Burger King thieves for employees

I went through the drive through this morning and the employee who waited on me didn't give me my change but gave me my receipt. The person in the car with me witnessed her not giving the change. When I told her that she had not given it to me...she began to argue saying she did. Needless to say...I told her "you need to count down your register then". After being told to pull around until she did...10 mins. later...No one has come out to say anything. After going inside the manager told me the register wasnt over and that "we dont give back money like that"...Told her pull surveilance because money doesn't grow on trees. She told me she would call me after she checked. its 9 hours later now and I never received a call. And she's now off from work until Tuesday.

LMAO. Nice job. Try to cause a stink when you had your change the whole time. It's customers like you that make working customer service suck so terribly.

Please disreguard this letter, I just found my change, apparently instead of putting it in my purse I normally use I placed it in my wallet. Did not find out until after I wrote this letter. I went to buy some groceries and found out that she was right and had given me the change. Thanks for reading though.

Burger King the adult 'baby' campaign is so offensive, and so stupid

I'm not even sure that this is going to get to the right person, the one that can really make a difference, as you don't have an obvious 'customer-service' or 'customer response' email link on your main site. I'm sure that is contributing to your declining market share, of your substandard, failing franchise.

I am writing this email, and taking the extra time to find a contact address, because I think that your new commercials, featuring the 'adult baby' are so offensive, and so rediculous, that I will NEVER, EVER, again come to one of your franchises! What were you thinking, when you came up with this stupid, '###ed' concept for commercials? Are you suggesting that your customers are '###ed' adult babies?

I would have your entire advertising staff scrubbing toilets, and have the 'janitors' promoted to the marketing postions! How did you screw the pooch, so offensively, and so obviously? I'm sure that the janitors would do a much better job, creating new advertising campaigns!

The adult 'baby' campaign is so offensive, and so stupid, that I wish that there was more that I could do than just post a blog. . .

Shame on you for demeaning, and offending the entire nation, and demeaning us, in such a foolish, and absurd way!

She obviously couldn't hear you. I know you can understand this because you had to roll your window completely down to ask "What did you say?" which means you also couldn't hear her over the rain and your own engine. It's a damn shame when people are trying to make it easier for you to complete your own order and you ruin your own day because you refuse to understand the concept of patience. If this is the way you typically react, maybe you drink too much coffee and an afternoon without it probably did you a lot of good.

Burger King why are there no policies to wear plastic protective gloves

My concern is this. Why are there no policies in place in South Carolina requiring employees of Burger King (that actually handle food) to wear plastic protective gloves. We stopped at a Burger King yesterday at Tanger Outlets in Charleston area and our sandwiches were prepared with bare hands. One would hope that wearing protective gloves is a world wide requirement. We're originally from New York and all restaurants and supermarkets require employees use gloves when handling food. We threw the food away and will not be dining at any restaurant that doesn't take some precautions against the spread of infectious disease. It's disgusting. :-P

Burger King poor service and dirty conditions

My wife and I went to the Burger King located at 2435 25th Ave Greeley, CO 80634 for lunch on 12/23/09 (1 pm). The inside of the restaurant was very dirty, including the floors, and tables. The employee who took our order could barely speak English and had a very difficult time entering our order. It took 15 minutes for us to receive our order (eat in) which consisted of a Whopper Jr, Chicken Sandwich, 2 small fires and 2 small drinks. Both sandwiches were cold and not eatable. The girl who took our order assisted a customer who lost her keys in the trash. The employee helped dig through the trash with bare hands. Once the keys were found, the employee returned to her post and began to fill fry bags without washing her hands. A group of friends of the employees came in and hung out at the counter speaking very loudly in Spanish, laughing and goofing off. We were disgusted at the condition of the restaurant, the food was not eatable and seeing an employee dig though the trash and not wash her hands was disgusting. We will no longer visit this or any Burger Kings in the future.

Burger King i will never ever do business at this particular burger king

My aunt Terry sent this to me today. This is a true story that happened to her today (12/24/09). It will make you mad! Unbelievable that people could treat someone like this. What my aunt didn't mention was that this woman wasn't a teenager that worked at burger king, but a woman in her 40's, though it would be just as bad no matter what age she was. Please read this and pass it on. Thank you, Jeremiah Wilson

A lady came into our shop today to pay off her account. To let you know something about this ladies character I would like to share what I know of her. Our business provided a service to her this December 2009. On the date that she agreed to pay she came to the shop and said that she would not be able to pay at this time but that she would pay on her next pay day (December 24, 2009). She left and we surmised that we would never see her or our money again. (shame on us!) On December 24, 2009, true to her word she came to the shop and paid her account in full. She stayed for awhile and related this story with us. We realize that of course there are two sides to every story but I believe this person's account of what happened. I do not know this person at all so I will relate and my give opinion of the situation, you can make your own assumption of the situation.

It seems that at the Burger King on 4508 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho 83202 they had their annual Christmas party. It must have been a potluck, as everyone was suppose to bring something. This lady knew about the party, she showed up early by one half hour because she was suppose to work the shift that day. She was unable to bring anything for the potluck as she could not afford it.

She was told that she could not participate in the party because she had not brought anything to share. She was also told that she could not be loitering around waiting for her shift to begin. She was told to wait in her vehicle until it was time to begin her shift. She said that she went to her car and cried because she felt humiliated. This is not your typical teenager, I would guess her to be in her forties.

She came in to start her shift to find that the food was all locked up in the managers office. She completed her shift and prepared to leave. The manager opened the office and invited the rest of the employee's to share the left overs. This lady decided that she no longer wanted to be employed at this place of business and quit her job. ( I can't say that I blame her for that) She went in to pick up her check, I would guess at about 10:00 A.M. and was told that they could actually make her wait until 3:00P.M. if they wanted too. (she came to our place of business to pay her account at 10:30 A.M.

She really never said anything bad about her former employer, only that her feelings had been hurt over the party incident.

I guess that maybe I am a bleeding heart but I really wanted to know if it was really as bad as it sounded so I called Burger King and asked to talk with the manager, not the shift manager, the manager of the store. The person who answered the phone identified theirselve as "Linda"ans said that she was the manager. I identified myself by first and last name and asked her to do the same. She became very defensive and wanted to know what this was regarding. I began the story, she very abruptly and rudely said that she didn't want too, and would not discuss it with me, then she hung up on me. It really was none of my business but I just absolutely could not believe that this story could be this sad without some provocation. If she would have just talked with me the problem would have been resolved. NOW, I promise that I will NEVER, EVER do business at this particular BURGER KING.

Have a Merry Christmas and keep the reason for the season in your heart.

Burger King unfair business practices

There is a big advertising budget for the $1 Double Cheeseburger. Billboards show it with lettuce and tomato. I ordered them a couple of times and they were served without these items. Then I was told you had to ASK for them (clearly trying to save a few pennies). So I did. It worked fine. Then today, I ordered, asked for lettuce and tomato, and discovered I was charged 10¢. I guess they figure they can. BUT, it is a 10% surcharge for something that the advertising indicates is standard. Not fair, guys!

Burger King poor service

I was a frequent consumer who dines at Orchard Central Burger King. My friend introduced the place to me for the quiet and relaxing environment. I noticed that there is a few power sockets provided there and I had seen a few people using laptops and/or charging mobile phones.

On Thursday, 15th April, 2010, I was using my laptop at Orchard Central Burger King. It was until when a guy besides my table asked me whether the power plugs are working or not. I thought it should not be a problem because I saw someone using it there just a moment ago. However, when i checked my laptop battery life, I was Shocked. It was not charging at all. I then realised that the power supply has been cut off.

The problem now is not whether I can use the electricity here or not. What if I am doing a project and if I do not bring an external battery, my laptop will be shut down unknowingly and suddenly. IF burger king does not provide this service for the consumers, why put a few power sockets there? Even if there is a specific timings for the power supply to be on, the management should at least put up a notice or something.

I am utterly disappointed with burger king management. It will be hard for me to frequent BK in the future..

Burger King another bad commercial

I think taht the ideaology behind showing the "King" breaking and entering into McDonalds Headquarters to steal the original Egg McMuffin was about as inappropriate as it gets. As I have read the other complaints about he sexual suggestions behind the Sponge Bob commercial, i think that the marketing department at BK HQ should seriously take a step back and ask themselves what the heck they think they are doing. now, i am always one for making fun of stuff, but suggesting that it is alright to break into someplace and them steal something is going to far, especially since my impressionable 12 yr old thought it was funny. I think it goes to show that BK is losing the battel to McDonalds. That commerial just validates the point that they cannot come out with something new and original!

BK corporate, you havd better get a grip on tha marketing department before they run you out of business. I know plenty of people that have not been happy with the services and lame ploys at commercials lately. You want to steal business away from McDonald, maybe someone should consider going to back to how things use to be, when you could get a whopper meal with everything for under $5. The best way to secure business in this failing global economy is to reach out to the consumers and get into their pockets. The best way to do that is to save them money while provide high quality customer service an food!

Burger King wrong people taking managers position

This is reference to burger king store # 8119. I've been visiting this store for about 9 months now and never seen a male manager nor pl. I've also notice that an employee working there was once a manager at KFC. Not saying that the managers and Pl's that are there now are not doing there job, but its very rare to see male managers. Also noticed that a female at the same store probaly been working there around 1.5 months now have a black shirt, in which this guy i was speaking on has been there over 4.5 months. Yea you can say i see everything. Everytime im in the store which is everyday i see him bust his tail working, he's all over the place doing odd jobs making sure the store is clean. That's what type of people we need in management, not someone who has a lead to that position. I know it was a lead cause i overheard conversations as the employees were taking breaks in the store. I truly don't thnk this is the right choice. I see him motivated and yes qualified for the position but yet you make a FEMALE who's been there for a few weeks a pl. Please review this before i have to make a disrcimination complaint.

This is about the night I went to BK around 10:30pm Sat night to order a regular decaf and an angry whopper which really made me angry but could not show it. I told the crew I want a whopper and a decaf and that I asked her to add 2 cream and 1 sugar to my coffee which she did not made any comment. She only told me about the amount which was $5.12. So I went to the cashier's window and found out there was no cream nor sugar in my decaf and that she told me " we are not allowed to. We are not like Mcdonald's. It's $5.12". So I paid and said you could have told me you can't add the cream or the sugar and she did not even look at me. What an employee you Burger King has or hwhat kind of training do you have in your company? And yes, you don't even have complaint section in any of your link or website. Now I know why Mcdo is way way ahead of you. Number one is the customer service. By the way, the store was in Haines City, Fl and store number is 9502.

Tonight at the Burger King drive thru, I ordered a rodeo burger, small fry, and small soda. The price: Close to seven dollars. When I verified the price at the window, I asked then just for the burger and some water. The manager, Ray, had a serious attitude b/c he had to adjust the register. He asked, "What, you can't afford to eat here?" I told him that I could, but not for that price. A heated exchange occurred. I would tell BK corporate, but they are too cheap to put forth a toll free number. Now I see online all these complaints against them, and will forever boycott them.

Can someone fix this Burger King, can I get fresh food out of a drive-thru or is that how you get rid of the food that has been sitting there all day. The Arby's next to this store went under because the employees were serving terrible food also. The same employees must have went next store and got a job with this burger king and don't care what kind of food they are serving. I like Burger King but I have to choose wisely which one I'm going to try to eat from. Pass this on to all Fast food restaurants, Don't serve ### out of the drive thru, It should be fresh food all the time

The day Cheri hired me she told me i would be getting paid $8.50 an hour. We didnt discuss the amount of hours i would be working. 3 wks later on my first paycheck i noticed that i was only being paid 7.25. I asked her why she responded "your part time", but every one else started at more than 7.25. I left town for a funeral that lasted a week. When i came back i told her we never discussed if i was gonna be part time or full time, why was she doing this? She responded "just be glad your getting something, take it or leave it!" i left it.

My husband and I stopped at this Burger King this morning .We noticed how very cold it was inside the restaurant and asked if the heat could be turned up It was 59 degrees inside. We were told the manager had the key and he was at home. We then ordered coffee and was told we would have to wait because they had not yet brewed any. This was at 8:00 in the morning. I asked for my money back and then went across the street to McDonald's and ate breakfast.

Don't believe I will be going back to this Burger King.

I purchase food for my daughter (5yrs old) and myself and later became very sick. I purchase the children meal (chicken, fries and an apple juice) and just a sandwich for myself (whopper with cheese). We were at the store located at 3036 Crenshaw in the city of Los Angeles, Ca.

After 30 min of eating the sandwich, I became sick to my stomach and began vomiting and unable to keep anything on my stomach within a 24 hour period. Later that evening, my daughter had the same reaction and she began vomiting in her sleep violently. It not only alarmed me, but it put her in a real panic, she began crying and it was coming out from both ends, I even had to keep her out of school the following day (4/6/11).

Today, 4/6/11, I contacted the store and spoke with Kevin (assistant manager), who reluctantly wanted to give me his name or the manager's name. After trying to explain the condition of both my daughter as well as myself, he stated “he had other things to do" and could no longer help me out. I tried to get the number to the cooperate office and he did not want to give it to me. He was very rude and his customer skills were unacceptable, being that I had gotten sick from food from that location. To top the whole unacceptable behavior from Kevin, he just put the phone down in the middle of my conversation and never came back. I stayed on the phone to see how long he would be and he later came back and just put the phone on the hook. This type of behavior is unacceptable and I don't feel that I should have been treated that way.

This kind of treatment from a person of management is unacceptable.

Yes, tonight I came into the Burger King after being out of state for ten days. I had stopped coming when this particular manager and employee were in the restaurant. The employee lied about borrowing a phone charger and it has been two months but he hasn't offered to pay for me a new one or explain why he lied to me several times and been avoiding me. I just don't like the attitudes of some of the Burger King employees. I used to eat three meals and pay $12.00 or more a day but after her attitude and his lies to me about my phone charger I stopped coming into restaurant. I missed the old managers but the rudeness got to stop plus am filing an official complaint with BBB and another agency tomorrow or Monday morning.

Please save or get new employees at this location including this manager at 6:57 pm tonight [protected]) was totally rude and unprofessional.

Saturday September 26th 2017 Today at around three thirty I went three blocks to Burger King to get food to watch the Penn State game on tv. I specifically asked that the Whopper and fries be hot, hot, hot. It was room temperature at best. I have had this happen repeatedly and I will not go back there.

When I have gotten food from the Lincoln Mall Burger King on Rt 15, the food has been delicious and the fries sizzled on my tongue.

I just had a knee replacement and this was the first time I drove my car to get a hot meal. I am very disappointed.

On Sunday, January 6, 2017, around 1 pm

we stopped at the Burger King on the corner of 17th and Alton Road, in Miami Beach, Fl. for 3 Junior Whoppers, dollar French fries and dollar ice.

The food was handed thru the window and the driver left in a hurry to with a appointment at Bal Harbor. There, when he needed change to pay the parking fee he realized he hadn't been given his change for a $20.00 bill at his stop at Burger King. I called the next day and explained the situation. The 'manager' who took the call was very pleasant and said, no problem, your $15.00 will be returned to you. Stop by and pick it up, I will leave it at my office.

Fast forward... eight, nine, ten managers later, different people, all the same message, will be left at the office and now it's MAY and there never has been a manager who knows can return the over-payment, it's always the same phrase, can you come back in xxx days? Someone will be here to help you.

What would I like? To have my MONEY RETURNED TO ME WITHOUT ANOTHER TRIP TO THE BURGER KING AT 17th and ALTON in MIAMI BEACH, FL.

Stopped at Burger King Easton Ave. Somerset New Jersey-Drive Through. Ordered mac and cheese, burger, drinks and the fries that were not in my previous order. No utensil in bag for mac&cheese. Long car line so I parked parallel to window and asked if she would send someone with a fork and I would meet them half way because I did not want to leave my daughter in the car. She wanted me to come up to the window between all the cars. I asked her again to please send someone. She laughed at me and had some of the other employees laughing at me. I was so angry and so upset that I fell in the parking lot returning to my car. Scraped knee, elbow and hand. Never to return to BK and will let others know about the rude treatment I received.

Burger King the restaurant was so dirty, I walked out

I recently went to the Burger King on Hwy 98 WEst in Pensacola, FL. The restaurant was so dirty I walked out. The floors and booths were disgusting and there were flies on the tables.

I attempted to call Burger King Corporate Headquarters to file a complaint but I was kept on hold for about 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. I would guess they were handling so many complaints they couldn't take mine.

I will never eat at a Burger King again. At least McDonald's is clean.

Actually whenever I'm feeling a little "stopped up" I deliberately suss out the filthiest BK I can find - one with bums working behind the counter and I order a whopper with heavy mayonnaise. Gobble that thing down and 6 hours later, "BOOM!" problem solved. The microbes that grow in the filthy mayo is what does the trick. I'm utterly sure of it. No other fast food can "move mountains" like a whopper with heavy mayo from a bona fide filthy BK. Thanks for the location.

Burger King cleanliness

I recently went inside a buger king to order. Normally I go thru the drive-thru. As I was standing in line, a nurse in front of me turned and said "I can't believe the person making the sandwiches is not wearing latex gloves". She left and so did i.
I called their corporate headquarters since their web-site does not accept e-mails.
I was told in florida, a person working in the kitchen is not required to wear gloves. They are told to wash their hands if they change jobs but gloves are not required. I said so the person putting lettuce and tomatoes on top of sandwiches with their hands is not required to wear latex gloves. The cs person said they are not in florida and any other states where state law does not require it.
Amazing

After ordering our food, the cashier went behind the counter to prepare our order. We could plainly see her put together the Whopper Jr. with her bare hands. She then came back around to the front of the counter to bag the order. She coughed onto the back of her bare hand and proceeded to place our food into the bag. I don't know how often she coughed on that hand BEFORE we ordered. Most of our order was pre-packaged so we were only slightly uncomfortable. I refused to accept the Whopper Jr. and only took what was pre-packaged. However, I wonder who touched or coughed on my salad! The store itself was filthy. We were on our way from Myrtle Beach, NC to Buffalo, NY and stopped at many places to eat during our trip. No where else did we see evidence of such filth. The bathroom was absolutly disgusting. I Googled Burger King to complain to the company, however, I could not find a way to do so. I hope that someone from the Burger King corporation visits this website. Better yet, they should visit the store in Summersville, WVA!

They were not very buisy they were playing in the back and having a good time and they need to be cleaning. this is the nastyest burger king I have ever been in in my life. I work for buger king and and yeah the people who make the food don't wear gloves how ever they are required to scrub their nails, wash their hands and use sanitizer. I'm a cashier and we are required to do the same stuff when we serve our customers.

Burger King false advertising

Outright blatant false advertising.

Large posters plastered on the exterior plate glass windows graphically displaying the new burger king xt steak burger. The inside graphic menu posters displaying the same xt steak burger.in all cases clearly displaying menu graphics with thick slices of tomatoes. I call this 'bait and switch'.

When I enquired why my xt did not have tomatoes I received a snide discourteous response, "can't you read the sign?" upon examination I saw the small red sign the clerk was pointing to in front of the cash register, "good tomatoes are hard to find". And in much smaller print to the affect "that is why we no longer put tomatoes on our sandwiches".

This smells of high heaven of last years stink when burger king refused to pay the pickers an extra one cent a pound, while the rest of the fast food chains had no problem. Now I guess the conclusion I make is that burger king refuses to pay the market price for tomatoes - funny how all the other fast food places have no problem with tomatoes on their sandwiches.

This people is blatant intentional false advertising. There are plenty of tomatoes on the market - in fact I bought five pounds of florida native ruskin tomatoes just this morning.

Have it my way - I wish I could. After the callous treatment by your employees I felt like throwing it in their face and demanding my money back. However, I am not an ingnoramous like some of the people you hire.

You sucked me in with the picture on the window; however, next time I will go to wendy's or macdonalds or elsewhere... And I will have it my way - not your cheapskate way. Pay the market price fool!

Or remove your false menu posters.

Burger King rude service w/o the smile but w / attitude

I experienced the rudest service ever in front of my two children at BK. The cashier was very rude, kept acting like we were slow to order and apologizing for us to the customers behind us. She also forgot to give us a child size cup, when I asked for it she snapped back at me, "I will get it in a minute." Just seemed to me way too rude. Afterward, while we were eating at our table, she proceded to clean off tables around us but glared at me as if she wanted to kick my A**. I don't know... it seems you just can't get good friendly service these days. I will not be going back to BK anytime soon, I do know that!

Burger King not using glove when servicing food

Visit Burger King during a visit to Redding CA. I went to BK to order a Veggie sandwich and noticed the food server was not using gloves to prepare food. He touch my food with his bare hands I report to the clerk immediately that the food server should be wearing gloves when working with food. The clerk stating yes he should be wearing gloves, but oh well. I was very upset and request food server not to touch food with bare hands.
I noticed even after receiving my order that gloves were not used to when servicing other customers.

Redding Burger King store # where this incident happened 1838 on March 26 at 10:36AM. I am request that Burger King management look into this problem ASAP and retrain the staff to wear gloves when working with food.

Burger King rude employees

on 03/23/10 @ 3pm pulled up to the drive-thru but had to stop short due to a young punk employer who seemed to be taking out the garbage, he rudely & disruptively stared at us & stood in the middle of the drive-thru just staring at us before he finally went on his way towards the bldng. not only did we waitthere for several minutes but we were not greeted at all. so we drove up to the window & had to order that way, & there again was this kid just staring at us then I heard him make a smart ### reply like oh she only parked 6ft away from the window, and this really upset me cuz he shouldve let the gal know who was taking orders that we obviously needed assistance, I then yelled at him that he was in the way. I feel very upset about the way they handled my order, and how this punk kid just stared very rudely like he knew us . It was Very UNCOMFORTABLE. I think he was a petafile or something. But anyways well not go to this store again until that petafile kid no longer works there anymore.

My mother in law took my kids to burger king for dinner. Later that evening when I went to pick them up, she was fuming and told me that the employees were rude to my kids. She then told me that someone wrote the word ‘annoying’ on my kids happy meal bag. When she saw this she waved at the people watching her in the back to acknowledge that she knew who did it. They then laughed at her and went back to work. After she told me I called the store and asked to talk to a manager. The manager basically called me and my mother in law liars. She said, and I quote, ‘we don’t write on the bags, you must be mistaken’.
Its one thing to attack me or my mother in law, we are adults and can hold our own, but when someone attacks a child I get pissed, especially since it was my child. I have loved burger king since I was a little kid, but that is the last time me or my kids will ever eat there again.

Are you old and stupid or young and a ###?
1) Kids cant be petafiles.. do you know what one of these are?
2) He was probably staring at you because you almost ran him over while trying to clean his workplace.
3) You dont yell back at someone when you have a complaint. he was wrong to make a smart remark. but as the propper person you should have gone to the manager and said something. not come online and make a little rant about how you will never eat there again.

Im sure if you go through hungry jacks in drive through, your the type of person to go back again.
eat up and get over it.

Burger King have it your way... but you'll pay double for it!

Stupidity prevails... on Tue Mar 23, 2010 I ordered three "double cheeseburgers" off of the dollar menu (store 16833), $1.00 each, right? Well of course, unless you don't want the cheese. In a meager effort to reduce my caloric consumption for the day I asked if they would please hold the cheese. The response was yes. What I didn't anticipate was the repercussion of the fact that I was now buying three "double hamburgers".

I got my hamburgers "made my way" but "charged their way". My $1.00 double cheeseburger was now a $2.00 double hamburger (another American business uniqueness, being able to pay more for less). Burger King is truly an all American business... tell the customer he can have it his way and then charge him double for doing so. I suggest if you too want a $1.00 hamburger, order the double cheeseburger, then peal off the warm gooey cheese and stick it on the pick up window. Have it your way!

I should also note that Burger King does not take online or email complaints (in this day?). No, you have to take time at work 9am - 5 pm M-F and call and wait on hold to register you complaint. I think it is time Burger King gives up the burger monarchy and maybe try listening to the people buying their food. This burger eater is going back to McDonald's. Believe it on not they get it right. But remember, there you're dealing with a silly clown rather than a mute (and weird scary) king.

This obviously is a very minor issue but I am so tired being patronized by American business from Wall Street banker to the burger joint on the corner. I am tired of being hosed in very aspect of my American life!
