I am a Veteran, disabled, retired after 28-years military, and a Pentagon 9/11 Survivor. I stopped by the Wendy's in Key Largo FL on Sat, 21 Oct 23, and ordered a meal in the drive-thru. When I paid, I asked the (looked like the) manager at the window, if I could get a cup of water for my service dog. He refused. We spoke back and forth, but he just didn't want to be accommodating.
Next, as he was handing me my order (I had already paid for it), I refused to accept it and told him to shove it up his [censored], and drove away. I went next door to BURGER KING, did NOT order anything, and the nice lady at the window, happily and smiling, provided me a full cup of water for my dog! I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE ANOTHER WENDY'S.
I am active with the Boy Scouts, my religious center, son's school, homeowner's association, and veterans organizations (VFW and American Legion). I will speak about this, on all social media platforms, every week, for at least the next year. This store is a franchise which needs to change to a company store!
Desired outcome: HAVE WENDY'S CORPORATE TAKE OVER THIS PARTICULAR FRANCHISE OPERATION !
