#4 Chicken dinner
I was in line for 45 minutes to get one dinner. Sunday 11/27/2021. Approximately 5:15 when I pulled up. Maybe three cars ahead of me to order. After 15 minutes and one car ahead, this location you can't leave the line. I finally placed my order after another five minutes and the pickup window is three cars away. We did not move! After finally making it to the window, my food sat there in view for another 10 minutes. This is what made me so mad! It's now 5:58 when she handed it to me. Fried food is not good cold! No apology! Once again they were out of a item. Will never go back to this location. Downtown Birmingham, AL.

Messed my order up leaving out my shrimp skewers from the drive-thru.
I went back to get my shrimp got home and it wasn't skewers I got but fried shrimp i called them up again and they told me to return to the store to get the right shrimp. 3rd time? I don't think so. I want compensated for my gas. How does this happen?
Uncooked Shrimp Skewers, slow and poor service.
The shrimp skewer dinner is my favorite dish at the 5444 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL location. The last three times I purchased it to go the stick that holds them was burned on one end and more than half the shrimp on the other end of the stick were not cooked and seemed to have been just removed from the refrigerator.
When I got to the window after waiting more than 30 minutes in drive thru lane I made it to the window and had to wait another 7 minutes until a rude young man came to the window singing, he seemed to be the only person in the store and at 6:30 pm the doors were locked so all that was available was the window. My sides were incorrect and the shrimp was half cooked and stank like raw shrimp.
I will never eat at an establishment which has poor management and even worse employees.
Would not recommend this store to someone I don't like it was so bad.
Desired outcome: New management and competent employees.

Rude Service From Management, Long Wait Time For Cold Food, Cheated Me Out Of My Moneys Worth
Went to Captain D's on my lunch break in the city, waited in line for 35 minutes after placing the order. Got to the window and was handed a drink with no lid! Management glared at me the entire time while yelling at the cashier. Received my food which was a Giant fish sandwich combo. After I returned to work I saw they had broken 1 piece of fish in HALF and served it to me and it was ICE COLD. I work 10 mins away. I drove back to the restaurant and was denied a refund or remake from the manager calling me a liar and yelling! I felt like my money and time were wasted I had to go to settle for eating chips and soda from the vending machines at work.

The pieces of fish were exactly the same size and clearly broken pieces of fish were NOT WHOLE. AFTER being denied a refund, I had taken a bite in an attempt to at least try to eat it because I was hungry but it was cold and soggy.
Desired outcome: I feel that particular manager needs retaining or to be fired she was HORRIBLE and I would like my money back or food remade.

Hello yes my I went inside to order for a carry out. When I got home was order was wrong and almost all the items were cold. While trying to order the women was very rude. While she was taking my ordered to seem as she had an attitude with me. I asked her for cooperates number and she told me to look on the reicpt which I did not receive one .This took place on November 11th 2021. I would just like my ordered to get corrected or a free meal. Which I ordered the 10 piece fish meal and the seafood platter.

First I had two separate orders but since the store would not accept a hundred dollars bill. I paid for both orders with my credit card, my friend and I order two dinners a piece with added on items. Our orders was both wrong, never got any of the added on items. The employees where very disrespectful with attitudes, but the manager was calm. He thought he fixed our order, they wasn't. This was my first and last experience even though the food was wrong and it wasn't hot.
Food quality
Brown corn on the brown cob. It was something that I'm sure will be reported to the health department one day by a disgusted customer. If I hadn't gotten it to go, I would have not accepted the meal and demanded my money back. Threw the corn away.
After leaving the drive through, I had to walk inside, in the rain, to get the condiments I previously asked for and didn't get. Small shrimp for the price. Tiny piece of cheesecake. They had to grind up the strawberry in the strawberry topping to get it to fit in the tiny tiny cup. (Smaller than a ketchup cup). I'll not be eating there again. Meal cost me over $15. You'll not be getting ANY more of my money, EVER!
Desired outcome: It would be nice to see businesses actually trying to please the customer instead of trying to rip them off with very old food, small portions and ridiculously small toppings which cost .70cents.
Unethical Behavior
My husband and I were in Captain D's dining room tonight, enjoying our food and from the kitchen we heard employees screaming at each other "get your hands off of me!" multiple times. We then witnessed what seemed to be a manager grab the young girls arm or wrist. Everything went left from there. An off duty cop then rushes to the back to resolve the commotion. I've never witnessed such unethical behavior like this before. The commotion seemed to still go on and once it ended we did not receive an apology whatsoever, I am very disappointed in Captain D's. I'm not sure who the young girl nor the older women was. There were also no name tags. The older woman who seemed to be the manager was short with blonde hair and the young girl was tall with dirty blonde hair. Something needs to be done about this because tonight's employees were very unprofessional. I'm not sure if we would ever dine in again.
Captain D’s Chapman Hwy., at Young High Pike. Knoxville TN: I’ve experienced the following just recently: 1). They never have lemon wedges for fish & quite often are out of sour cream for baked potatoes; 2) I recently ordered the chicken & shrimp dinner at $6.59, I received chicken & 2 pieces of fish, no drink ordered & they charged me over $10.00. I asked if the 2 sides were included in the meal, to which they the rep replied Yes! 3) seems their is no concern if other items are added to your order or not— just hit or miss!
Service I received
I went to the Captain D's on I-55 in Jackson, MS today, Oct. 19, 2021. I ordered 3 senior meals. The manager yelled over the person who asked my order, "You have to have the seniors with you". I responded I have my dad (92), my mom (84) and myself (60). He then responds senior is 62. That was fine, but everywhere else senior citizen is 55 and up. I feel as though he was very disrespectful to me. I am not looking for any kind compensation. But, polite customer service is a must for me when visiting a restaurant. I probably will not go back to that restaurant again.
Desired outcome: Stress that all employees demonstrate courtesy when addressing customer.

Store 3625 The fish tasted like it was cooked in old grease. They were out of fries & Mac and Cheese. The tea was awful however the corn on the cobb was great. I have been eating here for a long time at least once a week and never had a problem but this was terrible. $17.78 worth of nothing I had to cook. 14 pc fish ml 8.99 corn on the cobb .49 mac & cheese .49 2 pc fish and & side 5.49 only got 1 pc of fish. baked potato .49

Guest experience
Today, I got out of my vehicle to a locked dining room door. I had 3 separate orders due to grabbing coworkers lunch, so I wanted to go inside to be less difficult. I was unable to do so, so I proceeded to the drive thru. Once I arrived, I notified them of my 3 separate orders. I was informed that even with the dining room closed and NO ONE in line behind me I would have to place only 2 orders and then go back around for my third one. I feel as though that is really stupid and unprofessional due to the again stated fact that they were not busy at all and the dining room is closed. With the drive thru being my only option I feel as though there should not be a limit on how many orders I request. I would like a returned phone call about this matter.

Customer Service and cooks
Very disappointed. My husband found a hair in his fries. I found a black small bug in my coleslaw. The whole staff was horrible. I waited on my food for over 15 minutes. They were visiting with a friend instead of taking care of me and other customers.
The young lady that took my order and money was rude and had an attitude. The young man that made our drinks rubbed his whole right arm and hand on his mouth, his hair was oily and down, not pulled back.
He touched our drinks WITHOUT washing his hands! If there's a security camera there this will be on there. I was in the drive-thru.
Management was involved and obviously not making sure the employees were working taking of customers.

Honestly, I was going to call the health department/codes dept on this situation.
However, I want to report it here to see if something will be done. I don't know honestly, if I will ever go back. If I do, it will be a long time. I have never had this experience there in the past. But to me this doesn't need to be over looked.
I wish I had taken pictures of the food with hair and a bug in it. At the time that wasn't on my mind. I was busy trying not to vomit. I had taken 3 bites of my food. Couldn't finish.

the so called seafood gumbo
I ordered a large gumbo through drive thru took back to my office opened it smelled great started eating opened crakers all was stail gumbo had three tiny shrimp and two small peices of chicken and that was it. I ordered a 3pc fish meal with broccoli and macaroni and cheese on 9/22/2021 @ 17.09 pm at Marianna, Florida... And when I opened it... I noticed that the broccoli was dried up and cold and my macaroni and cheese was clumpy and dried up and my fish was so hard that I couldn't eat it... It was dried up and cold and was hard as a rock... It was very poorly...

I would like to know why Captain D's by my house never has on its outside lights at night. I have driven there numerous times around 8:30 p.m. and never are the lights on outside. The drive-thru menu lights are always off as well. This location doesn't close until 10:00 p.m.
God forbid someone gets hit or hit someone's car. And when that happens it will be a big issue for you guys. It's freaking ridiculous!
Desired outcome: Tell whoever is in charge of this store to turn the freaking outside lights on at night!
Incomplete order
I looked up my local captainds on line, because I wanted to see their menu before I drove to the restaurant. I chose to get the supreme platter. Went to drive thru, placed my order and when I got home, my order did not include the shrimp skewer. I'm not driving back as late as it is, so you get a complaint. My order was #0195 on 9/19/21 @ 7:42pm.

On 09/16/21 I purchased 4 piece batter dip from Captain Ds Mableton, GA.
I asked for 4 butters, 2 sour creams, and 2 tarter sauces. When I got home I looked at the fish and it smelled and looked awful. The fish had very little batter on it, and even though it was done had no crunch to it, was not brown but lightly coated and fried and no little chips in the bottom of the fish.
Also, on the condiments he put in the bag not what I asked for. He gave me 2 butters and 3 tarters. I can live w/that but I want money back on the fish. When I went thru the line I asked him how did he get fish so quick but he didn't answer that. I surmize it had been sitting there for awhile since I was the only customer at that time.

Slow service
I was stuck in a Drive-Thru line for the better part of 30 minutes I'm not sure why, my location is Jonesboro Arkansas. It appears that one of the customers is holding up the line even though they already have their food I don't know if they're arguing or something. I'm not entirely sure why the surface is taking so long but if I had known that it would have been like this I would not have come out.

Rude customer service
To whom it may concern, i visited Captain Ds restaurant Aug 26, 2021, and the person at the drive through window was very rude she started yelling back at me rushing me to take my order and when i got to the window she acted in a unprofessional manner, why should I spend my money on a place like this that has poor customer service. The restaurant is located on the border of Norfolk and Virginia beach.

Yesterday sunday 8/15/2021 at your savannah hwy location in charleston sc it was drive thru only. I wanted to order a pint of cole slaw. After waitng for 25 mins. I got to the window &got my slaw. I would have pulled out of line but there is no way to do it. I love your cole slaw. I also frequent you store for dinners & such. Please fix this problem before you loose a good customer.
