To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to formally document the difficulty and dissatisfaction I am having trying to get my Whirlpool refrigerator serviced under the warranty (#[protected]).
I called at the end of February 2019 to schedule service on my refrigerator for a malfunction of the ice maker. I was told that the warranty was cancelled due to non-payment. I explained that it was, in fact, paid in full over 5 years ago and this was not the first time I had to provide payment proof - the same thing happened on the last service call I made in 2017.
I am including all the documents I have from that point on, which depict the unreasonable amount of time I have had to spend attempting to resolve this matter and schedule repair.
I am requesting that management be made aware of this situation and it be made a priority to promptly resolve this issue, before the necessity of it becoming a legal matter.

Our family purchased a Maytag Bravo XL Dryer and Washer for $2, 330.58 from A-Maytag Home Appliance in Altus, OK. Later, Whirlpool provided a third party my information in order to solicit the sale of a warranty at the cost of $507.24. After 2 and 1/2 years on five year contract we experienced an issue with the dryer. We contacted Whirlpool and learned that our contract was worthless. They explained that they did not have any service people in the area to repair the dryer. The company offered to buy back the dryer at 75% of the cash value. If I keep the appliance they would prorate the warranty and I would have to pay $400 to 500 dollars to repair. The company also stated that they would not give me the money paid for the washer warranty. All we would like is to have our appliances serviced and the dryer repaired and the warranty honored. I served in the U.S. Army and my significant other served in the U.S. Navy and we have a mentally and physically disabled adult living with us. Therefore, the ability to take care of our laundry needs is extremely important . We do not hold the Maytag Store in Altus, OK responsible. I wish Whirlpool and there marketing people could see pass making a dollar without providing a service. It is a shame when businesses that get massive tax cuts still try to find ways to swindle people out of their money.

Brand new house built that came with Whirlpool appliances. Closed on house 7/30/17. Oven has not worked properly since its first use. Had appliance repair out to repair under warranty and they simply said to re trip the breaker. They also said that fuse in circuit board was sensitive if you leave the door open for a length of time. We have kept track Thanksgiving 2017, 2018 Christmas 2017, 2018 and we came up with that this occurs when oven is on longer than 2 hours. Usually works no problem but now it does it when pre-heat and cleaning cycle begins. Next door neighbors just had theirs replaced after several months of complaining to Whirlpool. By the way.. a Whirlpool sub contractor came and took the defective unit away and Whirlpool gave them a check to replace it but never offered to install the new unit. Please help as this should not be an issue ever when purchasing a brand new home.

We purchased one of your dishwashers online via Home Depot in July of 2016. The model number is WDT720PADM2. The serial number is F62834967.
Other than some ineffective drying, we haven't had many issues with it until the week before Christmas. The dishwasher stopped washing dishes. We had a local repair company come out same day and they determined the motor was broken. We paid $99 for their diagnostic fee and the motor was covered under warranty. So, that was replaced about 2 weeks later when motor was delivered in mail. The day after motor was replaced the dishwasher started leaking at the bottom at the end of every cycle. We now wash dishes with a towel on the floor at the bottom. We had the same company come out again, paid another $99 for their diagnostic fee and they determined the vent is broken. Water is going into vent, draining down door and coming out the bottom all over the floor. To repair that is $490.00. If you add the 2 diagnostic fees we have already paid with this repair cost, we would be spending more money than we spent to buy the dishwasher less than 3 years ago. I had hoped when I purchased it that it would last 8-10 years. I never dreamed it would have this many issues 2 and a half years down the road.
We haven't quite decided what to do here (we are still washing dishes with a towel at the bottom of door) but we are leaning towards replacing the dishwasher. At least that way if there are issues again, there will be more warranty coverage. But again, this was a charge I was not expecting this soon down the road. I'm upset about it. I wish I could purchase a different brand but our oven and stove are both Whirlpool and to keep things matching in our kitchen, we are looking at other Whirlpool dishwashers. I'm trying to avoid buying a repeat of what we have now. What dishwashers of yours aside from our current model have a longer lifespan, don't fall apart 2 years in and are better at drying? Is there any kind of assistance we can get in replacing our current dishwasher?
I sent message above to Christen at Whirlpool through the website's chat option. He didn't provide me with much assistance other than to waive cost of parts for repair. I will still have to pay for the $120 diagnostic fee and labor (cost of labor is unknown at this time). From my last quote I already have an idea the cost of parts is surprisingly small compared to other fees. So the assistance offered to me to waive cost of parts outside my warranty coverage will help me at the most $75. In the end, I will still end up paying the same or more of a new dishwasher. Our current model offered online at Home Depot is selling for $584.10 with free delivery. Can you please offer me better assistance? There has to be better customer service than this. I have not had this dishwasher long enough to justify these failures and feel my money would be better spent on a new unit than spend the same cost to keep repairing a unit that has proved to fail 2 times in a row now.

We purchased a Whirlpool range on March 28 of 2018. Model number WFE770HoFZ1, Serial number R80727810. Since the purchase we have had many problems. Some of which I have listed below.
Problems we are having.
!. Oven does not cook evenly regardless of settings (convection or regular bake)
2. Aqua clean is absolutely worthless To get it clean requires much scrubbing.
3. Cook top is very hard to regulate temperature.
4. Cook top takes extreme scrubbing to keep clean.
5. Whirlpool customer service is among the worst I have seen.
My husband is a retired military veteran. In his 22 years of service, we have lived in many different areas in the country. Coast to coast and North to South. Because of all our transfers I have used many different ranges. I have to say that this is by far the worst range I have ever used.

The top and the bottom glass of the 2 ovens cannot possibly have been sealed properly! (I have had 60 years worth of ovens. All different brands.) Both the ovens and microwave have steam marks running down the inside of the double glass. It has looked horrible for quite some time. I didn't complain because I thought I would just have one of the service men remove the glass and take care of the problem due to not being sealed properly. I CANNOT imagine that this could even happen because of the sealing process, but it did! I have been married 59 years and had other brands and never had this happen. I take great pride in keeping my appliances in top shape and looking brand new. Well, this is driving me crazy thinking my guests think I have not taken care of it properly and it just plain looks filthy. My eye goes directly to this every day! PLEASE, even though it has been 8 years, send someone to fix this for me. I am a first time Whirlpool customer and believe me, am about to never be one again.
My Washing Machine is the first one that has ruined all of my white clothes. I prided myself on my whites being very white until this machine. The amount of water and the fact that nothing light looks clean is disgusting. I have always had Maytag and an agitator that was tall and lots of water that washed my clothes perfect. I even once had a Refrigerator brand that I loved. It had a pumping effect that washed the clothese beautifully. I could kick myself because I did not want this type of washer and the salesman talked me into it saying it would be as good as the machines with the tall agitators. Well, IT IS NOT. If I was a new bride I probably would not know the difference but I am a senior. I know a good job from a bad job.
I hope and pray that you do something to make me a happy customer. At this point, I know the glass in the ovens can be fixed but I doubt this worthless washing machine can be improved. Please take care of these probloems ASAP since I have not been a complaining, nasty customer.

On October 10, 2014, I purchased a Whirlpool model WFC7500VW2 washing machine CD32912424 series, at the price $ 800. In August 2018, I has to place 2 service calls for repairs and incured a total of 415$ to maintain the machine.
In January 7 2019, I brought the repairer a third time, following the problems
from August, and learned I have to invest $ 900 (piece only), otherwise the product must be replaced.
Whirlpool customer service denied Quebec legal warranty and moreover. I have requested Whirpool to incur costs of the piece to change and man power for repair (letter sent Janvier 7 2019). To date, Whirpool encourage me to buy another machine: that is against my environmental values (this machine is 4.5 years old and should go to the recycling yet). Big disapointment in Whirpool product quality and sustainable policies.

4 years ago, we purchased a model umv1160cw-3 over the range microwave. After 14 months the door cracked around the handle and eventually fell off. We made the huge mistake of buying the same model for ease of installation thinking that this would be an atypical issue. We purchase another duplicate model in april of 2016 and less than 16 months later the same issue occurred. Spoke to customer service on 12/28/2018 and they told me that they would pick up the cost of the parts but I would be responsible for labor which actually exceeded the cost of the microwave. Exceedingly poor-quality product and support. Will not purchase another whirlpool appliance.

I bought a washing machine Lwt 14kg twin tub washer last feb 25. I did not get to try until after 2 weeks only to find out the washer was too weak. It is a 14kg washing machine and I know for a fact it should be able to at least wash 4 pants at once but no, the machine is too weak. I asked for replacement of the unit ti only to be denied. I havent had it for 1 year and I already had 2 repairs! Now not even after 1 use from the last repair I need to have it checked again. Please replace the unit you sold as it is damaged to start with! I thought whirlpool is sturdy and should last but this unit is just a piece of junk. I earned the money I used to buy this so can someone please call me and start replacing this unit!

My refrigerator has been not functioning for close to 6 months... I have wasted hours and months having a Kitchenaid designated service company attempt to repair the ongoing issues :
1- loud grumbling noise: part was replaced still making noise, )
2- freezes food and spoils it within the main area of the refrigerator. Issue still has not been resolved by technician.
3- mother board with the information regarding temperature ...doesn't turn on.
I have been on the phone multiple times with kitchen aid.. ( each phone call is at least 1-2 hours) have had the technician come multiple times... and nothing resolved.
Technician has missed appoinents poor follow up, parts that have been ordered took a month before installed and replaced
This has been going on since August 2018...
And presently I'm on the phone for the last 1:30 minutes with Kitchenaid.
The technician was on the phone with Kitchenaid ... we hired someone to be there during the visit and takes notes. This was December 6, 2018... the technician was on the line for 2 hours with technical support at Kitchenaid.
Now Kitchenaid claims this call didn't take place as they have no record of it. My witness is a retired policeman we hired to be present.
The technician said he could not repair the fridge...
Now Kitchenaid wants to send a third party to see if the refrigerator is irreparable.
Which may take weeks... as they don't know who they can send to the area.
If Kitchenaid keeps this up I will be out of warranty... I guess that's the purpose of all the delays.
At this rate I'm not going to enjoy the Xmas holidays. I will be having to spend endless more hours trying to get my refrigerator issue resolved.

It has been about 2 wks now since I complained about my oven not working. Both Lowe's and Whirlpool just want you to go away; not interested in helping you out. We bought 4 appliances: range, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The dishwasher never worked so finally got a new one, it appears to be working fine. Here it is mid-December and I want to do some Christmas baking but no one wants to help me. This is really customer appreciation! My oven takes OVER an hour to reach 350 and has NEVER reached 400. Our Thanksgiving (a week late) was ruined. I cooked our turkey in the pressure cooker. Now they're working on ruining our family's dinner Christmas too. This is the worst company ever. I have pleaded for help today; I was on hold for a total of 40 min. today. I called back twice was put on hold a total of 3 times and the last time no one ever answered.

Whirlpool customer service is unacceptably bad.
It was quite a shock.
Our Drier broke after 3 days. After two weeks trying to fix it, Ehirlpool decided that they have two change the equipment. After one week, the only information we have is that it can't be delivered in December, so another 3 weeks.
It doesnt stop there, call center keeps pushing you from one person to another, waiting is 40 minutes and it often is interrupted, meaning you have to start all over again.
Finnaly, call center attitude is often just rude, which is outrageous.
We are very disappointed, we can't resolve the issue in a timely manner or have a discussion whith someone who can give us an assertive answer.
I expect much better.

My freezer of my French door fridge froze shut I pulled it open and the door broke off. I called to have it repaired and was told it would not be covered this is a 2500 fridge and I have a warranty. I am beyond pissed. Why make a cheap product? This is crazy that you buy something and the company doesn't stand behind there products. I want this situation remedied asap.

Bought the Whirlpool (Maytag) washer in May 2018 from Menard's so it's under Whirlpool warranty yet.Machine went out December 3rd, 2018. Can't get anyone out for a week if the machine can not be repaired they take the machine someone else looks at it then decides if it's bad. I asked how it works to get a new machine that we can't be without one her reply I don't know. Excuse me! I don't know doesn't work for me, you better find out. The washer just stopped filling with water, it doesn't lock the lid, no lights come on, the agitator does not go around, it just makes this noise like the motor is running but nothing is working. If it only needs parts they can not even give me an estimated time frame on getting those and back here to get them in the washer to get it fixed. So frustrated right now. I want to send all my receipts from the laundry mat to Whirlpool to be reimbursed. To resolve this I want my full money back for this machine and the 2 year warranty I took out on it for a total of $690.70. I will never buy a Whirlpool (Maytag) product again. At this point with the customer service we received I don't want the machine fixed, my question is how long with that last. A 5 month old washer shouldn't need to be repaired if it was any good and I'm afraid that we are always going to have issues with it.

I purchased this kitchen range from Menards in Superior WI on September 8, 2017. I began to notice a problem with burners being unlevel in a few weeks, even though the stove was perfectly level. When I was speaking with the person in the appliance department at Menards before I bought the stove he assured me the top, where the burners are was porcelainized. This became the other problem. After several months the area around the burners started bubbling. Then the two larger burners broke. I tried calling the Whirlpool service number(s) several times a day, staying on the phone for one to two hours and never getting a rep to answer. Somehow I finally got a service person who ordered the two burners and after about three weeks they arrived and were installed under the warranty. Meanwhile I was corresponding with a customer rep from Menards about the painted top of the stove bubbling. This went on for a few more weeks with no satisfactory result. Yesterday, November 26 I talked with the appliance department manager at Menards about giving me a refund on the range so I could buy another. he told me Menards would only do that if the request is approved by Whirlpool. I had purchased a new dishwasher in March/April of this year, 2018. It has only been used perhaps 5-6 times to date. I love the product, it is quiet and cleans well. However, on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018 I came home after being gone for 5-6 hours only to find my new kitchen floor to being floating in hot water! It has seeped down through the flooring and into the basement, soaking my brand new insulation job of 5 weeks. This appliance had a price of $1200.00 on it. I just finished a new kitchen floor in May due to a dishwasher doing the same thing.I would like some help with this situation. Thank you in advance.
