Are insolent, unhelpful, and obnoxious to the hilt when customer wants explanation about why they would keep a deposit belonging to customer in their possession, and unavailable to customer for up to a week, even though no problem with deposit.(Won't answer questions and after taking 10 minutes to allow customer to talk to someone at all, keep repeating in smug monotone, "I understand your frustration.I know you want to use the funds from the deposit, but we can't make it available to you for up to five business days." "No, there's no problem with the deposit but we can't make it available to you for up to five business days."
Unless you want your own money to be unavailable to you for a long period of time while WalMart lets it sit in their account, don't trust these shysters with even a nickel.
There is one more complaint that needs to be made about this Walmart card. Clearly, someone is working on the inside because there have been a number of people, including my wife, whose card was "hacked." The same day she put up to 700.00 dollars "it simply disappeared!" Called customer service and they made us track down the merchants where the card was fraudulanly used. Problem was the information that was give by the customer service people for this card gave "inaccurate information about the merchants where the card was fraudulantly used!" We are still fighting to get reinburst!
Take my advise: "DO NOT GET THIS CARD!"
Trust me walmart is only looking to get your money. even the associates hav to get one for our paychecks. they get paid by the visa corp. by selling thier cards. the longer you have your money on the card and in the account walmart gets paid. and visa in return gets profit whwn you refill your account. its a pyramid sceme.
refused to install a new tire
I went to the Tire center at Wal-mart in Bolivar MO to have 1 tire installed on the left rear of my 1998 toyota camry. It was to match the one on the right rear that my daughter had replaced 2 months earlier when she had a run flat out of town. They refused to put that size tire on the car (195/75/14) because the placard on the door says 195/70/14. Funny this is...I have had 7 195/75/14 tires put on that car in the last 7 years, by wal-mart. I just needed to match up the right rear that my daughter had put on 2 months earlier. I am sure that they couldnt put on the recommended tire because it wouldnt match the other 3. I suppose that they wanted me to purchase 4 tires when 1 needed replaced. I am done with wal-mart. Mostly because of the problems that I have had with the TLE on 5 or 6 occasions in the past 12 years.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
rude cashiers
I have been going to this walmart since the first day it opened it's where I buy all of my groceries for my whole family and 9 times out of ten I get a rude cashier who does not even greet me does not smile and never says have a nice day . As much money as I spend there faithfully every week I would appreciate atleast a hi how are you or have a nice day instead of the feeling that I'm an inconvenience .If it doesn't change I will take my business elsewhere .
lol, I have to laugh ``Here We Go Again`` I was thinking to myself on the `would not install new tire´thread that you must be a Walmart employee and voila´there you are. You are a Walmart employee! Not a big surprise! Isn´t just like a Walmart employee to not give good service and then come on the net to act like you´re not an employee to take pot shots at those customers who have found fault and didn´t get satisfaction when they complained! Why don´t you take care of the complaint in the first place and quit blaming the customer!
walmart banns customer for protecting child from abuse
My son recently witnessed a child being abused in walmart, wilkes barre pa. He approached the child abuser and warned that he would contact police. She of course became irate. He contacted police and while waiting for police to arrive, he remained in the same area as the abuser to ensure that he could point her out when police arrived. The abuser realized...

I am livid and well that can not even describe how anger I am right now. I went to go check the balance on my card because 1. I need to pay my electric bill and 2. I needed to go to the store to pick up medication for my daughter. Knowing that I had a little over $2, 000 dollars on my card I still wanted to get an accurate amount just to be on the safe side due to the fact that I had checked my balance weeks ago and $300 dollars was missing from my card. I have called customer service several times and the bank who issues this card to figure out what happened to my funds. Guess what? Its been three weeks and they continue to say that they are working on solving the problem but nothing is getting solved. Anyways, called my card to find out the balance only for it to direct me to customer service and in which case did not get a hold of anyone. Went to the ATM to find out what my balance was at it stated to contact customer service. So, my fiancee got online and logged into my account and was by far the maddest person I have ever seen due to the fact that she also had money on my card and the balance was now reading only $0.45 cents. So, she went through all and I do mean all of the transactions that were supposed to have been made on this card. She pulled out the receipts because she keeps every one and I do mean every one. So, lets just say that this problem now needs to get resolved because here are the charges that were made on my card that I supposedly made but did not. Also, I only have a $300 dollar with drawl limit on my card and well you will see in the breakdown that on some days there was over $400.00 dollars with drawn. Its not possible. So here is the break down of the money that we are missing from my card.

The grand total that needs to be returned to my family is $2070.21
Yes, that may not be a lot of money to some but to a family of three who is struggling to live paycheck to paycheck that is a whole lot of money. Especially since we now can not pay our electric and our daughter can not get the medication that she needs. We would like to see either A) All FUNDS (including what is still on the card; we have the total for that too) refunded back to us in the form of a check and in our mailbox this week. or B) These funds be returned to the card so that we may withdraw them ourselves. In either case once we get our money we will be canceling this card. We hope that with this complaint and many more to follow that are funds will be returned to us without any hassle and we do have a lawyer on standby if need be. We just want our money and if we have to take these people to court than so be it but we will also be suing for pain and suffering as well for we will have no electric come tomorrow and my daughter is sick. So, hopefully someone will contact us back as soon as possible so that we may get our money returned to us. If not this will not be the last time you hear from us!
I had the same thing happened to me. My money was stolen as well and used to purchase things online. I haven't been able to get my money back from them either. They keep giving me the same type of run around. They just don't want to refund my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone use one of these cards. Somehow your card numbers are easily gotten and stolen.
Call the Police. File a theft report. All ATM transactions are video taped. The tapes will show who withdrew that money.

Beware if this is your only money source. I noticed a charge online that I didn't make, called the merchant, found out someone used my card number. I immediately reported the card number as stolen. They said I would receive a new card in 7-10 business days. I said how am I supposed to access my money until then. They didn't know and apologized. They suggested I buy another temporary card and they would be able to transfer the balance that was on the stolen card to this temporary card but it would take 4 hours or the next day because this happened on a Friday. Activated the temporary card. Called the next morning. Said it would take 3 to 4 hours. Called later to check on balance transfer. They said it was against their policy to do that and we would have to wait 7-10 business days for the new card and then activate it and then the balance would be transferred. What? You are holding our money hostage for 7-10 days. What are we supposed to do in the meantime? Oh they apologized and they understand, but they don't have an answer. Can you believe they are holding our money hostage? We are being punished, not the person who used our card number. I want to file a complaint with the FTC, Attorney General, any lawyers interested? Please contact me asap. This is unreal. I thought the banks were unfair, but this takes the cake.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY EMPLOYEES. late night stockers harassing shoppers. disgusting
no one would have got hurt had you had regular hours and sale all day
They just did not have enough backgrounds to choose from, I will not go there again.
How can they call you "###", and have blacks working there...
Tasha13 is in prison and has plenty of time to comment. So prison isn't all that bad. You have to look on the bright side.
This is certainly a bizarre complaint.
i agree with badger, to many of you so-called "parents need to watch your thieving little booger eaters, i don't know how many people i have witnessed just letting their little "wastes of good sperm " run around in the stores, running around the stores and end up knocking elderly people to the floor, then look at them as if to say, get out of my way you old ###, then run off and keep doing the same ### again and again . when the little ### run by me, I'll do my damndest to "slide my leg out and "trip" the nauseating little ###" and hope THEY BREAK THEIR FRIGGEN ARM. And where do you think they learn that stealing ### ? From their mother and father that's where, and I will take bets that you don't give a rats' ### about their welfare, in fact that's why you're teaching them to steal, because your welfare check isn't big enough . Do us all a favor, get up off of your lazy ###, get off of the couch, put the bon-bons away and get a friggin' job and watch your thieving brats you ignorant ho.
Ummm... Maybe your son shouldn't be stealing ###. And maybe he needed to face some consequences for his actions beyond you "yelling at him". If he pulls that ### again in 8 years, he will go to jail. I'm sure you'll be right there to bail him out and "yell at him" some more. Yes, LP gets paid to catch shoplifters, hence "loss prevention". Stop blaming the greeter, LP, Wal-Mart, etc. Take responsibility for your child's actions. He's YOUR child, that makes him YOUR responsibility. WATCH YOUR ###ING KID!
You're angry that Walmart wouldn't take back the stolen goods and allow your son a second go at it?
They have probably seen your precious little 10 yr old son stealing from them before on camera and was going to bust him this time. He didnt need another chance to go put the things up. He is old enough to know what he is doing! He needs to pay for what he did. sounds like he has a "bright" future ahead of him. And by the way, yelling at your kid doesnt solve anything.
