Breakfast Sub par
Stopped this morning and had breakfast for 3 at the Hermitage Bob Evans. First I order the Family Bacon basket that was featured in the signage. Didn’t look anything like that. Looked more boiled than grilled. Sent it back to be cooked and was still not like the pic. Next we all 3 ordered hash BROWNS. No brown. Seriously like boiled in grease. I think the cook is afraid of the grill. Worst part is I originally ordered them well done. Not what I expect at a Bob Evans. Very disappointed.
Desired outcome: Train the cook / offer discount on next breakfast
Wildfire Chicken Salad at Bob Evans was okay except for the chicken
My husband and I stopped at the Bob Evans on Commercial Drive in Lansing, MI #412. My husband ordered the Wildfire Chicken Salad and was very disappointed that the fried chicken pieces were inedible, couldn't even cut them with a knife. We mentioned this to the waitress who spoke to the manager. They said they would make another one but it was already after 8:00 p.m. and we still had a long drive ahead of us so we declined. He did give us a 20% discount on the salad.
I just wanted your office to be aware of this situation. We have been to this location on several occasions but were very disappointed with this visit.
Desired outcome: We would like to receive a full refund or coupon for another salad.
Customers not being seated when vacant tables are available.
On any given Sunday he Bob Evans Store on Zumbehl Road in St. Charles Mo. 63301 has vacant tables visible but the customers are not seated, Some waits up to 45 minutes to be seated. Why when a table is available are their waiting customers not seated? I have seen as many at six cleaned tables with no customers.

The last two visits to the ashland ohio resteraunt, my food was bad! Pancakes underdone! Home fries overdone, hard and crunchy. I ordered same meal each time. My wife and I visit this resteraunt weekly after Thursdays visit to the ymca. Have developed a good relationship with a server named Courtney. Didn't want to complain to her. Could you check up on reviews of the cook on the early afternoon shift?
Desired outcome: Mebbee some more training for the cook! I will give it another try this Thursday. If it's still terrible food, my wife and I will just move on to another resteraunt. A response would be appreciated.
Family size original mashed potatoes
Went to heat up the mashed potatoes and noticed that there were several black chunks of something. One of them was even pellet shaped, almost like rodent feces. This is beyond disgusting! I see there are several of the same type of complaint, on complaintsboard. I’m sure nothing will be done, because it looks like it’s been happening since 2016.
Bob Evans Garlic Mashed Potoatoes
-I purchased the 24oz container of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, making them for part of my dinner on 8/20/2022. After they were cooked according to the microwave instructions and serving them with my other cook meal. I proceeded to eat them, when I bit into something hard. I removed it from my mouth seeing that it was something that was not neither garlic nor potato, and dark. It was not a good feeling to eat something strange, I took photos of this foreign object. This was my first time buying this product, a friend told me they were great, this is why I was giving them a try. Well needless to say not sure if I care to give them another go at. Scare to find another foreign object in product. What can be done about this, and to find out what was in the product in my mouth UGH! The product expiration date is 09-05-2022 KCL4. My daughter and I did go to a Bob Evans Restaurant one time, never to return again. We experienced terrible service, my salad as well as hers had very dirty lettuce, bad tomatoes. Did not eat, showed to server, and asked her not to bring another one. Not a great place to eat as far as we were concerned.

Poor management and poor service
I was in the MIchigan Ave., Canton, Michigan restaurant and was very disappointed for not the first time. It will be my last time. I will never go back to that restaurant. I waited 50 minutes and received coffee only. There had been a man who was seated 5 minutes, (40-45 minutes after I was there), and received his food. When I asked the waitress about my food, she lied to me. She said another waitress put in all of her orders at one time. I knew this was false, because the man seated for 5 minutes, came in long after I put my order in. This facility is a disgrace to all restaurants, Scott (manager) is one of the worst managers I have seen. I have been in retail for over 38 years and know a good manager. Scott is not one of them. I have heard him speak to the waitresses in not a professional manner. I hope Bob Evans can take care of this facility. If not, shut it down!

They are watery, I use to love them, not anymore. I think they are gross. Why are the potatoes watery it's full of water, and when you fix them they aren't like they use to be. They are running. full of brown chunks. I used to buy 3-5 a week, now I don't pay any. The ones I have in my refrigerator I don't want to eat, but I pay $4.99. each that's crazy. I will go back to peeling the potatoes myself. I can't believe your brand. You need to get better control over the people at that Plant. Your name has been around a long time. Don't like them ruin it. I'm not paying them for a while. I think you all owe me. for the 6 I have in my refrigerator.
Bob Evans Family size mashed potatoes
I just bought a Family size Bob Evans mashed potatoes last week about Aug15, 2022.. They're not expired, the expiration date is 9/18/22. My Son was making the mashed potatoes by spooning half of them into a bowl to cook. He said he found a piece of rubber in the mashed potatoes. We actually looked closer and we think it's plastic. I don't have the receipt, but I have the packaging and two pictures of the object.
Cleanliness and food portions.
My wife and I recently had dinner at the Pekin, Illinois Bob Evans. We have eaten there for many years. The floor in the dining area was filthy; the floor was strewn with litter (straw wrappers, napkins, paper etc.) We saw the manager come out and he made a few halfhearted swipes with a broom before he disappeared into the kitchen. Another couple came in after us and the lady said to my wife, "Guess i should have brought my Hoover".
This was Thursday, August 18, at 7:00 pm. Other than my wife, and I, there was only three other people at this time of the evening.
The glass partition at our booth was smeared with looked like a child's dirty handprints, and the overall appearance of the restaurant was shabby. The carpet is quite worn and dirty, and the level of overall wear in this restaurant is noticeable.
The food was good, But I could not help noticing that my dinner had an exceeding small portion of the roast beef. I have ordered this dinner in the past and I remarked that giving my meal a few more carrots did not take away from the fact that I received about a third of the roast beef that usually came with this meal.
The check was another surprise. Our meals now cost eight dollars more than we had previously paid. I know that food costs more now, but at the same time you raise the prices you shouldn't give the customer smaller portions.
The only bright spot in our dining experience was our server, Abigail. I actually felt sorry that this young lady was working in such a depressing place.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response. This Bob Evans is sinking fast!
The Bellefontaine oh Restaurant. The lack of service & poor management
7/24/22 my wife and I decided to go have dinner. This was at 7:00 PM. We both ordered salads. During this time we waited over an hour and still not waited on. People at other tables was waited on & received their full meals. During this time they were not busy at all. I noticed several waitresses standing around talking with several customers not waited on and many tables sitting with dirty dishes. We decided to get up and leave and than other customers followed. I told the manager we was leaving an why. She said nothing and acted like she didn’t care. I will not be back. I feel that the Bellefontaine oh store is not managed correctly and needs someone from Corporate to step in. I uear a lot of people not happy. Thank you Keith Whitaker

I had met my sister at Bob Evans for breakfast at restaurant #571 here in South Euclid, Ohio on 7/21/2022 at 10 am for her 71st Birthday. Upon arriving we were told there was a 15 minute wait which turned into 30 minutes, the place was not full, the tables where people had been sitting was piled with dirty dishes. After eating multiple forkfulls of Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes I noticed a one inch wide by half inch long black piece of foreign matter in the potatoes...Use by date 07/06/22...

7-7-2022 about 11:40am! My Friend & I stopped at Bob Evans on First Street in Springfield, Ohio to eat with our 3 small Grandchildren ( 2 three year olds & 1 six year old)! The middle aged Lady that was going to seat us asked how many? We said 5 & she said I can't set that many at a Booth for safety reasons! I said there are 2 adults & 3 little kids we always set at a Booth when we come in here! She said well I can't do it! So we told her we would just go to Red Lobster then & we left! We went to Red Lobster & had no problems getting a Booth! We were at the same Bob Evans about 3 weeks ago with 3 adults & the 3 Grandchildren & they seated us in a Booth!
Desired outcome: I want someone to talk to the Employee's about being more considerate & accommodating! We won't be back in to eat here again as long as the Grandchildren are with us or maybe never!
Unreasonably long wait time for a pre-planned reservation
We had a large family event (for ~80 people) reserved a few weeks in advance for July 5th at 6 pm. We sent in our orders a week ahead of time, but the staff did not start giving our orders to the chef until an HOUR after our reservation time! Most of our tables had to wait 2+ hours for food. I am typing this at 10 pm and some are still waiting; it's been over 4 hours! There shouldn't be a wait for planned events.
Not to mention, some orders had mistakes and missing items.
Desired outcome: Full refund ASAP
Hair in Food
I placed a phone order on July 1, 2022 and picked it up at the Monroeville, PA location. I made several attempts for delivery with no success at this restaurant and then did the phone order with a pick up time of 5:45 pm, when I got there around 5:40 pm I give the cashier my pick up order information. She proceeded to give me the amount of my order and I had to have her recalculate the amount because it was wrong. She then tired to give me an incorrect order which was totally different from my original order. The manager on duty, Adam made the correction to amount and also order. I also placed another order while waiting on my original order for another person for take out. However, when I got home and was dining in our community room with the second order I picked up, I proceeded to cut my chopped steak into pieces, I put a piece with some mash potatoes and gravy on the fork and was ready to put in my mouth when I saw a long dark colored piece of hair. I took a photo by there were three other people present and saw it up close as well. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to Adam and he apologized for this incident and said he would notify Corporate but I'm following up as well because I was very upset because I really like the Chop Steak meal from your restaurant and was
