frozen walmart burgers
Disgusting, I bought skme at walmart in atwater, ca. After I heated them up the top of bun curled up lije peeling paint. No flavor, bland dry bun got hard right away. I will never buy them again. Im fighting cancer right niw and I try to find foods I like. Paying over $2.00 for 2 tiny flavor less frozen burgers is crazy. I have a huge social media following and if they don't make it right, ill start letting people know what this brand is selling. This isn't right, walmart says its not their fault they selk them not make them, makes sense to me.
issue while making a purchase
Hello, earlier this evening I ordered a crave case through the phone app. My purchase was more than $20 so I took advantage of the free chicken rings with my purchase. I chose to pay at the White castle location instead of with my debit card on the app. When I got there to pick my order up I was told that the chicken rings weren't free even though I told the woman at the window that my order came with the free chicken rings and that I use the promo code "rings" when I placed my order. The woman still told me that they weren't free. So, Instead of getting my discount of $6.99 I had to pay for the chicken rings. The whole entire experience was terrible.
new coke machine
I'm pretty upset that the Barq's Red Cream soda was taken out of every one of your locations. That is literally the only drink I drink when I go there. Sometimes I use to stop just to get the drink. Not anymore. I think I will stop eating at your restaurants because of this. You really need to add it to the new coke machines. I'm not the only person that has complained about this. It is quite bs.
Thank you for ruining my life!😡😡
customer service.
Hello, I visited the White Castle located on 2140 S. Wabash Ave in Chicago on 3/11/17 at 9:55pm. I was inside for 15 minutes while they attempted to put my order together. This was my boyfriend and I's first time at a White Castle. The woman behind the counter approached us by screaming "which one of you placed this online order? It's hard to understand. Why did you do that like that. It's gonna be a while because of it". She then continued to complain loudly about the order and how she was just going to quit. She was so rude. I have NEVER experienced service like this. She was also yelling at the other workers. She was an older aged, small built African American woman who appears to be about 5'4 in height. I couldn't read her name tag. Her and a few other workers then asked me multiple times about what I ordered and kept asking if I ordered this and that. I did an online order which literally states the $24 of items that I ordered. With description. I don't see how hard it is to read off of a screen what my order is. I then pulled up the order on my phone and showed the worker what I ordered, which literally showed everything in detail. They still didn't understand anything. When we finally got our order the lady said we better check it, which was embarrassing because there was a line and I didn't want to stand there and hold the people behind us up even more. Everyone besides one lady was just completely rude and obviously does not know what respect is. Maybe they need to review online orders and how to complete them or something in order to improve their service.
frozen cheeseburgers
I called last night when it happened. I was eating one of your guys sandwiches and I bit into what looks like a bone fragment or a tooth. I'm surprised no one has still reached out to me about this. I'm kind of upset, I work as a chef and normally when things like this occur it's usually a big deal. I bit into a White Castle cheeseburger and bit into something hard.
white castle freezer dinners
I bought the microwaveable White Castle burgers and followed the instructions before eating. After 60 seconds they came out of the microwave still frozen on some parts, and other parts were too microwaved and made the bread really hard and not edible. I ended up throwing them out and it kind of wasted my money. Is there anything you think I did wrong? I really like White Castle so is there anything you guys can do to make me want to keep purchasing?
service and food
White castles were cold dry and had no onions.. tried new crabcake sliders and there was no creole sauce. My girlfriend took one bite and tossed it. I ordered large shake and girl repeated it but received no shake. There was alittle conflict over it and I just decided not to get it. I understand it was only spent $17 but it was a wasted $17. The server had absolutely no respect and shouldnt be there if she hates her job so much. Find people that care! Ive been eating white castle at 159th Calumet city location for 40 years and im officially done with that particular location. They need to find employees and management that can preserve the staple that they are... I dont write complaints or ever call but im so tired of wasting my hard earned money on crap that used to be so much better.
Food preparation, condition of food upon delivery to customer, slow service!
Ordered 6 white castles with everything (meaning onions, mustard, pickles ) had to wait to place order about 3 minutes, then waited for food to come out about 5 minutes, when the hamburgers were given to me the bag weighed about 4 Lbs because the burgers were so saggy and loaded with as much onions they could get on the bud ( see attached pics) .
I have been eating sliders all my life but these were the worst I have ever gotten. Will be a long time before I go back if ever.
inventory
Every single time I visit the White Castle in Whitehall at 1080 S Hamilton Rd 43227 never has smoothies upon request. This ALWAYS happens when the young girl on days is working. I try to not come for a period of time but it is the same result upon return. I have tried early mornings, midday even late nights but as long as the young girl is at work she refuses to make the drink for me. I hate White Castle now. I will never refer this company and more importantly this store in particular to anybody, ever again!
s high st.
21 min waiting to order 3 people 1 in training finally helped me and was very nice the other two took care of everyone else in restaurant but me an one other kept walking by us all we wanted was coffee so I waited but the only female on shift tonight was the rudest part the inside restaurant was ignored while drive thru got served but when her and Scott are on thirds its always messed up exexcept if thersessa is there when she's there everyone get a balanced service pattern. Tonight no one apologized for my wait was very impatient to me before my order was placed an seemed as if they're just hoping I would've walked out. I am a regular there for 15 years, rarely have I ever complained but tonight was the first night I've ever felt like my being there was highly unwanted
food / manager
The people working at this location are clueless about customer service. The manager (In the brown shirt) has both arms full of vulgar tattoos, her bottom teeth full of gold think it was a grill, nose piercings and hair all over her head with no hair nets. Not very becoming for a manager. In fact no one working there had gloves on or hair nets. Store was dirty trash was full the workers were so loud having their own conversations I had to repeat my order 3 times a soda and 2 white castle. .3 times.
wrong order
drive thru line was long so I went inside, only 2 customers inside. One worker standing around working slowly and checking orders placed. It look like only the drive in is moving. Inside working doing nothing while we are waiting. Finally, he takes a order and starts checking orders again. I asked him if someone gonna take my order. I waited for my food seems like 20mins. it was 11;12am. I got home and The whole order was wrong, He gave my order to someone else.
I called and talked to manager, and told her me and wifey missed our lunch together. She said I can come in and get correct order. I went back at 200pm. The manager took care of my order personally.
When I got in the car something told me to doublecheck my order.
IT WAS TOTALLY WRONG, ALL I HAD WAS A COMBO AND NOTHING SPECIAL.grrrrrrrrrrrr
horrible waffle sandwich
I was nice enough to call customer service after receiving terrible food at a White Castle, and the gal who answered the 1-800 call was snitty, snotty, and condescending. After keeping me on hold twice and getting a great deal of information from me, she basically told me that it was my fault that I ordered food that I did not like.
I used a coupon at lunch time, and thought that I was getting hamburgers on waffles instead of a bun, but instead, they served me this disgusting breakfast sandwich that was greasy dark brown sausage, a greasy fried egg, some gunky cheese sauce on a waffle that must have been smothered with sugary syrup. Gross. It was disgusting and I could not eat it.
That I was treated rudely for taking the time and trouble to call about it really angered me. There is something wrong with White Castle management. There food is overpriced in the first place, so when there is something wrong with it they should be civil.
Why is it their fault that you did not know a waffle sandwich was a breakfast item? She is right.
burnt food and poor customer service
I went to the white castle on south Broadway Yonkers ordered the clams and shrimp and vanilla milk shake with small fries milk shake was runny and messy fries burnt and shrimp and clams both were burnt to a crisp when I went to the window to ask for a manager they told me there wasn't one on and refused to give me my money back I must say the service was horrible and I would never eat there on south Broadway in Yonkers nay ever again someone need to investigate that store at night its terrible and the people behind the counter are very rude I am unsatisfied with the service there and someone need to go to that store and remove the negativity thanking you in advance

chicken dry and tasting of old stale oil
On May 17, 2016, my mother had appts at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. Afterwards, we went to White Castle/Church's Chicken on West End/Broadway. Our order was (2) 2pc dinners and a 9pc dark and 10 cheeseburgers. The chicken was overcooked and dry and tasted as if the oil in which it was fried, was OLD/BURNED as if it had NOT been changed. We had started home which is a 2 1/2 hr drive and my mom had dropped the receipt while throwing away other paper. Therefore, we had no way of hwtt0on contact with them go make them aware of our dissatisfaction of our order ($30).
hamburgers
For almost 60 years that I can recall, a White Castle hamburger was..simply a White Castle hamburger, A good tasty hamburger, always full of taste no matter what you added to it - in fact "with nothing" was just fine. It was a MOIST hamburger, with a "mucky" moist bun and fully hydrated onions. They were steamed. It was part of the process. Not anymore. Dry bun, dry flakes of dried onion rind (sometimes scorched); and something suitable only for the wastebasket. And they have the nerve to call these dry pieces of whatever "sliders?" Heh! You have got to be kidding, or more likely you're trying to "advertise - ingly" brainwash people who don't know any better into thinking those dried up cubes of junk could even begin to slide down anything. Today I visited A White Castle (just for Church's Fried Chicken [that stuff is as good as ever]) and while waiting to place my order, some guy requested [get this; I kid you not] vegetarian sandwich with cheese, "lots of extra pickle" ya da ya da..and get this: he requested it "steamed." Then, later, he requested that they "steam it again." (WTF? I thought). So I asked the people behind the counter (this IS a White Castle you understand) if one could request that their White Castle hamburger order be steamed. They had no idea what I was talking about. And acted like I was some martian. I explained that my White Castle orders of late were dried up stuff, not even remotely resemblent of White Castles, so do I request that they be steamed. got no answer. Just two puzzled negro gals looking at each other and shrugging their shoulders. Babe - the "Crave" was something we (and even our parents) invented, like 60 to 90 years ago! ...based on tasty hamburgers, done right, all the time, everytime, at all outlets. We kept this outfit open for 90 years! My only hope for you is that the Gen Y's, and millenials have been so brainwashed, that dry flavorless 'Castles won't make much of a difference. As long as they all continue to weigh over 200 pounds and wear "XXL", I'm sure they'll gobble up anything you offer. Just start handing out packets of hot sauce or pico de gallo. That somehow can cover up anything. Total horrible screwed up junk. I won't be back.

I now buy my Castles frozen. First off they're cheaper. Got a box at Wal Mart at 42 cents per burger! Secondly, I steam them myself. I can get them as mucky as ever in a steamer. Mmmm! I just got me a jar of Heinz brand Hamburger Dill Chips. They taste just like the ones you get at the restaurant - but now I can get them nice & moist, and hot and I don't even have to leave the house. It's a new era!
Frozen 'Castles can be bought almost anywhere (even in California). They are very consistently made (no burned onions) cheaper per burger that way (42 to 56 cents apiece). Best part is once carefully (slightly) defrosted, you steam them for 10 minutes and presto! you got sliders the way they're supposed to be, and never had to leave the house. Heinz Hamburger Dill Chips are essentially the same that the restaurants use. Mucky moist 'Castles - just the way they used to be. No more drive through for me and no special trip east to enjoy one.
dry "sliders"
2 nearby White Castles that I frequent now serve dried up White Castles with dried up brown "onion" flakes. Pooey!
I've been eating 'Castles for 60 years and they are supposed to be steamed, the onions translucent and soft, and a soft mushy inner bun. It's required. That's why they (used to) taste so good. Now its some total dried up junk that in no way resembles a White Castle. People I've talked to around this original "White Castle city" have noticed it too. Keep this up, you'll go under.
I'd suggest you go back to the original number of restaurants in the eight metro areas they originally were. The expanded coverage in the late eighties was the beginning of the end. But now you've crossed the line. After 60 years of "the crave" I no longer crave. I'll not be back.
poor management skills
I had visited the white castle on MacArthur Rd in Whitehall Pa on Nov 20 2011 and purchased $54.47 of food and when i got home some of the food was raw and uncooked so i called and spoke to a woman that took my name and order number a list of items that were raw and stated for me to come in to get the food replaced... Today Nov 27th i was passing by so i...

BTW, anyone besides me can name the original 8 locations of White Castle - without lookin it up? Cuts in line at the drive thru for anybody who can.
Those O chips are indeed "chips, " What did you expect?
