charged twice for car rental
I had a rental car 10 days in Catalia, from 16-26 June 2018. When I picked up the car I explained that I was going to pay by cash. They still required my credit car and explained that the reservation would be cancelled when I returned the car. At the returnal, I asked explicit if the reservation was cancelled and they confirmed that is was. But they have charges my credit card with the amount I payed cash. I expect the money to be returned to the credit card as soon as possible.

Carflexi made a reservation for me with Green Motion car rental (another name you should avoid) .Once i got to the desk there were un named restrictions on my rental including needed a "raised" credit card.
This made it impossible to go through with my reservation and scramble for something else.

I hired a car through car flexi to pick up at Istanbul airport on Friday night - the flight was late and there was no desk to pick the car up from (despite misleading information on their site). They flippantly told me to call them and that i wouldn't be getting a refund. However despite calling all the numbers that were given to me and more on the internet we have determined this company does not even exist in Turkey - INTERRENT. Rental car.

The company known as car flexi.com hold themselves out on the internet to be a type of broker service who finds the best rates in car hire comparing all the leading hire rates. I used this company to book a car hire in Poznan Airport from 26/5/18 to 2/6/18. Car Flexi came up with Green Motion as the most competitive rates and as their service that cost around £50.00 also covered any excess charges. I accepted their offer and paid via credit card £50.45 on the 2/4/18.
The first problem I encountered was on the day of the car hire return when I received a telephone call from a Daniel of Green Motion at around 2pm inquiring why the vehicle was late in being returned. I was shocked as I had assumed Green Motion were aware of the correct return time of around 8pm that day as Car Flexi had been given the flight details. However upon further inspection of the documents I realised for the first time the return time was stated at 8.30 am on the 2/6/18. I explained to Green Motion that a mistake had been made by Car Flexi however Daniel was quite rude insisting a late payment charge would be levied of 73.5 Euro. I was very unhappy at this and withdrew my authority to debit my credit card for such a transaction. I informed Daniel a formal complaint would be made when I returned to the UK. Daniel sent a text message saying that if I could return the vehicle by 8pm then only 13 Euros would be charged. I reluctantly agreed to this however due to the general rudeness of this person I became suspicious of this hire company and recorded a video of the condition of the vehicle when I returned it.
When I returned to the UK a sum of £1133.35 was debited to my credit card on the 11/6/18 by Green Motion Car Hire. My complaint published by Trust Pilot explains what took place. Due to the fact Car Flexi.com provided excess insurance I attempted to contact them by email and on the UK number [protected] and international number +[protected] all to no avail. The UK number is answered by an automated system that eventually goes dead with the international number failing to make contact stating there is a problem. This has gone on for over 3 weeks so I have been forced to make a reclaim of my fee via my credit card company.

I hired a car in the UK from May 12th to June 10th 2018. I paid a deposit on 27/2.2018.
After a delayed flight and long customs wait at Luton airport, then finding the bus to take us to the car hire place SIXT we arrived only to be told we were a NON show and our deposit was not applicable! We paid $510.97 au. We paid for that car from 10am . We then had to pay the full amount to SIXT $1500. This is totally unacceptable and we are demanding a full refund of our deposit. So far carflexi.com has not responded. The VISA fraud are looking into this. Booking CF8E0B22. Even if someone is late, this should not occur and we paid for at least 7 days care hire with the deposit alone .I want this matter to be addressed. We are on a pension and paid in good faith to you people.

Recurrí a la empresa Carflexi para alquilar un auto en Bari, Italia, el 02/06/18 a las 9.30hs. Aboné por anticipado, con tarjeta de crédito, y obtuve mi voucher y su respectiva confirmación.
El día mencionado concurrí, a Via Zuppeta 5/A, 70121, Bari, lugar que me indicaron para el retiro del vehiculo y la empresa se encontraba cerrada, llamé telefonicamente al +[protected], en reiteradas oportunidades, sin tener respuesta alguna.
Ante lo inesperado de la novedad, tuve que recurrir desde el centro de Bari al aeropuerto para poder alquilar otro auto y dar solución al problema expuesto.
Todo lo descripto, me ocasionó muchos inconvenientes personales y además erogación extra de dinero y tiempo.
Reiteradas fueron las veces que, reclamé a Carflexi la devolución de lo pagado y no he tenido respuesta, es por ello que me animo a publicar esta queja.

Their website is MISLEADING & FRAUDULENT.
We chose the option where ALL insurance was included.
Our credit card was charged.
When we arrived at NICE airport, we were told by the Sixt operator that it WAS NOT included.
Sixt operator at Nice airport informed us that NO insurance was included including theft etc
When I showed him the email that said it WAS included, he said "that's the problem you have when you book online and don't use our official website"
CarFlexi.com have refused our request for a refund stating that "we would like to point out that the rental agreement entered into at the local destination is exclusively between yourself and the car rental provider, to which CarFlexi.com has no interference, as we are a broker company which helps our customers get the best possible offer in the market. "
So their website, where you choose the option for insurance to be included is completely FRAUDULENT.
Avoid this company.

We arrived at Firefly Car Rentals at Murcia Airport on the 8th June to collect our car.
We had the same credit card we made the original payment of £91.56 but as this was not in the drivers name they would not accept this. However they would accept a debit card in another name if we paid a further £150 euros which understandably we were not prepared to pay. The staff were unhelpful and uncooperative and as we did not receive the service we have already paid for we would request a full refund.

I booked online a car by CARFLEXI and made a payment of 92$ (1/3 of the total amount).
However, when I came to SIXT office they refused to account these 92$ which I paid to CARFLEXI and charged me full amount ~276$.

I booked a car hire from Australia in February to be picked up from Luton airport on 12th May till the 10th June. We arrived three hours late only to be told we were a non show and the money we paid to you people was non compliant ( $510.97au). I rented car from CarFlexi, on the airport I got old dirty car with dents and scratches all over the car, I have to quit the car and take something else it cost me extra $800 when called car flexi and was trying to talk with the supervisor woman named Tatiana said she is the supervisor and her advice is not to use her company anymore if I did not like that, then she put me on 40 minutes hold after she picked up the phone back I asked again for the supervisor she said she is the supervisor, owner and God for the company, that is the most rude and ridiculous costumer service I ever had, not recommending it to nobody I will consider take legal actions to get my money back

I wish to complain regarding my recent dealings with car flexi rentals.
I booked online prior to my departure to Paphos Cyprus on 27 May and had still not received my voucher up until my departure. Literally 15 minutes prior to boarding I managed to get through to customer services who then emailed me the voucher. It was too late to check this document fully as our flight was departing.
To my horror and surprise when we landed at Paphos airport very late in the evening (due to delays) our car was not available from the car rental desk. We were told that the booking had a different date of the 29 May and not 27 May. There were no taxis available and we therefore had no choice (I had two small children who were tired) but to accept the only vehicle available, Skoda Octavia, which was a apparently a higher group than the car I had requested. As a result we were charged 340 euros rather than the 100 euros quoted in my initial booking. This being 3 times more! I understand this was in addition to my initial deposit that I had paid to your company at the time of my initial booking.
I was also missold the full tank of Petrol at a cost of 65 euros and was not reimbursed when returning the car with 3/4's of petrol.
I feel extremely dissatisfied with the customer service I have received and the extortionate amount I was charged for this vehicle.
I would be grateful if this matter could be considered as a matter of urgency and I hope that a form of compensation will be provided.

Recently hired a car through Carflexi under the banner headline of what you see is what you pay including out of hours fee. At the desk i was surprised to be charged 14 Euro`s out of hours fee. When i challenged this, i was told that Carflexi have no right to offer the price inclusive of out of hour`s fee and you have been told several times by Sixt. On this basis you owe me 14 Euro`s. My car booking at alicanti airport, Goldcar office on the 20th. May to 30th. may did not exist, they did not have any record of the booking. I arrived at Goldcar desk after 11.00. pm. on the 20th. may. I then had to book a car myself and pay a premium rate, and I was fortunate to have got a car that late at night. I have always booked with Goldcar and I never had this problem. I feel that you failed to provide the service I paid for and so caused me a lot of stress at a crucial time of late night before my journey driving to my destination. No. Do not book with Car Flexi. We booked a Greece car rental through CarFlexi with National, pick up in Paros, and drop-off in Chania (Crete) 3 weeks later. Everything was confirmed, we had the agreement. When we showed up in Paros to pick up the car, we were told the booking isn't possible, we can't take the car to Crete.
The only thing CarFlexi was willing to do, is offered us new rentals at twice the price (at least). Our whole trip, including our flights, was booked around this one-way car rental. They didn't admit any mistake or do anything to help us. We're now in Paros, without any car rental coming up in Crete unless we want to fork over an additional 500EUR.
Do not book with them. If anything goes wrong they have no responsibility to you and won't do anything to make things right.

I booked online a rental car by carflexi with full insurance included, and making a down payment of more than a hundred euros (65%) from the contract agreement, and I was supposed to pay the rest at the counter upon receiving the car at Goldcar in Milano, Italy. At the counter, the company that rents the car (Goldcar) didn't recognize any payments made online, but they just had a reservation on my name. I had to pay the full amount in order to get the car. The car insurance that carflexi sold to me wasn't approved by Goldcar for let me drive their cars, so I had to buy an insurance from them at a higher price. Carflexi got my down payment, and giving me nothing in return.
I demand a full refund of my down payment made online.

This company is scam. I rented a car for 5 days in Syros, Greece and they charged me for a premium service worth Eur 68 that I had not selected. Furthermore, they NEVER included the cost of that premium insurance in the voucher nor they sent a receipt for the payment. I only realized of this expense when I looked at my credit card statement.
Their customer service is the WORST! I called their representative in Greece, the guy was not able to explain what the charge was for. He was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional - he even hung up the phone on me! I have booked hundreds of cars all over the world, and this one has been without any doubt my worst experience.
This is one of those companies that can certainly ruin your holidays. Stay away from them! Go with a trusted and well known company.

I placed a Booking through Carflexi for Malaga confirmed as Rental with Firefly. booking 2nd April. I arrived Malaga Airport on 04.04 2018 to be told by Firefly that my booking is confirmed by Carflexi and Carflexi have not paid Firefly so if I wish to have a car then I must sign a contract with Firefly Malaga.
Consequently I was charged €365.13 in order to obtain car rental.
Advised that I must reclaim the rental paid to Carflexi - this is not a matter for Firefly.
I have contacted my Credit Card issuer to cancel the Payment to Carflexi
