So about three months ago I switched out of Verizon Wireless because I just couldn't afford it at the moment. After looking around for a bunch of choices, and having one of their stores oh so close to my house, I decided to go with MetroPCS. Their services are $50 a month without a contract and they have decent phones. I found one phone that caught my eye - the Huawei Ascend, an Android smartphone capable of amazingness.
I went back to my house and set everything up. I then started looking around for apps to use and I browsed the internet. Sometimes I would be able to load up a page in 5 minutes, sometimes it wouldn't ever load because I had either 1 bar or zero bars. I was confused because they said they covered a lot of locations with good service. I guess mine wasn't one of them.
The next day, I went onto their website (from my PC) and checked the areas where they had the best coverage. To my amazement, it was right on top of my city, my house, where they had the BEST coverage around. Yet I am stuck with 0-2 bars. WTF. I bought a smartphone from them yet I am unable to utilize it's best features because of no internet connection. Thank you MetroPCS.
It's a good thing I finally got my WiFi to work, otherwise I would have returned this phone and gotten something crappier. With a phone like this, you need decent speeds.
4 bars of 3G on MetroPCS is equivalent to 2 bars of 3G on Verizon's service. MetroPCS sucks.
Also, this is just my experience with the coverage. During my registration, the person who was creating my account messed up and we were billed twice for some plan I didn't even choose. I had to go back to fix everything up.
Thankfully, there was some other girl there, someone with a brain.

almost no call range, dropped calls
I can receive no calls at all while inside my home using a metro pcs phone and plan. I have unlimited everything, which is absurd because the phone only works outside, and even then it drops at least once during a long call if not more. When I was out of state I had no coverage for eleven days. How this company manages to stay in business is quite simple: they prey on the needs of the low-income or poor credit customers who can't get a real phone without a deposit. It is horrifying.

All four phones on my plan drop calls constantly. We have to stop and restart our phones to get them to make or receive calls. 2-3 times a day. Tried in store and over the phone to resolve without any luck. (Alabama)

i have a galaxy 3 phone for the last couple days my phone keep dropping calla after about a minute not just mine 3 or 4 neighbor phones doing same thing called metro they refreshed my phone didn't help went to metro store in san leandro they worked on phone for about 20 minutes get home same thing if mine and neighbors doing same thing it's not the phones don't pay bill they be ready to turn you off they need to check towers
I've had three of metro's phones in the last year all because they claimed it was my phone, not the service/cell towers. All three phones were ones which Metro claimed would solve my problem. It didn't. Ask for the corporate phone number, was told we don't give that out, call this number xxx-xxx-xxxx which is nothing but an automated answering service. One customer service rep even gave me a number to call which turned out to be a zip code with a few extra numbers... called back, got a "are you sure you dialed the right number... after a few choice words... manager gets on the line and tell me the number I was given is their locations zip code... no sorry... nothing.

Up until sometime in early March my Metro PCS service was excellent, however as soon as they went Nationwide and 4G, many of my calls are dropped in my home and outside. My guess since they are not a large company, they are using another cell provider's network possibly Sprint. If they do not make corrections soon I will have to switch carriers.
I would suggest trying a different phone. Sometimes it isn't the company's fault for calling issues it's the manufacturer of the phone. I had a problem with Straight Talk where either I wasn't receiving calls or if I did they'd often get dropped. Even had it so that I'd lose signal when calling someone before the call even went through and rang. I got a different model phone and haven't had problems since.

We bought 3 phones on the family plan and they first overcharged us. I went to the kiosk to have that corrected where we purchased the phones, then none of the phones get service anywhere near where we live. I tried to register and they asked for my 8 digit password, I did not have one, I was never asked this when we bought the phones, nor was I asked the security question of what was the name of my first pet. Could not get any assistance and had to take a half day off work to drive to a corporate store where they said the guy that programmed the phone did it wrong and was not properly trained. WTF?! This guy re-programmed my phone and said I would need to bring in the other two, I said that is not at all convenient. To top it off, the only guy in the store that knows what he's doing, or seems to, is an arrogant piece of crap, who acts like it is so bothersome that I present these problems. I get home and my phone still does not get service. I have been calling customer service and get a different answer every time. Seems nobody is properly trained and this is nothing but a giant scam. Even when I was first trying to pay my bill, the guy at the kiosk says it's easier to pay online, then you don't have the $3 service charge. Well, I couldn't pay online because I didn't have the 8 digit password. So I have to go pay at the kiosk where he then tells me it's easier to pay in person - now what is easy about that?! Now I am going to try to get this cancelled altogether and get my money back for 3 useless phones. Hate these guys!
I PURCHASED MY PHONES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND TRAVELED ABOUT 55 MILES FOR A VACATION IN BIG BEAR LAKE. NOW I CANT SEND OR RECEIVE PHONE CALLS. I CONTACTED METRO PCS VIA COMPUTER, THEY TOLD ME TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CALLED IN SPOKE TO SOME GUY (MOST LIKELY IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY), HE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD OF PURCHASED A METRO PCS CALLING CARD PRIOR TO TAKING MY VACATION! THEIR SERVICE SUCKS! SOMETIMES I CANT EVER DIAL OUT WHILE IN MY OWN HOME! WE RECEIVE A RECORDING FROM VERIZON TO CONTACT OUR CARRIER! MAYBE VERIZON DOES "RULE THE AIR!"
Customer service is in India and is very bad. My phone has been out of service with dropped calls all day. "DEMAS" says "did you forget to pay your bill"? After 45 minutes of his non sense he says the supervisor is busy but he cannot see my account. I told him i got a bill for 14 cents, knew it was wrong and paid the full amount. I told him the problem is with their tower and when will it be fixed. He then asked me if I am in a basement. IDIOT I wanted to speak to the supervisor but he said the supervisor is busy.After 30 minutes he asks me again if i tried calling 611.I already told him that at the beginning of the call. He said I have to go into a store because my phone is broken. Then he says he must research and leaves for 15 minutes. Comes back and says he is going to get the supervisor. Supervisor wants me to tell the whole story again. Now it is going on 45 minutes with this idiot. I tell the supervisor to read the chat. The supervisor says to turn off the phone then turn it back on. Now it works! What kind of idiots are they hiring in INDIA?
Metro Pcs service is not that great for business calls in general. Maybe good for teenager use. Went back to T-Mobile.
can't pay bill - won't take debit card
For the 3rd month in a row, since getting a new bank and new credit card, Bill Matrix cannot accept my payment. They would have me believe it's the card. I use the card for online and in person purchases everything from departments stores to merchandise companies all the way in China and no one but Bill Matrix has trouble accepting my card. When I check with my credit union that holds the card they say Bill Matrix has not attempted one single transaction. The card is a VISA debit card. Should work just like a credit card and does everyplace else. Spent over an hour tracking down a live person to talk with at Metro PCS, then Bill Matrix. They all would have me believe it's something with the way it's being entered or the card itself. Again, no problems with ANY other purchases and have done dozens the same day even. They leave me no choice now but to either set up Auto Pay, which deducts the charges more than 5 days before they are due or go into a Metro PCS store and pay an additional $3 convenience fee. Not acceptable when Bill Matrix Express pay was free, easy and convenient. If you ask me, they don't want to do anything for free so they want to force debit card payers into the "pay early" option or "$3 convenience fee" option. Bill Matrix staff couldn't even take down my credit card information and try it from their end. Because of course by then my account was locked for too many attempts to pay my bill. Process as a debit doesn't work (they probably simply don't take debit and no one will say it) so I click the option to process as a credit instead (the card does both everyplace except Bill Matrix Express Pay). Then one more time and you're locked out for 24 hrs. So, it's back to the inconvenient store to pay my bill in the most inconvenient way, oh and don't forget I will be charged the extra $3 convenience fee for the privilege of being inconvenienced in this way. Each month (3 now) I try to use Express Pay online as I did for over a year with my old bank account and old credit card. Each moth I end up frustrated and going in to the store again to pay. This is ###! When it's time for a new phone, it's time to say goodbye Metro PCS.

I'm having the same problem and I'm NOT HAPPY! I don't have time to go to their store and wait around for 45 minutes for the staff to take my payment and THEN I REFUSE TO PAY $3 FOR THIS PROBLEM! It's outrageous that they claim it's NOT THEIR PROBLEM! It is their problem and if I have to go to the store to pay my bill, I'm going to make my dissatisfaction loud and clear.
Wow, my bill was due before today, never got a reminder so I had them text me. Tried to pay several times yesterday - would not accept the credit card I've used for several years now! Kept giving error wrong name on card, I can clearly see it's what's on my card and same every month since I had Metro PCS. Today I tried again to pay, they have suspended my account. Tried to call, automated message says cannot accept my payment. Hung up, tried again, now said I owe past due amount of $2.00! Stores don't open for a few hours, but if you pay in store there is a service fee. With all the trouble I've had over the past few years with losing calls, lost connection, etc. I am sure it is time to move on to a more competent cell phone provider. I am very unhappy with the service and how long term customer is treated. The people in the store are not real supportive either.
Had an issue like this today.
Service got suspended so went into the app to make the payment with my Amex Bluebird card and the system said my payment could not be processed at this time.
I log into my BB account, and $50 is pending for MetroPCS. Hours later still no service. I call BB and they said the transaction was approved and gave me the authorization number.
I decide to call Metro but no matter how many times I called and pressed 0 for a rep, the system told me it can't connect me right now. Turns out when your account is suspended and even if you call from a landline using your number for which the account is suspended, it won't transfer you. I had to enter my mom's number to get thru.
Anyway, it took hours to finally figure that out. I spoke to a rep and the first one saw no payment processing even though my BB account showed it pending. The 2nd rep told me the payment failed which also means was declined.
So I call back BB and they told me the funds will be released in 7 calender days...like wtf. First off, a declined charge doesn't hold funds. It's just declined. 2nd of all, why was it even declined when funds were available. Now I'm forced to wait 7 days to get this money back available to me.
Now I'm forced to use other funds to pay this bill when that money was put aside for this bill. Metro doesn't seem to care at all that their system messed up and screwed me over. I refuse to pay a $2 or $3 fee. That's ridiculous.

I have spoke with customer service almost every month in regards to this issue every month they say the same thing that they're filing a claim and somebody will contact me and I will get a credit the next month same issue. I am currently experiencing the same issue, it took my card before, but now I just got a 24 hour lockout. Driving to the store is a hastle, I'll take the L this time, but they need to get their sh#! together.

I too have this issue. I have been paying for years online with no issues and all of a sudden I can no longer pay, says my card number is invalid. Talked to customer service and was told my credit card must be black listed for payment not going through. I don't have auto pay, I pay every month via the web with my check card so it goes through right then, so that is a lie. Was told that it would take three days to get off the list and be able to pay online. Three days later still could not pay, had to go into store. Was able to pay online last month, but this month the same error message. This is ridiculous that Metro has allowed this to go on this long and not take customer service serious enough to leave the company they are working with to process payments. This is my second time having this issue, I'd rather pay more money if I am going to get better customer service. Bye bye Metro.
This same thing has been happening to me for 8 months now. I have to call Metro every month and speak to a manager. They tried telling me it's my card and I knew it wasn't and told them it wasn't. They create a ticket and in 3 days I can suddenly pay my bill online. But next month it happens again and I have to waste my time with the same process. I also tried to sign up for automatic bill pay but the system won't let me do that either because my account is "locked". Metro has to be spending more money on customer service or losing money because of customers leaving than it is by forcing people to spend $3 more because they have to go to the store. I refuse to go to the store I will continue to call every month and waste metros time and money. Doesn't seem cost effective to me.

I have 3 metro phones huawei 850, android and samsung our calls are always being dropped. The signel bars are very low one bar to two no strengh at all I have had metro sence it first came out never really had this problem but it has gotton worse in the past six months. I was told from the metro place on forest hill that I could contact metro componey that you can fix the problem in our area address is 6310 renwood dr fort worth tx 76140 please my calls are always being dropped in the middle of business calls I really need my phone. Can the problem be fixed.
I bought a phone 3 days ago had no signal, Took it back . Tried a different phone still didn't work, .I took it back . He had me try the first phone again still didn't work, After that they would not give me my $160.00 back . So I have a phone I cant use and no money . Very bad customer service . I will never go back there . They just take your money and give you something you cant use . I think there should be a law for what they are doing to people . rebate scams
I purchased 2 phones from Metro PCS authorized dealer on 2/28/11.
There was a Rebate Promotion for $50 Visa Metro Card (Presidents Day Promotions). When I was about to fill out the rebate form today, it states purchase must be between March 1-March 31. Last time I checked Presidents Day is in February. The real kicker is when you click on the Terms & Condtion button, it states must be purchased between 2/1/11-2/28/11.
That is only one of the issues, other issues include:
1. Salesperson only put the insuarnce on 1 phone when I specifically asked her to place it on both.
2. Received a text shortly after making purchase that changes have been made my new balance is $188. ($45+$45+$4+$4=$98)
Then when I called the store where I purchased, they said don't worry about it, should be okay. What does that mean? Am I supposed to just take this persons word for it. And when you call the 800#, once you do finally get through they have no answers either. They said I should go to the corporate store. When I called Corporate, nobody answer the phone.
Keep in mind I only had the phone for less then 24 hours and all these problems already.
Please do yourself a favor and stay away from METRO PCS. It os truley not worth the aggrevation.
Remember, when it sounds too good to be true, most likelly it is!

I did not receive my mail in rebate either from metro PCS - And we filled out everything correctly and mailed it in 5 seconds after we bought it as the post office was right across the street. I ordered a phone from the Metro PCS website. I got an order number and was told they would email me when the phone had been shipped. Never got ANY email from them. Went back to website to track order. The site said they were "reviewing" my order and i would be notified when it was "approved". However, when i called to check my account balance on my debit card, they had already debited my account for the full amount. So, they took my money but have not sent the phone. Every time i have ever bought anything online, i was NEVER charged until the product shipped. So, i called metro pcs to see what the deal was. Once i FINALLY got ahold of an agent i was told they could not help me because they didnt deal with online orders. I said well give me someone who does. I was told i needed to go back to the website and write an email if i wanted help. Did that, and got NO response. So now, i am out of my money, have no phone and cannot get in contact with anyone that will/can help me. I plan on getting an attorney.

I have been trying out the status of the phone records which were subpoeaned by a court and your company does not return emails or my calls even thought they were left all the correct info to respond. im going throught the same thing right now... except for the fact that they charged me twice on my account and i was only given 1 purchase order. something really needs to be done. I had to get a hold of asurian insurance to transfer me over to a live representantive at metro because there automated system is a scam---it doesnt take u to an operator when u tell it to( it wont) trust me i tried a bout 25 times in a half hour process. I spoke to the agent and he told me the same thing. I have my bank statement stating that i was charged twice and i have no product and no money either... We should meet up, ill be getting in touch with my attorny on monday and man i think we have all the proff we need.

Nothing but problems the second month in a row trying to pay my Metro PCS bill using Express Pay by Bill Matrix. Customer Service Rep and her supervisor Alycia were obnoxious and condescending. System times out too quickly and locks you out. If you put it in once as a debit and your card needs to be processed as a credit you end up locked out for 24 hrs. because you attempted it too many times. Seems no matter what you do incorrect, such as miss inputting one field it comes back with a message to try again but counts as an attempt meaning that very, very soon you will be locked out for 24 hrs. unable to pay your bill unless you go in person to a Metro store and pay an additional $3 for the privilege. I am not slow and I am not old. Two months in a row they had me chasing down the information from the US to the Philippines as to why my card was not accepted and I was locked out. Finally this month talking to a customer service rep, then a supervisor from Bill Matrix proved an absolute waste of my time. Once again, headed down to a Metro PCS brick and morter to pay my bill because Bill Matrix has a crappy system! Metro PCS will lose me as a customer over this and I will post on Facebook to my 600 contacts all about my bad experience with Metro PCS and Bill Matrix. I don't really care who's fault it is. I want to talk to a live person when I need to (nearly impossible on both Metro PCS and Bill Matrix) and I want to pay my bill quickly without problems online and without any extra "convenience" fees. People don't use Bill Matrix and don't go Metro PCS unless they drop Bill Matrix and provide a way to pay your bill 1. without an additional convenience fee 2. without having to auto pay it 5 days before it's actually due. RIDICULOUS!
Absolutely agree also! The myth of Metro PCS's "free online bill pay" is a total scam! Think about it . . . they receive millions in extra revenue every month if their customers have to go into a Metro store or use the telephone bill pay! $2.00 a month multiplied by 10 million + customers! I Toatally Agree With You.The Sad Part About it is i have had metro pcs since i was 12 and now im almost and when i first got service with them it was good service but as the years went on they started getting crappy and now they are the crappiest.it sucks bc i talk too much on the fone to go with any other carrier without having an outrageous bill, but im jst going to have to suffer the cost and switch to another carrier.METRO PCS SUX and i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.their fones even suck.i spent $300 on the newest black berry they came out with and the phone is a piece pof crap.every year i end up buying a new phone!The way they do business is utterly horrible.ive never had worst customer service in my life.they way they do their promotions are completely unfair to current customs(ie they had a promotion where yhu buy a blackberry and yhu gt ur service for $50 instead of $60)i think thats bull crap even tho its only $10/month difference thats $120 a year!before they recently changed their express online bill pay it worked very quick and fast but now it asks for yhur zip code nd it doesnt let yhu do anything.so therfore yhu end up either going to the store nd paying the extra $3 or calling it in and paying an extra $2 wtf is the $2 fee for?they're not even doing work we are doing all the work.I HOPE YHU REALLI DID LET UR FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO GET THEM BECAUSE THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS!

I've been a Metro PCS customer for roughly a year now. Two days ago, my phone broke. I went to my local Metro PCS store and purchased a new phone. My first question to Michelle, the woman who helped me, was if I could return the phone. She told me I could, so I purchased a new one.
Now I carefully read the return policy on the receipt. I was very careful to follow all the instructions so I could still return the phone. Two days later, I brought the phone back to the store and was told that I couldn't return an upgrade phone.
I talked with Michelle and reminded her that she told me I could return it. She stated that she never said that to me. My return was denied and I'm out $120.00.

I have been using the ZTE Agent under metros service for about a year. Service has been nothing to go nuts about but until 2 weeks ago, since the storm in riverside county, I have had not only bad service but predictably horrible service. by that I mean I only have service when my phone is left alone. lets say I get a text message. one minute I'll have full service but when I go to check the message and reply the service becomes obsolete. even when I get a phone call I have completely full service till I hang up and I have people worried sick trying to get a hold of me.
There is no customer support to call and ask a question to, its like they are to busy with their personal lives and relationships. that goes for when I am in store, the employees are always on the phone with someone who doesn't sound like a customer.
Hey I need a damn job and if they are not willing to do it right or are too worried about making commission and lying about the leather sleave you have to buy in order to get the deal then let me be their replacement.
4g phone sales no coverage
I am seriously disgusted with the service I was provided at the metro store in oxnard. They pushed a $350+ samsumg phone with 4g capabilities on me.. I am wakin up everynight this problem. I have went to the store I brought the phone from, they I will have towait till they solve the problem . I paid to much for my phone. I do not think my life should be in and up roar because of the company can't fine out what is wrong. I want to keep my phone because I like it very much, but this is a problem when I can not sleep at night. Wow, this seems likes a pretty simple solution if you want to keep your phone. Try turning your phone to vibrate, silent, or put it in another room at night until they can resolve the issue. It's pretty strange that this is causing your life to be so dramatically affected.

I found a metro pcs store in bakersfield @ 2707 south h that was open until 6pm on sundays well I get off work early so I can make it to the metro pcs store by 6pm I get there at 5:50 and I rush to the door in the cold and the door is locked and I can see the girl inside and im telling her through the window please its not 6 oclock yet all I need to do is pay my daughters bill and this * girl just finished counting her money and talking on her * phone uhhhhhhhh this store really pissed me off how are they going to post 6:00 closing time but close befor the posted time also while I was out in the cold waiting asking this girl andother coustomer came up and still that jerkface girl would not help us then you cant even call that store because the number listed is a dame fax machine

worst company ever
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They promised me that if I didn't like the service or the phone I would get a full refund within 7 days or under one hour of talk time. I met both requirements, and now they're refusing to refund my money. On top of that, they initially signed me up for a more expensive plan than I asked for, messed up my password, made up ridiculous excuses for the bad call quality like, because I ported my number from another company I was experiencing bad reception. Absurd. Every single person I dealt with in two different stores couldn't have been older then 23-24 years old. They were not well spoken to say the least. I felt like I was dealing with high school students. Very unprofessional.
Do not sign up for metro PCS. The rates are tempting, but trust me, you get what you pay for. Every person I called complained about how noisy, distorted and thin my voice sounded. Also, I would dial a number and nothing would happen. it would take 2 or 3 tries to get the call through. Trying to get someone from customer service on the phone is almost impossible, and when you finally do, you get someone who isn't capable of helping you.
DON'T USE METRO PCS! YOU WILL REGRET IT.

dishonest sales representative
I purchased a cellphone and signed up the metro pcs monthly plan with c-mobile inc. (Authorized dealer for metro pcs) located at 20834 vanowen street, winnetka, ca 91306 for my son before he left home for college. The young girl named "rnen (Name as printed on the receipt) was dishonest and unfriendly. A customer accidentally knocked down stuff from the counter and expressed very sincere apology to rnen more than one time. Rnen picked up the stuff and then looked at the customer without any expression. We waited for 20 minutes and when it was our turn, she rushed us by saying that the store will be closed in 5 minutes.
We planned to sign up the basic plan of $40/month. Rnen told us that we had to choose the $45/month plan for the first month and then we had to come back to her to change to $40/month. I said that it was odd that we could not choose the right plan for us in the first place. She then claimed that it was the company policy. She processed the transaction quickly and we were out of the door.
When I was home I realized that we were being charged the $50/month plan instead of the $45/month plan as she indicated.in addition, we were being signed up for reoccurring $8 miscellaneous addition services that we did not even sign up for.
I contacted the metro pcs headquarter and a nice representative, andres, explained to me that there was no such rule that we have to join the $45/month for the first month and then switch to the basic plan after. He then told me whenever we go the store to make changes to the plan, the store would charge a processing fee. He gave me a credit of approx $10 for the inappropriate charges. I appreciate for all his professional assistance.
Even though it was not involved a whole lot of money but it is definitely not the right way of doing business. It also adds up if she is dishonest with a lot of the customers and with reoccurring charges.
A lot of people have bad experience with the metro pcs stores. If I had known, I would have gotten the metro pcs cellphones from best buy, walmart or other more reliable stores than the metro pcs store. Then open the account with the metro pcs online. This unpleasant situation would have been avoided.

Sorry about your experience. The stores rating won't increase with plans of only $40, and the stores won't make any money off those plans, either, so they want to sell $45 plans or more so they make a profit and increase their rating. If you come back next week and change your plan back to a $40, they don't care because it doesn't affect their rating. The rating is only based on the time of sale. Kind of stupid, yes, but unfortunatley that is just the way it works. At leat for now. Otherwise, I also agree the sales person was not very good, but I have found this in many stores. Kids these days...
horrible customer support
I say get rid of metro pcs period.
After 2years of having a real crippled down cell phone/online experience…and no way of being able to fully back up my phone in any way or form, minus just the contacts…it was time for me to go.
Try calling their support number for anything and its like a long maze process so you spend more time in an automated experience rather than talking to a live person. Metro pcs needs to just fork out the bill and invest in their customers. Their support is horrible.
Overall it horrible and to be honest with you, I would rather spend a nice amount more to cater to a company like Verizon because I'm like this, why should people feel like their integrity as customers and their respect is compromised based on having a cheap phone service? So in essence, Metropcs’ attitude is “well, just be happy with what you get…because your poor and you can’t afford a good quality phone service so this is what you get”. That’s their attitude.
As a person who was against the cost of high cell phone services and a person who is a hi-tech person, i really prevented myself from even getting a cell phone for years, then i tried out Metropcs.
All along i always felt that i was being provided a trickled down service but never said anything because actually i never really knew what i was missing.
But now I am with Verizon and i have the Droid X and yeah my bill is twice the amount…but i can tell you this….my service is amazing and the things that i can do with my cell phone allows me to be more productive, find real jobs, present myself with quality and the feeling that I’m not a second class consumer.
As for the Samsung Messenger, yes I had the phone. But after switching to the Droid X, their is no competition and yeah…..its an OK phone, but it is still a crippled down phone that would seem like an iPhone to any customer who is on metropcs, lol, that’s the funny thing about it.
The music features on the Messenger pretty much suck and you cannot transfer your itunes music to it, furthermore you might as well rule out the whole idea of a playlist PERIOD while were on the music topic because it’s not happening.
After being on both sides on the cell phone experience, I can honestly say that it’s well worth just working a bit harder and having the money to get a good quality cell phone. For having a quality cellphone is like a person having a laptop and an person having Metro pcs is like a person who has not stepped into the computer laptop world in the 20th century.
Sooooooo out dated.

$50 rebate never received
I never received the $50 rebate I was promised from Metro PCS for a Samsung Caliber cell phone I purchased back on 6/8/10. 10 weeks for shipment has turned into almost 4 months now. I called Samsung rebate weeks ago at [protected] and left a message on their machine but they never returned my call. I sent Metro PCS a message on their website rebate page, but they said to call Samsung at the same number I called weeks ago with no return call. Such a typical scam where seller promises the world and then wipes their hands clean, saying to call someone else when things go wrong. Rebate companies don't send out the rebate banking on the whim that the buyer won't remember or follow up on the rebate. This has been so frustrating chasing these companies around.

It has been 7 weeks since I sent in all of my information required to receive my $40.00 visa rebate from Metro Pc for the purchase of a Samsung Freedom sale phone and as of 09/13/2010 I still haven't received my rebate. When I went back to the metro location in riverdale ga on hwy 85 I was informed by the clerk that I should receive it in a couple of more weeks and to pour salt on my wound I also found out that the same phone that I had the rebate on could now be purchased with a instant $40.00 rebate but when I purchased my phone I had to mail my rebate. Totally dissatisfied !

The worst ever cellphone company in the US.. I bought a cellphone with a rebate, that i never get my rebate back after 4months. They said my rebate is invalid because i didn't have a new activation number.. Which it wasn't right because i did have that new number. They said in teir rebate system it didn't say that, so my rebate is under review and i have to call back after 7 business days..I have been calling Metrapcs Rebate Center until now since July 2010 every week 1 times, and always give me a different answer from different customer service. It makes me really believes that this company is really a big liar in their marketing and customer services sytem. They gave all the promotions about their rebate in order to sell their cellphones and then create a difficulties for their customer to claim their rebates. when customer complaints about it, they never get any significant answer at all. I will never ever deal with this company again. A big LIAR!

They have the worst support system on the planet, nobody has a clue and they prefer to lie instead of actually trying to help. Even if you call the corporate office and figure out how to get a real human on the phone they are even worse than the losers in the stores, there is obviously no training involved to become any kind of employee of MetroPCS, if you have more than a high school diploma you are way over qualified. The low prices may sucker you in but god help you if you ever need any kind of help and or support, the obvious fact is that they do not care about customer satisfaction or retention. $3 convenience fee
We pay our monthly cellphone bill in cash at Clearcom Wireless, 4701 Clayton Road, Concord Ca. In addition to the $40 cellphone bill we are charged a $3 convenience fee. Clearcom staff tells us that it is a Metro PCS fee that you would pay at any location. Paying an additonal $3 for the priviledge of paying the bill in cash seems illegal - please advise who I can contact for help.

We are charged $3.99 for the privilege of paying our bill directly on the phone. IF we pay at a Metro PCS location they charge $6.00. Our monthly bill is $40 so they are actually charging us 10% to pay our bill. There should be a way to pay the bill without incurring a convenience charge but apparently there isn't. The convenience fee is extremely inconvenient. I switched from t mobile to metro believing metro was cheaper but its obviously not. I switched my plan from the 50 dollar 4Glte plan to the 40 dollar plan and my total was 38 dollars? But with the convenience fee added my ending total was 41 dollars? the convenince fee is the charge for the company taking the payment, when you walk into a Metro Store it does not mean that Metro is the owner, it is a convenince because their processing your payment. You can mail it your self for no charge or you can make a payment your self online for no charge, now this is 2011 nothing is free, be happy your not paying for air yet.
Well now it's 2016 and I looked up conveneance fee. It states a fee charged for the privilege of paying with a credit credit card. Well I just went in to the metro pics store and paid my bill. I CALLED METRO AND ASKED THEM IF THIER SIGN SAYS "ALL TAXES INCLUDED NO HIDDEN FEES" IS IT NOT FALSE ADVERTISING TO HIT ME WITH A 3 DOLLAR CONVENIENCE CHARGE.
