Wow, we rarely are able to eat out, as it's too costly, but were very busy with errands and ran way over lunchtime, so stopped at Wendy's. My husband was hungry for a burger and I wanted a Frosty.
Start with there was a VERY long line, and the 2 behind the counter seemed WAY overwhelmed with what was happening. It seemed quite a few people were at lunch breaks, and we saw at least 6 people leave the restaurant before ordering. We were off work that day, so decided to wait. I won't get into detail to explain every little thing, but with numerous tickets up on roundabout and only 2 counter guys, they were very slow, looked lost, confused, just wandering around, in absolutely no hurry to try to get orders out quicker. Our order taker didn't smile or greet us in any way, just looked at me, waiting for me to order, I guess. I did, and he seemed to get that part done properly.
We then waited for over 20 minutes, and after getting food, burger was lukewarm, fries were COLD and the container wasn't even half filled. They forgot my nuggets, and when mentioned, they did give me those quite quickly, but forgot my sauce. I asked and did receive.
Very disappointed, and obviously we weren't going to complain about cold food and have to stand and wait another 20 minutes, or who knows how long ? Also, just in case anyone's interested, the store itself was SO HOT we could barely stand it, tried sitting near the window to get colder air from outside on us so we could tolerate eating in-store. Save your electric, turn heat down from 90 to something manageable ! However, my Frosty was delicious !
Claimed loss: $10.00 - the frosty was the only good thing :)
Desired outcome: Coupon, would be willing to try this store one more time to see if improvement ??
