rude customer service at 19th & market
Hello,
I was a customer at your location on 19th and Market, store #8093. I ordered a latte with almond milk, expresso and extra flavor. When I tasted the drink it did not taste like extra flavor was added. Anytime I order this drink the extra sweetness can be tasted. I kindly walked back and told the young lady Tahira that made the drink my concern. She immediately was rude by rolling her head and eyes plus her voice was extremely upsetting. Quote her " you ordered expresso and flavoring (head roll, eyes rolling and tone raised)". Me, yes. Her: What flavor, rudely? She could clearly see I ordered white chocolate because she looked at the screen. I asked for the manager and the young lady she was loudly talking to while making food shouted no manager is here, then another said he is just leaving out. Chad walked over, listened and apologized. Then proceeded to make me another drink. He showed professionalism. Tahira obviously needs a customer service class. Ive seen her act rude to others before. She has a miserable attitude. Let's not mention discussing personal stuff loudly while working. I hope WaWa does something about this matter. Thank you, kindly.
bathrooms
I would like it if you could please include baby changing stations in all new Wawa locations and add them to existing locations throughout US. Modern Moms and Dads love stopping at your store but if they have a newborn they are far less likely to stop there versus another store that accommodates the diaper changing. Please consider for you future customers as well. Thank you in Advance!
fuel pump
This is a general complaint. I go to the Wawa near Six Flags in New Jersey and the recent renovation that put the diesel pumps combined with regular fuel with a big mistake. There are only two sets of diesel pumps. Now car come in for gasoline and then park at the diesel pumps, go in the store and now you have to wait for a diesel pump while someone's using gasoline bad decision.
wawa employees
i was recently getting gas at the wawa in prince frederick maryland, while my dad went inside for a drink. upon my dad exiting the wawa i was told that one of the cashiers had seen me and started calling me a snob in front of other consumers and to another employee. i am very disheartened by the fact wawa would hire a 15 year old who talks badly about people while on duty. needless to say you have lost a very loyal customer and i will be sure to tell others about the horrible service. thank you for your time.
deli
At 12:30 on 6/16/18 I ordered a Italian hoagie with extra mayo and pickles on the side. I got my hoagie with a SLAB on mayo on the one side of the roll and had to ask for my side of pickles. Less conversation and more focus on the task at hand if you can't do both. I'm annoyed, should have just stuck with Roma's deli and got a better quality, 12 inch hoagie, with much more meat and love for the same price.
cashier
I order a drink and tobacco around 2am June 10 with my debit card, the guy at the cashier did a mistake and it show fraud at the system and he asked me to give him my debit card and then he didn't want to return it back to me and he call the police, I told him that's my debit card and I'm buying tobacco anyway you should ask my ID and you can see the name on the debit card is the same name on my ID and you have no right to hold it and he call the police on me, anyway police came which it was the first time someone call police on me, the officer told him that's a debit card and he showed you his ID you shouldn't call the police, I wake my lawyer at 2am and my family really got so worry about me, and the cashier said my card shows fraud and I told him my card nothing wrong with it, I called my bank they told me also nothing wrong with my account at all and they send me an email that my account has money on it and all good and I showed them even my online bank account, I just want to know why is that ?
No respect at all, I always buy from them gas and grocery and I have wawa credit card also, always talk with respect never had any problem at all and that what I got there, thanks
food
I have always been happy with Wawa's food, unfortunately today I have been let down. Every single day I buy a Wawa sizzli sandwich. Today however I buy my sandwich and headed to my next job and begin to eat. The bagel was hard and a rock and the sausage egg and cheese were all cold. At this point to far down the road to turn back I also noticed that the sell by sticker was passed due but I unfortunately did not notice this until half way to the turnpike
cooler's not being stocked
for the last week I have been going into the store to stock up on Snapple Raspberry Ice Tea and Smart Water, it seems like every time I go in there...there is None. BUT there is plenty of the WA WA Brand of both ...which is fine...but I prefer Snapple because it's all natural.
Also, there hasn't been any Yogurt or Yogurt Parfait (Choboni or other wise)
Just the nasty Oreo and sugar based items (again, I prefer the healthier versions)
What gives?
I've never had this problem before and I have lived here for 8 years (since this store opened.
Disappointed
Mike.
fuel
On june 4th I stopped at the wawa #581, in abingdon, md at 3500 woodsdale rd to fill up my car. Before filling I had about one quarter of a tank left, having done 371 miles (33.6mpg) on my honda accord dashboard. I reset trip meter on every filling. I started filling my car at 16:57 from pump #3. It was super slow. The truck next to me started filling when I had only 6 gallons put in and he finished before me putting 17 gallons in his truck. I filled for 14.55 gallons and finished at 5:08pm. It is impossible for my 15 gallons tank to receive 14.55 gallons if I had 1/4 of a tank. I went to the store clerk and explained to her that the pump was broken for 2 reasons: it was only trickling fuel and it showed the wrong amount of gas put in. She supposedly asked the manager who told her the bill is the bill... He/she never even came out to explain or apologized for the issue. I also asked the clerk to at least close the pump since it was defective. Nothing was done. I had to warned the driver waiting for my pump about the issue. Appr: 04213d, seq# 037063
I regularly used to fill at wawa as there is one by my work in dundalk, md. I will have to find another fuel station if wawa cannot tell me that there pump are inspected and are in working conditions. Please respond to my complaint.
Regards,
Maryse

5.00 meal
I go into wawa a couple times a week at least. I always get the 1/2 sandwich with soup. Or just the tuna club
Well today i got the 5.00 meal
My sandwich was the smallest I have ever seen. Was not even 3 inches long. Very little tuna in it. I was so disappointed.
I got the clam chowder and the cup was only filled 2/3 of the way.
This is not what i am used to getting. I cant believe it.
I may never go in again. That is how disappointed i am.
food
I pre-ordered a custom salad - spinach and veggies with grilled chicken and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The amount of dressing added to the salad was way too much. The greens were drenched and soggy. If I poured out the salad dressing it would fill a half cup in my measuring cup. Not only disappointing but certainly unhealthy. I was so disappointed as I cannot eat the salad with so much dressing. After spending $6.99 on the salad, it was a total waste. I couldnt eat it.
deli/management
Good morning,
I want to first say I am an avid customer of wawa and I go just about every day. My experience this morning has however been the WORST service I have ever received from all wawas I have been to. I was at the 854 store and ordered from the deli a breakfast wrap with hasbrown eggs American cheese and bacon. My mother ordered 2 rolls one with butter and we ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies. Are order was placed at 10:48 am. We are just leaving wawa now at 11:10am.
Not only did it take 20 minutes to get my order, after waiting 15 minutes the gentleman behind the counter proceeded to tell me that they ran out of bacon and I would have to either substitute the meat or wait longer. I chose to wait longer because at this point I was already waiting entirely too long so what is 5 more minutes.
Our chocolate chip cookies were warmed and completely broken and mangled into the same bag. So now the one cookie I order and the other cookie my mother ordered are now in one bag smushed, broken, and a chocolate mess.
I watched a woman who ordered after me leave before me and she ordered 6 deli sandwiches. I do not understand how my one little wrap and a couple rolls and cookies could take longer than 6 sandwiches to be made.
As I was waiting I noticed that there was only one cashier and the line was wrapped around the entire counter. So someone from the Deli, I'm assuming a little higher up on the chain jumped to the registers to help. He was able to get the line down to about 3 people before returning back to the deli. But then he was forced to return again to the cashier register after 2 minutes because the line was about to be out the door again. I understand what a rush looks like and it is hard to get everyone's orders out quickly but I have never seen a wawa completely shut down and move this slowly in my life. I have been going to wawa for 27 years and it is the one place I have raved about now that I have moved to another state that does not have wawa. This store by far is not run appropriately and I hope someone can look into how it is being run because this is absolutely unacceptable.
karen the supervisor at wawa on warwick blvd in newport news, va
I went into Wawa on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018. I order 2 philly cheesesteaks subs. 1 with lettuce, American cheese, salt/pepper and mayo. 2nd one was with sautéed onions, American cheese, mayo, salt/pepper and lite oil/vingar both junior rolls. Well, I live in the apartment complex directly across the street and after leaving the store I get home just for to find the meat on both subs was cold and the only thing that was on both subs were mayo, cheese, cold and lettuce. I called back and spoke with supervisor on duty. I don't remember her name but she advised to me come in and the subs would be replaced and she took my name and order number. I went in today (June 7, 2018) and attempted to speak with Karen the supervisor on duty, her tone of voice was very rude and she was very nasty and she told me since I didn't have my receipt there was nothing she could do after I explained my concern and advised her that the supervisor from Saturday stated she wrote my information down. She her attitude and demeanor was very rude and she walked off while I was speaking with her. I found that to very poor customer service and she made NO effort to even check or address my concern. That was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at Wawa besides of course my subs being cold and not made to order.
manager-derek
I was in the wawa at the location of 2 E Rhodes this morning (6/5/18) at 5:45 am. The manager on duty I am complaining about is Derek. I walked in and asked if there were any apples and peanut butter left in the refrigerators and he immediately turned to his employee (Peter) and was very rude to him about getting me what I needed. I was not in a rush and was happy to wait for Peter who seemed to be working very hard at such an early hour of the day. I was waiting for an item at the touch screen and Derek repeatedly tore into Peter for simple things that could be explained in a very nice way. Peter was so polite and I told him he was doing a great job because I felt so bad about how Derek was talking to him. He was doing nothing wrong in my eyes. I genuinely felt bad for him and I really hope this is not a reflection of wawa as a company because I love your products and make a stop there every morning before work. I mentioned it to another employee that if my manager was talking to me like that this early in the morning I would be so upset, and she said "yeah he's always like that". Overall, if I was Peter I would dread coming to work everyday to work for someone that talks to me that way. There is a difference between managing and bullying and I hope someone has a talk with Derek about this because I among other customers were very shocked and not in a good way.
harassing employee
I filed a complaint with Wawa HR regarding employee.. he would text and email me vulgar filth in the middle of the night during working hours. He is a driver, should he be using his phone while driving? Not only did Wawa do nothing, they rewarded him with overtime. I guess harassing women is tolerated by Wawa. Well I will take my business to Royal Farms, along with everyone I know, my male and female friends were all appalled when I showed them the filth he sent me, as well as Wawa's lack of reponse.
the manager zack
I ordered a sour dough sandwhic and I asked the mananger zach to change his gloves because he had touch pork bacon before he made my sandwhich. He just ignored me and wiped his floves off with a wipe from the bucket behind the counter. I taken my sandwhich and thrown it away because I have paid for it. I feel like I wasted my money. For hom to have the position he has it clearly doesn't show for this company.
hiring process, hired and given no hours, very rude on the phone
I was hired 6 weeks ago the day of an interview at Wawa in Rocky Hill, NJ. Since then my papers have been "lost and then entered incorrectly." I have called multiple times and been told I would get a call back when everything was resolved. I came in and signed papers online agreeing to the contracts, policy, and sexual assault protocol. I was told multiple times I would be guaranteed hours, and that I was hired and in the system. I contacted Dan the assistant manager multiple times to talk about this, and he seemed very nice, understanding, and apologetic; he was also the person who hired me. However now, as I approached my 6th week without the hours or training that I was promised, I called for what I believe was the 5th or 6th time. I came in contact with the general manager Michelle. I stated my name and she immediately became rude and hostile. She said I never called to schedule anything, and that she called multiple times and I didn't answer or call back. I called multiple times and have the call dates and times because I requested it from my phone service provider. I have no record of "multiple calls" from Wawa because I never received them. There was 2 calls over this six week period. One from Dan (assistant manager) explaining that my paperwork was messed up and Michelle would call me back with updates about it, and another voicemail from Michelle asking me to call her back when I got a chance. I did and she did not answer for a week. I never received a single update about my paperwork or training opportunities. Michelle was quick to call me "unprofessional" and say the situation was my fault for not calling when I tried to explain. She told me to "just stop" when I tried to explain that I called multiple times and never got a call back from her, and could never reach her. She then informed me that because of this, she would not be giving me any hours, and that there was no room on the schedule for me. At this point because of her tone and words, and how much time had passed since I was "hired" I told her I was no longer interested in this job or the treatment I was receiving, and ended the phone call. I have lived only a few minutes from the Rocky Hill Wawa for years, and am often a customer. However due to this unfair and frankly rude treatment from Michelle, and the unreliability of the hiring process, I regret to inform you that I will be definitely be thinking twice before entering the Rocky Hill Wawa.
discrimination, not respectful, rude
On May 31, 3744 Spruce street WaWa store, was on the queue of checking out at the counter adjacent to the window. When it came to me, the woman staff started to check on her phone while chatting to another woman(not a WaWa staff, a customer who finished checking out), without even glancing at the next check-out-to be done-customer (me). This continued like several minutes, during which I was just in front of these two chatting women and I felt inpatient to wait more and left for another checking out counter. The second I left, I noticed she started to checkout the next customers( two non-Asians), even though the non-staff woman was still there (probably waiting to chat more until another Asian customer come again...)
This is humiliating and not respectful at all, even other customer could tell that. I will definitely minimize my visit (unless emergent need) to WaWa even though I liked WaWa.
litter of all sorts
Why is it so that so many of your customers want to litter the area next to your store? The entrance/exit into Kingston Estates off of Route 70 in Cherry Hill is littered every day by customers who have left the store but don't want to use the exits provided for them on Route 70. I know this is true because practically everyday I pick up litter there. You have no environmental conscience whatsoever from what I can tell and this cascades to and through your customers. You're not a very good neighborhood partner in my eyes and many of my neighbors eyes. Have you thought of educating your customers? Maybe a "please don't litter our neighborhood" sign on the doors?
"Don't trash the neighborhood. " or "Please dispose of your trash properly?" Your lot is good, it's just the neighboring spaces.
food service
On May 26 I visit store store #583 in Mechanicsville, Maryland for gas and a sandwich. Went in ordered sandwich. Paid for sandwich then went over to wait for sandwich. My friend came over where I was standing and I told him ours should be next because they had called #268 and my number was 269. Everyone else that had ordered numbers were called and received their orders. I was the only one still standing and waiting. I saw the boy wrap the sandwich up and I waited for him to call my number. He never did. He stepped away and went to do something else. My friend came over where I was standing and and took ticket and asked where was this sandwich. The lady standing next to the boy that fixed the sandwich said he it is. The boy that fixed sandwich never moved. The others that had their number called were white people. I am black. I want to know why number number wasn't called and the boy wrapped sandwich up and walked away. My friend did cause a situation in the store. We left with sandwich but my friend took sandwich back in store and got money back. Did the boy that made the sandwich thought I was standing there to watch him make sandwiches all day. DON'T appreciate how I was treated by the boy that made the sandwich. I would really appreciate some feedback on this. I frequently visit WaWa no matter where they are located. I have never experience anything like I did on Saturday.
