non receipt of bills
This is to state that in spite of making repeated calls to airtel on 121 and 198 i do not receive my bills on time. The problem started in May 2012 when i shifted my residence for which i provided the address proof to the company also.Ever since last year i do not get my bills on time. I will get a message on my phone that the bill has been delivered at my billing address but no bill reaches me.When ever i spoke on 121 or 198 they have quoted the wrong address to me.
This time, till date i have not received the bill for the month of April.I got a message fromAD-ARWSVC on the 3rd of May that the bill for my phone no. [protected] had been delivered at my billing address on the 30th of April. But i had received no bill. On 13th may i lodged a complaint at 121 for non receipt of the bill foe which my reference no.is [protected].I was given time till19th. I did not receive my bill till the 19th of May also.On 20th I spoke to the Nodalofficer (ref.no. F [protected]) Who asked me to wait till 72 hrs to resolve the issue.After speaking to the nodal aOficer i got a message from AD-ARWSVC stating that the duplicate bill for your airte mobile [protected] has return due to DOOR CLOSED FOR THE FOLLOWING INVOICE NO. [protected]. Please let me know that would i sit in my house with the door open? It was a totally false message for which I again spoke to the nodal officer(ref. no.F1281907552. She also asked for 72hrs to resolve the issue.The 72 hrs get over in the evening and till date i have not received my bill. Today again i get a call from [protected] stating that i would receive my bil lin another eight days.
Please tell me are we a joke ?I again spoke to the nodal officer(ref.no.[protected]).Please see that my correct address is updated in my records and i get my bills on time without having to call airtel otherwise i would have no other option but to change my service provider as i do not wish to waste my precious time calling airtel every time to complain about non receipt of my bill.
I have always paid my bills on time. I only wish to get my bills on time at my residence.

About two yrs back I was using the same no.. As we were going out of country so requested for disconnection but the line was still working. We rented that place and left. After 2 yrs when we asked for new connection they denied and told me about some due amount (without any usage of mine). After 1 month one of the Air tel person committed me to provide the same no. with full waiver and reinstalled the same within 2 days.
4-5 days later they disconnected my no. and asked me to pay the amount. After many ifs and buts they started the services. But that was not the end, THE SAME PROCEDURE continued for about 2- 3 months. Means I had to pay the full rental for 2 percent of usage. After a big struggle the waiver issue resolved.
AND NOWWWWW Internet is not working, the connection comes for 15-20 seconds and then drops. One of Air tel technician visited and after 2 days when I used it, the same problem persists. The bill is coming properly without any delay.
But the services are totally dump. If we are late for paying the bill for 2 days, they charge Rs. 100.
Now wat about our charges, , , , , , , , If the customers are only for paying?

Our airtel landline and broadband is not working appropriately since two weeks.On making a complaint to the airtel people in person through phone was not entertained during the first week and in the next corresponding week the reasons given were that their are lack of workers to assist.Finally after 2 weeks of ignorance i made a complaint on the airtel toll free number 121 and made a complaint telling them all the details.I was told that my problem would be solved within 24 hours but there is no assistance provided till date.I was also not given my complaint number at the time of making a complaint saying that it was taking time to be generated and my complaint number would be messaged on my mobile number which still hasnt reached me.If this is how AIRTEL provides services to the customer then i would please want you to discontinue my phone as well as the broadband connection because i am highly dissatisfied.

automatic deduction of balance from my account
From last two days, I have been observing that different services like Live prayers, cricket seva, Winners zone are getting automatically activated on my cell, resulting into the automatic deduction of Rs.5 per day without my knowledge. I had never asked for such services. I called customer care on 18th April and they said that it was their fault and they reimbursed the deduction done on 17th April. Now, again on 18th April evening, two services got activated without my knowledge. So it is very embarrassing and causing great inconvenience to me. Also, when called the customer care, 121 or 12139, the call doesn't reach the customer care instead it immediately gets disconnected. So very pathetic service. So I need to raise this complaint here.
Disconnect from AIRTEL immediately and forever if you want peace of mind. Advise your friends to do so immediately. This is a well-known practice by AIRTEL

delay in getting connection
This is vamsi krishna from ekattuthangal, Guindy. I was aapproached by someone from Premium Agency, located at Egmore after my request for Airtel broadband connection in airtel website. I have paid Rs.7, 500.00 two weeks back (09/03/2013) by cheque, and my account got debited last week. I was promised that I would be getting the connection in 2 days but I am yet to receive my connection, after repeated follow up, i was promised by a person from Premium Agency, Rajesh that i will be getting verification today but still now no one has contacted me reg that.. I don’t know why it's taking so long for my connection.. Even BSNL is much faster than your's. I am seriously disappointed with your service.. Please arrange for MY REFUND SO THAT I COULD FIND SOME BETTER SERVICE PROVIDER. My CAF No. TNPA467525
MY ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED, I am tried of waiting since 9th of this month. I have requested Mr. Jebaraj ([protected] - TSM) with who i was following up the case has agreed to take a request to cancel my connection and refund my money with in 6 working days as per our phone conversation dated 25/03 /13. He has not yet provided me the cancellation request reference number and he confirmed that i would be receiving in via sms., but still i have not received it.
You either don't have the right resources to provide a connection in time or airtel employees think that they have the monopoly advantage in broadband service. If you think so you are wrong and we have reliance which provides connection in less than three days and so many other services providers better than airtel.
Please atleast arrange for my refund in time or i will take all efforts to spread the word how bad is airtel service in social media.

portability of my number [protected]
I have asked for portability of my number [protected] to another service provider, namely, idea. The request was made on 01.02.2013. The unique porting id given was am699347 and expiry date was 16.02.2013.In between two staff members phoned and offered to solve problem if any. Though I have no problem with this number I had a bitter experience with another number, namely, [protected]. The details are too many to recount every thing here. However, I lost rs.300 / - which I had recharged and the company obdurately refused to go through my complaint in earnest, even though I had gone up to appellate level.
I ultimately ported that number to idea. Having regard to my bitter experience I want to port this number also. This was told to their staff even while porting my number [protected] (Complaint about this number is in the complaint board). However nothing happened. Even now I had told to the staff all this. Still except for keeping this request (Dt01.02.2013. ) under processing nothing is likely to come out of this. This is only an excuse to harass a subscriber. However, my case is an eye opener to powers that be (If they want to do something suo motu).
Two things emerge from this:
1nodal officer, as well as, appellate officer are employees of the the company (?) and they are not independent and therefore they are unlikely to take impartial decision.
It was expected that Air Tel would not really like to go into my real complaint (in respect of mobile #[protected].Assurance of their staff was obviously to buy time and not to do anything about my complaint.

For which number you want this data? I have never asked for Value added services on both numbers.I have never used internet. On both.SMS's were very few and far between.Both being lifetime prepaid connections specially meant for persons having very limited use of mobile. slow 3g speed
I'm a airtel 3G user.In my area 3g speed is very slow. Customer care say me it gives speed 500-700kbps speed but in my phone it gives only 10-30kbps speed.I will call customer care but it not solve my problem.

most horrible and unprofessional company
Please refer the complaint below lodged on 05.02.2013. Some one called Dinesh called up and inspite of explaining him properly, as of now no response from their side. Also, [protected] ID, suddenly balance got transferred to my other account no. because of which I am not able to view the channels. God only knows how AIrtel DTH still exists. Customer care is all confused and clueless what they are doing, what to answer.
Please look into this matter as I am approaching Airtel since December 16th for all this. Never asked for it but the way Airtel is treating for long I want Airtel to compensate for all the calls I made to Airtel and also unnecessary charges on my ID's because of AIrtel's negligence and carelessness and moreover the mental harassement I have been facing since 2 months now.
I still hope there must be some professionalism and concern for customer left in Airtel.

Had requested Airtel Customer Care on 16th December to convert two connections into one customer ID because we were shifting to same house wherein if two connections are there we pay for one package and second we get for Rs 200, the same package. They sent their executive as well to our place in Hafeezpet to do that. He did and went. I got a message from Airtel on 24.01.2012 asking for a recharge of Rs 200 only. I did it but noticed that I am still paying Rs 450 only for my second connection. I called up the customer care, the recording said my phone no. is attached to two customer id'S but the person I spoke to said I have got a wrong message, it is still two connections two ID's only. Now again put a request and she kept me on hold for around 25 minutes and later disconnected.
I request the authorities to look into the matter urgently and solve it ASAP as I am unneccesary paying extra because of Airtel's negligence.

till now no response..How can you suddenly transfer my balance from one account to the other. I am not able to view the channels. I hope their is some concern left for customers and little professionalism left in Airtel.

online recharge
Hello,
I had performed 2 online recharge via the Airtel website for 200 Rs in both the transaction. On completion, the money from my bank was deducted but my phone was not recharged. I had registered a complaint in the Airtel website but no further communication has been there from their side. Their useless customer care service is not reachable.
If the concerned representative from Airtel is reading this, Kindly reimburse my money to the respective banks or ensure my phone is recharged for the total sum of 400. If I dont see any updates in regards to this, I shall take this issue forward.

I received 2 messages on my phone saying "your airtel mobile [protected] online recharge txn ID ( 095880 & 098297 { these are the 2 txn ID} ) of Rs 200 has been initiated. Please keep the txn ID for future reference ". Hope this helps to trace my transaction

I have visited several time at airtel gallery and also given complaint at customer care centre and they adviced me to just ignore the message. As i've stated earlier, I am getting bills after requesting for closure of the account
Regarding my post-paid mobile number: [protected], account 105-[protected] following are the sequence of the events :-
1) I called 121 in june to know the closure procedure & intimated them that i'll be closing the account.
2) i've given a letter at cellnet solutions, saibaba temple road, cambridge layout, ulsoor for cancellation of the account
3) I got a call & mail from airtel, where they offered to change the plan but I informed them that i've relocating to other country.
4) in my mail to [protected]@in. Airtel.com, dated 28-july-2012, I paid-681.56, transaction id: [protected] & there was no further communication or confirmation from airtel side. Pfa the screenshot
5) I got a confirmation mail on the payment & closure request from [protected]@in. Airtel.com (Sandhya rani) , airtel reference number:[protected].
Mail clearly states, "you wrote in on 27-07-2012 with a requesting to stop your airtel mobile [protected]. Pfa the mail from airtel.
We have registered your request. Your reference number [protected]. We have received the payment of rs. 681.56 as on 28-07-2012.
There is no monthly rental from the date of stop request raised and the call charges will be applicable, as per the usage"
6) I got similar mail from airitel dated 26-dec-2012 & 30-dec-2012 (Mails attached) , but the no detailed mail or communication has been written to resolve my issue!
7) after all mail & phone requests, why my account was not closed after july-2012 & why I was getting the bill till nov-2012 ?
8) this is the 3rd time I am facing the billing issue with airtel account.
Kindly recheck my account details, cross verify teh above given reference numbers & answer my point point number 6 & 7 before writing me any further on this.
I’ve kept my options open for future dialog & any clarification required from my side. unable to make outgoing calls
After I recharged my a/c its showing main balance rs0.03, main a/c replica balance rs271. Although I have sufficient balance I am unable to make outgoing phone calls. Every time it says call can't be connected because of low a/c balance. I am even unable to contact customer care executive. I will be waiting for your immediate action.

I made a validity recharge today and it shows validity valid till 15th april 2013, but niether my incoming is activated nor outgoing, i get a voice message saying this no. is out of service whn making calls to other numbers.

I submitted my voter id card as identity and address proof.
