My wife and I go on Wednesdays frequently for the senior meals. Today, Novemer 1, 2017 and also three weeks ago, the lady at the cash register, not the same person each time, was unfriendly and both times acted like we interrupted her when we walked up to the counter. Today as we were seated and eating I watched her slouching and leaning with her elbows on the cash register as she was taking a couple's order.
Thanks for allowing me to complain, however thought you may want to know that some of your employees require training in the basics of customer service and presenting a professional manner.

4 piece fish /shrimp
I went to captain dees today . In my hometown in Jefferson City Missouri after church. I got the 4 piece fish dinner and 6 piece shrimp. After driving off the lot, I took one bite into the shrimp and instantly lost my taste buds . Not only was it burnt it was extremely over cooked . Normally I wouldn't complain but in this situation I was disgusted . Went I drive back up to the window I proceeded to tell the cashier the issue and she said that we can remake them but they will be the same way because they are on a timer . I instantly knew that was a lie every day after church like clock work I go to captain feed and order the same thing and the fries are never cold, the shrimp is never burnt, and the macaroni never tasted horrible. When I proceeded to ask for a refund the woman said well we would have to swipe your card twice and it will charge you again . I explain to the woman I didn't have enough in my account and she would over draft my account so what other options do we have ? I asked about giving me cash back ? A gift card ? Every thing the answer is no ! I have never been treated so rudely in my life . So I guess I just threw my 13.50 down the drain with with no refund and no solution. My first thought was to go to long johns silver but I decided not to because captain dees have never failed me until now .i drove off without my money and no solution other than to over draft my account . I will never go back to captain dees and all my family goes there on a regular and they won't be back either after this incident. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer concern and service I was provided today .
2 piece fish dinner
I went to Captain D's 7916 Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville, Fla 32211 last night 10-27-2017 around 7:30-8:00pm.I used a coupon for a 2 piece fish dinner for $4.99.I ordered my fish cooked country extra crispy fish with corn on the cob and French fries, the fries extra crispy also.I got home and the fish wasn't crispy at all It was so soggy and didn't even look like it was cooked.My French fries weren't crispy They were soggy too even the hush puppies were soggy.The only thing good was the corn on the cob.The food was unacceptable.

Every time that I eat at captain d's, I always call my order in first so that the service would be just a little faster. After doing this for about the 10th time, it doesn't matter if I call the order in 1 hour before or 10 min before. Every single time that I call an order in, we end up waiting for at least 15 min while other customers come in, order food and leave. There is always an excuse. This time (tonight) it was the "kitchens" fault. I find that hard to believe when I specifically told them what I wanted. Not hard! 2 orders of 2 fish 2 chkn meals and a meal of 1 fish 1 chkn. All 3 w/sides. Not hard! I have done this! It's not very professional for a worker to blame the kitchen by the way. That's the same thing that I have been told every time I pre-order! Either jonesborough tn needs a whole new makeover of workers or they need extra training. Just ridiculous! Capt. D's isn't cheap and we love the food (when it's actually right) but my god! This is every time that I pre-order! And no, I didn't say anything because I prefer not to have my food tampered with. I know this happens. Not in this store hopefully but that's the reason I am sending an email. After so many times wanting to eat here, this will probably be the last time. The workers, including mgrs, obviously don't have their stuff together. Just ridiculous.

You seriously need to get rid of the manager at the Wadesboro NC store. Everyone in the place can hear him cussing at his workers. He is hateful to them and do fake friendly to the customers. Mine and several more families at our church will not be going there as long as Greg I'd there. He is in the wrong business. No employee should have to be treated like that trying to earn s living. Most if them are young. He's going to go off on the wrong person one day. Please get us s NiCE manager.
the drive thru and my order was messed up.
First of all, the drive thru line was very long and when I finally placed my order for the fish tenders, I asked how many pieces come with it and they started 4. When I got my order, there was one big piece of fish and it didn't look well done and neither did my friend so I had to get back in that long line because that was unacceptable. After waiting again, she stated that I couldn't exchange for the batter dipped fish and took my plate and didn't change the plate or fries but instead they put three very small fish tenders on it. I was very upset.

Some people evidently have never worked in fast food nor with the public. I can't believe some of the stuff I have read on here. I love trying to make people happy, but you are not going to get anywhere being ugly. We can only do what the company will allow us to do. So you can stop putting complaints up here day after day when it was 6 days ago you eat there.
poor food quality / take out / drive thru
My wife recently visited Captain D’s 1204 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. When my wife got home, there was wilted-salad lettuce, rubber fries and hot coleslaw. My wife said she has never had a piece of white fish that was this greasy, mushy and smelly (strong fish odor). It was very disappointing. The Mgr. Amanda told my wife to bring in the receipt. It is approx. 20 miles round trip to that store from Home. We then drove it a second time to bring back the receipt to resolve the issue. We were under the impression that she would be refunded. Amanda’s said in an email that she wanted to sit down and talk about he experience and how she could make it right. We went in today to bring back the receipt and Amanda took the receipt and said “whenever you come back we will make it right for you?” Come back? Seriously? Now we have invested 40 miles round trip plus the cost of a family meal for extremely poor quality food! As my wife was walking out of her the store today after returning the receipt, one of the workers made a comment that my wife felt was directed at her, “was that her, is that what this was all about?” When my wife got back in the car and we left, I asked did she give you the money back. My wife said no. I said, what did she do for you, and the answer was that Amanda said she would make it right the next time we came back. Really, another 20 mile round trip to take a risk on food quality. That would be x 3 trips to that store / 60 miles total driving distance and a total waste of the initial investment for food from the first trip. I called Amanda back shortly after my wife left the store to ask if we could come back in for a refund and she said that she couldn’t do that because she would have to submit it to corporate. I said what about the coupons, she also stated she would have to submit that as well! Amanda never talked to my wife about her experience when she came in nor did she give her coupons like she suggested she would do. You can keep the coupons, I want my money back. This store is poorly managed or these things wouldn’t happen! I will also be posting our experience on Trip Advisor! Sorry, but we won’t be back, trust me!

I was in captain d's drive thru for 20 mins ordered white fish with crab, extra shrimp with the two sides, my fries were warm and very warm ..didn't like the shrimp (that's a personal problem) broccoli was extremely hard, cashier told me she was only able to give me 3 condiments smh . For ALL this food . Could someone give me a call back [protected] I should of turned around and got my money back, but i could barely see on the road due to the hard rain.. still haven't ate the meal here's a pic
filthy restaurant
Visited a franchise in Ashland, Kentucky this afternoon. Booths/tables greasy. Windows and window ledges dirty. Floor sticky/greasy. Condiments spilled at station. 2 managers doing interviews in the back corner for the 30 min. I was there. Obviously, a complete lack of management and a disregard to cleanliness. Just gross.
It's a shame, because I've always enjoyed the food. Makes me concerned what the kitchen must look like.

HORRIBLE STORE. The manager is VERY unprofessional and needs training. Fussed at an employee who did nothing wrong right in front of customers and had all employees stop to listen to him!
And Captain D's all over the country clearly needs to be SHUT DOWN or refurbished. All managers fired and replaced with new management and employees who know how to work efficiently and diligently!
terrible customer service and a don't care attitude
I visited the Captain D’s in Americus, Ga and was treated with the utmost disrespect.. after I placed my order I waited at least 20 mins inside, during which time there were at least 4 customer who ordered and received their orders. Upon my request for a status I was informed it was not sent back to prepare and there was nothing they could do...so I asked for the manager, the cashier avoided getting her until I had to stand in front of the register. The manager on duty was less than concerned about the whole issue, she just said “Do you want your money back?” Totally unacceptable! I am a business owner and to see this type of service is infuriating. Just thought you need to know the caliber of your employees.

After seeing the mouthwatering commercials on our local tv stations, I decided to drive across town to our local Captain D’s for the lobster rolls.. after my 20 minute drive I get to the drive thru and there was no menu selection showing the lobster items as seen on tv. When asked for my order, I explained that I was looking for the lobster rolls. The girl informed me that they didn’t have those items, only the lobster bites but they were included in a fish and shrimp combo meal... ugh!
Might I suggest if your not going to carry the items advertised in the whole marketing area, DON’T ADVERTISE IT AT ALL

On September 26th around 6:40 pm I visited the store on 1487 Church St
Decatur Georgia 30030. I can understand the store being short staffed but this was a bit much. One cashier covering Drive thru and the lobby. She complain my entire 30 minute wait for a 2 piece meal. I was the only one standing at the cash register she never made eye contact for a full 10 mins. This by far was my worst experience at captain D's

I was in drive thru thirty minutes with two cars in front of me both cars complaining about how long it has taken.so I called while still sitting in drive thru an ask to talk to manager.as she got on phone she was very rude.i then ask for my meal free.as I got to window ten minutes later.arial who said she was manager.was very disrespectful an had attitude.as she gave me my meal an slammed the window.i then had to blow my horn because they didn't give me my drink.i felt at my time of my visit with Captain D's I was very rude to an not treated like a customer should have been treated.i have been an employee at Captain D's in Monroe before an I have never been disrespectful to a customer.im very unhappy with my experience with the store manager an customer service I got an I will let others know how try restaurant treated me so they won't be treated the same.thanks Christy ramey

I asked one of the employees at Captain D's on Elvis Presley about one of the $4.99 full meal deals. I also asked could I have Southern Style fish substituted for the battered fish. I was told they were not able to substitute any of the meals. I chose not to order there because I've switched orders around at multiple places and it was never an issue.

When this location first opened food was fresh and portions was reasonable. Now fries are cold and okra pieced together given out as 2 pieces. Entire staff has changed and they only look out for theirs. It's ok to spend your money but don't complain cause the employees will lie and say you are rude just because you don't want your okra tied together in a grease piece. The area director is a joke and a lie I have video to prove this. Area director told me to never return and I wasn't welcomed to his restaurant because I was rude but then said I could come back if I wanted to. I'm confused because if I showed out that bad and made a scene I wouldn't go back on my word. No you got upset cause I said I would go over you to get my issue resolved. Still waiting on a call back from corporate cause the area director (Jess) only wants to be argumentative and not resolve the issue. I have yet to hear what could I have done to make your experience better and a nice apology for the misunderstanding. Instead I'm getting the trump affect blame blame blame. My voice will be heard and I will not let this go. It's 2017 not 1967 and I will not be lied on or singled out. There are two sides to every story and trust me I wouldn't go through the trouble to write this review but I want people to know how this location operates. I never in my life have been talked to by a man they way Jess Dumas talked to me. If he has a wife or daughter I hope karma doesn't come around and a man talks to his loved ones like he talked to me. Cause they may not be strong enough to handle what I had to endure. I will never return to this location and if they keep up this behavior they will not be in business for long.

I been working at Captain D's for almost 2 years and don't understand why I only get 10 hrs a week others get more even the lady that preps she has not been there longer than me even the new hire I cook and all the other cooks get way more hrs than me it is totally different than we had Kisha I think it is very unfair I feel as if its a about race its just 5 Black and the rest is White and I don't feel ad if I am being treated fairly and it's all about Color when they get complaints on the men they do nothing about it so please look into this problem because it is getting out of hand I need my job I have bills and a family to support

I was wondering can you have parties at the restaurant. I went this morning thinking that maybe their hours have changed. They was really having a party. I went to the door and a manager came to the door and said rudely we are not open. She was a African American light complexion lady. This took place 9/9/2017 around 8:00-8:30 am. I was in town for a Ole Miss game but I will never return. I go to eat on a regular basis but will come here again.
