Settlement amount on outstanding debts
I am the executrix of my husband's estate and have approached Wesbank for a settlement on all vehicles owned by him. It was agreed that I voluntarily surrender the vehicles and it will be sold on auction of which I have. I have it on record where the consultant confirmed that any outstanding balances will be written off if there is not sufficient cash in the bank account of our joint estate. Almost immediately after the undertaking and agreement was made the consultant handed over the accounts to debt collectors to recover the shortfall.
I was shocked to be informed of this sudden move as I now believe the bank did not negotiate in good faith. I have made an offer towards the settlement amount which is even more than I have in my bank account as I really thought the bank acted in good faith and will be ethical at all times. Why would they make an undertaking and to the complete opposite?
Desired outcome: For the bank to honor their undertaking.

I have been requesting Wesbank for the last three months to amend my debit order from the 25th to the 26th of each month or to the end of the month as our salaries are now being paid on the 26th.
I am being advised to use the wesbank app which I have tried downloading but the app refuses to accept the OTP that is being sent to me.
That is why I resorted to emailing [protected]@wesbank.co.za.
I received an email on the 13th May confirming that they are unable to get hold of me to resolve the query.
I confirm that I have not received a call throughout the 13th May .Secondly why can my query not been resolved by merely amending the debit order date.
Is my request that difficult to resolve?

Obtaining the natis documents for two paid-up vehicles
Good day.
I wish to find out if you can assist me regarding an issue with Wesbank regarding the original Natis documents of 2 paid up vehicles. I have been struggling for quite a while now, and they keep asking me for senseless information.
I requested they send it to the FNB branch, but they are sending mails back and forth. It really feels as if though they does not wish to assist me in this matter.
Desired outcome: The delivery of the requested documents, at the FNB branch, in the town I reside in.

Ive made full and final settlements .
Wesbank tells me to get car papers from the dealership , and dealership says that wesbank had collected the papers already.

Requesting border letter for financed vehicle.
I've been requesting a border letter since last friday, with no response. What else can i do. I need the letter by wednesday 16 march 2022.

Vehicle finance refund/overpayment made
On 4 February 2022, I phoned customer care after receiving a settlement letter indicating a penalty interest of approximately R30 000. Settlement figure R1209 010.86 I asked for a discount and Wesbank graciously gave me a revised settlement letter for R1 184 013,33.
Unfortunate ly my bank has already processed my payment of R1 209 010.86 resulting in overpayment of R24 997,53. I have numerous calls and email inter actions with the usual reply it has been escalated. After being very patient I spoke to the manager Offense, who promised it would be paid Monday 28 February, Monday evening he phone to say there were a delay and will be paid Tuesday. I still have not been paid nor be communicated to.
All I want is for Wesbank to honor their last settlement letter, refund me as I have done on all my installments on various loans. I also expect interest on this amount and my time spend on this. If Wesbank is experiencing cashflow problems I'm happy to enter into plan with you to pay me of.
Desired outcome: Honor your agreement/Settlement letter. Refund me immediately, with Interest on the amount at 8 % which is the rate you charged me for lending money. Compensate me for numerous calls and email and my Time spend on this.Apologize
Transfer ow ownership and Natis papers
Since October 2021 I have been trying (via email and phone calls) to obtain the RC1 Natis documents for a vehicle that has been fully paid since 2010. The transfer of ownership and RC1 papers were never done. I have submitted all the required forms (via email) at least 6 times now and every time the communication stops and I have to submit again. Settlement of vehicle at Wesbank: I phoned on 2nd of Dec 2021 and received a settlement quote on 3rd of December @ 09:17am. I settled the vehicle same day and sent them POP @ 12:46. After over 200 minutes spent on the phone since (at my cost), more than 15 e-mails sent with proof of everything as well as a complaint logged on their wesbank self help portal...

They canceled the debit order, am being hareassed by unnecessary calls, when I forwad the pop they dont update am not sure what are they trying to do, I have paid the march premium that was outstanding due to the bank cancelling the debit order, I couldn't be forced to pay it as they wanted me to, anyway I have paid it Keitumetse and Tjeppe were forwarded the pop no updates no response, are they dealing with me personal cause it now looks like the personal issue, am capable of fighting if that's what they want, fir now I need the seevixe that I they are paid to do nothing else they must do their job, am not going to be forced to a debit order while I have been paying throughout the whole year never missed any premium, I need those calls and messages to stop 😡am sure there are so many people they can run after or is this a raxial thing cause its whites and colored who have been calling me and they were rude hence I decided ded to block your calls, can this be stopped

Proof of Insurance
I am experiencing major problems with Wesbank with regards to them requiring proof of Insurance.
Firstly, we received a few sms's stating that they have tried to call but there was no answer.. that is total BS, because there wer no calls from them and there are no missed calls registered to indicate that any call was ever made.
Secondly, Proof of Insurance was provided to them before the vehicle was even released from the dealership, so what proof of Insurance do they need now? I then indulged them in their games and called my insurance to get an updated confirmation letter, which i emailed to Wesbank.
Oh, did I forget to mention that Wesbank took it upon themselves to Insure my vehicle and just added the costs to my account without any authorization? In which universe is that ethical?
Anyway, this morning I called the Customer Care line to confirm that they have received the documents and that the additional charges would be removed from the account. To my dismay, the call centre agent was completely USELESS! He could not even assist by checking whether the account was updated.
What kind of Business is Wesbank running? This "Bank" needs to be investigated.

Unethical behaviour
I voluntary surrendered my vehicle financed by Wesbank back to them as I am not working.
On 11 October 2021 I received an SMS message from Annelie Coetseeon informing me that my car had been sold, I contacted her to get more information about the shortfall or process, instead her colleague responded to say I must wait for an email that will state everything.
I received email stating the capital amount of the car and vehicle details but nothing about amount sold for and shortfall.
on 8 November 2021 I received SMS message from Hammond and Pole Attorneys that my account has been handed over to them for collection, without getting how much do I owe after the car has been sold and not given an opportunity to make arrangements for payment.
After that I consistently receiving these messages, I decided to enquire from Wesbank what is happening, I was given a name of Pamella to contact that I sent an email to her. I also contacted these Attorneys to clarify the situation but instead I was sent an email threatening me that my name will be blacklisted. that gets me worried.
Desired outcome: I would like Wesbank to contact me about my account and for payment arrangements. Attorneys be withdrawn from the account
Payment arrangement refusal
I have received the worst customer service or treatment at wesbank. I have applied for a payment holiday because i have been temporarily laid off at work and provided proof from the employer that i would be at work in 3 months but Westbank refused my request and are now threatening to take my account to lawyers if i dont pay my installment for 3 months, how unreasonable is this, what was the point of selling their own credit cover if they knew that it won't cover in terms temporary layoff if they knew that they don't have a payment holiday program, and in that point why would a bank not have a payment holiday if they truly cared about their customers, is it my fault that i have been laid-off at work that my name has to tarnished because of it🤷🏾♀️

I bought car via westbank and finished paying it off around 2011 and never received the papers for the car, then in 2021 I wanted to sell the car and called to enquire about the papers for the car and was told that I needed to pay R 350.00 for the courier of the papers that was in july 2021 till now November after countless calls still nothing.

Re: Westbank Account motivation declined on false information, plea to resolve payment issues
To whom it may concern,
My name is Naseema Ebrahiem, ID [protected], account number [protected].
I have been a loyal client for as long as a remember with Westbank. My account was always up to date however due to Covid 2021 has proved to be a challenge due to non employment. The nature of my job involves engaging with client and sales face to face and this impacted due to restrictions. I tried during the period of 2021 to pay as much as could but have run out of my savings. I have since engaged with Westbank and the attorneys on several occasions to assist. I have defaulted in January 2021 for the first time and in March I paid 4000 and later in the year 17000.00
I have pleaded with Westbank with a motivation to assist me, they have comeback with non negotiations to assist as my account has been handed over. The information relayed was that I owed monies since 2019, This is false, my statements clearly shows defaults only in 2021.
I have the statements as hardcopies to prove I have paid since then
I pleaded for an appointment with Westbank to show prove of the statements, however I was told they work form home.
I have been to Westbank to make payments and was referred to a consultant by the name of Aubrey, He is the 1 I am engaging with to resolve my issue but was told that Westbank cannot assist.
I would like to pay up all arrears and attorney costs and willing to sign a reengagement of payment monthly. At this stage I cannot afford the whole amount due on the car which is around 200k however I am trying pay up the whole amount in a few months. I have also related this to Westbank
I do not want my car to be repossessed and would not be able to purchase for the next 5 years, I am trying to resolve my current situation
Apparently, the Sherriff was at my home and left summon papers however not with or my household members, I had been given this by the neighbours, I understand tis is not how it should be handled. Had I received it at the time I would have made some sought of arrangement.
I understand my responsibilities, but I feel I was treated unfairly when I have pleaded to make payments.
I s this not unjust? Is it not in both the banks interest as well as mine that payments will be made so that I can save the car.According to me understanding and from what I was told when I signed my contract if I default with payments I must make arrangements with the bank, I tried very to make as much payments with all the savings I had and had spoken to a consultant in Westbank and the attorneys.
I Humbly request to take my complaint into consideration that I was firstly confused with another account as from my statements you will see that my default is from 2021 only.
Please can I request help to resolve the matter I am prepared to pay the arrears and attorney fees and continue paying the instalments until I can pay up the car in a few months

SDS motors- The car was a right off and was financed through Wesbank
On the 04/06/21, I purchased a 2016 Hyundai i20 from SDS motors, when I viewed the car the sales person Lerlin told us that the car was in a accident but was only hit from behind, it was not a major accident. We agreed to take the car and financed it through Westbank. After a month of having the car, I took it to a panel shop where the found that this car was in a major accident and is rebuilt in a terrible condition. On the 7/07/21, I reported these findings to Wesbank I was then told to get proof to state these findings. I took the vehicle to AA-DEKRA to have a technical report done and in the report you can see that the vehicle was rebuilt. The Case got handed over to Aatish Maharaj, who has done absolutely nothing to help. When I sent him the report from AA-DEKRA, he then stated that he doesn't see anything wrong, he does not know what to look for. These are the people Westbank has working to help solve our problems! We then called him and complained and on the call and he said that he is close friends with the person that owns the dealership and "he don't think they would do something like that". Isn't this a conflict of interest?
It has been 3months of ongoing issues, I now have a problem with the gearbox and 2 of my doors have problems opening, the service light came on about 3 weeks after having the car. I have brought all of the to the attention of Aatish Maharaj and he has not helped one bit. I can't even use the vehicle anymore because of these problems, I am paying for something that is just sitting now. I am extremely frustrated and dissatisfied by this. And according to my knowledge rebuilt cars cannot be financed and sold through dealerships.

Contract extencion
I received an email from karen Cassim from Wesbank telling me that my balloon payment is due on the 20th of November 2021 so it said if im not paying it off in cash I can do an extension on my contract for the balloon payment I chose that option and they told me and error has occurred they will get back to me before end of business day and they don't get back to me I call everyday and still don't get answers and how is it my problem that an error has occurred they don't even explain to me why. Today she called me told me telling me I should refinance and I asked what happened to the extension option I still don't get any answers or explanation now im forced to choose what doesn't make me happy I've been a loyal customer for five years I haven't missed a single payment or late payment and this is the treatment I get
