customer service
i basically went thru the drive thru and waited about 5 minutes and no one never said anything! so we drove around to the window, and the girl just look and walked away and there wasn't but about 3 customers inside so we drove back around and no one still acknowledged us so we pull up to the window and the young lady looked at us put her hands in her pocket and walked away! so i called inside and asked to speayy directly to her manager and she kept saying i can't hear you if you couldn't hear me why where you saying something each time i mentioned speaking to a manager so she hung up and i called back only to be hung up on again so i called a3rd time and the manager answered and said i believe everything you said because i saw her answering the phone and kept hanging it up! Her name was Betty James i will NEVER patronize that establishment again and i'm going to do everything in my power to make sure my family nor friends ever go back there again ! but i have to give that manager credit she handled the situation very professionally as to saying she would write her up and pass it on to her immediately supervisor

Employee coming to work high taking from register's. Taking food Shaun not sure the last name he is a manager writes ppl up for not staying over or for getting hurt. Hangs up on ppl. Yells at employees in front of customers. Knows the employees are high but likes the girl's. Knows about the drug deals. I turned him in twice for not giving 10 min breaks. One more time he gets investigated and $700 fine. Which I'm about to turn him in again but he is giving the breaks right now he will for a few days then stop. If one gets hurt he writes them up does not send them home or to the Dr. One Dr told employee to find a different job. This place is a mess. Lent ppl take serious do they know that the Grease is not being changed during Lent. Employee are so high they yell and fight in front of customers on Shaun's shift. Tony would fire them. Tony is kept in the dark. Drug test would solve a lot of problems and letting go of that awful childish pedifile manager Shaun the girls get what they want men get yelled at and worked to death and have to listen even to the new girls. What's going on here who's really in charge?

Hello. My name is Regina Fletcher.!I am in Searcy Arkansas. I went through the drive thru a few hours ago and I have coupons for a fish meal and a coupon for fish and chicken. I used those. I also had a coupon for a free funnel cake. I was told I could not use it and I'm sure it's because I was already using two other coupons and that's fine. I get to the window and the guy said that I could buy one and get one free. I agreed to that. Well once I got home I realized they charged me for both funnel cakes and on top of that, the funnel cakes were not in the bag! I live enough away from the store that I was not going to go back up there tonight. I have tried calling them probably 30 times and all I am getting is a busy tone. accident in store
On Monday, February 12, 2018 we went into the Captain D's located in Americus, Georgia. As soon as my granddaughter stepped in, she slipped and fell on the slippery floor. At the front door there was no "wet floor" sign there, also in the area where the drinks are served there was a puddle on the floor of melted ice, when one of the customers complained, they put out a wet floor sign. the floor was extra slippery and greasy. My granddaughter fell flat on her back, she stated she was okay, and hopefully nothing will occur because of that fall. Just wanted your company to know. The people on the front register asked was she okay. I had to ask for the manager to make sure she was aware of what had happened. She asked was she okay and walked off.

To start I would like to say that I am pregnant and my current cravings involve scrimp...Now to start the complaint;
I pull up to the drive thru and waited quit a bit of time for anyone to come to the speaker. Finally ordered and was argued that the "white fish, 4pc shrimp, and crab" meal was not on the menu, so I read it off with the price ($7.49). I ordered 2, one for myself, another for my husband. I get to the window, greeted with a new level of attitude by a young black female, then asked to pull into a parking spot. Waited well over 10 minutes for her to bring out my food. Meanwhile the cook brought out boxes of food and a gallon of tea to a random ford suv that pulled in (not the drivethru) just in a parking spot beside me. She finally brings my food slinging it through the window and walks off. I open it to find, NO SHRIMP, and NO hushpuppies! I go back around to the window and she refuses to open. I go park and get out, and was locked out of the facility. This place closes at 10p, and by this time it was 9:45p. I knock, she looks, rolls her eyes, and walks o the back! I call the store and no one answers. I get back into the car and pull back to the drive thru speaker, sat that for 10 minutes, nothing! I pull back to the window and no one is in sight. Needless to say I was furious! Every single visit to this location is the same, long waits, rude service, wrong orders, and no resolution. This by far was the worst! I just cant believe there wasnt a manager on duty or if this female was a manager then Captain D's can go ahead and shut down in this location! The only other associate ever spotted besides said female was a male who looked like he was a janitor, but Im afraid he was the cook. I do not want anything out of this, if I didnt have money for food I wouldnt have went. My only purpose is so that corporate can see the level of people that are being hired to run these locations. I know the turn over is high at this place, as I have NEVER seen the same person twice. But I can guarantee that Captain D's has permanently lost my business!

Now y'all fish use to a nice side fillet, but every time I go there it get smaller and smaller and the price go higher and higher. now y'all calling them strips. Don't y'all think it would be nice to at least give the costumers food for there money. I LOVE the old Captain D back in the days. when you got full for the food you order and you didn't mind paying for it. Sometime it pay to stay the same, because people hope to go out to eat and find the food at their favorite place tasting and looking the same as it use to be. Y'all might be making more money, but the quality has gone down and I LOVE me some CAPTAIN D
employees have nasty attitudes and are lazy
Nasty, inconsiderate, unprofessional most absent - minded employees working on the front counter at captain d's at the newnan location. When you walk into that store you are so overwhelmed by the smell of weed and all those rude [censor] employees that work your front counter. What makes matters worse is your manager monica encourages the employees to act this way. They thank that they can talk to me any way that want. Well you picked the right one. You need to do something about it now this is the 4th time i've had to complain. Fix this problem
two 2 piece fish dinners one with corn, 4 kids meals
I went to the captain D's on 165 south in Monroe La they gave me some old greasy fish my nothing of my order was right and there service was horrible the manager had a nasty attitude as well they made me never ever want to eat at another Captain D's restaurant ever again . I really want to sue captain D's I could have gotten sick off that food as well as my pregnant sister and my kids. This makes the second time that my order was either not correct or i didnt receive my complete order. I ordered through the drive thru two fish piece meals and a funnel cake for a desert. After i got my order i asked if i received everything and the lady told me yes. So i drove off and when i got home, I didn't have my funnel cake, nor did i have any hush puppies in either of my dinners. i called the lady back and she said she forgot to put them in my bag. She told me to drive back up to get the rest of my order. WHAT! i told her i already ate my dinner and basically VERY disappointed in Captain D's. manager hung the phone up on me
I was in your store on Dixie Hwy in Louisville Ky. I called because my rice was hard. The manager said it couldn't be because they always check the meals and allow the customer to check as well. I wasn't asked to check the meal. After I made my comment he hung the phone up on me. I have not been back since. It is sad when a manager decides to hang up on a customer because he can't handle a complaint!
the food
I ordered the sampler. Everything was stale, breadstick was hard. I didn't eat it. No one should ever serve anybody food that's not fresh. I haven't eaten all day. And I picked Captain D's to satisfy my hunger just to be disappointed. I went to bed hungry and upset. I have attached the food for you to judge and see if you would eat this. I want a refund or a fresh order made.
the way I was treated by the cook/manager
On 01/10/2018 I entered your restaurant located on Buenavista Rd, Columbus Ga. at 5:00PM EST, to make good on an order that was incomplete on 12/38/2017. The young lady at the counter was very nice and respectful. She informed the cook/ manager that I was there to make good on an order that was incomplete on 12/28/2017. The receipt was kind of hard to read due to the needing to be replaced at the time of the original purchase. The manager stated in a very degrading tone that this receipt is not our store. He then tossed the receipt into the garbage. I looked at him in disbelief and then ask if he knew which store it was from. He then retreaved it from the garbage and looked at it close and said that it was from the Macon Rd store in Columbus GA. The reason I went to Captain D's on Buenavista Rd is because that was where I thought my daughter picked the order up from on 12/28/2017. The cashier then returned the receipt to me after he through it to her. I did call the Macon Rd store and they did conferm have my name on their book for an incorrect order. At the time I was so upset and decided that it was not that important after being treated like that. I am a retired manager after 31 years from a major company her in Columbus GA, and I have been nor sent any of my team members to training that would validate the way this youn man acted today. It was so bad that I was embarrassed for him due to other customers being present.
my meal was horror and disguises
I went to captain d on 1/07/18 and order #0165 carry out. The waiter name was Palarius. I order a chicken meal with okra and fries also a 6 free pups. My okra was not done the fries was not cook they was soft and chicken was hard and the pups was burn. The meal was very awful. I received a birthday coupon for a choice of 2 meals, when I tried to chose one of the meals at the only Captain D's in my area, 725 N Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23320. They refuse to accept the coupon. What good is it to send the free birthday coupon if you can't use it. verbal abuse & abuse of power
I worked at Captain D's owned by Nstars a Franchise owner. It's located in Surfside South Carolina. Scott Smith and Natasha Smith are the owners and general Managers at that store. They are rude, they yell at staff they show favoritism and they fire anyone that makes the smallest mistake. Scott Smith is a liar and a real [censor]. Scott Smith curses at staff and he changes schedule and dont call and tell you. He wants you to work a lot of over time when he needs you to but cuts our time when he wants to. Scott Smith is a bad leader and don't know how to run a store. They don't even speak to you some days, they just walk right by you.
3pcs meal
Captain D's is one of my favorite restaurants. I went to the drive thru and purchased a 3pcs fish cooked country style. The meal in which I received was enough fish tin make one full sized peice of fish. So I returned back to establishment to see if I could get some bigger size pieces of fish. The cashier at the window took my plate back and said ok. Then a male cashier came behind her explaining to me that the fish comes cut small so there would be no way for me to get bigger pieces. I say ok well I would like a refund then. I sat at the window for about five minutes for them to issue me a refund, meanwhile not once did the manager come to the the entire time I sat there. This is not the first problem that I have had with this location and needless to say I will not return to this location ever again. I always have a problem whenever I patronize this locations whether is my order being incorrect or the customer service.

My fiancé worked at captain d's in surfside on 17 south bypass store # 364306. It's near that steak n shake and dennys. My fiancée was there from the the grand opening and then became a manager then a assistant general manager. The whole time the owner scott smith was always talking crap about his in laws the reel owners cause he is just a puppet and has little power. The little power he have he be making racist comments about the black staff and he was always making sexual comments to my fiancée. Like dude was hella bold and would grab her butt and promise her she going all the way to the top. His wife tasha she don't do nothing but complain and be rude to staff and support scott when he treat the staff wrong. I heard scott was making sexual moves on other staff also. The owners fired my fiancée but let a sexual predator like scott still run there business. We thinking about filing sexual harassment lawsuit against scott smith. Dude is a pervert. We are a family-owned business that owns & operates the Myrtle Beach, (Surfside), Captain D's seafood restaurant as a franchisee of Captain D's.
We care about our employees and would never tolerate the type of behavior alleged by Mr. Trainor in his complaint. We talk with our employees on a regular basis and have not received any similar complaints from any of our other employees. We terminated the employment of Mr. Trainor's fiance for reasons we will not discuss here. Only after that termination, did we hear about her allegations and, then, only through this website. Her allegations have no basis in fact and, if necessary, we will resolve them in the appropriate forum.
I lost my job
I lost my job the gm Nick Perry fired me but didn't tell me I had to hear threw other guest specialist I have worked for captain D's since 2014 and I have never had a gm that is disrespectful and Nick Perry I just don't see how he is still employed he treat his crew like prisoner s talk any way and I work with pride for captain D's to get fired right before Christmas and I feel this is not right something need to be done I will keep pushing this untill something happen I can be reached at my email [protected]@gmail.com thank you.
managers and employees drinking alcohol on the job
Keywanda Weaver and Ruben are both managers at Captain D's and both are allowing the employees to drink alcohol while working this location is Covington Ga Hwy 278 but in this Video this is Keywanda Weaver a nite manager drinking a alcoholic beverage this has been ongoing I know this because I was an employee. I bought the drinks and gave to the manager and employees

We stopped at Captain D's in Saint Albans West Virginia. As soon as we entered the store there was a lady in the kitchen, turned out to be the manager and we were trying to be nice and kid around with her and she gave us a horrible look and again mid mid meal when we ask the question about our food she was very Kurt and rude of her comment. Her name was Tina. Other people who were eating in there overheard our conversation and made the comment that she is always like that . We love Captain D's but I will not go back to that store again . Uncalled for.
