When the novacaine wouldn't work the dentist still tried to pull my teeth! She made me fold my hands in my lap. No arm rests to cling to. It was so painful she finally gave up. She would not give me any pain medication. She left me in the chair bleeding and in pain and left! She left bruises on my face which I have photos of. Someone finally came in and got...

Aspen Dental Used another person's xray for mine

9/18/2021

Around the last week of August 2021 or 1st week in September 2022.
I made an impromptu visit to Aspen dental to the 1st free exam up on my teeth to see what needed to be done.

I filled out the paperwork. However when I went to do the x-rays for my mouth because my mouth was small. I was choking on the mouthpiece they only did the lowers.

It was way too long, however when I finally saw the dentist. (after 3 dental assistants)
the x-ray showed a full upper and lower set of teeth. (only one taken)
they showed the mouth of a smoker, which I am not.

I did recognized some of the staff. How and why later
I suspect they had other people there because when I went again to ask about the xray that I saw. Unlike the 1st time with several receptionist, only one for the whole company.

Desired outcome: apology, and assertion that they grouped the xray (used one for me ( smoker which i am not). they did not take a full set of teeth.

Aspen Dental Tooth extraction

When making my appointment I asked the woman if there was anything i needed to do prior to getting my teeth extracted. She said. "No nothing at all." and smiled.

When having my teeth extracted no one looked over my medical history. No one asked me if I stopped blood thinners and aspirin prior to the appointment. I bled for over two hours prior to them calling an ambulance, I lost consciousness twice in the ambulance on the way to the hospital due to a loss of blood.

The doctor would get the bleeding under control and his assistant we rip my gums back open causing the bleeding to be worse. The bleeding didn't stop until they called the medics and she stop pushing my gums around causing me to bleed.

Due to the pandemic there were no hospital rooms for me and they wanted to keep my over night. They couldn't find another hospital with a room so I checked my self out not wanting to be left in the hall.

Desired outcome: All medical bills paid, and double the medical bills in pain and suffering.

Aspen Dental Over charge to my credit card

Aspen Dental:
I made my 1st dental appointment on 6/4/2021 I needed 2 teeth extracted. When I got to appointment, I was automatically evaluated for dentures, but I only wanted extractions. However, I later agreed to the dentures, and I spoke with financial officer and charged $2800.00 on my credit card that day I did not notice that PATIENT RESPOSNIBILITY WAS $2496.00. Once I paid, they did imprints and scheduled second appointment for extraction and temporary partials.
June 25, 2021 Extractions done, and temporary partials were given to me, but they did not fit and was told to reschedule 7/14/2021 for filter to be put on top partials. I arrived on 7/14/2021 to office but was closed due to doctor being sick. I was not notified, but I rescheduled 7/27/2021.
On 7/27/2021 I saw dental lab worker and told her partials did not fit and hurt my gums. The partials look like teeth that belong to a gerbil, they do not look normal they are so small and do not fit with my permanent teeth for chewing. Also, temporary partials hurt my gums and I am not able to speak right they impair my speech. The bottom partial only has two teeth and had a full lower jaw bridge that did not fit right and was crooked. When I spoke with lab worker and asked why the particle could not be just the two teeth with the wires, she said she would fix it that way and she would call when ready.
On 7/28/2021 I picked them up at front desk, they were handed to me in a baggie. They were not properly fitted. I took them home and was not able to wear them because they were loose and came off with muscle movement from mouth. I called and they gave me another appointment for 8/5/2021.
It has been TWO MONTHS NOW and I still have never worn the partials because they have never been fitted properly. I am not satisfied with the work on partials and not satisfied that I keep coming back to be fitted and after 2 months not able to wear the partials. I am not able to keep coming for adjustments that do not work and especially with the new Delta virus going on I do not want to keep coming here and not getting the problem solved. Therefore, I am requesting refund on partials because I am not satisfied with the partials and do not want to keep coming back every 2 weeks.
On 8/5/2021 I was refunded $1494.00 but still owed over charge of $304.00, Aspen office claims a ticket has been sent off but it has been 5 weeks and no refund.
I was charged $2800.00 and on my patient responsibility it shows that I was responsible for $2496.00 for over-charge to my card of $304.00. I have waited and have not heard from Aspen.
Sincerely,

Consuelo Garrison

Desired outcome: get over charge paid back to me.

On Friday 0/10/2021, I had an appointment with Dr. X? they never told me his name. I am requesting Dr. Zeng to complete the job because I think Dr. X did an awful job preparing for the crown. 3/4 of my tooth is gone, when the tooth never bothered me. This doctor was way too fast preparing for the crown yesterday. I don't believe he took reasonable care...

Aspen Dental All on 4 permanent top implants

I went to Aspen Dental last August 2020 and spoke to the office regarding getting permanent implants All on 4 on the top. They gave me a quote and set up my app for September of 2020. They said it takes 4 to 6 months to complete the procedure. I got the implant surgery done 8n Trinity Fl. Then I went for adjustments as instructed fo the 1st 3 months. After that they never called me again. Finally I called to set up an appointment and they said my surgeon is at a different office which is an hour and a half from where I live, I went to Brandon Aspen and an hour and a half after waiting I was called in. Some random doctor came in. I SAID where is my surgeon Dr Dyia? He said that surgeon is no longer with the company. He also said he does not come to any of the offices near my home and it makes no sense to do anything there as the prices go by zone and whatever quote he would give me would no be the same as my home office. I was very upset and felt this was totally unprofessional to lie and tell me my surgeon is in Brandon but they meant 'a surgeon' that was a complete waste of 5 hours for no reason at all. Finally I ended up going to my own town in Spring Hill Fl. They stated that they do implants but the owner dr. ANDREW LEE works out of the Inverness office which is an hour away. I finally got to see him and he said he can take my case. A month went by and he had never even reviewed my CT scan which I had to do several times as they kept misplacing my disk. Now another 2 months went by.. they gave appointments several times. Also they sent me to another surgeon in Spring Hill but when I arrived that Dr. Said I don't need to see you! You actually had the procedure done by the original surgeon and you are clear to have your implants installed. It was annoying to keep going to appointments and wasting my time for them to tell me they can't see me. I went to Inverness again for the appointment which I thought was my implant delivery.. the Dentist Dr Lee said he never got the disk even though I was told they were delivering personally to him... he decided to do another CT scan and make an appointment in another 2 weeks. Then I was given and appointment and when I arrived they said my dr is not at that office and he is at Spring Hill. I live in Spring Hill. I was very upset again... another month went by before they started the process.. and the real nightmare started. First of all. They proceed to unscrew the healing abutments and I noticed a terrible smell that was frightening. He said this is normal and I should not worry. He was having trouble he put a screw all the way in without any Anastasia or the numbing shots they would normally use for a surgical procedure. Also he did not even clean the screws at all and put it back in my gums without sterilizing or even letting me rinse. This was a horrible feeling to deal with. Also he complained about his troubles taking out the screws he said the surgeon put it on a angle. I explained the surgeon put the implants purposely on an angel fitter for permanent implants not the snap on one's that I did not ask or signed up for. He kept yanking on the screws very hard to the point i was afraid the whole integrated implants would dislodge.. so then they made the impressions and game a an appointment in a month they said this is how long it takes.. a month later I went for the fitting. I noticed the horrible smell again when he unscrewed the abutments. This was very upsetting and thus time I requested to at least let me rinse my mouth. He gave me a mouthwash to rinse. He did not clean the screws and I felt the terrible smell on them. The next time I went I asked to please at least clean the screws with some mouthwash. I told him how disconcerting it is to have this awful smell when they take out the screws. He said this is totally the norm. ..Finally they got the implants. The doctor installed the hardware and left. The dental assistant handed me the plate and said go ahead you put it on.. I was puzzled and asked what she means. She said there you go you are all set.. I explained I have a contract for All on 4 permanent implants not this peace of cheap looking plate that was poorly done and the side teeth were a quarter of the size of any real or adult teeth. The doctor came in and basically yelled at me saying that this is due to my surgeon leaving and he felt bad for me and decided to accept my case and when people transfer from place to place this type of mistakes can happen because "you can miss the notes from the other doctors" I explained I had nothing to do with my surgeon leaving and that's where I was sent to" by Aspen in Spring Hill. He said they will have to start over with the entire procedure again... also that same night I was eating a baby tangerine and that was enough to break the front tooth of the plate . I was in tears completely traumatized. The next day I reached out and told them the plate broke on the spot on day one. They made an appointment with the Aspen in Spring Hill and said I would have to leave the plate there overnight and I would have to walk around with just the titanium bar. I started having palpitations and said this is Not acceptable and I have to go to an appointment with a client in a couple of hours.. they said they would make an exception and fix it this time but this is not how it works. A week later I had to go for my appointment for the new impressions. The doctor was aggravated and said he did me a favor by taking me case. He also said he only does snap on plates buy he felt bad for me and took my case. I paid thousands of dollars out of pocket and my United Healthcare insurance paid their portion. This to me is Not a favor" .. he was clearly upset with me. He really hurt me each time he tried to take out the metal bar and kept saying it's because if the way the surgeon did the implants on a particular angle and kept yanking on it every time. Also I brought up the fact that a dentist said he used Neosporin, and that makes it take care of the bacteria and it will not produce the bad odor. HE said he is not going to jeopardize my health and Neosporin is not for internal use.. he said he would however have the assistant rinse the abutments.. he was aggravated again and the next time he said he is sorry but the impressions were not done correctly and we have to do it again.. he just took impressions material and with his hands put it on my mouth and did not use the metal tray they usually put the impressions on. So the next time I went yet another dentist was there. My dentist was not in house and she said this are way off and I can't do anything because your own dentist has to do it.. I had another 2 weeks.. then I came back they said they have to do another impression Because those are off and he wants this to be perfect. Well we are now in September of a year later, I went to my appointment today and I saw my plate sitting there and it had a huge hole on the front tooth. I asked the assistant what in the world is that? She said this is where the put the screen and then seal it... I wanted 40 minutes and my doctor came in saying you are going to be very upset and I'm really sorry. He said these are not right, there is a huge hole right on the front tooth and I would no do this to my wife or anyone I care about. This is very bad and the lab tried to do their best to work with it but because of the way the angle was done they went too far and now the hole is too big. All they have is filling material there and it would definitely be completely visible and obvious. The color would not match nor the texture so he recommends I just keep the snap on ones instead.I was unable to even process this at this point. I said I will need the entire procedure refunded to me and I will go to Clear Choice where that is all they do ever day. He said he is very sorry but he does not feel right doing this to me knowing that it will be completely wrong and totally visible to have filling material on basically the entire front tooth. He brought me to the office and said they would start the process but the assistant said she could just refund the plate. I SAID ABSOLUTELY NOT.! Need the entire procedure refunded. This has been a complete nightmare and the pain and suffering they have cost. Not to mention travel time over an over for nothing at all to just end up at zero. She said she completely understands how awful the whole thing has been for me and she wishes she could help she said she would talk to the regional manager and see what they can do. I feel I have been so mishandled at this place. I was charged for a procedure that they could not deliver because they have never done one. It's been a complete disaster. I have wasted so many days and missed countless work opportunities and my business has suffered tremendously over this situation and I need them to make it correct. To refund me the entire amount I have paid, the money my insurance has paid and the pain and suffering I have endure by this misrepresentation of telling me and charging me for a product they cannot deliver.

Aspen Dental Unprofessional

Went for appointment to Aspen Dental. Hoping to get my permanent partial. Did not get what I expected. Instead got a runaround again. Was told by a staff member that it was time to get my permanent partial. That the dentist would probably to the impressions and start the process. When the dentist came in I told him that the temporary partial was loose and I could not eat or talk with it. Was told by the dentist that there was nothing that he could do and that I could not get my permanent partial. That I had to go back to the periodontist for treatment. I stated that he was going to do the same thing they did the deep cleaning ( if that is what Aspen dental did because I was charged for it). The only extra was the laser surgery on the top right tooth in which Aspen dental isn't qualified to do. . I asked why should I have another deep cleaning if it was already done. Got no reason why when I asked. Then he did some adjustment on my temporary partial. Now it is more loose so now I can not wear it at all. I feel that I was ripped off by Aspen dental. I did not make another appointment back because all they were going to do was another cleaning. That is all Aspen dental seems to know. I feel that the treatment I received was very poor. Never in my life have I been to a dentist that keeps giving someone the runaround. I would never recommend Aspen Dental to anyone.

Desired outcome: Want the money back for the temporary partial which cost $955 due to it being loose and not able to eat with it. Also the service not done in which I was billed for and paid for the Periodontal Scaling and Root in the amount of $1, 112. .

Aspen Dental Product and service 2/16/21 Unethical behaviour scam.

I have been billed for and lied too about a promotion that has been going on since later part of 2020 to Sept 9th 2021, I was informed of this promotion after the fact and billed for full price I would like to have a revised bill and pay the promotion fees as promised by your company. The office in Prescott Az told me that they did not have to honor any of this and continue to charge full price. The policy of if they don't ask don't tell dose not work with the public these days and the media loves news like this. I am only asking for the right thing to be done hear I am a Vet on a budget that is why I need help. But To be used in a fashion in which I fought for freedom is a fight that I should not have to do in my own country.

Desired outcome: resolve an issue off adjustment of 785.00 finial dentures not received yet.

Aspen Dental Dental - ABH IL

I am writing in regards to the billing manager at the Moline office. After having teeth pulled I was fitted with partials and dentures. The partials were an issue from day ONE. I wore them until the next day as instructed and could NOT get them back in to fit correctly. There was a 1/4 inch gap between the partial and my gums. They did not fit right and the metal piece fell off when the dentist TRIED to fix them. They shoved them back in my face and sent me on my way. Well the next day once again I could not get them to fit. Once again I went back for a visit and they attempted to fix the issue. I wore these partials THREE times. When I asked the billing manager about the charge for something I cannot use she said well they are discounted. REALLY the discount was $217.80 I paid on my care credit $871.20. Then they had me pay $108 on the bill when I still have money on the card. I am asking for a refund for the temporary partials that I only wore THREE times. Account # [protected].

Aspen Dental Dentures from aspen dental

I had a full set of dentures made and have so much trouble with the lower denture they had to remake it. In doing that they turned some of the teeth now I have sharp edges that are hard on the tongue on top of that food gets between the gum and the teeth on the inside. For the amount of money these dentures cost they should like they came from a cracker jack box.

Desired outcome: I've been back so many times I'm not returning I'll have to save and have a new lower made

On The first visit they welcomed me with open arms, very friendly.
John, came up with a plan, to pull all my teeth, He made temporary dentures, that I didn't want or authorize them to do this. after complaining about how my teeth would fit properly, they were huge and looked like a ORANGUTAN MONKEY, they became defiant and rude.

We believe that we should be refunded our money. Nothing was done doing to improve, getting new teeth. They were very high on left side of mouth and no way could they fit properly, I wasn't even able to chew a potato chip, let alone a steak. The implants are so painful on a scale of 1-10, #8 for pain. I've not been able to chew any food since August 17, 2020 when we celebrated my Mother's Birthday, Since then I have had to be put my food into a food processor and drink my food to get my nutrition. I rinse my mouth after I drink anything and they foam from infection.
Please help us, we have many pictures and copies of x-rays.
Sincerely, Madeline Albach.

Desired outcome: Refund Please approximate $30,000.00
