2008 BMW GS 1200 MOTORCYCLE
In April 2021, I purchased a 2008 BMW GS 1200 motorcycle through WesBank from Gijima Motors in Vereeniging with a deposit of R30 000.
Since then, the motorcycle is more in the workshop which the dealer recommended who the are dealing with.
On numerous occasions, we contacted the salesman from Gijima, Romano Muller with faults on the engine, where he told us to take it to the mechanic at The Diesel Shop in Vereeniging
My husband took the motorcycle back there 2 weeks ago with an vibration in the engine, just to hear today that the mechanic in struggling to fix it.
Previously I phoned WesBank with the problems, and I even wrote emails to WesBank previously with complaints.
Needless to say, I want to cancel my contract and deal of the motorcycle because I can not pay an installment and insurance every month for something I do not have.
I would really appreciate it if you can help me.

Broken vehicle
Hi
To whom it may concern,
Today I am writing this email as a very disappointed client. Who is very deeply disappointed in the service I am receiving. I signed an agreement on the 13.08.2021 with Kilokor motors. Kilokor was very professional at first when they offered me to finance the vehicle Kia Picanto 1.1 Striker 2010 module. They guided me step by step through the whole process I even paid a payment of R38000 just for the bank to approve my finance which made me very happy because I could not get approved no where else Amanda at Kilokor was very professional and all the other staff, but than the whole unprofessionalism occurred. The day when I took the car on the 13.08.2021 I heard the car clutch was to stiff. As a first time driver I did not know what that means but I took the car anyway. They promised me that they will fix the clutch which was our agreement. I looked beyond it because I knew if I send the car for a service the clutch will be fixed. Than the vehicle went for the service came back and started giving all kinds of problems which I was not happy about. I tried asking why this vehicle they sold to me is giving this problems I was promised that they will fix it but still came back broken. The gears gave problems, the car lost power so I am not happy with what I was offered because it is not what I signed up for. to top it all of I keep getting promises after promises and I am sick and tired of broken promises so I am deciding I no longer want this vehicle its either they refund my money back or they give me a other vehicle because what is still broken in this car? The garage is unprofessional and all the other staff because they forever taking hours to get back to me so please don't let them call me I specifically want Wes bank to call me and handle this matter as urgent as possible. I mean I am paying on the car and all I am receiving is poor pathetical service. I am working for Motus and I know my rights. I specifically financed a car so that I do not have to struggle getting from one point to another but seems like I am more in a situation than ever before so what I am saying is give my money back or give me a new vehicle because I know my consumer rights and I deserve better than this incompetent service receiving so far. The car is at the Garage I have the curtesy vehicle. I would like feedback before the cooling of period is over or I am taking matters Further.

Defective Ford Ranger
During December 2020 I, Cathleen Beukes [protected] purchased a Ford Ranger D/cab 2014 model, through a garage called SHAREACAR in Klerksdorp. The bakkie was delivered on the fifth of December 2020. The ODO reading was 152000 km.
I travelled twice to the Western Cape and add plus minus 5000 km on the clock. On the 11th of January 2021 I reported to the salesman that there is a serious knocking sound in the engine. The engine was spilling diesel and leaking oil and the engine was overheating. The oil and water got mixed because of the defective oil coolers. The salesman told me they are going to fix the problem and instructed me to go to Ford Human Auto garage in Kimberley. Ford actually preferred a new engine for the bakkie but the salesman offered to fix the bakkie themselves.
The salesman, Werner came and took the bakkie during late February 2021. As from February the salesman made a lot of promises saying that the bakkie will be fixed in a month but we are still waiting for the bakkie till this point in time. The last promise was made on Friday for a delivery but the bakkie is still not fixed and we are not actually interested in this bakkie anymore. The bakkie is still in possession of SHAREACAR since February.
Desired outcome: Rather another bakkie in the same price range.

Never get through to the offices
Hi
I have been trying to get hold of Wesbank Botswana for almost 3 months now and it is just impossible to get through to them.
Numbers I used are 3706717, 3706000, 3706188
I need vehicle statements from them to proceed with other FNB accounts and their service delivery makes it impossible. The client has to beg the service provider for service?
This is extremely poor service.
Desired outcome: Get me in contact with someone to assist me

-I Pule Marota, Brought my account up to date on the 30/03/2019. Email was sent to Wes bank on 02/03/2019 notifying them about the status of my account. I paid R17500.00 to recover the arrear amount in 1 month.
-Wes bank kept quiet, they didn't respond.
-Wes bank increased my instalment without notifying me.
-They don't send statements to me anymore.
-i complained to Wes bank about the instalment being increased, but they didn't respond.
-They (Wes bank) continued adding legal fees.
-I continued making payments under the pretext that everything is in order.
-They keep on adding interest on the account even if it is running positive.
-On the 4th of October repossession happened. When they came to uplift the vehicle, I asked how much am I owing they said R1445.00.( I have a statement to prove that.)
-When they uplift the vehicle my account was way over by R31 000.00.
-I didn't receive summons, No sheriff of the court introduced himself or herself to me. I tried engaging with Wes bank but nothing positive came out. All I want is Justice: Is the law allow The creditor to repossess any movable property if the client is over with the payment?
-In 1 month(March), I paid R17500.00 to recover the arrear amount, Meaning Wes bank had enough time to update the account. Instead they continued sitting back, watching the client paying more money every month knowing that the vehicle will be taken away from the customer by using unprocedural means.
-ON THE 13/07/2019- Letter of demand was sent by Wes bank requesting an Arrears amount of R9845.72.
-On the 30/07/2019- Letter of Demand was sent by Wes bank requesting an amount of R6916.67.
ENGAGEMENT TIMELINE
-11 Oct 2019
Email was to Natasha Du Pont-Notifying them of my payments. No response from Wes bank. No response.
-On the 15 Oct 2019
We had a meeting with Natasha and nothing positive came out of the meeting regarding the payments.
22 Oct 2019
-Wrote a letter to Rodney (Wes bank) CEO Office and still no help.
-They kept attached to a Vehicle despite the account being paid.
-They also used unprocedural means to repossess.
-They ignored me despite bringing all the payments to their attention.
-You will notice that the instalment was increased & no one notified me.
-They have also kept on adding legal fees for me to give up on this account and tried to make it difficult for me to proceed paying the account.
-All the above mentioned would be supported in documentation if requested.
-Does the law allow the banks to execute the warrant of delivery from the bank (not from the court) even if the account is up to date and is over +?
-Does the Law allow the banks to repossess the vehicle in the absence of the sheriff?
-Is the bank, The Law unto themselves?
After this it will be taken to the media... All i need is wesbank to acknowledge their mistake & come with an amicable solution.

Too high quoted settlement amount of R477337.99
Wesbank financed the contract I entered to with the car dealer in September 2013.Copies of the contract are herein attached as Annexure A. I last paid my vehicle account in May 2018 because I did not have an income as I retired at the end of March 2018 and I started to pick up financial problems as the processing of my pension benefit took more than six(6)months to finalize and by then I had accumulated huge arrear amounts in all of my accounts, others had already lapsed because of the nonpayment. Wesbank through her collection agent took me to court on default payment bases. The case was heard at a regional court level at first and it was discovered later on that the case was High Court level case which resulted in regional court to stop hearing the case and on the bases of this the case it was to go to the High Court for hearing. The collection agent then prepared new summons which were now different from the first previous one with certificate of balance amount of R425441.27 plus legal fees of R14 465.00 different from the previous one with an amount of R343685.43 having gone up by an amount of R81755.84 plus legal fees and these changes in amounts happening in less than 12 months. Wesbank came up with a settlement amount of R447337.99 quotation which is even higher than normal and this amount is subject to increase after a very short period of time. We are here talking of R133625.56 plus R14465.00 legal fees, a total increase amount of R148117.56 which is 43.10% increase.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is the original certificate of balance amount of R343685.43 plus total legal fees of R14465.00 equallingR358150.433 plus total legal fees of R14

Car auction company called Auto Sales Auctioneers
Hi
On friday 14 May i saw and ad on Facebook regarding a vehicle sold by an auction company called auto sales auctioneers. Upon my query of purchasing the vehicle they gave me an invoice which they said i can verify. I now called wesbank to verify the company. A lady who assisted me now told me that indeed the company is legit and i can proceed to purchase my vehicle through the auctioneers. I managed to make a reservation fee of R4100 to reserve the vehicle. I noticed something is not right cos they began to persist me to pay the whole amount of. R31000 of the vehicle price.
Kindly advice how to report these scammers
Thanks
Liz

Invoice was paid but you keep on saying its not
Wesbank unlawfully deducted Vap premium from my account without permission for about 4 months while I had my vehicle insurance. There was no consultation with me whatsoever. Before I know it i was harassed by their debt collector s who refused to listen because of own agenda. When I query it instead of fixing it they refer my account into their debt collector. This is not acceptable,
Desired outcome: Wesbank must fix this problem and remove clear my name
