bad meat more than once
I've had to return meat at Albertsons 3 times already(milk as well). I'm not about to have to return meat they gave me last week in exchange for the bad meat the week b4. Why are stores allowed to sell bad meat time and time again? I can not be the only person that this happens to.They are close is only I have to go there. 8/18/15
they didn't send info about the cakes
We have ordered 5 cakes from the website www.albertsons.com. When we placed the order, we have chosen the service, where we could track the cakes. At the beginning, we tracked the order and everything was ok. But two days ago, we checked the tracking number and it showed completely nothing. We already called to the customer services and asked to check the info, but the rep promised to call back or to send message and still nothing.

I live litterally 2 min away from the store so I went out to my car to check for my wallet not there..so I call into the store and say Im sorry but I will have to run home for my wallet. I came back into the...

I go this store and they an employee. I was asking about certain grocery. I also asked him where he is from. he said KENYA. then he asked me where I was from. I told him. then he began to barrage me with inquiries. HE asked me to prove whether I was really from that country. THEN he told me MY GENETIC history!...I politely told him he was wrong..that I KNOW...

My sister I look up to her, she is 7 years older than I am.
She works at Albertson's and she barely gets enough money to pay her bills. Her shopping day is Wednesday and she shops at Kmart every Wednesday. She has to go around the store looking for sale items. That is bad enough however sometimes she has to switch tags, move signs over in hopes that they fall for her trick and give her the item at that price. It is very pathetic, my sister is a hard worker, has always looked out for me so I thought I should look out for her this time. She should get more money than she does.

unsatisfied customer
I went to the albertson store in corona, ca yesterday 9-13-11 and purchased a $150.00 in subway gift cards for my staff...I went back to work and gave the gift cards to them..They went to sub-way and tried to use them..They were not activated...I called the albertson's store in corona and talk to the manager, she said you must bring the cards and the receipts back to the store...I had to leave work and went to talk to the manager..in the meantime the things I bought were in the car and it took them approximately 30 minuntes to tell me how sorry they were but the cards were activated and there was nothing they could do...I said then I need you to give me my money back..they said sorry we can't do that, once you have purchased the cards regardless there is not money on them they can't give me my money back...I said this is fraud..how could you take my money and give me nothing in return..this is their policy...They said I have to contact the headquaters..I go back to my car and the candy I had purchased from albertsons had melted..and everything else was hot...So then I have to call headquters and give them every number off the 15 gift cards I had purchased, which took more time out of my day...only to be told there is nothing they can do for me...again, I asked for my money back and they said no...again I said you have taken $150.00 and given me nothing in return...Oh, well...So then I said what about the candy that has melted from yesterday that I had to throw away...I was told to bad you threw it away, but they can not replace it...I have been a loyal customer to Albertson's as long as I can remember and I am treated like dirt..I called headquaters again today just to see if they have even started working on the card issue..only to be told, we told you it will take anywhere from 48 to 72 hours to get back with you...I think when a store takes $150.00 and give you nothing in return this is fraud...So now I purchased gift cards that can't be used, I am out $150.00 and they refuse to replace my candy...not to mention all the time it is taking me out of my days to get this issue resolved...I will not shop at albertson's ever again and I will make sure to let everyone know how I have been treated and has this company can commit fraud and it is no big deal...If you are smart stay away from albertson...I am very displeased with the services and the fraud that was committed yesterday...
rotten ham
Alberton’s, Washington, Utah…I bought a ham at Alberton’s and when I opened it, it was rancid. I took it back as asked for my money back…if fact I would have been okay with a store credit, but NO..I had to have a receipt. I expect my groceries to be fresh and consumable. Without the receipt they wouldn’t budge. Even though it was obviously their product and the sell by date hadn’t been reached. What happened to customer satisfaction…not at this Albertson’s… Pissed off, I left the meat with them and left…then I did my shopping at Wal Mart across the street…My shopping days are done at Alberston’s…I know the competition wants my business.
How did they know how long you had had the ham for? How did they know that you had not left it out in the hot weather?
Rude to a Disabled Vietnam Veteran
Tuesday march 8, 2011 8;40pm I purchased groceries myself and a friend at the lafayette, LA. 1818 N.E. evangeline thruway store, I placed my bags in the cart, tiffany had not placed (2) 5# bags frozen chicken, within sight, I forgot the 2 bags at the counter and after returning home. I immediately called the store and inquired with an employee asking if they had noticed, that I forgot my bag with two 5# bags of chicken thighs, the employee said yes and I told him I would return right away too pick up my purchase. when I arrived at the store I showed my receipt and ask for my goods, tiffany replied I put them back because they may have melted, ask for her too see if someone would go and get it for me, that’s when no one would neither take the time too do so.
I told I would go, then I had a change of heart, since I had already been shopping earlier and being that at present time I am under a doctors care for severe vertigo, I am a disabled Vietnam veteran with 13 inches of titanium screws and silastic hardware in my right wrist, and also suffering from severe vertigo and balance problems. I refuse too be pushed aside because I’m a handicapped veteran. I was out done and upset risk the chance of walking out back and maybe falling too return and item I had paid for, the lady who comes too help me was in the car waiting for me, and there I was standing like a fool, while Mr. hardy and MR. Jason decides who goes out back too get my two items.
I spend lots money at that and as a disabled and handicap person, I don’t deserve too be treated as a second class citizen, thats wrong for the management and the employees too treat anyone this way, MR. hardy could have met my needs and he did not have too talk me down, it was neither the professional way nor the humane way too do a customer, I was upset when I left the store I met Mrs. montgomery at the door on my way out, I did speak too the manager and informed him about the incident, and informed him about MR. hardy’s manners towards me, I received an apology from the manager, and I thank him for that, I told MR.hardy I felt an apology would be proper also, I said as a customer I’m sorry that had too happen, and he silently repeated my words with no remorse.
I’m not wanting special treatment nor favors, but must say this If this is the attitude and treatment given too a customer then someone needs too speak too some of the employees, servicing the community.I’m very sorry this happened but as customers we don’t deserve this, IF it really means a great deal.I take upon myself too say I’m sorry for allowing a few people who ignoring and rude actually refusing too care for the needs of a customer. working with the public is not easy, I understand but it is the duty of the employee too help a customer in need, whether I shop at this store or not is of no importance too anyone, but it is my right as a human being too be treated with dignity, and in return so should an employee, if our business as customers are truly appreciated.
High Drug Costs
May 25th, 2011. This is my complaint about Savon Pharmacy high drug costs. I went in today to fil a prescription for Tramadol 50mg (qty:120) and Prednisone 10mg (qty 30) which I fill regularly for chronic gout and rheumatoid. I was charged $58.99 for the Tramadol, which costs $11.89 at King Soopers and $15.99 at Walgreens, the Prednisone is $4.00 at King Soopers and $9.99 at Walgreens and Albertsons was much more too. This is over 400% markup and ridiculous. Beware if you are a cash customer at Savon Pharmacy or have a prescription that you must pay a percentage on.
The cost of all drugs are too high..

fraud-scan guarntee
I do my food shopping reguarly at the cut bank Alberstons because it is the "ONLY" food store within 40 miles of where I live.I have rarely had any indifference with the store, except for their high prices, or their personel except for today.I was at the register and I had bought several of their buy one get one free packages of asst meats.I noticed that as the cashier is ringing my groceries some of meat isnt scanning free that was suppose to. At the end I look at my reciept and Im correct I was over charged.I look at the meat to be certain they are the same cuts, they are labeled buy one get one free.Either way I speak to the manager on who tells me yeh I am correct and he will fix it so I am credited.I remind him that according to their scan quarntee I should get the 4 packages free.He assures me that no it doesnt include meat.I say ok.He steps away. The cashier begins to refund me for what was suppose to be my free items.I ask her where is their scan quarntee policy located. She doesnt know.I look around and I find it it only says that it is for scanned shelf items which do not include alchol, tabacoo and dairy items.I then ask again to speak with a manager which this time is a different one.He looks at the meat and the labels.I show him how they are the exact same items and the difference is who ever labled them, the pork for example one says max pack and the other package of the same is missing that part on the lable. The steak actually has a typo of letts az2.He precedes to tell me how he trust his meat dept and tries to describe the az2 as a cut of meat.I lol at him anyway and tell him that it was their error and the products are the same.He refuses to honor their guarntee.I have the labels and if I could I would display them.Either way Im so frustrated that he humilated me and I know he knew I was right.Just thought people should know Alberstons does not honor their guarntee.

they don't care
I recently bought a bag of shredded cheese at Albertsons supermarket in Durango, Colorado. As I was cooking dinner for my family and opened the new bag of cheese I noticed it had a black stinking mass in the cheese. I almost threw up. It ruined our entire dinner as my wife and family were in the kitchen at the time. I took the cheese back to Abertson and asked for the manager and was told there were none in the store. When I asked the young girl behind the counter to open the cheese and tell me what was in the bag she said "no I have a weak stomach" and then asked if I wanted another bag of cheese. When I said why would I want another bag she replied "I just give people their money back and get yelled at".
dont shop
If you shop at this Albertsons, don't go through Marilyn G. Line...she is a horrible person, and checker! My husband and I shopped there, she talked with her winey voice (I could smell alcohol on her breath) she would talk and talk and it took forever! I asked her where peanut butter was and she never did answer me, she seemed to involved in talking about her miserable self! Telling my husband she hates men, and all her personal life and how she loves to drink wine! I know. We could tell! She said she was getting married but doesn't like commitment! Albertsons needs to get rid of that Jerry Springer employee...I will NEVER shop there ever again! Bad experience...HORRIBLE...
why didn't you just go to her manager if that is the way you felt or go to a differant line problem solved.
which albertsons?
I know...easy right? Simple solutions seem to be terribly complex for some people.
bad service
I have had one problem with the store that keeps repeating, always out of at least one item I need for my recipe at the time. Sometimes it's uncommon item that I have to go to Vons for or what usually is is a very common item like split green peas that they can't seem to keep in stock. I have discussed this with employees over the past year. But their i...

The Port Angeles, WA Albertsons is a nightmare neighbor. They run the parking lot cleaning truck at ten pm on a weeknight. If not that then a snow or leaf blower. They allow noisy teenagers to hang out in the parking lot, playing very loud music. They allow delivery trucks to idle for long periods of time in the very early morning hours. When I try to call, they let the phone ring over and over. When I finally get a person on the phone, they tell me to deal with it myself by confronting the noisemakers. They are truly destroying the neighborhood peace.
cashier kept my change
Last night I purchased one item from the deli and was owed $4 the cashier was so busy talking she neglected to give me my change, when I pointed that out to her she snapped "I laid it on the shelf" (used to write checks) which made no sense change is placed in the customers hand along with the receipt..I informed her my Partner was standing directly in front of the shelf so this was not the case..she snapped louder "I put it on the shelf" same as calling my Partner a liar, then began ringing up the customer behind me blowing me off completely..she made a point of ignoring me..I have written a angry letter to their main office and will probably do all of my shopping in Publix..if I do return to Albertsons I will avoid her line like the plague..
bad ham and management
Alberton's, Washington, Utah...I bought a ham at Alberton's and when I opened it, it was rancid. I took it back as asked for my money back...if fact I would have been okay with a store credit, but NO..I had to have a receipt.
I don't save my receipts, I expect my groceries to be fresh and consumable. I have no reason to keep my receipt. Without the receipt they wouldn't budge. Even though it was obviously their product and the sell by date hadn't been reached. What happened to customer satisfaction...not at this Albertson's... Pissed off, I left the meat with them and left...then I did my shopping at Wal Mart across the street...I felt like taking my Wal mart receipt back to albertson's to show them what they missed because of their rude attitude...My shopping days are done at Alberston's...I know the competition wants my business.
discontinued my favorite product
I've been buying Farmland products at Albertson's here for some time now. Found a favorite in their Pork and Bacon roll. Now they tell me they have discontinued the item and I am so very disappointed. Farmland was very gracious and responded to my e-mail immediately. They still have the product and told me to ask Albertson's to order it!
false advertising
I received my ad on Tuesday and they had great meat deals buy 1 get one so I decided to go to south Venice to buy my groceries which is 15 miles out of my way. I get there and yes they had buy 1 get one but they jacked up the price to 6.98 a pound (for chicken breast) if you purchased it individually so the savings was a joke. Also I went to the deli counter and ordered the alpine lace cheese because they had a price of 6.99 in front of it. I ordered 1/2 pound and they printed the ticket at 8.99 a lb. I asked about it and the lady leans down to look at the tag and says "it says baby swiss" and guess what, they don't have baby swiss, they're out of it. I proceeded to take a picture of it (attached). Excuse me for having less than perfect eyesight to see that the tag has baby swiss in small letters by 6.99 in huge digits but there were 2 large blocks of alpine lace right behind it. That's false advertising. I got a few more items but I will NEVER go back to that store.
I've never been back to that store and won't go and from what I understand they have not changed their tactics. There are other places to shop.
Then what is the point of having a "sale" there was actually no saving? I did agree that I could not read the smaller print, the clerk even had to bend down to see it. This is a retirement area do you think everyone has very good eyesight? Of course if you're 4' tall and on eye level I guess you can see it OK but I still maintain that I will not visit their establishment again.
We've shopped Albertsons for the last 30 years. This is the first time I'm aware of a false advertising gambit on the part of Albertsons. The ad for this week reads: "Extreme Coupon!" 73% ground beef for $1.88/lb. I went to Albertson's on 120th ave/Washington St, Northglenn, Colorado. yesterday [9/11/2015] at about 3pm. No ground beef available. The man told me to try back again in the am. I returned about 9:30 am today--
no ground beef..the man said I could try back on Monday the 14th. I tried another store, 104th and Colorado--same thing--no ground beef before Monday.
I've experienced this kind of false advertising at King Soopers--but; this is the first time that I've suffered false advertising at Albertsons.
It's really not a good way to treat your customers. Why lie to us? Why advertise a special, when Albertsons obviously never intended to honor it in the first place?
Why treat people this way? Why lie to us?
wouldn't take my personal check
They don't give S & H Green Stamps out anymore either. Checks are on their way out. Get a debt card. Stop living in the past and crying because you can't get your own way.
Why?
Ever thought about getting a debit card?
I hate going to Albertsons - almost every week they advertise something incorrectly. This week it was a loaf of Homepride bread (24 oz) for 99cents. Got there and it's really the 20 oz loaf. (Not a big deal, but this happens all the time. At this point I don’t even bother asking for the correct item or a clarification of the discrepancy in the add….. Who in their right mind wants to be subjected to their rude customer service - been there and done that. I just left and took my business elsewhere). Last week they had cans of white tuna displayed on an end aisle with a sign that said 2/$1. It rang up at $2.89. Turns out it wasn't the white tuna that was on sale after all but a different one on a shelf completely removed from where the advertised price was displayed next to the cans I picked up. And as I pointed out to the cashier the sign didn’t make clear that it wasn’t the white tuna on sale. But she didn’t care - her attitude was insulting and she was obviously really pissed at me for having the nerve to ask her to take it off my ticket. Treating ME like I'm trying to rip THEM off. On the same ticket there was also a discrepancy in their pricing of a box of Stove Top Stuffing and Peanut Butter that rang up higher than they were supposed to. (No signs anywhere indicating an error on their part or apologizing for any inconvenience) A month ago it was Pancake Mix advertised at a certain price but ringing up higher… that turned out to be a misprint - AGAIN! (To his credit the store manager of that Albertson's sold me a couple of boxes for the advertised price.) This happens almost every time I shop at Albertsons. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, at first I thought these were honest mistakes or misprints, but after having it happen time and time again I'm not so sure... And trying to get a rain check for an out of stock advertised item is like pulling teeth at certain locations. Or trying to use a rain check at a different store than the one it was written at is even harder sometimes. I've had to return cereal with bugs inside a sealed cereal bag (I could see them through the bag) and had the manager refuse a refund. I could go on and on and I'm not exaggerating! I live in North Texas (Fort Worth area). If you want to shop at Albertsons (when they honor their printed prices they are pretty reasonable) I can recommend the Lake Worth store. The service is good and instead of being treated like a criminal for expecting to buy an item at the advertised price, the manager apologizes and/or sells it for the printed price. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Weatherfords Albertsons or the Fort Worth Albertsons by Ridgmar Mall. I’m sure some of their employees are considerate but because of those that are beyond RUDE - I most definitely can not recommend them. In today’s economy - it’s almost a necessity for a family on a fixed budget to shop around for the best prices - this is NOT a crime and I for one am sick and tired of being treated like I’m doing something dishonest or am a big cheapskate for simply expecting to buy an item at the advertised price!
