Airtalk Wireless Customer service

Customer service just informed me that calls to 611 count against your lifeline minutes, here is what their own terms and conditions says, “Voice minutes are not deducted for calls to 911, *611, 988, or AirTalk Wireless Customer Support, and all phones will be able to call 911, even if they have no minutes remaining. AirTalk Wireless may require the customer to call the toll-free customer care number from another phone if necessary to resolve technical issues related to the handset or its programming“. There is no explanation on the terms and conditions page what the “*” means. Here is the link https://airtalkwireless.com/terms-conditions IF YOU WANT RESOLUTION GO TO THE FCC.GOV website and fill out a complaint. Airtalk Wireless I used this service for almost a year

I used this service for almost a year. My phone got messed up, so I paid for an upgrade. They sent me the wrong phone, and it didn't even work for making calls. I returned it, but now they won't send me the replacement that I already paid for. They got the phone back, but they won't give me a refund or send me the phone I paid for. This company is a joke. It feels like they're stealing from me when I pay for something and they won't give it to me. The lady in customer service wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor and just hung up on me.

Customer support is unreachable. I am having problems with my application through the website even though i am approved for ACP. The phone number is only for existing customers, the contact form on the website never sends, and in the online live chat i waited for over 2 hours just to be put back in the queue right after my first question was answered. They claim i have to "register my address with *** has no idea what they are talking about. Havent been able to test the service, but when companies have such a deprecated customer support, they usually ***.

If you ever sign up for acp program take my advice do not go with this carrier provider. *** is Terrible. The phone service is awful and the free phone they provide you is not what you actually put in for. Again the worst acp phone provider. I'm just saving the next person time and headaches

0 stars. This business is scamming the Government. My iPhone 7 has a bad battery, it's so small I can't see to do anything and gets overheated. The service or data does not work, you can't get hold of anyone to rectify problems. Hate it

Terrible company. I requested an iPhone and got a *** Android. That part is fine but it only works on the *** network so all I can do is voice and text. Can't change APN settings. I've called *** multiple times and usually get disconnected but when I get through reps seem to have no idea what I'm even saying. Ordered an iPad Air 2 as well which I am paying $*** for and it's still not shipped and they can't tell me when it will ship. Pretty ridiculous that the *** is so bad with long holds and disconnects and useless agents.

Airtalk Wireless Terrible company, no stars

Terrible company, no stars. I ordered an iPhone but received a Samsung Android phone instead (which is fine, I guess, since they did mention they would send a different phone if the one I wanted wasn't available). However, when I opened the package, I discovered that the phone's screen was cracked. I turned it on, but the screen didn't work at all, rendering the phone completely unusable. I chatted with someone from the company, but because I didn't think ahead to make an unboxing video, they simply told me that I would have to pay to replace the phone since they wouldn't do anything to help me. I informed them that I wanted to cancel my account so I could find another provider. This company is a joke! Avoid using them at all costs.

Airtalk Wireless I got the phone, paid $12 for the year to get a reliable phone

I got the phone, paid $12 for the year to get a reliable phone. I got the phone and put the Sim in it. I called customer service to activate it. Everything was going well. I was happy with the phone for about 3 months. I kept getting emails asking me to transfer or be disconnected. It happened every week. I kept telling them that I didn't want to transfer. Finally, the annoying emails stopped. But then my phone stopped charging. Now I'm a single mom without a phone. This program is supposed to help single moms and homeless people on welfare to have communication for job applications, staying connected with their children and family, and stuff like that. Does the government know that they are scamming? Do they even care?

Airtalk Wireless This company is terrible!

This company is terrible! I paid $24 to join this company because I have a fixed income. I asked for my first payment of $12 back, but airtalk wireless customer service said I have to wait up to 29 days for a refund, depending on my bank. This is from my first application, which they denied. So, I got approved by the ACP organization and did a second application. I provided the approval information and the benefit approval from my snap program, and applied again, paying the $12 AGAIN. AIRTALK wireless said I was denied because I wasn't approved by the ACP and didn't provide proper proof of benefit award. I tried to talk to a customer representative, but I never spoke to a real person. Everything was done through email, and none of the reps know what they're talking about. This company should go out of business! It's a scam! SCAM! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

BEWARE OF AIRTALK WIRELESS (I wouldn't give them a star but this website makes you). THIS COMPANY I BELIEVE TO BE SOME SORT OF SCAM. I TRIED TO USE THEM FOR GOVT BENEFITS ***. THEY TOOK ALL INFORMATION TO KEEP MY NUMBER & CHANGE MY SERVICE. THEY MAILED THE *** WHICH WAS ALREADY ACTIVATED WITH A DIFFERENT NUMBER. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES & GOT DIFFERENT INFO FROM EACH ***. THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE DAYS FOR THEM TO CHANGE SERVICE & WILL HAVE TO MAIL A NEW SIM CARD. AS I HAVE SURGERIES SCHEDULED UNDER MY NUMBER, I ADVISED THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE & I NO LONGER WANTED THEIR SERVICE. ONE PERSON SAID THEY WOULD CANCEL THE *** COULD MAIL IT BACK. THE NEXT PERSON WHEN I CALLED BACK TOLD ME THEY COULDN'T CANCEL ANYTHING UNTIL THE *** IS RETURNED OR THEY WILL CHARGE ME FULL PRICE. THE ***S THEY SEND ARE REFURBISHED. I CHOSE AN I THAT CAME ALREADY WITH BATTERY DAMAGE & OVERHEATING. I REQUESTED A SUPERVISOR & WAS HUNG UP ON. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY & WILL POST AGAIN AFTER I MAIL. This company might be legit, but they don't know what to do when they send you a broken phone. Their customer service just hangs up on you when they can't fix the issue. All they need to do is swap the non-working phone for a working one, but nope, they make their customers go through hoops. I had to complain to the government before they would actually talk to me. Now I'm emailing with *** since the end of February, and we still haven't found a solution for the nonfunctional mobile phone they sent me. I've never had to jump through so many hoops to get a phone that doesn't work. The solution would be to send me a new phone, but this company isn't practical. So please, BEWARE! If you want a free phone, don't use this company. They are no help unless you enjoy jumping through hoops. I warned you! SOS: Look at all the one-star (wish it was zero stars) reviews on Yelp. Do not use this company.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS, THIS COMPANY ! Zero stars..I couldnt activate the service, had to wait a week. Then I couldnt check my voicemail, it was charging me to check my voicemail. I cant receive some of my phone calls, picture messages, and some text messages. When people call me, sometimes it just hangs up and doesnt even connect them to my voicemail. I called and asked for troubleshooting and the lady couldnt help me, she kept talking about social media and I was talking about text messages and phone calls. So I asked her could I speak to someone else that could help me. She said if I wanted to speak to someone else I would have to hang up and call back and somebody else would answer the phone. I wanted to support my number out and I keep on getting the runaround they gave me the account number and the passcode so the other company could Port my number so I can change company they are not letting go of my telephone number. Theyre telling me I have to wait 3 to 5 business days. Its been a week and a half. Do not choose this company any company is better than this one. Ive had my phone number for two or three years now, they will not release my phone number so I have no other choice but to wait for them another month or week or however long theyre going to take it seems like theyre just dragging it out at this point. So my only options are to get another phone or keep on waiting for them and missing phone calls not being able to check my text messages or my voicemail. This company is a rip off.

Airtalk Wireless I would give this company Zero Stars!

I would give this company Zero Stars! I'm a social worker, trying to get phones for my clients who are elderly and disabled. The first client I helped got an iPhone, but didn't wait for me to help set it up, so the iPhone got locked. When I called Airtalk, they told me they can't unlock the phone, and that I have to call Apple to unlock it. Apple told me they won't unlock the phone, and it's up to the carrier. After going through a million hoops, the phone still doesn't work, and they want him to pay $25 for them to send him a random phone. He's on a fixed income and just wants to send the phone back, but they won't take it back. The client still has no working phone and is elderly and disabled. The second client I ordered for received a *** Galaxy and an iPad for $10. I helped her set up the phone and activate it. She made one phone call and the service completely disconnected from her phone, and she couldn't make any calls. We called Airtalk, and they recommended taking the *** card out for 15 mins and then trying it. That didn't work. Then they said they would send an email and we needed to follow the link to fix the phone. That didn't work either! I called again, they gave me some run around, and when I asked to speak to the supervisor, they hung up on me. When I tried to call back, they hung up on me every single time. I tried calling back on a different phone, and when I put the phone number in that I'm having trouble with, they hung up on me! This phone company sucks! NO elderly or disabled person would be able to deal with this! Stay away!

They are a fraud! I signed up with them and they kept saying my phone was delivered. I told them I only received a SIM card and no device and was told to file a report with the post office. So now they're saying I have to buy an upgraded replacement phone, but then turned around and told me they didn't send a device and I can wait 90 days to get another one. Please don't go to this company

65 day ago I cancelled with air talk because there employees sent my phone to the wrong address they did not won't to make it wright they got there phone back but I did not get any thingI kiira,got a email about a phone and a tablet for $ 11 Copay for a phone and tablet I picked what phone but no tablet that's not wright and they got $ 30 Dollars for a phone that is free if i am not able to spend money I don't have well I never got my tablet

Airtalk Wireless Ipad mini

I've been trying to get in touch for 3 weeks, left messages so many that now they flagged my number now I get all agents not available please leave message. I've heard nothing from them. I got my acp and punched the phone and tablet bundle I received a iPhone 7 win I ordered 8 then got tablet witch was 11 years old and outdated can't get app for it or sercurity. I called them right away to complain herd nothing. tryed to stop payment at bank they already got my money. I only get one only one with my benefit. they are ripping me off I want what I payed for apple announced that no more updates for apple mini. So it's trash a paper wait. I'm being ripped off. I want a replacement for my benefit I bought a apple I want a newer apple replacement nothing more just what I purched

Airtalk Wireless Mobile

Placed an order through ACP/Lifeline for a phone and tablet and paid in full on 2/2/24.

I have contacted the company several times to inquire about when my products would be shipping, as my previous ACP/Lifeline provider was no longer providing service, as I transferred it to Airtalk Wireless on 2/2/24.

It is now 2/18/24, my card was charged for the products and I received an email confirmation of everything being approved. However, I have sent upwards of 10 emails to find out when they will be shipped and I have received zero response, except for a stock email every couple days saying there is a delay in shipment "due to the holiday and it will ship in 7-10 days" and that I would get shipping information when it shipped. 16 days later (far past 7-10) and nothing.

I registered with airtalk wireless on their website to enter the APC government program and purchased a phone with them as they charged me $148.24 for and said they would refund me the money if my application was denied. Not only I was denied because that government offer was expired that same day and despite that they were still taking peoples money on...

Airtalk Wireless Paid for device: received damaged short lived iPhone xr

Paid over $100 for iPhone XR. Expected device to be in apple authorized standard of refurbished device. Received iPhone with partially working touch/display. Was not repaired as needed or was damaged during repair for not using apples standards. Battery lasted 20 minutes on full charge and standby, charging port virtually inoperabe as well. Had other physical damage all around iPhone; screen went out while using touchscreen two weeks after receiving device sent device in for warranty repair device was returned to me with excessive physical damage that happened in transit. Now out over $100 and don't have a working phone

Claimed loss: Purchasing damaged goods that were said to be of refurbished working order. Monetary loss in the amount of $120 US dollars, and $2000 for pain and suffering due to airtalk negligence scam

Desired outcome: Settlement in the amount of $2120 for monetary loss and precious time wasted in pain and suffering on behalf of airtalk wireless device scam, selling broken devices and going virtally ghost.

Airtalk Wireless Government phone ever received

It's been over a month since I filled out the application for Airtalk wireless I got approved instantly they said my phone and service would be shipped in 10 to 14 business days then they instantly cancelled my original service here it is new month still no phone or service I've lost my food stamps no have a evection from my home over this now they are saying my sims card is being shipped and my phone will arrive Ina couple weeks they are screwing me over bad I need to know what I can do to get my losses back

I had paid money for service and called and asked why isn’t my service working and slll they told me I’d reset my phone and download my profile over and over I ain’t to happy about this and I got tired of calling help center and not getting the help or service so I’m canceling alll if my benefits cause your company obviously ain’t good neither are ur customer service helpers all the hardly speak any English and barley understand them

December 27th I was approved for their service and I transferred carriers so my previous carrier shut off my service through them. Airtalk Wireless Transfer out

It's going on 2 weeks I been trying to transfer my phone number to a new service provider an airtalk wireless keep giving me an the new provider the wrong account number they keep saying they release my number when they really have they will say wait 24 to 48 hours when that time come we call back they keep saying the same thing some time they will just hang up on us it's like they mad I'm leaving they company just let me an my number go please dang

Claimed loss: 130 because I had to go buy another phone because they phone was not working after paying for a replacement phone

Desired outcome: Just get my number an transfer out to new service provider

Airtalk Wireless Trying to upgrade my phone.

I am very unsatisfied with the IPHONE 7 I received and want upgrade and have had no luck trying to get in touch with AirTalk wireless to accomplish this. I am unable to sign into my account, and every time I go to the site it tells me to sign up. I already signed up and have a phone and service. The phone is to small, and every time I touch it I hit a button unintentionally, The battery life and health is very low on the new phone I received.

Desired outcome: upgrade my phone

Airtalk Wireless Free phone

WAT168329689 this is [censored] this is the seventh time this has happened to me that my chat was closed after waiting hours to speak to someone only to get my check closed for inactivity even though I was constantly texting to verify that I'm still here I'm still here don't boot me out and I get booted out what the hell is going on with your company this is ridiculous you have wasted so much of my time I need to speak to a live person now

They are on their social media page lying to everybody to get them to sign up with their service telling them that upon approval they would receive their devices and service within 7 to 10 days knowing that that's a lie because me and a couple people on there spoke with each other and found out that the people that's getting the free phones are the ones that's getting pushed back to the line and we're getting sent emails to tell us that our shipping is on a temporary hold so they can get that holiday order shipped out well this is weeks past the holiday holiday is over with! If you don't get your phone or haven't gotten your phone from them yet get a hold of the FCC too and make sure that they're not paying them for service that you're not using or able to use. This company is utterly ridiculous. When I called in last Friday after asking you know it's been a week my tracking number has been generated why is my package not sent out to me yet, and they made sure to remind me well you know you are getting a free phone here I don't care if it's free I don't care if I paid for it I qualify for either way just because I wasn't going to or able to buy your holiday phone deal don't talk down on me because I qualify for the service! They are horrible. I believe with enough complaints to the right place about this company that they won't be in existence very much longer anyway. Now having people buy these junk phones and then they're not responding to their support tickets within the 15-day time frame so that they don't have to replace them and that's wrong too that's very wrong I actually don't understand how they're still up and running to be quite honest. Smh!

Airtalk Wireless Free phone service

I have service to AirTalk Wireless I have complained that my phone that they sent me is not working they said that they were having problems with their services it should be fixed in a couple of days that was a month ago I haven’t been able to use the phone since and the phone Services says no service but they text me and I had to say that I was still receiving their services but the phone doesn’t work.

Airtalk Wireless LG Stylo 4

I purchased the phone on the airtalk.com because my phone got the screen broke so they took almost 2 weeks to send my new phone and when I received the phone it was a broken phone I send the new but broke phone back to airtalk but now I'm waiting on my refund because I don't want that phone I Pay $51.80 dollars for a new phone and I still haven't received anything back from Airtalk . They got me on 24 hours for my refund but another person said 48 hours I got more days waiting on my money they stole my money plus the costumer service stink I will never recommend Airtalk to no one

Airtalk Wireless Lifeline and acp.. Phone and internet service

I applied for lifeline and acp service and only got just lifeline Mobile phone service period. For the ACP they told me I would get a free tablet but that was not the case they never sent a tablet and told me I never paid some fee of $10 and 1 penny. But they never They never released my ACP service so I could not get ACP service through someone else unless I canceled my ACP service from airtalk wireless. Airtime wireless told me if I canceled my ACP service they would cancel my service completely and I would have to pay for the phone they sent me. As far as I understand it they are not allowed to bundle those 2 services together But they did and there is no speaking to anybody there they don't care hang up on you don't want to hear your complaint they say too bad for you cancel my service and they're gonna bill me for a phone. This is fraud. Their service is not unlimited data there is a limit on the data and once you reach that limit they cut you off period everything they said was not trigger do not do business with this company they take advantage of people of low-income To me that is the most despicable thing you can do.

Desired outcome: I never wanted my phone service canceled so I do not want my phone service canceled I want to be able to take my ACP benefit and use it somewhere else at another company not them

Airtalk Wireless Phone service is not working

July 5th 2023 I purchase data $15 My phone still wasn't working after after I purchased the data July 12, 2023 I filed a complaint with customer service via email Ticket # DX1111F in enrollment IDWAT1678543524 subject service is not working content switch my phone SIM not working After that couple days went By no response I decided to switch my service I soon realized that I really wanted air talk wireless service So I try to transfer back the data I purchase I never use it I can prove that in my account air talk WI never use the data that I purchase I would like a refund and I would no longer Want to be a part of air talk wireless phone services They will not give me a refund I can prove that I've never used that data at my account was even suspended when I purchased the data Customer service representative Allison Has tried to hangcut me off Rudely interrupted me when I asked to speak to somebody else she denied me that I asked for her kept saying it very fast was not Customer friendly or Understanding and we came to no resoluti got a day mixed up and she said that I was lying I'm very offended in the way that she Was speaking to me it was very Unprofessional and I Would like to speak to somebody that will listand and resolve this problem

Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be a refund of the $15 data that I purchase and nebecause my account was suspended I am not even sure how I even got to purchase that data if my account was suspended
