Mashed potatoes
Thie mashed potatoes had 3 large blk specks in them. They were not out of date. I though maybe I scraped some of blk container when serving. I purchased them again this week blk specs smaller I thought pepper but it wasn’t. I had already eaten some before I saw blk specs. So this grossed me out. I ordered a Door Dash delivery from the Bob Evens restaurant in Gahana, Ohio on Monday 1/30/2023. Upon delivery i noticed that the order I received was the incorrect order. I tried making contact with the driver as well as Door Dash but wasn't able to reach anyone. I then contacted the restaurant itself abs spoke with the manager "Eric." After explaining the issue he said that the driver grabbed the wrong bag. When I asked about receiving my correct order he said that the only thing that he could do was refund my order. He also said that they are remaking the order for the person's order i did receive. I ask if he was remaking my order so that i would have it and he told me no and that i have to do a complete reorder to receive my food. I explained that I was at work alone and couldn't leave to get other food but he refused to send my order. This wasn't my mistake but I was the one being left without my order. He was making sure to get the other person's order remade but completely dismissed mine.
I am upset how nasty the restaurant
The restaurant we go to is in Coshocton Ohio, I am disgusted by how nasty it is. They have plastic glass on top of all booths which are just so nasty, they never clean them. The walls next to the booths have nasty crusted food on them that never get cleaned. There’s food smeared on the booths which never get cleaned. The floors haven’t been clean with food & trash on them. The food is amazing & I love their food but the nastiness makes me not want to eat there again
Desired outcome: To have someone deep clean the restaurant & keep it clean

Placed my order this morning with your Company. My order was cooked to order-but the home fries were burnt a little, but edible. The problem with the order was we did not receive any eating utensils or our bread. when I called the restaurant, I was told to come to get it and the manager hung up the phone.

Since, no contacted us when we sent a complaint locally. We went to the Bob Evans at 6420 kit in Maumee, Ohio about 2 weeks ago. It took over an hour to receive our food. When the food did come out, it came out one person's food every 5–10 minutes. We never officially received all our food, either. My son who was the hungriest of everyone never received his piggy pancakes. Majority of the stuff came out wrong, unpair and cold. Manager was extremely rude when tried to get problem resolved and basically waved us off. She wouldn't even come over to the table to discuss it or observe it. She just continued to blame it on the waitress. Waitress was polite and was trying her best.
Desired outcome: Correction on the service they provide.
We went to the Bob Evans in Streetsboro to eat and when we were leaving I used my credit card to pay for the meals. I was just about to enter the tip amount when the cashier reached around and started pressing keys on the chip reader and preceded to total my bill. I told her to cancel my receipt. She said she didn't know how. I said ask your manager and she said the manager didn't know how either. I then told her to ask the serving manager and she said she too didn't kinow how to do it either. How can that be possible? This is the second time this has happened to me. On a take - out order something was rung up wrong. I received the same thing as an explanation. Don't these ladies know to how to handle a register? I am very disappointed in Bob Evans! I will have to think twice before going there again.

pot roast family dinners
On Jan. 12th I purchased the above product. First, it says the meal feeds 6 ( not a chance, maybe 4). Second, the website clearly states,( as does the accompanying photos on the website) shows, that it comes with carrots, which mine did not. When I called and talked to the manager ( Baltimore 4110 Wholesale Club Dr check #890173) I was told that carrots could be chosen as a side but did not come with the pot roast. As I stated, the picture clearly shows it with carrots, nor are carrots even listed as a SIDE on the website. Somehow customers should know how much, by weight of food they are getting. Last time for me ordering this family meal.
We have been having a problem with the Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes
My husband has been on a soft diet for about three months. I have been buying him Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes to eat often. I buy him 8 Family sized packages monthly. I buy them from a local Shop n Save store but the last eight packages I have purchased for him have been very lumpy. Originally, when I bought these they were very good and not lumpy, but lately we're very disappointed. I hope to find that this is a temporary problem.
Desired outcome: Perhaps a few coupons to help with future purchases.
Service Bathroom not maintained unnecessary long wait
pMy wife & went to Defiance OH location. there were 4-5 staffers on floor & about 3/4 of seating available. We had a 15-20 minute wait. there was 2 couples ahead of us. the mens restroom had no soap or towels. as soon as we were seated our server asked for our order! why didnt they let us sit at empty tables with menus while we waited instead of crowding us in the waiting area. when my order came it was wrong and the hotcakes were about 3/4 of the size they used to be! They should have called them silver dollars. The final straw was when the server asked if we wanted two separate bills...like i couldnt afford to pay for both meals just since i was in my work clothes!
Desired outcome: better service, soap & towels in restroom, a policy that people can wait at tables with menus to decide what they want. a gift certificate wouldnt hurt also, it would encourage me to visit again sooner than i am willing to right now

My name is Vickie Brown-Smith, I purchased on Christmas Eve December 24 a family pot roast meal. From the Kenwood location on Montgomery road, in Cincinnati Ohio. Upon opening up the meal the pot roast had absolutely no vegetables in it and just a handful of onions, the biscuits were not even cooked all the way, some of them didn’t even rise, the macaroni and cheese was like soup, an excessive amount of cheese and hardly no macaroni. This purchase was made to add to my Family Christmas meal on December 25. I would like to have my $47 reimbursed for such a horrible meal and the inconvenience of having to modify my Christmas dinner.In addition the meal was not ready at the pick time, (4:45) so we had to wait for quite sometime and the staff shared they only had 3 people working. We couldn’t return due to the hour and inclement weather. The next day was Christmas Day.

Sour Cream & Chives Mashed Potatoes - [protected]
I have purchased these potatoes every week for a number of years. Today, 12/22/22, I made my usual Shepherd's Pie, (the potatoes are a great shortcut to making this meal, which I have shared with my UK family). However, I found two problems with the potatoes today.
1. The potatoes were very sloppy, very little body.
2. They were so salty that, when I licked the fork after I finished stirring, it stung my tongue it was so strong.
We are told to cut back on sodium, not add to it. Please let us have the opportunity to add more salt if we want it.
When I checked the ingredients on the outer package, I noticed salt was list three times, which makes one wonder - is all that necessary?
Desired outcome: I would hope that the salt level could be reduced so that I don't have to search for an alternative product. I would also appreciate a response as to what action will be taken. Many thanks.
Potato soup
I ordered 2 family potato soup carry out last night 12/20/22 from your Ashtabula, Ohio store. When I got home and my husband and I ate one of them we were surprised that the potatoes were not cooked. It was very hard to eat just the one. I called the store today 12/21/22 to let the manager know about this and they had me on hold for 20 minutes. I am sorry that I hung up, but my time is important and I have things I had to do. I do not know if this is the way that they don't have to deal with customers or not. I was not happy.

Our families were traveling and decided to stop at one of your restaurants in Frederick, Maryland to eat. On December 14, 2022, we were seated and gave our order. To our surprise everyone noticed there was no Christmas decorations in your Restaurant. We asked the waitress why not her response was it is a corporate decision.
We could not believe a business of over 60 years would cave to this woke ideology. This is a formal complaint asking you to put Christmas back in your restaurants. This decision is to say the least is very disturbing to America and Americans shame on you.
This was topic of discussion during our meal it was decided that our families will not patronize your restaurants from this point forward until we see Christmas back in your businesses. Yes, we have a big family and will be letting others know on social media what you're doing. Please correct this Mistake.

My family size Bob Evans mashed potatoes did not live up to its reputation. We purchase and eat these at least once a month, as it's my favorite side dish. What we had last night was almost like the old, boxed potatoes. There were lumps in it and it was watery.

Thanksgiving dinner food
The food was delivered the day before Thanksgiving,Wednesday, November 23, 2022. The delivery person did not ring the bell or knock on the door. Fortunately, my son called, from out of town, to see if I received the food. It was sitting on the porch, and I refrigerated immediately. Fortunately, the animals in the nearby woods had not tampered with the box.
The beverages ordered were never delivered. We had to rush out and purchase drinks.
The white potatoes were molded, and therefore, inedible. When opened to warm for dinner, there was mold throughout the potatoes.
The white turkey meat was like a sandwich loaf, only raw and tough. I had to cook it.
My son ordered the meal because we had ill and hospitalized relatives. He was trying to help me out since we had many people coming for dinner, and I had just hospitalized my sister. My son has too many responsibilities to write a complaint. However, I can' t begin to express my disappointment with a company like yours during our time of difficulty.
Desired outcome: My son should be refunded his money. However, he never makes complaints. I hope you will be more careful with the food you provide in the future. If I had made the order, I would want a refund - at least for the potatoes and beverages.

I've really seen our BoB Evans Location go downhill. For the most part the food is good but the service needs a little structure and professional touch. If you go in there is NEVER someone to host you and you wait and are NEVER greeted. I think they have a big turnover in employees because you seldom see the same ones. There is less than a handful that are friendly or deserve their tip. None of them act like they want to be there. The food as been fine when received but the "wait time" is a little ridiculous for say a Salad or club sandwich? You should be greeted when coming in and someone at the register at all times. I"ve seen OLD people have to STAND with a cane for 10-min or more to be checked in or checked out. Very sad and should not represent Bob Evans in our area. Thank you! for your time... hope to see it improve...
