app/loyalty
Hello,
I am new to the store and downloaded the app to get discounts using digital coupons. At check out I was told my loyalty account did not come up. The phone number associated with the app was incorrect but when I tried to change it I was told to contact support. After being on the phone a good 25 minutes I talked to a tech who was very nice and able to correct the phone number. I assumed everything was fine Nd went back to the store to purchase my items. To test it customer service rep typed in my phone number and was still not able to pull it up. I became saddened and frustrated by the whole ordeal. The woman at customer asked of I was wanting the coupon on eggs and milk etc and I said yes. I was told by her, " It will be on sale all week maybe it takes a while to pull up since you just updated it." There was no remedy for my issue and it would have been nice of she had offered to give me the discount pri as since I spent a good hour trying to fix this. Instead I was told it will be on sale all week. I got upset and left. This was a very poor experience for my first time shopping here. I don't think I will come again since about 3 people saw me struggling and no one offered anything. I don't feel like waiting on the phone another 30 minutes with the support team. I don't believe they can do anything without me signinf up with a different email which I don't have and won't do just to get your discounts since the app/loyalty start is somehow not working correctly. I just thought I would let you know, thank you.
salad bar
Hi I am a frequent customer at Albertson's salad bar. I was extremely hungry after my workout and had a craving for salad. I stopped by the Albertson's on Airline Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA between 5:30-6pm on Sunday March 26th 2017. I made my usual salad with a little "lagniappe" as we say down here in Louisiana, it had a mixture of everything, olives, dried cranberries, baby corn, crab meat, ham cubes, bacon bits, grilled chicken chicken salad everything. I Went to my and began eating the salad. The chicken salad had an overwhelming taste of onions.
It basically ruined the salad, but I was so starved from working out earlier, I ate everything except a tiny piece of grilled chicken, as indicated in the photo I posted.
If the cook wants to have massive amount's of onion in the chicken salad, can he/she also make a bigger salad by adding more of everything else to balance out the onion overload? I'm not trying to be rude, but I just wanted to communicate this issue with Albertson's management/deli dept. or whomever this may concern. I wasn't satisfied with the service and was disappointed at the least. Hopefully this will effect some change in the preparation of the salad bar's chicken salad.
I would like to remain anonymous to ensure that my letter is taken as a credible and serious matter.
albertsons check out water bottle display
See above Packages of 24 Water bottles at register preventing customers to adequately reach the counter. Not handicapped accessible and Seems to violate the American Disability Act. Safety concerns for kids, hit the huge stack with my cart, I assisted a lady on motorized scooter to get her items in the counter because if the stacked water bottles she was unable to get close enough to place her items to check out. Back injuries and slips and falls from reaching are inevitable with the display of stacked water bottles being unsafely placed crowding the check out. I was told managers opted for this and the employees I spoke with said they were told to place them there when I asked them to move them as I was dressed in my heels from church and couldn't reach the counter nor get my small cart close enough for the checker to assist me. I almost fell and it was very unsafe especially I thought about the elderly first. Being an Occupational Therapist I would suggest you have someone to come out to do an Ergonomic assessment or handicapped accessibility assessment for the safety of all consumers and your staff. Rec: for customers who may forget their water and the staff doesn't wish to run Get from the back, place a display upfront as they have other things without crowding the check out . Poor choice I think that could lead to further lawsuits and injuries that could be avoided . I love Albertsons and shop there constantly but I would like for their customers safety to come before convenience and suggestive selling of water bottles! Safety 1st! Please ! Please! Reconsider the placement of those water bottles in our local Beltline Desoto, Tx store. God bless! Help us remain safe in your stores especially the ELDERLY, our kids AND OUR HANDICAPPED POPULATION.
I was verbally assaulted in the restroom from a employee
This happened on Thursday March 23 2017 at 511 Central Ave zip code 59102 in Billings Montana. I used the restroom and brought and carry my purse like any other girl would and I carry pretty much everything with me including my makeup my purse is huge, the point is that when I was done I was washed my hands and was looking in mirror l want to add no one was waiting for the mirror as I was using my makeup wipes for my face, as I was standing in front of the mirror one stall was being used by a employee, then (the rude employee) came in standing directly behind me and I can sense she's mad, I said there's a open one there pointing towards the toilet after about 25 seconds of her waiting (the second after I said that a customer came in using the other stall) and she rudely says I'm not waiting for that, then awkward silence and she says I'm waiting for the mirror so I completely move out of her way and she just stood there without moving then she proceeds to say that there are other places to do that and I was rude for doing this and I should go elsewhere and she said more rude, embarrassing things to me as another girl was in the stall I had only been infront of the mirror for less than 1 minute, before she came in, the rude employee then leaves and the customer comes out of the bathroom and says omg what she just said and did was totally uncalled for and rude I then starting crying from embarrassment and her belittling me, the customer left and I was alone crying and didn't come out because I was extremely embarrassed and for people to see me crying, about 3 minutes go by and I hear the door open and I knew it was her but she never came in, then about 5 minute after that she came in and used the restroom and I moved so she could use the sink, I said you have no right talking to me the way you did this is a PUBLIC restroom and you were very rude and she sarcastically says no I wasn't and said yes you were even the girl that came out of the stall even said how rude you were and how uncalled for that was, as I was telling her how I felt she sarcastically says stop yelling at me (I was not yelling my voice was shaky from crying ) and I say how would you feel, as she was leaving she says I've had complaints it looks like a truck stop in here and I said yeah right only 2 girls were in here (in the time frame of the incident ) I ask for manager at front desk Danielle came I told her what happened and all I got from her was I'm sorry this happened, I believe I know who your talking about, I will talk to her and have a nice day I said I wanted an apology from the rude woman and the manager never took my number to help me feel validated, I am completely embarrassed and feel singled out and picked on, I would appreciate your help with making me feel validated from your company . Thank you for your time!
management
Over the course of the 1 year and 7 months I worked there my manager would verbally harass me. she would constantly yell at my on the sales floor in front of customers, and pull me into the office to yell at me some more, to the point I would cry because I didnt know what to do... I needed the job to pay my bills and go to school but I couldnt really talk to my higher management about the issue because when I did it would get back to her and she would "punish" me buy messing with my schedule, (giving my short unusual shifts, bare minimum hours, things like that) things that couldnt really tell, things that she could get away with because she wrote the schedule... when I finally did talk to higher management things just got worse to the point I had to quit because I couldnt handle it anymore.. I was getting physically sick from all the stress... shortly after I quit I found out she had been promoted (again with in 1 year of her other promotion)... she is definitely not suited for a promotion when she tarter her workers so poorly... but it seems that the company just gives promotions to people who dont deserve them...
customer service
I went to the Alvertaons up from my house and usually the customer service is great but there is this one employee named Hannah who is extremely Rude with nothing but attitude and rolling her eyes acting like she's to good to serve people! I don't appreciate the attitude and how she speaks in a ride manner to not only myself but others as well. I don't think she should be allowed to work there or if she stays she needs to change her attitude.
Hello,
Im a customer of 12 years at Albertsons, in Mesa Az. located on the corner of Power and McDowell. My son has a fund raiser for his football team, and would like to sell his remaining 15 tickets at your stores location. I spoke with the manager Traci, and he said to contact customer service for approval.
Thank you so much,

clerks
Horrible clerks
horrible experience
Rudest people ever encountered anywhere
Useless, lazy, never, ever ring up items on sale in ads
always 'scan' wrong & then make you go to 'customer service' where literally a filthy looking hag=laziest person ever saw in life. Go to Walmart prices better, you can do correct checkout yourself, these clerks Albertsons have one job they can't do, scan something. Plus at Walmart you can take the ad from Albertsons & get the same prices just show it to a clerk, can't do self-checkout but that's ok you just show the ad to the clerk you get the items same price as Alberts ad, and correct since you don't have to deal with an Albertson's useless nasty clerk or spent 40 mins at 'customer non-service' as they always, every time, scan incorrect prices then blame you, never apologize, never fix it, in fact treat you like crap like you are a liar when they have the ad in front of their fugly face. Plus some those clerks are filthy at 'customer service' like never took a bath in 20 yrs.
I am complaining about manager jeanette
On Monday evening [last night 2/27/2016] I went to Albertsons located in Tustin, Orange and received an unpleasant experience by a manager named Jeanette who rang my transaction. She was really rude! She gave me eye contact for a second and then I watched her ignore me and talk to one of her employees close to her register. Afterwards, she then starts ringing my transaction without even saying hello. Already making me feel very uncomfortable, I asked for the manager. She claimed she was with attitude and when I addressed the improper greeting and rudeness, she apologized with lack of compassion. It truly offends me that instead of being courteous and professional, she acted very rude and unprofessional. Many of your signs in the store say "friendlier" and she sure seem like she was not friendly at all after my experience.
It is doubtful theactual store manager would be on the register. Call to the store and ask for the store manager's name. "Jeanette" could be nothing more than just a cashier supervisor.
My complaint is not even about who is upper mgr or what kind of mgr she may be. I will assure you that my complaint regards to someone claiming be in charge and needs to be professional and not rude, simple. I do not understand what your reply is referring to the store mgr and even if I did call, that is not good enough for me, someone needs to addressed that to HER and maybe the store mgr is not good enough for me, imo.
You make zero sense.
services
I am complaining on the albertsons located on hollywood and lakemead lv nv 89156.
I live right across the street and been a regular since nov 29th 2016. I lost my receipt but i never had any problem until today 2/23/2017 when i wanted exchange three items which were two pks of pacific fish @9.99 a piece and a bag of blackeye peas. The cust.Serv.Rep. Looked at me as if i stole the items and refused saying she don't know where they came from.
You know this is the first time i experience racism in this store but one night their security guard who followed me around the whole store the whole time but she was black like me and when i left i had to pass by her and when i passed her she intentionally bumped me. I went back to complain but the manager refused my complaint.
tainted boneless/skinless chicken breast, albertsons store-brand
I purchased a package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts from My local Albertsons (store #712 on Airline HWY in Baton Rouge, LA) this evening 2/18/17 @ 7:40 pm and upon opening it immediately after bringing it home found that it had a terrible smell and also had pieces of shredded brown plastic the consistency of a grocery bag stuck on the bottom side of the chicken breasts. The sell by date on the chicken is Feb. 22, 2017 and the packaging date is today, Feb. 18, 2017. There's no reason why the chicken should have this foul smell if it was actually packaged today. I would like a full refund for the chicken and would be inclined to shop at Albertsons again if I were given some sort of compensation for this terrible experience. Attached are pictures of the tainted chicken, and my receipt. I realize that you can't smell the chicken thru the photo, but you should be able to clearly see the grocery-bag like substance stuck to it.
I sincerely hope that you can make this right.

That looks absolutely disgusting!
was threatend by managers at ramona ca. albertsons ty and jina
Friday nite 8pm 2.15.17, Jina was extremely rude and dismissive when I had asked her a question. I then asked where I would go to file a complaint she responded that its "her store" so she is who Id complain to. I asked for corporate number she would not give it instead told me to call whoever I wanted. At this time Ty came up behind her I tried explaining my issue to him, his response was its his store. He approached me as though he was going to hit me. Jina at this time again said it was her store made no motion to stop Ty instead told me again to call whoever I wanted to . I left the store.
It isn't right that I can no longer shop in a store because I was so mistreated and am now afraid. I don't want my family or friends in that store because who you've chosen to put in position dosent care about their customers or job. When on earth have you ever heard of a customer being physically threatened for having a complaint. I'm 5 foot, Ty is over 6 feet tall . Please review the cameras an you will see what happened. I need to know what to do at this point.
I cannot help but wonder how the letter writer behaved in the store. She seems like an angry person.
deli man geniuses that must shout at/over and condescendingly lecture math capable women.
Last week I visited the Albertson's near my Graduate School in Alhambra California, I wanted a combo lunch and asked if I could have Wings from the Wing bar, the male deli worker said "Sure, you can have both drummettes and wings." I asked how many, he said 5. I got 6, one tiny buffalo I wanted to try, I handed the container back to him to fill with salads, I told him I got a tiny 6th one and will pay for it separately since the combo lunch is a specific price. He began to remove all the wings and weigh them, I asked what he was doing. What a mistake, I am an educated female and should know better than to speak to the genius men they apparently hire to work at this store. "The customer is always right" unless you are a woman. I accidentally understood how math worked and asked this deli worker to weigh something differently than he apparently could comprehend, of course this was not only going to possibly help shave a few cents off of my very challenging Graduate school budget it was literally their policy, but how dare I advocate for my own financial limitations. Instead of asking for clarity, he lectured me because how could I possibly know anything using my "lady brain" amarite? When I repeated myself, since he clearly didn't understand my suggestion, he of course raised his voice because he is an all powerful testosterone vessel and I am a mere femmebot that should only speak on girl stuff like the color pink or baby havin'. When I responded like a fellow human with a modicum of self esteem and matched his rising man authority decibel leveled voice, he doubled down and got even louder repeating himself then even contradicting his own instructions toward me that I had gotten drummettes (if you are still reading please refer to his unsolicited instructions that the wing bar combo includes drummettes). The infantile surrounding customers disappointedly didn't bother finding out what we were discussing, only that my female voice was annoying them and literally told me to shut up. I asked to speak to a manger and even though apparently I am a Tasmanian devil acting woman that spontaneously erupts I calmly waited to speak to the manger since this is not my first time with this level of sexist man yelling . When he arrived, we both quietly began discussing my questions, however, A woman who had nothing to do with the situation, decided she needed to voice her unsolicited opinion and came over and complained I was "abusing" this poor soul who had loudly lectured me, a customer. Disappointedly, but not unsurprisingly based on his earlier behavior, this man-genius doubled down in his misogyny and thanked the woman in a phony way very loudly like I was some medusa level villain because I was a walking around as a math capable female. I asked him directly (calmly) "So I ask for something really simple, you lecture me and you are a victim?" The surrounding fantasy tv lawyers all looked shocked that I was questioning their all mighty Matlock watching authority and clue gathering, the Bologna Einstein shrugged. Appalled I walked out. I will never set foot in this store or any other Albertson, how dare you treat woman with such disrespect. There is no reason to ever raise your voice at me if you are confused about what I am saying, get some communication skills and detoxify yourself from dangerous masculine assumptions of indoctrinated superiority and ask me what I mean. Some women understand physics and math, hey there is a movie in theaters right now about women that put a man into space. Some of us are educated and speak thus, yelling over us is not a good choice in this place in our history. If you are female and go to any especially this store, you are stepping into a time warp of 1950's level sexist absurdity. Good luck, because The Future is Female. (that's right, I'm that mad!).
You seem to have flair for (and need for) drama. BTW: The customer is not always right. No one person or group is always right. That is just ridiculous.
store in mccall idaho bringing in pharmacy forces closure of local drugstore
Albertson's decision to bring in a pharmacy at their "new" store (site of former Pauls Market in McCall), is causing the long time local drugstore to close it's doors because there is realistically not enough business to support three pharmacys in the small town. McCall Drug is one of the few local businesses that stayed in the downtown corridor when all others bailed or turned into silly tourist gift shops.
Alberstons has a good piece of the pie in the grocery business and did not need to be greedy by bringing in Savon. SHAME on the corporate decision.
I am a 6th generation Idahoan and have lived in McCall for 40 years. Until now, I have had a fairly good opinion of Albertsons, but this overt greediness which will cause a good small local business to close, is completely unacceptable.
Fortunately, there is another grocery store in town and I will order my drugs online, so I do not have to set foot in your McCall store anymore.
It is clear that Albertson's doesn't care about being a " good neighbor" in our small town. It's greed is causing the demise of a local, much-valued business.
employees harassing customers
This is a formal complaint against two employees of Albertsons in Billings, Montana; Paris Delt and Ginger Beasley. One Ginger Beasley the butcher tried to attack me in the store on, Central and Montana Ave, and Paris Delt an employee from the Albertsons on 27th and 6th Ave followed me home from the store. On 1/29/17 at approx 3:00pm both employees came to my home trying to get me to come outside. Both employees ran when I threatened to call police. The store had been notified of this harrassment prior to them arriving at my home. These employees have made me fearful about shopping in the store and now even at my home I am uncomfortable because I don't know if or when they may return.
A formal complaint is something you do at the police department, not on a general public website. Why were these 2 people trying to attack you?
cashier's inappropriate political conversation
I dropped into my local Albertsons after a long night at work, as I often do, to purchase flowers for my parents' anniversary. There were perhaps two other customers in the store, one cashier, and his bagging assistant. I took the flowers to check out and stood behind a gentleman who was in the process of paying.
The conversation between the cashier and this customer made me very uncomfortable. The cashier's comments were demeaning to women, to President Obama, and particularly to anyone who recently exercised their 1st Amendment right to free speech by marching and protesting against what can fairly be described as a divisive election.
The cashier and the customer were in agreement about the topic of discussion, and I can't say how the conversation started because I was not present at that moment; however, the cashier appeared to have let his guard down by the time I was in line, and appeared oblivious to the fact that there might be others who would take offense to his comments, such as:
"All the women's march did was create trash"
"8 years of Obama, and I never [complained on the job]"
"People should suck it up and get over it"
At best, these comments are insensitive; at worst, misogynistic, ignorant, and wholly inappropriate.
I think it would be prudent to remind employees to be more mindful of their conversations during business hours, particularly when customers are present. I will certainly go out of my way to avoid this store in the future, as I do not appreciate my grocery store clerk causing my blood to boil.
Furthermore, such comments from an employee (likely a manager) wearing your company's uniform, and acting in the scope of duty, gives the appearance that the company condones his behavior and views. I certainly never thought of Albertsons as closed-minded before, but now I can't say I won't ever make that association.
Had there been an equally convenient place to purchase flowers at that time of night, I surely would have returned the flowers to the bin and walked out without making a purchase.
That very well might be the last time I spend my hard-earned money at your store.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Zohaile Kakavand
animals in the store on carefree highway in tramanto, az
I just wanted to report what I found very disturbing while at Albertsons around 1 pm yesterday. I was shopping and a big Great Dane (unleashed, and not a service dog) came around the corner in the aisle. After a good 15 minutes of watching the dog wander, usually with his owner close by, but again never on a leash and not a service dog, this dog walked up to a number of strangers and the owner did nothing to stop it. The cashiers and workers all seemed to know "Butkis" and his owner Jerry as they apparently come in regularly and wander the store. This dog's head is higher than the level of the produce that sits open, and while I wash all my produce, I was still grossed out by the health violations resulting from an unleashed dog wandering the store, not to mention the liability issues if it were to bite a customer while allowed to roam free. I have a sister that is terrified of dogs, and I can only imagine the scene that would have resulted if she was alone and it had walked up to her. None of the employees seemed to think there was anything abnormal about a large dog walking the store unleashed, is this something that is acceptable? I would appreciate an answer, and would like to see animals - unless properly identified service animals not be allowed in a store where I buy food for my family. (There is no possibility that this was an unidentified service animal as I know they are trained to stay with and take care of their owner and would never walk away and up to every stranger that happened to walk by).
lack of bike rack
Hi, I and others have requested bicycle racks be installed at the Albertsons Government Street location here in Baton Rouge, LA many times over the past couple of years. The store director has stated he would get some installed but it seems he has no intention of actually doing this. Many people in this neighborhood ride bikes and shop at this store. There is ample room for racks to be installed. Racks are not prohibitively expensive for a company of this size. Please see that racks are installed as soon as possible. I know several people who refuse to shop here because of the store's refusal to accommodate them. Ultimately, installing bike parking will be good for business. Thank you.
treatment of employees
I will not continue to support a company that does not value their long term employees. On 1/19/17, I shopped at your store and was checked out by one of your long term employees. She has been a gracious and courteous person and I look forward to seeing her when I stop by to shop on my way home. I mentioned that it was my "Friday". She said that it was also hers and that she had worked the past 7 days but still had not met a 40 hour work week. I am troubled that your company does not value your long term employees.

management
I was recently at the Albertsons in San Marcos Ca.I was stopping in to grab cash at the wells Fargo and grab a Starbucks. The barista messed up my order and made my drink with dairy milk which i have an allergy too.But she was great and told me sorry and offered to make me another and i politely declined as her line was long and i had to be somewhere. The manager had to come and give me a refund for my drink. She had no customer service skills she was angry no hi no bye no you're welcome. She came up to the register and what do you need? very rude in my opinion. This Albertsons is close to my home and a more affordable option for my family.I will happily be going to sprouts for my shopping from now on.
cashier
January 1st 2017
Hello! On January 1st of 2017 I had went to the albertsons located at 220 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773. As I was checking out (I had bought a bag of chicken at the deli) the cashier named Jessie did not put the chicken in my basket (I was unaware of this as I was paying). I know it was a simple mistake, however I did pay for the items. When I had realized that my items were missing, I was already home. But I went back to the store to get my items, and Jessie had already left. There was only 1 other person working the floor and when I asked them about it, they were of no help because my reciept was not given to me by Jessie.
