Employee behavior
I am dissatisfied by the behavior of of a young female employee at Albertsons. The address of the store is 2955 Alpine Blvd, Alpine, CA 91901. The date was 1.28.2021. The approximate time was 9.45 a.m. She had blonde hair in a ponytail, a black jacket, tight blue jeans, and appeared to have no name tag. I was at the self checkout. She walked briskly over...

initial Email sent to a company, Open Nature/Lucerne foods affiliated in reference to Albertsons Inc./OWN Foods
Sir/Madam,
Approximately 2 weeks ago I purchased twenty (20) "Open Nature"" Greek Strained yogurt brands, distributed by Lucerne Foods. Every container lacked little or none pinhead size off of any fruit. The containers were also 1/3 full of any yogurt.
Net weight of container depicts 5.3 OZ.
Today, 12/22/2020, I purchased your yogurt again at the same retailer, Tony' Finer Foods, Countryside Illinois, same as prior purchase.
Kindly send me coupons on the near empty 20 containers of Yogurt.
Response by Lucerne Foods - 12/22/2020.

Hello krystal, on today' date, 12/22/2020 I had spoken with a customer service representative at the toll free number provided to me.
The issue provided in my first email went unrectified. The customer service agent via telephone informed me that albertsons does not show that a major retail store in chicagoland, named tony' finer foods, and is not a company that is a named retailer to sell open nature greek yogurt along with albertson' inc.
The product shows open nature greek yogurt and your toll free number to call for dissatisfaction!
I have purchased your brand name yogurt from your distributor, at "jewel osco" without any issues whatsoever. It appears if this issue is totally satisfactory, my household, and family members will exclusively make all our food purchasers from jewel osco, a company we trusts for decades. We all have jewel osco as our exclusive pharmacy. The pharmacy staff treat us all like family.
I am certain that albertson's company will assure their customer base, that retailers who are not directly affiliated with alberson or open nature seize selling inferior products. Is there a secondary market for retailers to buy open nature yogurt and sell to the public at the retail level? Were the secondary retails buying products that do not meet open nature quality?
My spouse and I are senior citizens, with health issues, and do to the pandemic, we limit traveling to retail food retail stores.
How your product's was on the shelves on tony's finer foods need to be investigated by the parent company of open nature! It would be wise to send one of your staff to see for yourself that the yogurt product sold by an unauthorized retail vendor is inferior! I hope it has no adverse health factors to the retail purchaser. It is a dairy product, and I hope it does not have any short or long term health issues with the product.
I await the response and resolution of the monies spent and time factors regarding this issue from the albertson's products.
Thank you kindly krystal for your time and efforts.
SINCERELY,
Michael xxxxx
Desired outcome: Monetary payment in the amount of $500.00 plus, to cover my cost, time, travel, with an a inferior product that could have an affect on my health.
In regard to the Yogurt purchase of 12/22/2020. I will retain a product container. I am not in possession of the first purchase of of containers of Yogurt.
Thanks so much for your endeavors.
Pharmacy
Dropping off a prescription, horrible service! They were not busy, an older lady with grey hair was there filling prescriptions and saw me but yet did not acknowledge me with at least a courtesy "we'll be right with you." I kept waiting the pharmacy manager passed and still no acknowledgement. Finally I got helped by a young lady after waiting for 20 minutes.

I walked into the store on 10/15/2020 shortly after 0630. Not to many people in the store at that time. After I was done shopping, maybe less than 20 items or so. In today's society we have many choices as to where we want to purchase our food and sundry items. What will bring a customer into your place of business, being as what you are selling can be purchased in numerous other establishments, is 1) price, 2) sale items. 3) CUSTOMER SERVICE. Since Albertsons purchased Safeway the prices have increased. Most general...

July 13, 2020. Around noon I went to the Savon pharmacy to pick up a medication order after being tested for covid 19. One of the male pharmacist was not wearing a mask. I asked the person who was at the register and she said the pharmacist did not have to wear a mask behind the counter. I am sure that was not a true statement. After the bearded, face...

I have been shopping at the same Albertson's for over 7 years now. Their prices have always been high - but since the Covid 19 fiasco began - they have increased their prices outrageously. I buy the same items week after week and I'm paying a full $20 more and I'm not even buying for a full week. What used to cost $60 is now over $80. I hate this store and...

I applied for a job as file maintenance, bakery, floral, bookkeeping. I was pleased to be hired as a file maintenance/receiving department. After the interview I noticed the hiring manager put on my application "Fron End". I went along with it the 1st day in training as one of the jobs I applied for specifically the bookkeeping position fits this description. I let her know that I cannot lift more than 25 lbs. On a continuous basis. She then asked me if I was disabled. This is against the law. But what can I do? I have no money to sue. The 2nd day of training, again I was the 1st person to arrive at that hour, I requested to speak to the hiring manager alone as she put "cashier " late the afternoon before on my paperwork. She told me it doesn't matter everybody starts out at minimum wage. But it does matter because what I was hired for mkes minimum $32, 000 yearly, a cashier job pays only $28, 000 tops. During training we must pass quizzes at a minimum of 80%. Another minority that was there that applied for one of the same jobs that I applied for got her job. She couldn't answer any of the questions. The hiring manager told her that's okay. Just go to your job site and Joan will train you. I notice they the "other minority " have preference of hire. This is wrong! And no I didn't claim minority status because I don't have to. The hiring manager said she would call me back yesterday afternoon but she did not. I called the parent office Albertsons and they gave me a number to call in the Seattle office. All I got was an answering machine. Then a Safeway "human resources " called me from my hometown. He too said that he would call me back yesterday afternoon and failed. I am still in need of employment . Funny thing about this computer training, it teaches you not to be biased. This hiring manager was highly biased.

I visited these stores and neither one is taking this coronavirus issue serious. The cashiers wear short sleeve tops and cough and sneeze into their arms and hands. Another cashier laughs at people wearing a mask. What's up with that. Maybe this person doesn't want to infect anyone. Another time the young stock girls are hanging around areas where the...

Albertson's is my go-to store in Irvine. It has been out of butterscotch morsels for more than 6 weeks, and I regularly make treats with this product. Also, I believe that you have stopped stocking a more obscure product, pickled watermelon rind with which I make great appetizers. I realize that you can't stock everything, but the Nestle's butterscothc morsels are empty ut labeled as on sale.
