So I receive a letter by email on Sunday, December 17, 2017. It is in regard to new banking procedures, to go into effect November, 29, 2017.
Yes, you read this correctly; I get the letter more than 2 weeks after this new procedure goes into effect.
First, some background. We use to have a mortgage with them, in which they changed our 2nd mortgage terms when we got to the closing. Then, as we attempted to refinance, they said we could not. Now, our credit scores were both in the high 700's/low 800's and the balloon payment they said was not predatory, ie. overcharging minorities in majority minority communities. Hmm, none of my co-workers buying in other areas got loans like that I found out later.
So one company decided to transfer the retirement to them from Vanguard. Alright but they never reached out to me. When I called Vanguard, they told me it had been changed to Wells Fargo . I contacted Wells Fargo, they said my account was not authorized because they could not authenticate we lived where we said we did. Wait, we still had our mortgage with them when the transferred occurred but you could not authenticate? Are you corrupt or incompetent?
Going back to my company; they forced Wells Fargo to fix the issue (really, they had to be forced) and of course I had to speak to someone to get access to my online account. Wait, I already had one for the mortgage (yes, this is real.)
Ok, now they have 1 of my retirements but they send me this letter stating they are changing their methods but why did they wait until after they implemented new rules?
I just want my money out of this institution. Cut me a check and I will take it somewhere else.
customer service
I am a Wells Fargo customer and frequent the Chula Vista Broadway and Oxford location..
Today I received extremely rude service from a Teller(Melissa Padilla) and the Lead Teller (Nancy Aguilar).. I came in to deposit my check Into my wife's account who is also a Lead Teller for a different branch of Wells Fargo.. Melissa told me I had I go to the ATM to deposit my check eventhough I had my wife's account info l, 4 different forms of identification which they said no to at first, I was treated as a criminal like I was doing an illegal transaction.. Nancy then came over and they spoke secretly then she proceeded to ask me questions as if I was lying about something.. Ultimately after telling me that my social security card, my other bank card wouldnt work as second form of Identification they told me I could use my Costco Card of all the things..
I feel that the service was VERY unprofessional and I don't feel treated with respect..
I hope that someone will make Nancy Aguilar(Lead Teller) and Melissa Padilla (Teller) aware you cannot treat customers with the attitude and disrespect they treated me with..
Thank you!
Respectfully,
Alexander Brown
I am complaining about a bank manager
Hello, my name is Dawn Rogers and I am married to Clarence Bland, who has an account with Wells Fargo. I have been diagnosed with cancer since may of 2017 and have been getting disability checks since then from my jobs benefits. I have been depositing my checks into my husband's account at Wells Fargo and everyone has always been so sweet. I lost my account because of being sick there was no activity so it was closed. Tonight we went to Your Chamberlain branch in Richmond VA and after depositing my checks in his account the manager told us we couldn't because it was a insurance check and it would be returned. We explained to her that we have been doing this for weeks now she wasn't trying to hear us and was very cold and rude about it. We both were shocked embarrassed and hurt we knew she was not telling the truth she was just simply lying. We wait and depend on my check to help with household bills and groceries. That night we were going to pay the person who picked us up to cash my check and get groceries. The time was close to 6:00 pm to late to try another Bank. I am looking forward to going back to work on Jan. 3rd and was looking forward to trying to open an account with Wells Fargo. I hope you do contact this lady and ask her why would she lie, humiliate and really hurt a family that was depending on that 292.16 not enough to embarrass a future customer?
card fraudulent use
call customer care and the representative/manager service was horrible. Supervisor by the name Gabrielle stated that's fine to complain and no guarantee of my funds to my account. Reference number U490334347 in which I was told rudely. I'll not continue to bank with Wells Fargo having to call and rep disrupt me asking questions. Also not having answers to the questions I was asking. Very poor customer service
payment help
I called the number that's showing online for payment services.
It's December 7 and my mortgage is due December 01. I am a month behind on my 7 year home.
I have to come up with $3K+ by January 01 to stay current.
I called to see my option for mortgage repayment plan.
The first person I talked too said that I have to pay a down payment of $1, 500+ by December then starting January 06 my repayment will start which will increase to 2, 063 because it will add the December mortgage and it will be like that for 3 months.
So where is the help here? with this option I now have to come up with 1, 500+ and 2, 063 by January!
so she transferred me to home modification. and that call agent is dump! She can't even say the details of it. She just keep saying modification! so it's a waste talking to her she pout me on a 20 min hold before I decide to hang up. I will call again tomorrow. I spend 3.5 hours of my day today talking to people who doesn't know what their doing!
"evergreen" credit loan
Wells Fargo bank officers promoted an "Evergreen" credit financing to me. The guaranteed credit line required that I provide ample security to support the credit loan that was never to be removed, as long as the security was secured and provided. I spend the money for this type of financing believing the information given to me by banking officials.
After five years WF gave notice that the program was being dismantled under the provisions of a "Disclaimer" Statement that was referenced in the provided loan documentation. The disclaimer provided WF authority to end the credit loan at any time. My complaint is that WF did not provide, did not discuss, a copy of the Disclaimer. It would not make sense to spend consider funds to obtain a loan that could be arbritraily closed the next day! WF committed fraud by the way they arranged the application process and if auto cancellation were a part of the loan it would be a part of the signed loan documentation, and loan officers would discus such wide authority WF demanded in the documentations.
Went through much to meet the loan requirements of a credit loan that was assured to be forever (at given terms) so long as the security remained solid.
After a few years WF notified me that the loan program was being cancelled. WF indicated that they were permitted to cancel at any time given their reference to a "Disclosure Statement" that was not ever discussed or included. A power to cancel a loan on the following day after the client was required to spend much time and money to provide the security, based on a Disclosure that was not a part of the signed documentation. To mention a Disclosure that was not provided, or discussed was a ploy by the bank to screw the customer

someone call to help me,
atm error bank refuses to acknowledge
I went to the Wells Fargo branch located at 1121 S. Broad St., Trenton, NJ. on Saturday 12/2/17 at approximately 1 PM, to withdraw funds from 2 seperate cards, (Families First, & Direct Express). I was to then deposit the money into my Wells Fargo checking account to pay the months rent, (due by 12/5), and to purchase groceries on 12/6/17.
I first tried to withdraw from the Families First card. The ATM displayed a screen that simply said, "Cannot Complete Transaction." I assume there is an issue on the card's end that I need to resolve, so I then try to withdraw the monthly disability funds from the Direct Express card, and I get the same error. Now I assume the ATM must be out of money. I go to the alternate ATM located at the front of the same branch. To complete my transactions only to find that although the ATM did not dispense any money whatsoever, both cards showed the withdrawals as valid.
On Monday morning I contacted the bank and was told that it could take 3-5 days to resolve their machine's error. I then explained that my rent would become overdue on Tuesday, 12/5, and I would then be charged a late fee. I requested a simple letter stating there was a malfunction with their ATM, to give to my landlord to explain the lateness. I was told that the bank does not give out any letters or anything in writing. I escalated my issue to Wells Fargo's executive complaint department, [protected]). I spoke with Jesse Okoi at length. After placing me on several extended holds i was finally told that the bank could not do anything because they are not their cards. I reminded him of the fact that the problem was a direct result of their ATM's malfunction, and further they could simply view the security camera footage to substantiate my story. Still nothing offered. Finally before ending the call I explained to him that these were the only funds that a family below the poverty level will receive all month and that this problem will directly result in my inability to pay my rent or purchase food. I further informed him that I planned to contact my local newspaper, The Trentonian, and well as to make this known on every social media site possible since they won't even as much as acknowledge the error. I was asked to wait, then was placed on hold once again, and when Jesse returned he asked me I wanted exactly. I explained that I of course need the money refunded, but in the interim I would be willing to wait if they would just give me something to give my landlord, if the money hasn't been restored by Tuyesday, 15/5, as my rent is due today. He agreed to these terms, told me that he will be arriving to the office at 9AM CST, and that I was given priority status for then, as wel as a case #3445588. 12/5/17
I finally receive a call from Jesse at 12:08 PM, and to the point Jesse's entire outlook on the situation has changed when I told him the money had not yet been returned. He stated that he never said that I would be furnished with a letter for my landlord, and further reverted to his original position of Wells Fargo's lack of any fault. I told him that I was through with the bank and that I would attempt to resolve my issue via alternate routes that I described the previous day.
As I am typing this I receive another call from Jesse at approximately 1PM which states that I should call the cardholders and remind them of "Regulation E, " to get them to address my claim.
I will continue to publish this factual account regarding Wells Fargo's handling, or I should say mishandling of this situation. I will also be forwarding this to any and all reporters and or/newspaper editors that I can find contact information for until this situation is resolved. If this matter is resolved is a positive manner I will be sure to follow up with that experience as well.
I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties in this matter Michael. I can't say that Wells Fargo is wrong in this instance as they are a third party in this whole thing.
I have extensive I.T. background and prefer not using A.T.M.s for this very reason.
Unfortunately it's just going to take time. Keep us informed.
not giving me the information to get something off the loan
My mother and I went to wells fargo to get a debt consolidation loan in 2008. For yrs she paid. She passed away 3 yrs ago, and I inherited the house. To my surprise in july of 2008 the add a beneifiacal accoutt to her debt loan. Yes I have fallen behind on paymenyds. But, for 5-6 months know ive been trying to getthem to explain how it went in to a mortgage. That should have been taken off (the beneifical) that was my mothers bill. I should not be held responsible for that one. So, as of today I have 2 opions, pay what I owe or sell. Not happening till they take that $54 thousand off I don't see a problem my mother has died don't put that one on me. They will not do a modification I don't make enough money. Please help
atm
My husband and I used a Wellsfargo ATM to pull money from our EDD card to pay our rent. We excepted the fees and a notice popped up saying could not process. So we called our cards immediately and the money was taken off our cards but never dispensed the funds. All together the ATM took $900. That was for our rent. Now we have to wait for the funds to be issued back to our accounts leaving us late on our rent and having to pay late fees because of some network error on Wellsfargos behalf. We are both on Disability and can't afford to have extra fees tacked on to our rent. Especially at Christmas time
Thank you I will
You Nd hundreds other had the same thing happen. File a complaint with the FDIC website has an on link complaint form. Takes under 10 minutes to complete
late fees charged
I am sending automatic checks via my bank. I was charged 2 late fees in a row each month. The second late fee was $37 + $1 for minimum interest charge (what the hell is the additional $1 for?!) When I called, they say "AS A COURTESY we can remove your last Late fee" (they can't remove /waive the other one).
HOWEVER... when I ask for proof that my payments came in late... I heard crickets! The representative I was talking to COULD NOT PROVIDE ME PROOF OR ANY SORT OF DOCUMENTATION THAT MY PAYMENTS WERE LATE.
*~*~*~RED FLAG *~*~*~ Think I'll pursue this further - complaints, BBB, State Attorney General, etc. Crook! Did not like how they created 2000 fake accounts either! My appliance company I purchase appliances from uses Wells Fargo and they will also be notified. As will social media, etc. I'm sure I"m not alone in the Wells Fargo Complaint dept!
customer see
I been a customer of Wells Fargo Bank for a very long time and never had any issues, till today when I went to smaller and new for me branch on 11377 West Olympic Blv, Los Angeles, CA 90064. This morning, I needed to get a cashier's check for $1500, and I asked for a manager to ask to waive the $10 fees for the cashier's check as a courtesy. Instead of manager came Mary Villanueva ( Operations Supervisor) by looking at me, she instantly rejected me with a very bad attitude. I was shocked the way she spoke to me. I asked again for a manager. When manager came after talking with Mary Villanueva, I knew that he be reject me too, because Mary Villanueva has whole control of this branch, even manager which name is Jonpaul Gauthier was following her roles. I told him, that I called Wells Fargo bank and they told me that any Wells Fargo brunch can waive one time fees as a courtesy. He just sad your account not qualify with a mean face. He didn't care I was a customer almost for a 20 years. This brunch has poor, rude and unprofessional employees, like Mary Villanueva and Jonpaul Gauthier. Mary Villanueva thinks that she is a queen of this branch and she can treat customers whatever she likes, and has whole control over a weak manager Jonpaul Gauthier. Please pay attention to this small branch on 11377 West Olympic Blv, LA, CA 90064. They can do whatever they want. I had the most worst experience at this branch. I left this place shacking, hurt and very angry.
visa
Have been a Wells Fargo bank customer for 25 years and a WF Visa customer for 22 years. Have over 800 credit score. Disputed a charge for mechanical work on my truck. Repair shop owner was a pathological liar and bonafide crook. Had my truck for 7 months. Told me I needed new heads because it wouldn't start - $3500.00 labor plus $1200.00 for parts. Did not fix problem. Also heads not installed properly. Pouring out oil. Destroyed two Optima batteries. Replaced fuel pump didn't need etc. Supplied WF with detailed info- pictures, texts with false promises of completion week after week, detailed narrative of damage to truck, faulty repair, parts I didn't need ($250.00 part fixed problem) and testimonal from 3 other shops about faulty repair. Wells Fargo screwed up dispute, didn't read all my documents and closed dispute. Wrote to Sloan (CEO) - nothing done. I have closed my bank accounts and cancelled my credit card. Completely incompetent, no customer service attitude bank. Read about dummy account scandal and Dept. Of Justice.
holding my direct deposit pay
They typically hold my direct deposit pay of friday until the end of day. If I call they lie and say we don't see it posted. Liars. But the truth is their software is programmed to not even show that it is posted. Therefore they can say well we don't see the post.
Well today being the day before thanksgiving 11-22-17 they screwed me completely and didn't release my check at all. I so want to sue these [censor].
By the way my check is direct deposit into two accounts. Usaa I had money from the time I woke up this morning at 6am. Wells fargo [censor] didn't even release my funds at all.
Wells fargo is [censor]... Wells fargo complaint... Wells fargo scam report... Wells fargo complaints board...
release of deed of trust lien
Please send me the name and address of the party to whom I should write in order to get a release of deed of trust lien on a real estate lien note that has now been paid in full. An e-mail address would be great.
The lender was Bank of North Texas that is now part of Wells Fargo Bank and the loan was to ACE World Companies many years ago and the loan was paid in full many years ago - but the borrower never rec'd the lien release to file of record or the bank failed to do so.
Thanks.

payment
During The storm (IRMA) my husband and I evacuated to Atlanta. To make a long story short. We were told that because of the storm many businesses in Georgia were giving disaster relief to those who where effected by the storm.
Mortgage payment, Car payments, etc. were deferring payments. So we called Wells Fargo to find out if this was true . The gentleman we spoke with told us this could be done and the payments could be placed at the end of our Mortgage. So we decided to do this. Up to this point we always made our payments on time and never missed a payment. A few days ago we received paper work stating we were seriously delinquent and it could result in the loss of our home. Now before we went this route, we spoke with two gentleman one name was Samuel just to make sure this was not a hoax. So now we are told we have no recourse but to pay all the money back. Someone lied to us and got us into this situation. We are disappointed with Wells Fargo. I think Mr. Sloan CEO should hear about this. He said he wanted to build trust and you can't do that when you lie to your customers. James & Carolyn B Allen, 106 White Oak Dr.N E, Ludowici, GA. 31316. acct# [protected]
customer service
We, fernandes degennaro & associates - richard a. Fernandes, have been trying to get signed copies of three loan agreements for over a month, so that we can pay them off with a refinance by suntrust bank. All we have received are templates. We need the original, signed agreements for our accounts ending in 2134, 0001, and 0019. I don't understand the problem here and am very upset with your bank.
bank account with the same name
I received a call from Wells Fargo Bank in orlando, claiming one of their teller made an error by making a deposit in my account. Just so happens the person who's making the deposit in their account have the same name as mine. This other "me", made a deposit in their account only using his id but didn't give the teller his account number. Last time I check, the only to differentiate people with the same names is called account number! My issue is the same way you can make a deposit into my account without knowledge, so can you withdrawal from my account without my knowledge.
My suggestion to you (Wells Fargo ), you need to retrain your employees on dealing with people with the same name.
Needless to say, I will be closing my account
fraud claim
I'll try not to be too confusing.
On 10/27/17 we filed a fraud claim against a bank called Freedom Financial. Claim# [protected]. After investigating further we realized the charge was legitimate and we called Freedom Financial and arranged for payment in full with our Wells Fargo checking account ([protected]) I then called the claims dept. at Wells Fargo and requested the claim be cancelled. Today is 11/13 and the payment to Freedom Financial still hasn't debited our account so I looked at our recent statement from Freedom Financial and there is a NSF fee for 15.00 and new interest of 12.63. When I called Freedom Financial they explained the check was returned because payment was stopped. So I called Wells Fargo and I was told the stop payment should have been removed manually on 10/27 but was not. When I requested to be reimbursed for the new fees at Freedom Financial for Wells Fargo's error I was told that was not possible, but a letter would be sent to Freedom Financial requesting their fee's be waived. I then called Freedom Financial and was told a letter would not make any difference. I'm sure the details of todays phone calls are recorded at your end. I am more than willing to fax a copy of the statement showing the fees incurred at Freedom Financial. Its really just a matter of principal now. Why should I have to pay Freedom Financial 27.63 for a mistake made by your company? And if Wells Fargo will not reimburse me please provide me with the reason in writing. If you have any questions or need any documents I can be reached at home [protected] or [protected] (new cell...the old one [protected] no longer works).
Thank you for your time, Melissa Ettesvold
