employees using profanity
I stopped in the WaWa located at 6800 Rising Sun Ave; Phila., Pa. 19111 (Store #8066) around 530am on 12/31/2017 after dropping my father off at dialysis and was alarmed at the disrepecttful attitudes of two young employees at the sandwich section. I was at the kiosk trying to determine what I wanted to order and the two employees were using profane language. At first I ignored them hoping they would stop once they noticed an older customer was in their presence but they still continued. I said to the female employee "can you watch your language young lady?" She glared at me then continued having a conversation with her male co-worker. After about 5 minutes at the kiosk, my ticket printed and I was about to pay at the register but held off only to hear the female employee say to her male co-worker "how she gonna tell me to watch my language, she aint my mother". I told her that it is unprofessional to be using that language in front of customers and I told the both of them to cancel my order. I asked an employee who was stocking the shelves to get the manager. As the manager was coming from out the back the young female employee intercepts the manager and tells him this "she just mad cause we were cursing." The manager apologized to me, told me it was inappropriate and returned to the back of the store. The two young male and female employees clearly have an issue with respect. I know I am not their parent but I am someone's parent. When I asked if she could watch her language that was a simple "motherly correctioning" on my part because I know children make mistakes.
I wouldn't have canceled my order or wrote this complaint if she heeded my advice about the profane language. However when she decided to make the comment about me not being her mother and telling the manager I'm mad because they were cursing, I was annoyed. These two young people didn't have any profressionalism and clearly didn't understand what they did wrong. I have children around their age and understand young people do and say things without thinking but if a customer takes the time to correct you, then heed the advice. Don't make matters worse by being belligerent. I hope their atttitudes get adjusted.
customer service
Your new store located on the corner of Center Florida PKWY and John Young PKWY. My job is approximately 7-10 min away. when i arrived at this location on December 27, 2017 at 3:30pm on my 30 min lunch break. I order my food on the machine and the ticket printed out my order# 755 at 3:33pm. The ladies preparing the food NEVER greeted the customers. And they HELD A PRIVATE CONVERSATION OVER MY FOOD which took them 16 mins to prepare a Italian Hoagie. I was late from my break and got in trouble by my supervisor. Which makes me to NEVER want to eat or ORDER my food from you guys again. I wasted my $9.00 and my 30 min lunch on WAWA. I am going to write a review on yelp regarding this.
I never got refunded for my money
Hello my name is Sarah Garay, On 12/16/17 I purchased Gas at store (8099 S. Orange avenue orlando, fl [protected]) Store number #5208.
The cashier Sarah charge me $55 dollars gas, I told the cashier that it was the wrong amont, I only wanted $25 dollars of gas, so she charge me $25 of gas and told me that she refunded the $55 to my card and that wasnt true. I get text message everyone I use my card and it says that I got charge twice. But I waited a few days just to see if I was gonna get my money and right now day 12/26/17 I have not gotten my money . My bank account says charge $25 and $55 at the wawa. I called the manager and was no help & rude. Here's my prove that I go charge twice . I feel like I was Rob .
Thank you, Sarah Garay
a really bad wrap
Just wanted to let you know that more quality is needed.
I bought a wrap (picture attached) earlier today at the WAWA in Paulsboro, on Berkley Road and I 295 in NJ.
It was extremely skimpy on filling, but the worst part was the wrap, which was just a soggy piece of dough. The wrap could not be eaten, and as I mentioned, there wasn't much filling. I like your hoagies, and love your coffee, but more training is needed on whoever makes thes seasonal wraps.
I just thought you should be aware.
molded grape in fruit and cheese package
On Tuesday December 19th @ 1030pm. There was a molded grape in the package. Not the first time neither I have purchased the fruit and cheese a long time ago. At that time the grapes were beyond soft and unedible. I will more than likely not purchase this specific item from Wawa anymore. For it to be that molded and awful looking it definitely had been there for a long time.
treatment of customers
Wawa employee at Broad and walnut st in Philadelphia.
The employees of wawa are making a game out of attack's on customers.
Hitting customer with wet mop, stealing the food back that was just paid for and preventing that customer from returning to that convenience store with constant harassment and mocking. Selective service of Customers at wawa. One employee said Jews belong in the oven. Another hit my feet with a wet mop, Unapologetically . Then stole the food I had just paid for.
Corporate did nothing. I've been a customer for years until today. Monopoly sandwich shop harassing individual customers.
employees at the wawa
My sons and I went into the wawa in pemberton nj last night to get some snacks and food for our saturday night in the house when we walked in the looks, stares and whispering that we got was ridiculous. We're african american and mostly all the workers there are caucasian when we ordered our hoagies and got all our snacks we were followed around the store the whole time and we were finished the lady who rung up our items customer service skills we're terrible I spent well over 30$ in there we recently moved down the street but from the looks I not sure if I even want to go back in there
coffee machine
I am so beyond disgusted and over the laziness the absolute ghetto trash behavior this Wawa offers! It's so weird because this Wawa is two completely different stores based on the day you go. If you go in Monday through Friday the manager is a no nonsense manager and makes sure everything is working and perfect! If you go on the weekend you are sure to get terrible service. When I was looking to purchase my home one of the benefits was the fact that there was a Wawa directly across the street from my neighborhood and on the weekends I could run over get my morning coffee and come back home. The last few weeks I have gotten dressed and went over to be disappointed that they have the machine closed because they are too lazy to keep it clean and just throw a white sheet over it and says "CLOSED" It's not broken they literally just put a white sheet over it and said closed because they don't want to bother with the machine...ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME🤬🧐🤭 so I have to go go back home get in my car and drive 5+ miles to another Wawa and get my coffee the last two weekends because of pure laziness : I have had several employees ranting and raving and expressing their feelings about this particular machine on the weekend. Corporate needs to step in and re-higher night time and weekend staff or this Wawa is going to be doomed. I feel like the only Hope for the store as far as the evenings go I think her name is Shirley. She takes her job very serious and when is dealing with a customer puts the customer first.I am a GM of A storeSo I know the struggles of employees, the importance of customer service etc. something needs to happen here.
hoagies
I was visiting the Medford Wawa on Route 70 and happened to encounter something amazing during the holidays. I witnessed an elderly female probably in her 70s request soup and a sandwich only to leave and then drop said sandwich on the ground outside. This woman was very distraught as she brought the soup and sandwich back in and asked for a new one. Instead of being angry, a young woman behind the counter named Chelsea Mcquillen had a very positive attitude and kindly said that she would make her another. It was very clear they did not know each other but Chelsea was so kind to this woman and even gave her a big hug and said happy holidays afterwards. There should be more people like the young woman behind the counter.
breakfast food
I tried a Nreakfast Bowl this morning as a treat. The Bowl continued Egg White(s), Bacm, Spinach and Cheddar Cheese (I suppose only to the biwl a bit of color). The end result tastes a bit like bacon and spinach - nothing more. And to wait nearly ten (10) minutes for same when the WaWa was not especially busy - not really acceptable.
For the price, I truly feel there is simply not enough food. Better would be to stick with a Biscuit or Bagel Sandwich, though not as healthy.
Or perhaps save the trip to WaWa
the staff at the ridley wawa.
Went to wawa with my friend last night it was 1145-12. I was getting a cup of coffee i was putting the cream and sugar in the cup a worker reached over me didnt say excuse...nothin. There was a young man that works for wawa saying how much he hates working for wawa. He was very loud. The the girl at the register didnt even make eye contact with us when we were paying and my friend paid with a crexit card and she didnt even tell her the total of her order. So needless to say I was very disappointed in our trip to Wawa and we are in that store many times a week and to top everything off or coffee was cold very very upset
deli pizza
dear Wawa,
so around a year ago you had the Wawa pizza. I and my friend were talking today and it reminded me of the Wawa pizza the deli sold. I understand it was "your least selling item" but personally I don't think it was. All of the people I know all loved to get your hot fresh pizzas with soft crusts. Now that I can no longer order the pizza, my Wawa visits have been limited. My family rarely goes now because there is nothing tempting us to. Please bring the pizza back it would make many customers happy
roasted vegetable shortie hoagie
I ordered a toasted veggie sandwich with horseradish sauce. I got a veggie sandwich, not toasted and enough horseradish for 5 sandwiches. Trying to eat it anyway, I took a bite and there was bacon on it. I do not eat meat. Not only was the sandwich poorly made, it had meat. I expected more from wawa, but seeing as how this is not the first time meat has been put on my sandwich I don't think I can eat the food anymore. Please train the staff better. Thankfully I noticed before I ate it.
customer service
I stopped at the WAWA in Brandywine, MD for a cup of coffee before work. The coffee person was rude. I asked if there was anymore "holiday flavor" coffee in which she pointed to the "closed" sign and made a rude comment about "can't you see it says no more". There was another pot behind it (at most WAWA's it usually means it's fresh and waiting to be put up) so I mentioned it and she snapped and told me "there is no more". I was going to complain to the counter person taking my money but she was rude too! Wow...what is going on in that store that everyone is so rude. What happened to customer service. I visit WAWA almost everyday (different locations) and everyone is always pleasant. This is how you loose customers...it just takes one person.
register
On at least 4 occasions I was shorted change from the automatic change dispenser . All 4 times the cashier gave me what I was short but who knows how many times I was shorted without catching it . I think you need to get rid of the coin dispenser . It works when it is loaded but when it is busy in there I'm sure the cashier is not thinking about refilling it .
service
Went to the Thorndale, PA wawa with my wife on 12/01 to get a coffee and milkshake. My wife also thought about getting a cinnamon roll but changed her mind and put it back. I went to pay for the coffee and shake only to find an employee blocking my wife from leaving accusing her of of eating the cinnamon roll(which she put back) and not paying for the shake(which I paid for). When the register teller confirmed I paid for the shake the employee demanded I pay for the cinnamon roll that was put back. I showed the employee the cinnamon roll rack was full but all she kept yelling is you ate the cinnamon roll and they got it on video/camera. I asked to review the video but was denied. Very embarrassing situation and all the manager was yelling to us is just leave, just leave! Never again will I or my family buy from wawa.
management / staff employees
store #580 is a mess you have managers barely working, your general manger is busy worried about other staff members gossiping about their lifes instead of doing there work .
Co-manager Rachel who fired another associate due to her skin color which was clear racist, other managers there are sexually active with other employee and making it known in front of other employees.
Im a local customer at this store i spend my money everyday on non hot food and watered down coffee, somebody needs to go in and check this store out there are always crackheads stealing out the store non-stop, also people asking for money in front of this store panhandling .
unethical behavior
I should have done it sooner, but wanted to give myself time to reflect and get my emotions back in check. About 2 weeks ago, I went to my local Wawa in Waretown, NJ. As i pulled in I noticed a young guy standing outside with a backpack beside him. As soon as I got near him, he asked for money. I said a flat NO. As I am standing in line I see him approach 2 other people and one lady did give him money. It upset me so I went too the manager and told her what was going on outside. her reply was well...I did not see it. I went off and cursed, leaving the store and will NEVER set foot in that store again if that's the way Wawa wants to be represented. I do not think so. I always thought there were No solicitng signs out. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out
food made by employees
The wawa on the white horse pike in Barrington New Jersey is a literal disgrace. I have gone here several times and leave disappointed every time. I asked for a bagel with extra cream cheese and got little to none, also got a buffalo chicken quesadilla that had no buffalo sauce! I've also recently gotten a hoagie with mayonnaise and get back to work just to realize it had absolutely no mayonnaise on it. I will never go to this wawa again it happens every single time I go to this wawa! Why even make it and have me pay for something I did not order.
Have you returned any of the incorrect food along with your receipt to the location of purchase? Or have you at least called to notify the staff to see if they could assist you further?
unprofessionalism with management/lack of educational training with employees
On 11/24/17, at approximately 2:40 pm, I went to your store located on 500 Jimmy Drive Smyrna, DE19977 as I had a blown tire and I needed gas. I am a person requiring a disabled placard. The blown tire was discovered encounter to my destination. As you are aware, this is a safety concern. Despite my condition and having my small child in the car, I was able to maneuver and place the air in the blown tire. The tire continued to hiss as I attempted to cap the valve. Due to my lack of knowledge with cars as my husband and mechanic services them, I thought the hissing was due to the uncapped valve. While attempting to replace the cap with swollen joints, the cap fell in between the rim. I pressed the intercom located at the gas pump to request for assistance near the air pump. A female stated someone will be out there shortly. I continue to hear the hissing sound to the tire as I wait patiently for someone to help retrieve the cap and not lose air in the tire, making it difficult to move the carea for gas and to leave. After waiting over 10 minutes, I press the intercom again. The female told me someone will be out there shortly. After waiting another 5-7 minutes, I press the intercom as I can see the tire is deflating right before my eyes. The female says her manager told her the staff cannot service the air pump. I questioned why this was not relayed 20 minutes before while I waited and spoke to her more than once. I told her I needed gas as well. She tells me she is going to speak to her manager again. At this point, I requested for the manager go come out as the employee is passing messages (Unprofessional) and providing mixed messages as I was initially told someone will come out shortly. After I refused to speak to no one but the manager, Amber comes out of the store. She lacked communication skills during our discussion. Although she relayed after 20 minutes later the staff cannot service the tires (which was not my request), she proceeded to tell me they cannot do oil changes. Her comment was sarcasm and lack of professionalism. I mentioned to her I needed someone to help to remove the cap from around the rim, as I would replace it, but my joints were too swollen to retrieve it. She continued to relay she cannot service my tire. I asked to speak to her manager or corporate as clearly we were not getting anywhere with this dilemma, I was losing air in the tire by the minute, and I needed to obtain gas and possibly locate a tire shop before I am stuck in the middle of the street Wirth mu small child. Amber storms away with no explanation and continued lack of professionalism. A random stranger assisted with adding air to my tire. He informed me the air should not escape with the cap off and the tire will probably need a patch. I was able to move the car to a pump to retrieve gas. I pressed the intercom for assistance. The female told me the manager was looking for me but could not find my car (lies). I told her I still needed help to obtain gas. Another person comes out named Jennifer who asked if I needed gas. I affirmed I did. She gives me the number to corporate and decides to tell me she was off the clock but came back to help me (Unprofessional as this information is irrelevant to a person who does not work here). She then explains she was trying to be polite ( that is a given and mandatory when a customer is providing business. Another unnecessary comment). I spoke to Shandon from your customer service as this is not the first time I've dealt with unprofessional small and lack of education regarding the process to assist disabled patrons. About 2 months ago, I hit the intercom for assistance to pump gas. The male on the intercom told me he could not hear me and told me I needed to come into the store, despite the fact I hot the intercom due to inability to walk into the store. I send my complaint because this lack of professionalism and common sense when troubleshooting issues at this store is going to allow you to lose business and make your business susceptible to lawsuits when dealing with patrons with disabilities.
