Captain D's I would like to suggest that employees get more training on menu items

On [protected], we stopped at 365066 store in Elberton, Ga. Order #0082 at 1:10pm, we ordered their special on the sign with shrimp and fish for $6.99, first time Kayla rung up our order she over charged us, 2nd time she rung us up she said it is only 1 side and no drink, with the sign clearly explaining just the opposite of what she told us... Kayla was rude and unprofessional and kept putting our order in wrong and refused us our drink cups. There was an elderly black lady cleaning tables and she could hear what was happening, she walked up and got our cups and she was extremely helpful, I think her name was Linda maybe. We told Kayla they should change the sign if it was no longer being offered as we were guest #023, and others had just ordered that special prior to us. This incident has really made my husband hesitate to ever stop at Captain D's again in the future, she finally gave us water cups to obtain drinks from and glared at us the whole time eating in the restaurant. My husband was so irritated and took a picture of the large sign offering the special with drink and she could clearly read it from her cash register.

Desired outcome: and learn how to talk to guest and not be so rude, maybe a free dinner for two .

Captain D's Food I ordered and disrespectful attitude.

April 13, 2022 approximately 12:10pm. I came into Capital D's to order off the senior menu. I ordered a 2 piece fish with fries and cold slaw and an extra shrimp for $1.99 (?), About 5 minutes later I order another senior meal with extra chicken. It took them about 45 minutes to give me my order (I left out of Captain D's about 1pm). The young lady who waited on me was very pleasant even through it too so long. I came into the restaurant with my 7 year old who was diabetic and his blood sugar was dropping fast because we were waiting so long. I asked her how much longer (at that time it had been about 35 minutes). When I finally got my order, I left the store (didn't check to see whether I got what I paid for). When I got home about 20 minutes later, I noticed that she had given me the wrong order. I got the 2 piece fish but it was with fried Okra (?) and green beans. The extra shrimp was not in the bag. I call the store and was asked about the receipt and I told her that I didn't have it. I was not rude to the young lady. All I told her was that she had given me the wrong order. Yes, I got the fish (although not the same size, one was much smaller) but I didn't get the sides that I order nor the 5 piece extra shrimp I paid for. She asked me to look again for the receipt and call back. When I still couldn't find it, I called back and the phone rang many, many times (does the store have caller ID?) and eventually the "phone" or someone hung up. I called back immediately (thinking I must have gotten disconnected) and it just rang again for many, many times (did they see the number, and decide not to pick up the phone?). I gave it another 30 minutes and called back and again it just rang and no one had the decently to answer. I come in there all the time, and this is the very first time this has happened. I'm writing this complaint because I believe it was disrespectful that your employees saw my phone number on the caller ID and deliberately chose to ignore it. The manager was there (busy, I understand) but did she also decide this customer wasn't worth her time? They could have at least answered the phone and said "too bad" if you don't have the receipt. Just don't ignore your customers' calls. This sets a bad taste for your company. I figured corporate will not address this, just blow it off like your employees.

Desired outcome: I would like to know exactly how I should have handled this and I would like an apology. You need to train your employees better.

Captain D's Product = batter dipped fish fillets

It's been a while since I went to Capn D's. It is a treat since I normally don't eat carbs. But this time my batter dipped fish fillets were DEFINITELY not fillets. They did not taste the usual "AWESOME" either. When I broke one open it didn't look exactly minced. More like pieces pressed together. So sad - I have crossed them off my list of placed I will go to. All I bought was a big order of fish. Spent almost $25 for very sub-par product

Desired outcome: confirmation of product change and when they will go back to fillet if ever

Captain Ds serves raw fish breading not done as well. I’m not the only one here at the Anderson IN STORE 402 that has this happen to. Manger said that’s just the way there new fish is and then said its cooked on a timer and it is done. As if he is calling me a liar? And refused to do ANYTHING AT ALL. As I pulled out of my driveway, I called an order to go. My call was answered quickly, She told someone else there was a call in. The phone was laid down, cause I heard talking, laugher, things being moved around, orders being taken etc...17 mins 29 sec (time from my phone) I made it to the drive thru.

I gave my order, then told her that I was on phone trying to do a call in for the last 17 mins, but I'm here now so you can hang up the phone. She repeated my order back to me. yes, that's correct, did you heard what I said about the phone? Pull around please. Got to the window, she took my card. Again, I asked... did you heard what I said about the phone? She told me to pull up & we'll bring your order to you. Dang! My phone order was forgotten about, At least apologize, customer service is a must now days. I understand being shorthanded. They lost this customer.

Captain D's Drive through and service

In the drive through at the Russellville Alabama 35654 location 20 minutes. Then we got to the speaker to give our order. We sat there about 30 minutes and was told 2 times to wait just a moment. After 5 cars behind us left we decided we would just go in maybe the speaker was broken. SeverL cars ordered in front of us. When we pulled around no one was in line and the girl working the drive thru was leaned up against the window doing NOTHING. When I went in there was 1 person ordering at the counter. ONE! There was 2 people working rhe front ans 2-3 in the back. It was extremely frustrating and aggravating.

Captain D's It would be product and service

On 2/25/2022 between the hours of 3 to 5pm my parents stopped at the Captain D's in their home town of Lebanon Ky and ordered a 2 piece fish dinner for my grandson and four pieces fish and 2 shrimp skewers. When they got home they had 2 pieces of fish broken in half to make four pieces. I have never seen this at any restaurant and this meant that their order was short. My parents are 80 and drove right home so they didn't check it till then. They live 10 miles out of town so they was not going to drive all the way back to town with gas over $3.50 a gallon.

Desired outcome: She wanted to report it so it maybe won't happen again. Can't ask for refund because she lost the ticket but maybe a coupon. They love fish and with prices the way they are now. She just hopes that this was a one time thing

Captain D's customer service

2/23/2022 Sebring Fl.

Ordered 3 meals with extra tarttar sauce. Requested 8 total. Waited 10 minutes for order. Asked for tartar again at window. had to pull over and wait. Employee brought order out. Asked if extra tartar sauce was in there. Was assured it was. After I drove 25 min home found out that not only did I not get my requested extra sauces. I DID NOT GET ANY! PERIOD! wE DO NOT LIKE FISH WITHOUT TARTTAR SAUCE.

Captain D's No Service

I came to the Merchant Drive location in Knoxville, Tn last night around 8:10pm. The sign out front was turned off but the drive thru light and inside lights were on. I sat in the drive thru for about 5 minutes and no one said anything so I said hello? I sat for another 5 minutes and said hello again with no response. I finally pulled around to the window where I see a girl mopping with her headset on but never acknowledged me. The store doesn't close until 9pm so it was confusing that I sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes trying to order food and was never acknowledged nor when I came by the window.

Captain D's Rudeness, ignoring my request

I never call/complain but I've had it. I ordered again via Uber, from Airport hwy locale &I called, like I normal & asked crackling. I spoke/Jaclyn Correll. So rude. I always call because crackling is not on the menu, I mention that every time. A few times I don't get them & honestly, when I don't, it is a complete waste of money. I literally eat them with every bite of my chicken. She was so rude, I knew right away she was not going to add them, it was too much trouble, I should have just cancelled my order. When I asked for them, she' said I'll see what I can do like it was too much trouble. Tonight's order will not be eaten, I am disabled & money is precious. Either stop offering them, add them to the online menu or tell people to give them when requested. What is the big deal? That's how I like my food. Why act like it's the biggest inconvenience in the world? So disappointed.

Desired outcome: I would like reimbursement for my food. It was the better of 26 bucks. Better still, tell employees, it's free, it's not coming out of their check & give th when requested instead if acting like I've requested access to Fort Knox.

Captain D's 4-piece fish with 2 sides

I ordered the four pieces with two sides. The store is 3501, located on Lebanon rd. Donelson, Tn 37214. I live 30 mins from Donelson. When I arrived home, I ate one of the fish and turned over the others and notice this brown stuff all over the fish, I don't know if it was dropped, or the grease was never changed. It took me a 1/2 hour to drive home and another 1/2 hour to drive back to Captain D's to be told I couldn't get reimburse, instead I could get another meal. I had lost my appetite and the idea of eating after what I saw wasn't appealing.

Desired outcome: Please refund, I gave my money in good faith and expect the same.

On Monday, Feb. 7 I went through the drive thur. First, I waited a long time to get my food. Second when I got home I discovered that the fish was raw and the corn was burned. In addition, I didn't recieve all of my order so I had to go back through the drive thur to get it. One of the cole slaw containers was damaged and part of the styrofoam was in the cole slaw.
