The recent Burger King commercial about the impossible whopper concerns me. In the commercial, a man says, "I'm a damn fool." I am a teacher, and I strive daily to teach my kids about the importance of using kind, appropriate words. It is hard to reinforce expectations when businesses such as yourself use profanity in commercials. Kids are listening. Please use greater care in your selection of words when broadcasting to such a varied audience. Thank you.

On Oct 7th 2019 I entered the burger king in Phoenix az off 19th ave and the 101 freeway. When I got home all the food felt and looked like it had been sitting there for over an hour cold, hard even the bread hard like a rock could not even eat it and the meals I ordered were for my children. Immediately called the location addressing the issue. I came back a few days later due to it being an inconvenience for me to go all the way back there. drive thru and employee lack of respect
Last night about 10 p.m. I went to my local Burger King used the drive-thru attempted to pay for my order with two gift cards both have a balance of 15 each my order was less than 20 she told me my cards were decline for insufficient funds even when I showed her she attempted nothing now manager or anything and ask for my drinks like she really needed those they were going to have to go in the trash anyway very poor respect for customers I will not be going back there horrible service.

Stopped this morning to get breakfast to go at the drive-thru, although the young man who took my order was very pleasant; the food was horrible. For the sum of $6.35 I got a waffle sandwich tater rounds and a coffee
The waffle was so hard that I couldn't bite it all i could eat was the sausage off the sandwich, the taters were stone cold.
Since i parked in the parking lot there was no drive time or anything that should have interfered with the quality of the food.
Was going to go in and complain but what good would that do? The best way to get my point across is not to stop there again, there is a McDonalds about two miles away.

I have ordered the crispy chicken sandwich multiple times in the past years. The last couple of years the prices go up and the quality has gone down. Store on Auto Center in Salinas, California is understaffed. When other employees are sent to help from other locations they make it worse not better. Vianca who was helping from another location is always socializing with manager Linette (also from another location), who assigns her easier work, even during rush hour. Linette once had a girl cleaning, manning the front counter and the drive through by herself, while her friend Vianca was told to just "clean the office". Another time during rush hour Linnete had Vianca watching videos in office instead of helping customers. Really? Linnete wants to be district manager but can't even delegate work properly, or fairly for that matter. Employees manning the drive through are pressured by management to keep the timer low even though they are alone manning 2 or 3 areas, doing the work 2-3 people should be doing. Yesterday when Linette left she took our last box of ketchup, leaving us with no ketchup at all. Apparently her location on Sanborn was out of ketchup and she couldn't have that, but it was perfectly fine for the Auto Center location to have none. Are you sure you want to promote this person? These managers are incompetent and unfair. They play favorites and don't know how to properly delegate tasks. Oh, the employees are also pressured into reviewing their location several times by using codes or info found on old receipts customers leave behind. This is dishonest and uncomfortable for employees. The reviews should be honest and from customers, and not because employees are being intimidated by their superiors to fill these out. Catherine, one of the supervisors in the Auto Center location in Salinas, has been pressuring employees to fill these out and asking them to tell their families and friends to do it as well. She even said you can do multiple reviews so they get a good rating. This is shady and unethical. Please please please get better quality supervisors that follow company policies ethically.

I think the commercial has to be understood in the context of what the founder of Whole Foods said about plant based meat substitutes. Eating beef, or eating a traditional veggie patty made out of beans, onions, etc., is infinitely more healthy than the chemical-laden products that "bleed" and try to imitate the flavor and texture of meat. The actor in the commercial is alluding to this; if you ingest one of these hideous frankenstein patties, you are in fact, "a damned fool".
I too feel this commercial is inappropriate. The use of this language has negatively impacted my opinion of the franchise.

I agree that it’s your job to parent and teach your kids right from wrong. But, when I want to watch football on Saturday and Sunday and the background TV is so loud and my three year old starts saying “I’m a damn fool” that irritates me a bit. Yes, I tell her it’s an unkind word and to not use it. However, she is three... you can’t expect her to never say it again... this doesn’t make anyone a snowflake... it makes us involved parents noticing negative rhetoric on TV which we are clearly monitoring.
