Pharmacy
Albertsons pharmacy in Texarkana Arkansas fails to fill medications in a timely manner. You order your medication online and when they text you that it is ready. When you arrive it is not filled or only partially filled. Lines are long and they tell you, 10 minutes and it will be ready. You then have to stand in the long line again. I have been told to call to confirm the prescriptions are ready because they don’t really fill them until you do but when you call they don’t take calls.
Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022
Desired outcome: Hire a competent staff and fill prescriptions on a timely manner.
Pharmacy
This pharmacy treats legitimate pain patients like drug addicts. They go back and forth following the rules on releasing scripts early. I was trying to ask the pharmacist a question amd she couldn't answer me so she hung up on me and was extremely rude. I have used this pharmacy for 20 years amd even worked inside the store. The staff is very unprofessional and rude to anyone who get pain pills.

I understand that this is a very busy time for pharmacies altogether due to covid. I currently have covid. I'm alone and needed my prescription delivered. I paid extra through the Albertsons pharmacy app to have my prescription delivered in 2 hours. Many hours later no prescription, no phones being answered in the Pharmacy. I had to call the customer service center in Albertsons to get any help and when I told them I paid for a delivery extra their demeanor was very rude and I was told that there was nobody to do deliveries and that I would possibly get refunded my money. First of all it shouldn't take money if they don't have any way to deliver a prescription to someone who has covid data needs my inhalers so I can breathe. My family is pretty upset because I'm alone and have no way to pick up the prescription and if something happens to me they will be looking at Albertson's. I think this isn't the first experience I've had with this particular Albertsons in McMinnville Oregon where the employees are very rude they treat you differently if you have any kind of narcotic description such as pain pills. You can take in a prescription for a inhaler and they'll greet you with smiles and conversation but if you give them a prescription of Vicodin they treat you like a lowlife. I know this because I was on a pain management plan for a couple years and had a total knee replacement and every time I went in there they treated me horrifically. I understand you need staff but not at the cost of your customers! Albertsons needs to get it together I'm going to take my business elsewhere and I'm going to ask my family to do the same.
Desired outcome: I refunded my money had to pay for what I had to pay somebody else to go pick the prescription up because I'm Ill with covid
Corporate sponsorship of cheyenne frontier days and their obvious mistreatment of animals
Are you folks aware of the mistreatment of rodeo animals at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo? I have seen them break the necks, legs, backs of months old calves, steer roping, the use of electric prods on the bucking horses among other atrocities.
This unfortunate abuse of these animals must stop. Even though my primary store is Safeway, if you continue to support these barbaric practices, I will be forced to change from shopping at Albertson's and Safeway to a company which will protect, rather than destroy, these defenseless animals.
Please respond with your reasons for these sponsorships. This link will provide my reasons for requesting you drop Cheyenne Frontier Days from your corporate line. Please watch. https://sharkonline.org/index.php/animal-cruelty
Desired outcome: Cancel your sponsorship of Cheyenne Frontier Days
Waiting 30 min for a prescription while the pharmacist talked to her friend for 20 minutes
I went in to pick up a prescription at the Albertsons pharmacy on overland and Five mile rd in Boise Idaho. The pharmacy tech said it would be 15 minutes, so I waited. 10 minutes into my wait the purple haired pharmacist started to talk to a friend of hers at the counter. She joked and had a great time with her friend for 20 minutes. I was there for more then 30 minutes waiting for my prescription. When the pharmacist finished her fun with her friend she decided it was time to fill my prescription. This took place on 12/16/21 from 6:20 to 6:55. It's unbelievable how rude this pharmacy has become over the past 3 years! Might be time to find another pharmacy!
Waiting for a prescription for 30 minutes while the pharmacist talks to a friend is too long to wait!
Unethical behavior
On November 18th, 2021, I went to the grocery store with my partner. He wanted to buy something else and went to a different self-checkout not far from mine. I was scanning my items when this woman walked up behind me (mind you that I did not request help in any capacity and was more or less minding my own business, thus she had no reason to come over to...

This is about the store on Main st. Springfield, Oregon, again. It's a long drive and don't want to go so much further. I do all my business in the Thurston area, maybe someday i'll learn. two days ago my breakfast was ruined because my cheese was all moldy, I just bought it. Was in the store again, same old disrespect. Bosses in the way just gabbing by the milk, looking right at me, ignore me. I try to squeeze by and have to apologize to them. Same in the bakery! One cashier is open and a second kinda open. No light and chained off. The girl who opened the chain expressed herself perfectly, " Now, it's gonna get busy" lol yep, that why you have a job. We have money, Albertsons wanted it, once upon a time. It gets busy when you open, because we the customers are wasting away. They'll never get it, ever. The customer IS the job. We are NOT in the way. Get a job you like instead of being a miserable pos and punishing the one giving you money to work.
Desired outcome: I'd like to see friendly faces that don't pretend I'm not right there, that are courteous.
Very rude employee
This employee her name is Liz Arce she coming out of the back room with her shopping cart, My mom is a elderly women who was looking for milk and Liz ran in to my moms shopping cart, she was not looking where she was going when she ran into my moms shopping cart, A few customers saw what she did and that girl Liz just gave my mom a dirty look and just walked a way, she did not say sorry or nothing. I think that is very rude of a store employee to act that way towards a customer. the store is located on Lake Murray Blvd. in La Mesa, Ca
Desired outcome: No outcome, my mom just left the store.
Customer service
I go shopping when the store is empty when I can, so I get to see 20 "employees" hanging out, the butcher giving me dirty looks as I shop. 1 poor lady checking all the customers. This butcher has twice walked out of her way to bump into me. Just nasty people work here. For 6 years I've hated shopping here. Once a box boy tried to start a fight for no...

The pharmacy listed hours are given over the phone when you call the pharmacy. The recorded message says the pharmacy is closed for 30 min lunch break between the hours of 12pm and 1pm? Or does that mean it can start at 12 or 12:30pm? But anyway. Today I went there at 1:15pm. Still closed, no lights on, but could see a pharmacist working at the counter...

bought two organic steaks prepackaged, when i got home and opened them it smelled bad and the color was off, we thought to maybe cook it but it tasted horrible and we threw both steaks out
Desired outcome: refund
Grocery
ads featured weekly, you have to return home and perform data entry to obtain sale prices.Grocery shopping made very complicated.having sale flyer, weekly ad is not sufficient, so you constantly get overcharged and leave their poor employees to deal with irate customers
Desired outcome: simplify
Mask enforcement
I was told 3 times by the Morro Bay store manager that I could shop WITHOUT wearing a mask because my physician advised me not to wear one. I have sever cardiovascular disease and been advised that I need 5 Stents put in my heart. On June 14th I attempted to buy one of your small cooked chickens and the assistant store manager and an overweight grocery checker and some other clerk ascended on me trying to make me wear a mask or they would not take my money. I told them about my cardiovascular and significant hearing loss and that both are exemptions for wearing a mask and ask them to check with their store manager about our previous agreement. They declined to check with the store manager. I told them that if they would not take my cash that they should call the police because I was walking out with chicken. As I am leaving, they were yelling at me that they were going to press charges for theft of the chicken. At that point I was so upset that I threw the packaged chicken to the side of the door as I walked out. A short time later I was handcuffed by the police and force to sign a non trespassing agreement or I would be arrested. I want a personal apology from the 3 emotionally out of control employees or you will be contacted by my son who is a litigation attorney in Santa Barbara, California, Brent R. Baldwin. It's your choice
Desired outcome: Apology. But if there is no apology then monetary damages for intimidation, discrimination, humility, mental stress and whatever other charges that my attorney thinks apropriate.
The managers are to blame for hiring people with stupid hostile attitudes and not training them to do the job. The store on main st in Springfield Oregon is a place I've hated shopping for 6 years. The butcher lady wants to fight me every time, literally wants to beat me up every time she sees me. wth is that all about? The dairy manager sits as she puts the new cheese over the old, so slowly she must be on lsd, it's legal here now. The meat is nasty as well. Why is this happening?
Yep, They hate the customer, it's obvious. This covid hoax is just an excuse.
Digital pricing
A sales price for an item in the Alpertson store should be the same for both digital and in-store. Any variation is discriminatory. Not everybody has access to the internet nor the skills to access your app whether on their mobile phone or on their computers nor do many have the time to do this but they do shop at Albertsons and see the sales signs.
I am surprised that this discriminatory pricing scheme is not the subject of a class action law suit.

Desired outcome: Same sales price whether digital or in store
Return purchased item
On 3/15/21, we went to the albertsons in tehachapi, ca to return two of the signature flavored southwest style medium salsa. 4 lb 6 oz (1.98kg) upc [protected] 9.
We were told when we went to customer service that we were unable to return them as they were not purchased at that store. We told the woman at the counter that they were purchased in rosamond as we had the receipts. She stated that they could not be returned to tehachapi due to inventory requirements. We feel that it is wrong since the label states quality & satisfaction 100% guaranteed or your money back. We have in dealing with other stores if their chain sold the item it could be returned. Why this policy? And what happens if we were traveling and this problem had occurred?
Sent them an email regarding the above problem. They never replied. Guess we will be shopping elsewhere since they do not care.
Hiring manager
I got hired albertson's as a cashier, during the interview she was very nice, after that she turned very rude. Down talking me in front of customers, i'm sorry but that's wrong.. When I need a managers help she shouldnt complain its her job.. She plays favorites and lets other get away with a lot of things. I was getting good hours but now im not even tho she said they needed cashiers bad. Something needs to be done.
Pick up, shorts, hold and wait times order #[protected]
I've been a customer for 28 years. I didn't have problems with my last pick-up, but this was awful. Got a text when order was ready; showed up 30 min later, called pick up #, wouldn't go through, called again, rang a LOT, then I was told that 1-2 people were ahead of me and it would be a few minutes. 13 minutes later (and it was uncomfortably warm, but at least not August) I got delivery. There were no other cars in the pick-up area. I called to speak w/the manager before I left the parking lot, got home, unloaded the groceries and finally gave up, having been on hold for TWENTY minutes. During that time no one picked up the phone to ask the on-hold caller if someone else could help. Called back, complained, held for 5 minutes until a woman answered. I was shorted 5 items for which I'm sure there was some kind of sub available, but unlike Whole Foods or Instacart, I didn't know about it until I was home. One of the subs was sending regular grind cornmeal instead of coarse, which isn't a suitable sub. I was really surprised with being shorted almond milk, which is shelf stable and usually available through many producers. I was shorted yogurt and cannelli beans. The lady told me they weren't fully restocked after the freeze two weeks ago. I'm upset about okaying subs, then not getting any (except the corn meal). I'm upset about how long pick-up took, that I had to call the store twice for a manager and was on hold forever. I finally asked the lady to have whoever is in charge of pick-ups call me tomorrow. She said I could call her. I said, no, I've had a bad experience with calling you. The pick-up lady is supposed to call me tomorrow. She hung up without saying goodbye. I am totally unhappy. There's no way you were really without subs on 5 items. Seriously. And the wasted time, my gosh. I won't pick up again until these issues are addressed, and I'm not shopping in person yet.
Desired outcome: Fix multiple problems. Retain staff on COURTESY. Notify of shorts before pick-up.
Meat department
I went with my son to alberson and we asked for 8 pounds of chicken and another 8 pounds for my son, we live seperatly. The manager julain was exteremly disrespectful not letting me get the 8 pounds for my son even through we live in seperate houses. When i told him that not your job and asked if i could speak to the manager he put is id badge in my face and said "I am the manger " so I left the meat department and went to the front desk and talked to the store manger Mark, which he resovled the situation and was very perfessional and respectful as well as Rosa.
Thank you,

Drive up & go
Albertsons # 3713 George O'Neal & Coursey Baton Rouge, LA Worked for Albertsons Drive Up & Go department for 6 months. Worked 7-8 hour shifts no lunch. When I complained Manager told me most of us don't have the luxury of taking a lunch because we are too busy. During the height of the coronavirus I was exposed at college and had to quarantine from school for two weeks. I told my manager she told me well what would you like to do? I wanted to quarantine but I live paycheck to paycheck helping my sick mother so I didn't want to miss two weeks of pay so I said whatever Ill come to work I guess. All I was required to do is take a covid test mind you I was only exposed two days from when I returned to work and got tested I still could have gotten it and spread it to customers and employees. Then I was recently fired and told I was trying to sabotage my department for making a mistake with some orders. I literally watched a coworker get arrested had two active warrants for violent offenses but was allowed to come back to work after bailing out less than a week later and my manager and store director both was there as was I as the guy got arrested while on shift. I feel I was discriminated against. Worst job experience ever in my life.
Desired outcome: Don’t wish to be contacted just wanted to shed light on a terrible place of business
Covid vaccine signup fiasco
I am sure this is not the only complaint nor will it be the last. The website signup process for scheduling a covid vaccine is a waste of time and an insult. Of course you have limited (to no) product, but why make the public go through the waste of time with the little friendly woman's face icon over and over again when you know you obviously aren't getting a vaccine anytime soon! Why not just tell us when your supply comes in and then we can make the decision to apply or not> why is the map with all of your stores (called vaccine locations?)
Even listed?
You have absolutely no product and won't have any anytime soon? It's an insult that you don"t have to deal with your site < if you did... You would change it! So honestly if you would change that waste of time you call a vaccine location, and think of us< the seniors in their late 60's to 70's in this household who spend thousands upon thousands of $ at these exact (vaccine?) locations, that would be a great day for us all!
