when i came to walmart with my daughter for a few things i asked the door greeter if they had a motorized chair as i had my right knee bandaged from a torn ligament and could barely walk . after waiting about 5 minutes for the door person to finish his personal conversation with a leaving customer i was told there was one at the food entrance . i asked if someone could bring one to the main entrance . the door person called on his radio and told me there was only one person there and they could not bring it and turned his back to me . i limped about 10 feet in that direction then i turned around and told my daughter who was holding her small baby that i wasn't going to walk all the way to the other entrance to get it . i was mad at this point and wanted to leave. i find it embarassing enough to have to use one but even on a good day i hurt very badly after shopping in that big a store. i only do it for my daughter . after this experience i will think real hard about where i can get what i want that is in another store. i think your company should be ashamed by this . i try not to ask much from people but when you are hurt and it is obvious and then be dismissed like too bad for you lady shows the real company spirit.

I just had another agravating time at the walmartpharmacy on us92in auburndale fla. My husband has had a bad case of diarrhea sincewe came home off vacation on june 15 2009. He went to the dr. & got a perscription for lomotil which I took to walmart. The first one I took they said they were out of lomotil and I would have to come back the next day. Then another pharmacy worker asked what the problem was and told the other worker that they had it and why was she telling me we didn't, answer (Well it says we're out) and the new worker said no it says it is the next perscription to be filled. So I waited 5 minutes and got it for $10.00 and left.
The dr. Had to call in refill and I went to pick it up and they said my husband had already gotten to many refills at the walmart in lake wales and he could not have any more, I asked why would he go to lake wales to get this medicine when he works in tampa and lives right down the street from auburndale walmart. She said she had no clue but would not give him any medicine. So I asked if she had his name spelled right and she had typed in a completely different name than the one I had spelled out to her when this pick up started, she had put in hustien when I had spelled out houston. Then she checked the stock and they were out so I had to wait another day to get his medicine and when I wen back to get it the price was $26.50 I asked about the $16.50 difference from last week and she said there was a note on his perscription page that he did not want generic. Well why didn"t they see that last week? So I just paid the higher amount and left very very angry. I will no longer take his perscriptionstothis walmart pharmancy. I have always gotten my pictures taken at walmart and, have never had a problem until this past couple of weeks. First off the photographer was not like any of the other photographers I have eve had at walmart. She did not seem happy about her job at all she wasn't enthuziastic about it at all. All times I come there with my kids and all the photographers play with the kids to make them smile and get them prepared for the picture. not this one {Malinda Nemeth} she was behind both times I went, the last time I brought my daughter and her friend and we waited 1hr and a half. she did act like she want us there {because it was close to closing time for her}. Im extremly disapponted. When i arrived there at 5:00 {app was at 5:30} she was chatting with her sister like she didnt have any other customers after she was already behind. She didnt pose my children I had to. That was just the second time in the past two weeks that I have been there with a bad experience. The first time i had to sennd my pictures back three times.

wal-mart money card does not work
Don’t buy a Wal-Mart Money Card! I received a Wal-Mart Money Card as a gift some months ago. Wal-Mart sells it so it is difficult to use. So often Wal-Mart gets all the money on the card.
To use it, the card requires a code from the register receipt. But people give me just the card in the sealed folder it was purchased in without the receipt. That sealed folder does not tell you the piece of information you need to activate it. So you buy the card to give it away and the user cannot use it.
I cannot remember who gave me the card so I don’t know who to ask for their register receipt. Do they still have the register receipt?
My local Wal-Mart store cannot help me. Both Wal-Mart toll free numbers to serve this product have no human interface and I can get no resolution from them.

Well I was going to say something but Jesse kind of summed it up. About all I could add is if a friend gave you this card, get new friends. That one is too much of an idiot to listen to the cashiers when they explain(and they always do, they could lose their jobs otherwise)how to activate and use the card.

I bought a Walmart Money Card from walmart in Foothill Ranch CA. This is a pre-paid credit card. I paid 6 dollars for the activation fee and loaded 200 dollars onto the pre-paid card. I needed this pre-paid card to pay a bill online. When I attempted to activate the card online, I was given an 800 number to call, to complete the activation. Of course the office for the 800 number was closed so I waited untill the next day and gave them a call. They informed me that they cannot activate my card because I have "negative activity" on another pre-paid card. This was news to me because I don't have any other pre-paid credit cards. They could not provide me with any information regarding this "negative activity" not the company name or the card name, nothing. So They must process a refund for me. I say ok, I'll just go back to walmart and get a refund, but they said I could not do that. The only thing they said they can do is send me a check for the refund which of course will take 7-10 business days. Or I could get it expedited to me, but of course I would have to pay 20 dollars for this. I find this whole situation ridiculous. I have no other pre-paid accounts so it is impossible for me to have negative activity on one. So because of their computer mistake and their unwillingness to rectify it, I am out 200 dollars untill they decide to mail it to me. I cant afford to lose 200 dollars for a day, let alone 7-10 days. I wrote this complaint so that people will see it and stay away from the WALMART MONEYCARD. thank you.

I have similar situation as many of these complaints. I put $170 on a card and they could not activate my card and after soany run around I told them just to send the refund check. Anyone who was sent a refund check how long did it actually take?
Walmart money card [protected] I called and tried to activate this card, negligence on your staffs behalf, by inputing the wrong information, caused the card to "lockout "as inactive. there4 prohibiting me or the representive to further activate the card now! Now I have to wait 7 business day for "them " to make interest off the 100.00 I paid them, they refused to activate the card because they could not find my address. Reps names: leanne, alane, Alfred, and Justin; all was patronizing me! And refused to give me my 100.00 activated on the temporary debit card. My number is [protected] my name: Shaun rice, its not far the companies my interest in there bank off me on a 14 day turn around, 7 days to send refund, 7 day to clear my bank. And I loose time, an money in the delay process for "Walmart Money cards" gain . I am left in disparage as to the service I received from this company.
I have also had a terrible experience with the Walmart Money Card. And I will never ever do business with this company EVER in my entire life. Their customer service agaents are incompetent of doing thier job right. And they treated me like a theif although I was only trying to obtain a refund on a purchase I got online. Go to getmygreen.com and call their 1-888 number. They can fix your issue. I lost my reciept with the activation number and spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to talk to someone at walmartmoneycard.com and got nowhere. I called the number at getmygreen.com and had my card activated in 5 minutes! Walmart cards SUCK, but if you have this issue, this is how you can fix it.
As for filling a complaint regarding WalMart's money card, I filed with the better business bureau (BBB). I was refunded the fees that were applied to the cards I closed.

I purchased one of the cards and now I'm waiting and waiting for the money to hit. This is $110 on this card. I have bills to pay and I do NOT want to be held ransom like these other posts. I had the same problem with Wal-mart money card as well. I put $70.00 0 on the card to pay a bill and went home to activate the card. The rude and self-righteous customer service rep (name Dianne- Badge # 0558) told me that I had two Wal-mart Money Cards already that had amounts that I owed monthly fees on. I told her that the first card I reported lost, I therefore, I requested that it be closed way back then and the second one I closed due to unauthorized purchase from a merchant ( I know I called about this one as well because I got a recording on my phone from Wa-lmart about the complaint that I also added as my reason for why I was closing it). She told me that they did not close is but kept it open (despite my request to close both). She stated that before they could activate the new card I purchase and have money the money on it, I would have to pay the fees on both old cards that they kept open totaling around $19.00 in monthly fees. She would not let me speak to a supervisor and cut off my conversation with her by putting me on hold- a long hold at that.
I wanted to dispute this with her further, but they were holding my money on the new card as ransom until I paid the monthly fees on the two other cards that I had closed out and not used in months.
I asked her would I be getting a confirmation that the accounts were closed and she stated no. So this leaves the door open for it to happen to me again
This really irritates me that they could possibly get away with this !
PLEASE EVERYONE FOLLOW MY LEAD AND SEND A REPORT TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ABOUT WALMART'S MONEY CARD ACTIVITIES!

I put my application in on the internet and put put a 25 mile and your store in eldon called the next day I went for 2 interviews and they ran a back ground check and I passed the drug test and she set up orientation and the day before I was to go she canceled and let me go I asked her to call the store in osage mo. I added money to my prepaid walmart card in the amount of $105 on june 12th and I never used the card finally on june 19th I went to walmart to purchase a father's day gift for my husband and when the cashier swiped my card it continuously declined the transaction so I was embarred and confused but thank goodness I also had my debit card from bank and was able to purchase my items I called the number on the back of the card buy it was closed but there was an automated system that let me listen to the transactions someone purchase items for $69 then $100 on june 15th I called to speak with a store manager no one answered my calls the only person that had the card number was the customer service rep that works in the money card dept who added the money the night I added money I seriously beleive that she stole my info and made the transactions on my card I don't know what to do or how to get my money back or how to find out if it was her for sure but know one else has access to my card

i recieved a walmart visa as a gift in jan and activated it immediately, however when i try to purchase with it i am declined. it has been verified that there is money on it. One time i am told that it has not been activated and when i try to activate it again it says it has been activated but will not accept my birthdate as verification. I am VERY frustated with this card and have written the address on the web site since i can not email or speak to any one. Can someone PLEASE call me at [protected] ASAP. After i mailed the letter i was texted with the balance on the card but after trying it again today it still does not work. I know gift cards are always declined if their is not enough to cover the ENTIRE purchase. The gift card value must be worth the same purchase or less.

I recieved a walmart moneycard for a baby shower gift it was loaded with 40 dollars. I proceeded to activate the card over the phone and was sent another card in the mail with my name on it. I tried to activate the card over the computer because over the phone was complicated. I was unable to activate the card I recieved in the mail. I tried to use the card anyway since the first one was activated over the phone and it would not go through. I spoke with customer service and was told it should not be a problem since the first one was activated but still it would not go through. I really think that the person who spent her money on this gift would not be happy to know that her 43 dollars was pretty much a waste. I have let people know that they should not purchase a moneycard from walmart 1. the charge 2. complicated 3. you may or may not get to use the card for anything. I am going to go to the walmart that the card was purchased at to begin with and hopefully get some help, regular gift card or cash. Wish me luck!

Walmart customer service calls my cell everyday and leaves a message telling my balance. I have received 26 text messages and Bellsouth has charged me with them, $3.20. I want the texting stopped, how do you do that?

You can always go to the website, which is what I do. Forget calling customer service, you won't be treated as a customer and the service will be lacking. Once you sign in to your account online, simply UNCHECK the option to be notified via your cellular phone. Choose your email address instead, that is what I did.
Just send a reply back with this one work in it. STOP
you should get a reply telling that you no longer wish for the text message alerts.
That should work for most automatic texting services.
well thats something you had to have chosen because i was asked by automatic system if i wanted texts, so you got to set it up where you dont get that anymore you can do that online walmartmoneycard.com go to options and i forget the rest but its not walmart thats texting you its the automatic system doing it

In February 2009 I received my Wal-Mart bill due in March 2009. I mailed my check paying off the entire balance 6 March 2009. I received another bill in March 2009 stating my payment was late, I check and my first check had not cleared the bank so I thought it had probably gotten lost in the mail. I mailed a second check with the late fee included and paid off the entire account. When I received my statement for April 2009, I had a credit for the amount of the original check. They had posted both checks with in a couple of day of each other.
In May 2009 I did not receive a statement from Wal-mart until the very end of the month when I received a statement saying I was late. I wrote a check and mailed it on June 10, 2009 paying off the entire account including a late fee for a bill I didn't receive.
Today, June 15, 2009 I placed and order for fishing gear for my grandchildren, and my card was declined because the account was past due. The snippy person on the customer service line said "when you pay your bill we will reopen your account".
When I asked about the two checks being posted prior to this incident, I was told she couldn't verify that that happened and she was supposely looking at my account.
All I have to say is I have now paid two sets of late fees and at least one of them is because I didn't receive a statement. They closed my account until I paid and now I don't give a rats a-- if they ever reopen it.
Wal-mart is in the process of building a store in my town - Guess where I will not be shopping.
Friendly customer service - I don't think so and thier prices aren't any better than anyone else.

I had a list of things to pick up last night, August 29, 2009 at walmart in Sherwwood Arkanas, store # 7. I also picked up a filing cabinet marked $32.97, when I got to the check outs I waited 15 /20 minutes in line and when the cashier rang up the filing cabinet it said it was $44.88. Does any one know what law is if something rings up the wrong price?

Went to shop at the walmart store here in alamogordo new mexico on sunday, june 7th to purchase some bags of stone for landscaping. Walked around outside to see what they had and saw what would work and a good price. Went inside to purchase the product and when the cashier rang it up it was coming up and 3.98 a bag when the sign outside said 1.98 per bag. She tried several codes but none rang up at 1.98 per bag. She went outside with me to see for herself and check it out. She saw the sign and got the code from the bag and we went back inside to do the transaction. It still would not come up at 1.98 per bag. She called a manager to the department to tell her the situation and when the manager arrived, she told me right away, it is no way they can give me the quantity I wanted for the price on the sign but would give me 1 (One) bag for the 1.98 and the rest at the higher price. Told her that is not right and would not be purchasing the product and I left the store. That is not right, not to honor the price that is posted at the product. The customer cannot should not me charged a higher price for an item when it is the stores fault. What is wrong with this kind of customer service! Any other store I would be in would give you the item for the price on the sign! Is there not a law about something like this.

That's false advertisment. At the store I work at (not a wal-mart store), if there is sign with a different price, we have to honor the lower price. I'm pretty sure you could get them in big trouble if you prove it.

I was shopping in walmart with my family in May 2009.I paid for all of things I had in my cart.One of the items I purchased was a plastic bottle of Arizona Tea.I noticed that it was only half in the bottle .The cashier told me to get another bottle and I did.I returned with the item and she gave me a bag.I was stopped at the front by a female grabbing my arm yelling come with me.I saw that they had done the same to my mom.I was taken to the back of the store and accused of stealing.I was then arrested in front of my child and held for hours.I had a five month old baby on my chest screaming to be fed and I could'nt do anything while my child screamed mommy we paid for our things.While I was arrested I was constantly being told to shut up or you'll get more charges and loose your kid.They kept changing the story from one thing to another and all I wanted to do was get home with my children.My child is always remembering that day because they had to stay with me during the whole time until my husband got there.I was finger printed and took mug shots in front of my 7 year old child.We cried the whole time because it just was'nt true .I cant stand to even see a Walmart add.

LP should get a job at United Airlines. They threaten to have your kids taken away all the time if you complain. Even if you are right, but the case I am thinking of the passengers were in the wrong and using their child to get a free seat.
Purchased 2 coolers. Three hours later changed my mind and decided to return them. They refunded one cooler but refused to refund the other cooler because it was "grey on their computer screen." Something about the computer would not allow them to return but they told me they could pretend like I didn't have a receipt and give me a gift card. I had receipts for both coolers and again returned 3 hours after purchase. How can they accept one and not the other? They also embarrassed me and my daughter with their rudeness. Will not be shopping at Walmart anymore... Not worth it... "We will happily return items within 90 days with or without receipt" 3 hours I would say is within 90 days? Bye Walmart...

refuse to exchange defective product
I purchased an XBOX 360 for $211. After opening the box it became apparent that the charger was not compatible with the device. I attempted to return it to the store within 3 hours and was told by an assistant manager this was not the charger they sold me!? In effect they told me I had taken home a good product, substituted a bad charger and was spending my time lying to them to obtain an exchange. Three days later the store manager John V. told me the same thing and said, "I'm through with you. We are keeping your money and you can contact Microsoft if you want".
I will never shop at Wallmart again and will make sure that friends, family and work associates know that at Wallmart CUSTOMERS COME LAST. What a short sited and absurd approach to a legitimate problem.

MADE BAD DUPLICATE KEYS FOR MY CAR, AND BROKE INSIDE OF IGNITION KEY HOLE., i had to call a lock smith... and charged me 75 dollars to get it out... i learned my lesson not to purchase such keys that don't hold up... I don't feel this is fair, and want a credit for this ordeal i am going through...

I actually like the card so far. The only thing I have a complaint about is that first the customer service. Now, I do work for Bank of America customer service and I know how they feel but...I cannot understand what there saying. I am not racist but I just want to understand something when it comes to my money. The second complaint I have is that when you do get the temporary card you cannot see what the transactions online or automated service. It shows you the balance with the transactions that were taken out but it dosen't show which transactions. I still love how the card works.

That's odd, in my experience if one door has carts and the other doesn't, a supervisor is radioed to go get one and bring it to the other door. If it's busy you still may have to wait a little while until someone is able to do it, but again, it is a courtesy and sometimes they are all in use and you won't be able to get one until another customer brings one back anyway. People need to stop expecting to have one available every time they shop...other customers use them too. Get your own or a wheelchair and you won't have to rely on others for anything.
Or you could buy a set of crutches for $20 at your local drug store. But whatever. You probably think someone should just give them to you.
