I purchased a dishwasher whirpool in Egypt, the installation was done on May 19, 2019 .There was a mistake in installing the dishwasher or there is an industrial defect. In either case, this is dangerous to our lives as we were surprised by the leakage of water which almost caused the electric shock. We tried to call 6 times from 9h30 am, 08 May 2019 from 3 different phones and each time waiting up to 50 minutes without a response .
we contacted the complaints department 08 May 2019 and informed them with the problem but we have been not contacted till 09 and on May 2019 and we placed a notice on their facebbok site but without any response .Absence of response response indicates negligence and lack of seriousness and lack of respect to the customers .

At the risk of sounding stereotypical, it saddens me to compose a letter of this nature.
My experience with Whirlpool appliances goes back the early 1960's when my parents purchased them for our first house, and has continued to this day where our Duet washer and dryer has provided my wife and I with reliable long-term service.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our Whirlpool refrigerator.
We purchased our refrigerator from P.C. Richards in November 2017, and since that time we have had to endure many instances of food being ruined by freezing temperatues.
Despite faithfully following troubleshooting advisement in the owner's manual ; multiple service visits and their associated component replacement, the refrigerator continues to freeze food in the refrigerator compartment at random times and locations.
What is more distressing is that we had purchased the extended warranty option from P.C. Richards, and after their technician "analyzed" our problem with a few random temperature readings from his hand-held laser gun, he said everything was fine, and he went on his way.
I am not saying Whirlpool has not made a good faith effort to resolve this problem, but the good faith efforts have not been able to resolve the problem, and we are very disappointed that an appliance we paid good money for is defective, and cannot be satisfactorily repaired even after multiple service calls.
I noted on the attached latest Dan Marc invoice that the technician worded his narrative so as to portray the unit as "working as designed" at the time of inspection.
My wife and I are at the point where by copy of this correspondence, we are making a final request to Whirlpool to replace this refrigerator in its entirety with a properly functioning unit.
A simple yes or no answer will suffice, and we will accept Whirlpool's determination regardless of the answer.
If Whirlpool does not think replacement is warranted, we will proceed to replace the refrigerator with a different brand at our own expense. Having to endure this situation for over 1-1/2 years is something we are both no longer willing to do.

I had purchased a refrigerator Model No. - (RDC W.POOL REF 71170). It was installed at my site on 19th May, 2019. The item was delivered from Electronic Paradise Dealer (Address: K-24, Feroze Gandhi Rd, Block K, Lajpat Nagar II, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110024, India). The condensor lock was defective as well as one tray was broken. The Agent who come over to install the refrigerator had noticed it and made us sure that you will get the parts within max 2 days. However the behaviour of agent was not appropriate. Also he was asking us to take the stabilizer although the refrigerator model has in built stabilizer.
Its been 4 days till now but I got no confirmation from any of the whirlpool agent about my complaint. I don't expect such pathetic service from Whirlpool.

gas range model # wfg320m0bs3? oven stopped heating flooring melted!
This gas range was purchased in Nov 2016, In Dec of 2017, I received a call from renter to say oven would not heat beyond 100 degrees. Warranty is 12 months, ironically. I went and pushed buttons turned burners on an off and it started to heat higher, later that night another call that it was doing the same, not heating hotter than 100 degrees also when I came to look at it I discovered a knob had already broken off and this exact knob also broke off at another rental that I do Airbnb at, strange, a $13.00-20.00 replacement cost. The most shocking was when I pulled stove out to discover the new kitchen flooring had been melting which is the smell the renter said she was smelled!

We purchased this Whirlpool refrigerator (black color) from Lowes. The push button control panel black plastic membrain (Whirlpool p/n # WPW10397957) for the dispensing of ice (select types of) and the dispensing of water has broken through its plastic membrain. We are a two person family that alternates 6 month living between two different residents. The actual use of this membrain key pad is very limited. IThe membrain seems to have air hardened over time becoming brittle. Thus cracking. The water / ice dispensor single paddle design and membrain keypad selector appears to be a very, very weak design over the dual paddle design. With the present deign the membrain must be engaged a minimum of twice to get water and ice. Where as on the two paddle design each paddle is activated separately with a keypad selection seldom needed. Thus minimal wear / stress on weak membrain design. Plus the fact that both Whirlpool refrigerators I own seem to alway spew ice all over the floor as opposed to in the glass. I have already replaced the ice dispensor in this refrigerator due to the motor fault. Now I am looking at about a $250 part cost for the black membrain p/n WPW10397957. I have purchsae Whirlpool products for years, but am not happy with the now manufacted quality nor design. What do you recommend?

The call centre executive said that my complaint is registrered and technician will call me before the end of 24 hours, however even after 24 hours expired i have not received any call from your technical guy so i called again on 11/5/2019 the call centre executive whose name was Komal said the technician to whome my complaint was allocated he declined the request by saying that the area doesn't fall under his perview. When i told him to escalate the call to his senior he said his senior is busy right now and he is unable to talk to me.

Whirlpool covered the service call, but my complaint is with the servicer who is not taking care of my issue. They did come and repair the range, but charged me for the part (which I feel should have been covered under the electrical warranty since I consider a switch an electrical part) at an exhorbitant price. The part # WPW10296657 cost over $250 dollars with tax. The receipt was supposed to be emailed to my husbands email, but was not sent. I do have where the payment came out of our checking account (see below).

I have found the part online for as low as $140, and no higher than $195. Whirlpool needs to promote servicers that don't steal from their customers. I spoke with Melissa at Fields Appliance, and she relayed a message from the Manager, Don Morris, that they pay over $200 for the part, then mark in up 20%. I don't believe that, and even if I did, it is bad business. If they can get the parts cheaper, why would you not do that, it's ridiculous. I am not an idiot, and don't appreciate being treated like one. I have all Kitchenaid and Whirlpool appliances in my home, and I will never buy another if this is the type of servicer you choose to take care of your customers. I am very disappointed with the way the call was handled when I called Whirlpoll to report it. Even though I was provided with the servicers number, they were sent on your behalf, and I was brushed off by the person on the phone at Whirlpool.

I have a Whirlpool fridge that is less than 2 years old. it does not have a water filter.
It makes the most foul tasting ice cubes imaginable. I have tried to talk with someone on how to clean it and start over but I just get the run around. I need to talk with a tec. person on how to open the ice maker and clean it.
I am so dissappointed in this unit, which I consider new. to have it fail in such a short time is ridicules . my last refridgerator was 18 years old and never had a hitch, we are using the same water set up as with this one. Our water is pure and sweet so that is NOT the problem.
this is model DRB322DMBM00. I need this fixed without it costing me anything.

A complete nightmare. Bought the machine new in October 2018. Machine will not do anything but fill with water. Under warranty and Best Buy won't fix it due to Whirlpool policy of controlling their own warranty work. Thereby they they have a single contract for work in the DFW area. Horrible management process that is not customer friendly. I first called on Sunday, nobody answered... closed of course. Crappy service. Contracted warranty service company (Genco), doesn't work on Saturday and apparently doesn't have enough techs to handle the business. Appointments are 3 days out with 3 hour windows. So basically Whirlpools idea of a Customer Service Experience is, we don't not back our product unless you totally rearrange your life... then we can service the product that has less that 30 washes on it and still fails.

Water dispenser stop working. Called whirlpool they sent someone to repair the refrigerator. After five minutes being there he said he need it parts to order. Never heard from him again. So I called whirlpool again, they said they did not have the part and they need it to exchange the refrigerator and they would get back with me after they talked to home depot. Surprise, never heard from whirlpool again. Third called, my called was directed to another department was on hold for 5 minutes. Paul the person I talked said he need it to read what he had on my claim. Was on hold again then he hang up. Whirlpool has the worse customer service. Save yourself the headache and don't purchase whirlpool. 30 days later and nothing from whirlpool.

My machine lasted three years. Three! The touchscreen was corroded and replacement with labor cost nearly $500. Opted to buy a new machine. Whirlpool knows about the problems with this component and should offer rebates to customers. Appliance repairman tells me he sees this same problem on many machines. The machine should last longer than three years and be able to hold up to washing hot water loads. This is a design flaw.

I bought 6 KitchenAid appliances on 11/12/18, mailed in a rebate form on 11/20/18 for $800 rebate on 6 appliances, mailed in serial #s on 3/28/19 when I had the appliances installed. I received a postcard today 4/15/19 that said I do not qualify for the rebate as"receipt did no include sufficient quantity of appliances". I called the phone # given and was told I had to submit the serial #s online or call them in to receive the rebate. I spoke with a customer service rep and then the supervisor of rebates (Rene) who told me there is nothing to be done as I should have called or done online. There are 2 places on the form that tell me mail submission is acceptable. There is 1 place that tells me to use online or call only. It is not right that mailing the info in as instructed in 2 different places disqualifies my rebate. Please help. I can send you all the paper work I submitted-receipt, rebate form and post card. the post card has an ID # of [protected] [protected])-MTCH-[protected].

It sounds as if you're working within the construction part of the rebate. To clarify, rebates require proof of purchase be submitted, which is the sales receipt, but then require the individual serial numbers, which are only available when you receive the actual appliances.
The easiest way to resolve the problem is to contact the retailer you purchased the products from directly. You'll find it an advantage to take everything you have directly to their store and even try to contact the employee who sold you the appliances. If the original employee isn't available, however, the store itself should have a customer service department that should be able to make a few calls on your behalf. Problem solved.
kenmore elite 6.2 cubic foot top load washer (replacement water inlet valve)
Purchased this washer from Sears in 2017. The water inlet valve began leaking April, 2019. Went on Internet to order a replacement valve. No appliance parts distributors in the United States have this part in stock, as it is on back order from the factory. Called Whirlpool to find out why this part is not readily available to parts suppliers. The response I got was, "Well, it should be available within the next 3 weeks. That's not so long. Sometimes parts can be back ordered for up to 6 months." This is total BS. There is no reason in the world a company as large as Whirlpool should not have replacement parts for their product readily available to their costumes. Never again will I ever purchase a product manufactured by Whirlpool.

We purchased a Whirlpool top load wash machine at Lowe's on December 15th, 2016. Within the first year, the pump broke while under warranty. The neoprene teeth all sheered off in October of 2017. Based on negative review of the machine by the service agent we purchased an extended service contract. Lucky we did, because starting on January 12th of 2019 the machine broke again two times. Once the machine would not spin and the transmission gear case needed replaced. Soon after, the water pump failed a second time...neoprene teeth all sheered off again. We have a one micron filter on the water line coming into the house. My wife and I don't put objects or debris on the wash that would sheer of the pump teeth. The service aent did NOT find any objects in any of the three repairs that would indicate an outside cause for the failures. After the last repaired water pump, the machine did two loads of wash and then acted up again. It would fill with water but would NOT aggitate in the wash cycle. It would spin on the spin cycle, but would not wash on the wash cycle. After three months of a broken machine, we went out and bought a new one...different brand. I dont know if the machine has a design error or was just a lemon from the factory, but it was literally a washing machine from hell.
