Dear sir,
I want to cancel airtel landline and braodband connection. So I called 121 and filed complaint. My complaint no.[protected]. I got repeated calls from your agent to retain the connection. But I made clear that I dont want to retain the connection. The agent said that the connection will be terminated very soon. After 10 days I called 121 again but I found out that airtel retained the connection without my consent. This is very frustating. I want my connection terminated immediately. I feel very bitter experience with airtel.

went to airtel relationship store.They dont accept cancellation application.so they sent me to another retail store.They also said the same and advised to call customer care.The customer care lady told me that my previous request-[protected] has been closed.so had to make a new request -[protected].The lady said this is final and blah blah blah.just do not understand why they close my previous request without my consent.the customer care is totally useless and so are the retail stores.just do not understand if processing for new connection takes only 48 hrs, why cancellation takes forever.i feel cheated by airtel.i regret the decision of talking airtel broadband connection.any help from any one is really appreciated.just want to get rid of this garbage as soon as possible.

airtel bills getting generated after discontinuation of connection
Airtel discontinued my broadband connection for late payment of dues. I paid the dues later, and I assumed the connection is already disconnected, but bills are getting generated again. There was no communication as to when / why they reactivated connection. So why should the bills be generated?
This was the mail I got earlier regarding discontinuation:

But lately, after this mail, bills were generated for 3 months till current month. As clearly stated in the above mail, they had disconnected and there was no mail communication on resuming/reactivating the connection. Then why would the bills be generated, when the connection is already disconnected? I called up the local airtel office guy last month and he said, it was a mistake in generating bills. He said he will terminate the connection, if not terminated yet, and wont happen again. But the bills were generated for this month as well. AIRTEL tell me how many times, a complaint can be made? Is there really customer service with Airtel? Never in my life, I would like to take Airtel connections again for any matter. FRUSTRATING!

deactivation of all services (vas) including airtel live
This is to inform requested airtel to activate my dnd and deactivate all value added services more than a month before for my cell no [protected]. Still finding my prepaid account balance is getting reduced almost rs5/day. On enquiry concerned customer care executive states my airtel live is activated. How is it possible?. I had never given my consent for any service or requested it. Over and above on my complaint they have confirmed now airtel live is decativated. But still my balance is reduced everyday.
I wanted me to charged only for my outgoing calls, roaming calls and outgoing sms.
I dont want any features other than these minimum.
It clearly indicates to fool customers. Its ok being literate can see this cheating or else in present days illiterate persons are using prepaid mobile and these companies are making money by cheating. They are so called elephants with skin of rhinosorus who not bother customer concern other than making big slogans under big industrial house flagship's.
I want complete refund of this amount to me for all deducted money on account of airtel live and confirmation mail at [protected]@gmail.com and call too.
I again state I want to be charged for outgoing calls, roaming calls and outgoing sms.

I had an airtel broadband with fixed line connection [protected] which i closed. The entire dues pending was paid and the full and final settlement letter was issued by airtel signed by the executive. Now im getting an lok adalat notice for not having paid the same. This is harrassment of the public. Its unfortunate that ive got a corporate connection also in airtel which i will now also deactivate. When i checked the online website bills are still getting generated for the number whic hhas been long closed, instrument surrendered and full and final settlement obtained. Airtel must be the most mismanaged telecom service provider where one tea mdoes not speak to the other and there are no systems.

Caller told me that, " He is calling from Airtel Centre and I win about 1500000/- rupees as lottery, he told his name vijay kumar later when i confused him he told his id as [protected]@yahoo.com, he enquired about my adress and other details later when i went deep into the matter and went suspicious he hanged up the phone.Due to this call with reference to Airtel I lost my precious time and 150 rupess as phone charge and got unwanted mental pressure.
My humble request to u please verify this call and lottery scheme trustness. So that I can take further steps.

Sir before many months I am customer of airtel, due to some wrongly charged of rs.100 / - I have changed my network to bsnl. After 3 months completed again I have changed (Mnp) to airtel on last month 25th or 26th january 2012. On 27th jan 2012 I have recharged with 2 option 1 recharge for 1gb data & sms pack on same day with 1 or 2 min gap. On same day rs.107 / - charged for data (Net) use, when I done/make call to customer care @121 they told I have selected airtel live thats why charged, ok at that time I agree its my fault. But today I have used 1/2 hour or 1 hour net with mobile at 4.30 or 5 pm today charged rs.120 / - from main account balance and also nil my data account but I have not even used 500mb in last many days. At afternoon I checked my data bal is more then 500mb this time its all mistake from your side. , just few min before I have erc with rs.10 / - for make call to customer care but not going/connecting from my mobile, I done call from others airtel mobile ([protected]) with in few option select I have speaked with customer care executive but I am not satisfied with that person I have requested to connect my call to team supervisior I speake with mr caitanya (Team supervisor) airtel at 06.35pm on16-02-2012. getting threatening calls for airtel broadband
I have been a loyal customer for airtel for last 10 years and never defaulted any payment. however, this time around I have been frustrated with Airtel service
I had a airtel land line connection (080-[protected]) which I had requested to disconnect 3 months back. No one from the airtel bothered to either come to collect the landline instrument. After months of followup the Airtel disconnected the connection in December but still no one has come to collect the equipment. Since, it caused a lot of inconvenience from your end I didn't pay the outstanding amount. A week back some random idiots from your legal team start calling. I patiently registered my complaint to them & stated that I would make the payment. Today a girl called Jeniffer from Airtel legal team first calls me 10 times. I couldnt attend the call since I was in a meeting. then she gives a threatening call to my wife. below were the words used.
" Why the hell have you not paid the bill? I will now call your husbands friends from his mobile dialed list so that you guys will get embarrassed and pay the bill"
Then she goes ahead and calls 8 of my friends asking them to ask me to pay the bill or they will be made to pay it. Getting frustrated, I call her saying that I will make the payment but please stop this nonsense. She threatens me to pay the bill within 2 hrs or she will continue calling. I warn her that, calling people from my dialed list is invasion of privacy & its a criminal offence. but she refuses to listen. I had to waste my 2 hours of office time to pay themeager 2800/- amount which less than my 1/2 day's pay.
Calling people from my dialed list is a serious case of invasion of privacy.
I am going to take a written complain from all the friends whom she has dialed & also have recorded copy of the threatening conversion with my wife. & file a legal complain in police station

refund of security deposit
I was using my mobile phone at Madhya Pradesh in India. I had disconnected after paying all my dues. After disconnection of my number, I am yet to receive my security deposit. It is going to be one year since disconnection.
Initially, nodal officers accepted that there is a problem with them & confirmed they will refund my amount shortly. But after few days, when I tried to recommunicate, they say this number doesnt belong to Madhya Pradesh but belongs to Tamil Nadu & they were trying to avoid the refund. Later I received an email stating that "they had contacted me & my issue is resolved which I had confirmed them over phone." This statement which they gave is completely false & Airtel has not be refunding me my security deposit since last one year. Now looks like they have no intention to refund.

Airtel, the most dangerous cellular network service provider.
I have an airtel connection with gujarath circle ([protected]) , since the beginning of this month (Jan'12) i'm in roaming.In delhi, on 9/1/12 I recharged for 200 inr which I usually do everytime. To my surprise I got talktime of 0.90 inr. When I called the customer care they informed me that, I have got 900 min of "local talk time" in other words I can talk for 900 minutes in gujarath circle! Which i'm not using. They even told me that this offer was introduced on 25th dec'11 which nobody including the airtel dealer is unaware of!. There was no hoarding or leaf let to inform!.
Further when I asked for more information they said I should talk to gujju customer care, I did so. The guys in gujrath customer care dont know english but I managed with the little bit hindi I knew!. He didn't give me the proper explanation instead he yelled upon me saying its my fate and I have to go through it and they (Airtel) knew that I was on roaming and they usually do so with the customer on roaming.
Now also i'm in roaming and i'll be in roaming for next 0ne month so this so called 900 minutes is of no use and my 200 rs is robbed by airtel.
This is not the first time i'm facing this problem with airtel, i'm sick of it. And I suggest my fellow indians not to go for airtel. They just rob you.
I want my 200 rs back as I cannot compromise with my hard earned money. As soon as I return to gujarath i'll filing a legal case against airtel.
So my dear fellow citizens please keep yourself away from airtel. If you are having an aitel connection please switch to other service provider.

This is to inform that the problem is not yet solved. In fact not even taken care to the least possible extent. 2-3 days an executive from Airtel called me and she spoke to me for 1.5 seconds only! and she didn't even bother to call again. No forget about the solution, at least one should look at the problem first.
Once I get back to Gujarat I'll take this issue in the way which I should follow. Anyway we are not under Taliban regime, I believe I can get justice which I've got in the past in many such cases.

i had prepaid connection from last five years . just one year back one person from malad gallery named Ajay came to me and he converted my pre to post connection by offering a scheme. later i found that it was totally different scheme wht i have been told while taking connection. anyway. few days back i have converted again to prepaid by taking new sim and surprisingly it took about a month. now i have requested them by going to chembur and mahim galleries to include my 500/- (advance given during postpaid connection) to my prepaid connection which i am using now. but so far there is no response. even i tried with mails but no satisfaction at all. i will wait for another 10 days and then will try to approach consumer court.
by my exp it is really a shamefull for airtel.
I'm one of the extremely dissatisfied customer with AIRTEL. I migrated my post-paid no to pre-paid on 01/10 and on 22/10 my outgoing service has been barred due to non document submission. I understand, it is a policy and procedure for you, because even I do work in customer service sector. I called your customer service on 23/10 12:25 am, the lady who answered the call was so worst, pathetic, unacceptable and cheap person who doesn't even realize my need and feelings. I was curious to find, whether my O/g can be released as I needed very urgently. She was so rude and the words she used are senseless. But still, I was calm and humbly requested her to transfer the call to her supervisor, but without any concern, she hung up on me. I was totally hurt with the service provided. Whoever looks into this feedback, I would really expect a response within 48 hours, else I am ready to walk in to office and log a complaint, also ready to take this to a next level. Thank you. I would suggest everybody not to use airtel for their landline connections, they have the worst custmer service department after repeatedly complaining them for 5 days for a landline not working they have not been able to rectify it and also they are very very rude and want to take no responsibility. I am sure services of BNSL and MTNL connections are thousand times better.

I lost my mobile some where on dated 10-may-2011 at around 5 pm and as soon as i realized that i lost my mobile i immediately went to Airtel Customer Care Center located at Varunapul, Varanasi as i was near to Airtel office on that time. the customer care executive provided me a form and ask for the id proof from me which i didn't had on that time therefore i asked them till what time they are open and they told me that the office will remain open till 7:00 PM so i immediately came to home and sent my staff with the new sim form and id proof to airtel office and on 6:30 PM i get a call on my residence number that the office is CLOSED...Airtel office is at 7 Km distance from my home and mobile i how important for one this every body knows i didn't wasted a min to send my staff to airtel office but it seems Airtel Staff care a DAMM for their customers... i have decided to discontinue with airtel worst customer care of airtel.

I have experienced the worst customer care service at the Aundh Outlet, Pune. After having been patient for months to get my overpayment back, yesterday's callous and rude behaviour from the staff at this outlet was very humiliating. Shame on Airtel to hire such staff. Have they given up their standards to this extent or is it a cost cutting measure to hire such class-less people as customer care officers.

I think Airtel takes special care to try much hard as they can to harass a customer until he Stops using Airtel.
I took a new Airtel 3D datacard Dongle connection on November 25th, It was activated on 27thPlan as told by representative was for Rs.675 i get 3.15 GB free and after usage of 3.15 GB free usage of upto Rs.2000 bill cap based on 2paise /100 kb
As per Airtel representative, the summary of the plan was that for a price of Rs.675 I get a usage of 13.25 GB for upto 7.1MBps speed
LBut my connection was limited to 20 KBPS after usage of about 9GB. When contacted to customer care, they told a different story about the plan. They said its 9GB max for that plan.
I just let it go and requested for plan change on 27th Dec. [Service Request number [protected]] Plan activated on 30-Dec-2011
New plan suggested by the customer care representative was 1099 plan
1099 plan upto 5GB free + free usage of till Rs.4000 Total 32GB.
LBut after activation I came to know from Airtel mail support that it was wrong plan info. And according to them, below is the correct plan.
Type: Standard Plan
Rental: Rs.1099/- (Prorate)
Free Data: 5 GB
Validity: 30 days
Bill Shield Value: upto 32.67 GB will be charged Rs.4000/-.
But just after 3 days, the 4th day morning my speed was reduced to 20 KBPS. Pathetic. When called to customer care, they said I've exceeded 32Gb in 3 days.
LIt was shocking to me because even the Airtel software on my lap shows usage of 1.83GB only.
Another funny thing is that since I took this connection they have never delivered a single bill to my registered address. When contacted, they said its delivered and someone signed on it. But I didn't get it yet.
And now in the 2nd month of this Airtel postpaid connection, my pending amount is Rs.3500!
1st month plan: 675 - 3.15Gb free, plus Rs.2000 free.
2nd month plan: 1099 - 5GB free 4000 bill cap.
But the unpaid bill now: Rs. 3500+
LFor the 2nd month i have only used 1.83GB yet in the 4th day of plan activation. But they're accusing me of using 32GB and charged me like HELL!

And from 30-Dec-2011 to Till now 4 days Plan was 1099. For which I have only used 1.93GB
But when I contacted they said that my unpaid bill amount is 3500! WTH? For only 4 Days? I need an explanation.

Is this the way you treat customers? There are thousands of similar complaints against Airtel. if some media company decides to pull them all, then your existing and potential customers will surely not be happy to hear it.

Dear Sir, I recharged Rs. 148/- for GPRS pack (2 GB) wrongly Previous day (30/12/2011). But actually its value Rs. 149/-.
