CarFlexi car rental

I booked a car through car flexi and made the booking payment through my debit card when going to collect the car at the rental agent i was advusrsi that payment was not received from carflexi and therefore i need pay the full amount. I was also told that the card i used to make the booking can not be used at the car rental service. As the amount went off my account already i could not pay an afditional amount. I sent carflexi and email they advised me about there cancellation clause however they credited the money back to me even after they sent me a cancellation clause. 2 months down the line and they debited me with an amount that does not appear on the qoute. They never advised me that they will debit me with this amount. Dont understand why they debited me after they paid me back. I want my money back from carflexi as they are scamimg clients.

I booked a car at car flexi in July they Debited my debit card but when wanting to collect the car i was told that my card can not be used. I requested that my money be paid back as the rental agent could also not trace the payment i made. CAR FLEXI CREDITED ME BACK THE MONEY HOWEVER 2 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE THEY DEBITED ME AGAIN THIS TIME MORE THEN THE QOUTED AMOUNT. NOBODY FROM THEIR COMPANY CONTACTED ME TO ADVICE THAT SUCH A DEBIT WILL TAKE PLACE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY TAKING MONEY WITHOUT APPROVAL. I WANT MY FULL AMOUNT BACK AS I NEVER MADE US OF THEIR SERVICE. !

Hello dear sir,
My name is Barry Freedman.
I placed an order to rent a car via your site through Eurocar in Cyprus on for the dates 05/09/18 until 08/09/18.
When I reached the rental booth at the airport my wife and I were very surprised to find out that the order was for a manual car with no AC! At no point of the order was it writen that the rental car will be a manual with no AC.
That ment that in order to rent aREAL car for our holiday we had to add around 50 euros + via this company.
Just for the record in my country when I rent acar it is very clear what kind of car it shall be, and all ways as default comes with AC.
I cancelled my reservation with eurocar and rented a car from another company that infact cost less then what you offered via your site.
Note that instead of having an easy landing at our destination we instead spent 2.5 hours trying to fix up this mess.

At the time of my reservation I payed via paypal 52.07 ILS as a deposit, and I wish to get a refund for the hole amount + acompensation for the unpleasant manor in which we came upon.

This was a very unfair and unexceptable way to start our vacation.

CarFlexi car rental

I've just made a car reservation with your company. My request number is CF 622287. Although you said everywhere that there are no hidden costs & no credit card fees, the moment I filled in the details & paid, the total amount came to 69euros more for credit card fee. What's this? I'm very disappointed & I feel like I want to cancel the reservation.

CarFlexi couldn't recover / use the car I rented.

No of Reservation : CFD05AA8 // e-voucher No: 3872556

Hi,
I booked a car on carflexi.com that I had to rent in Brindisi airport. As soon as I got there, I couldn't actually rent the car. Indeed, the GOLDCAR card reader did not accept my payment. I could not by any other means rent this reserved car. This is all the more so since the Goldcar's employee was not accommodating and rather angry.
In short, I had to leave from there (around 10:30 pm) and find another way to rent a car quickly. I was able to rent another car from another company, where my card worked very well and my payment was successful.
My problem is that I paid CARFLEXI ZUG CH an amount of CHF 137.57 for the reservation of the car at GOLDCAR. Except I never received your consideration, namly the car.
Finally, I therefore ask you to refund the above-mentioned amount.

CarFlexi deposit

I refer to my booking with Carflexi, Ref number CF353EC5, 6 August to the 19th August. I paid R2000.00 deposit that should have been taken from my booking fee. Budget in Belgium said they did not receive any payment from Carflexi. Also in my booking I told them we were driving to prague and wanted super cover. This criterea was stated at the time of the booking and i received my quotation, however I ended up paying 4 times the quotation price. I am not sure if Budget or Carflexi are the crooks, or perhaps they are colluding with one and another . I would like my money back.

CarFlexi carhire

I did not get the car that I paid for and did not receive an equivalent / similar group car. I paid for a Nissan Qashqai and got a renault Capture instead.
The Nissan was available, but the provider, Drive on Holidays, refused to give me this Nissan.
They indicated that they have had a conflict with Carflexi for some time because Carflexi offers cars in too high a group.

Even a phonecall from Drive on Holidays to Carflexi could not help. Carflexi refused to help and Drive on Holidays refused to give the NIssan.
I also asked Carflexi by telephone for a solution, but the employee refused to cooperate with a solution.
The employee indicated that the Renault Capture would be an equivalent / similar group car.

However, this is strongly denied by Drive On Holidays, which indicate that the Nissan is a more expensive car in a higher group.

Also on Carflexi's own website much more is charged for the Nissan than for the Renault.

It also appears from the specifications on Carflexi's own website that the Renault is a smaller vehicle.
According to the website, there is room for 1 large and 1 small suitcase.
In the Nissan there is room for 2 small and 1 large suitcase.

In short, I feel ripped off and have paid too much for a too small vehicle.
I want to file a complaint about this, as well as the bad service I received by phone.

I want a financial compensation for what I have paid too much.

ps: I picked up the car in Lisboa Airport on friday the 17th of August.

CarFlexi car hire

Please do not hire car through CarFlexi,
They are cheat, I booked through them and they took deposit of £50 and the rest I suppose to pay to the car rental, when I went to pick my car from Sixt car rental They told me my booking is cancelled because I was fee hours late, my flight was delayed, Sixt told me I had book through them and I did cause I had a long flight and family and kids was with me I had no choice it was like bullying me in to it,
After few day I called carFexi and told the situation and demanded my £50 deposit back, but they weren't bothered they told it was my fault not phoning them of my flight will be delayed, I will never book from CarFlexi

CarFlexi car rental refused because of credit card

Our booking n° CF8D21AC (car rental)

When we arrived in Milan on the 1st of august, we had the very bad experience that the car rental provider, Maggiore Rent, first did not accept our credit card ( and second did not have the car in the category we had booked anyway, only very small cars).

We had to go to other car rental providers in the airport, and hopefully they ALL OF THEM accepted our credit card, in the end we found one with a car available in the category we wanted.

I don't understand why Maggiore rent could not accept our credit card. since CARFLEXI used it on the 26th of june to charge us the advance payment of 61, 91€. At that time our credit card seemed to be perfectly ok for your services.

For your information, In France we only have one type of credit card, and the one we have is a Gold MasterCard, the most expensive one with the biggest guarantees.

As the man at Maggiore Rent said to us, we have to ask Carflexi now for the refunding of our 61, 91 € that we paid for nothing since we did not rent the car through your services.

I am, at this time, not really happy with Carflexi services, it is not reliable.

I am expecting you now to give us this amount back as soon as you receive this message.

CarFlexi overcharging

Hello I booked 2 cars through your website and paid the full insurance and airport tax.
I have just noticed that goldcar have also charged us for the full insurance and airport tax even though the man on the desk looked at my paperwork from you.
Our e voucher numbers are 3880019 Colin Anderson, and 3880065 Wayne Quinlan.
We picked up the cars from Malaga airport on 18/8/18.
I spoke to goldcars main office and they said that I would need to contact you to resolve the matter,

CarFlexi car rental insurance and service

I rented a car thru car flexi in portugal for 5 days. Their rates were cheap. They added "theft and excess protection insurance" ithout my consent or knowledge or giving me any info on it. It was buried down the bottom of the receipt and listed as refundable by them. I only noticed the 60 euros when it was taken out of my account and tried to contact them. Their onlune support doesnt work, i tried 10 times at least, emails are replied to with generic uselss crap in 3-5 days and when u call them u wait for ages. I ran out of credit 3x waiting 4 them and the 1 time i did get thru after 20 mins they said it couldnt be refunded after pickup and refused to comment on them taking it out of my account in the first place.
And they changed the car rental company when i added a day and didnt tell me so i had to walk across town with bags.
Total dodgy [censored], avoid. Use eurocar, theyre great

CarFlexi customer service and refund of 250 pound deposit

While I was in the UK on holiday, I rented a car from Carflexi as per the booking information above. I was required to pay a 250 pounds sterling deposit at the time of pick up. I returned the car, undamaged, full of fuel as per our rental agreement. I have still not received a refund of my deposit. Please action this as soon as possible, by re crediting my credit card.

I made an attempt to call the New Zealand phone number you have listed on your website this morning. The call was obviously diverted to an international number, where a male answered the call. On answering, he stated "I cannot hear you, please call back" and disconnected the call. I phoned again and when the same man answered, I asked him to please not hang up again and was he able to hear me. He denied hanging up, but when I insisted he had done so and could he please let me know if he could not hear me, he disconnected the call again. I phoned a 3rd time, identified myself as the same caller, this time he put me back on hold without any explanation. This has got to be the worst customer service call I have ever encountered!

We were very happy with our rental, the price was reasonable, the car satisfactory and we really enjoyed our experience driving around the northern part of the UK. Sadly, delays in refunding me my deposit and the very poor customer service skills of your employees, make it difficult for me to recommend your company to friends and family who may wish to have a similar experience and rent a vehicle while in Europe. As we come from a small country (NZ), we pride ourselves on customer service skills and I am frankly horrified at how your call centre worker treated me on the telephone.

I look forward to a speedy response from you regarding both these matters.

CarFlexi car hire

I have paid a deposit for a hire car via CarFlexi.com of £90.64 on behalf of my daughter Yvonne Brimson from Australia. The hire firm is inter rent Luton airport. We went to collect the car as booked Saturday Aug.18. The hire firm took another £90.64 deposit from my daughter. There were further amounts to pay but the payments required could not be made from my daughters bank cards. The hire firm would not accept the payments. I only have a debit card which was also refused. It was necessary to hire from another firm. Where payment were accepted. My daughter is claiming her deposit from them and I wish to claim my deposit made via PayPal. Thank you.

CarFlexi car rental

Very bad service! Avoid these people as they take your money and run with it!
We hired a large car for 7 and paid for it but upon arrival at a busy French Airport were given a smaller 5 seater car and were charged an extra 20% more!
Worst part was that the car was a downgrade and we were forced to take the car and squash in it for 2 hours of journey to arrive at our destination!
Absolute disgusting!
They are crooks and must be reported and avoided!
We sent an email of complaint and have not heard at all!

CarFlexi car hire - rubbish customer service

After a number of great experiences I then had an appalling one with SciliybyCar (avoid them like the plague!)
i reserved a convertible, only to be told at the airport 'they don't do' convertibles - but they kindly upgraded me to a larger car and offered half a tank on return with no charge- great - BUT when I returned it slightly less than half a tank (between a quarter and half full) they charged me 81Euros for the difference
i contacted Carflexi thinking they made a mistake and an extremely unhelpful woman called Sabrina informed me by email that because i left it less than half a tank they can charge me for the whole tank! - and in capitals at the bottom in extra large case she wrote
'Considering this, the charge for 45 liters (sic) is correct'

i wish i could attach the email as its priceless in its lack of customer service - it reminded me of a Little Britain sketch
anyway there is no telephone no. for Customer Service and i was advised that there is an Escalation service! - cant wait to see what they say :)

j'ai effectué le 10 août 2018, une réservation pour la location d'une voiture (CLIO) chez AVIS, aéroport de La Rochelle, du 3 septembre 2018 au 11 septembre 2018.
Ma commande a été validée mais je n'ai pas reçu de message de confirmation et je n'ai pas le numéro de ma réservation.

Comment puis-je être certain que ma commande a bien été prise en compte ?

CarFlexi unexplained charge of my visa

Dear Sirs, on 9/6/2018 we made a reservation with Carflexi for a car rental with THRIFTY in Germany (Frankfurt Flughafen). The e-voucher No was 3746009. On the same day there was also a charge of 20 Euro from Carflexi Zug (Ref [protected]) on my Eurobank Visa and I have not an idea what this is about. Could you give some info on that please?

CarFlexi misleading information.

I made a booking with car flexi on the 04/08/2018 to collect a vehicle on the 05/0/2018. I paid R2400.00 through my debit card the payment went off and funds were reserved on my account. However when i went to rental service i was told that no payment has been made to Budget and that i have to make both the holding fee and the R2400.00. I was also told that my debit card can not be used to make a payment i have to provide a endorsed card. After several phone calls to Budget's customer care service to date the payment is not made and i still cant get the vehicle i have been calling the Cart Flexi south African call center number but failed to get through. After the 10th call i was able to speak to a consultant that advised that i must sent an e-mail to there customer service. But yet no response. I want my full payment back as the R2400.00 should have not went through in the first place. SO THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE .

CarFlexi failure to refund a deposit - kota bharu malaysia

We booked a car through Carflexi Zug, which was a Hawk Hire Company Car from the Kota Bharu Airport Malaysia. The details were:
1.Booking was made I believe, on 9 Jul via website.
2.The charge of 260.05RM or $94.23 AUD was processed against the Qantas Cash Account of Jane Miriam Wallace at 5.23am 09 July 18.
3. We rejected the hire of the Hawk vehicle for the reasons below on querying the insurance cover offered and the meaning of terms used, at would was to be the pick up on 13 July.
4. We have not received a refund of the deposit charged against us.

The information on the website which gave the insurance inclusions as full damage waiver was completely misleading, as there was an excess, from memory, of 1, 500RM. Like most people driving in a foreign country we were not prepared to risk that and tried to reduce it to zero, but there was no facility in Hawk rental agreements to do that, even though we were prepared to pay. We subsequently found Hertz offered this ability to zero the excess and therefore rented with them.

Action Requested: We request that the amount above debited from my Qantas Cash Account be reimbursed please

CarFlexi payment more expensive than expected

Dear CarFlexi,

When I rented a car on 26 June 2018, I was asked to pay 111.88 EUR before the reservation, then I would pay the rest at Marrakech agency: 3526.91 MAD = 326 EUR.

When I arrived at Marrakech, the person told me that I had to pay the whole price, like they didn't receive the first payment (111.88 EUR), I told him that I made a pre-payment via the website but he told me not.

I trusted him and payed in total 5638.93MAD (524.20EUR), with insurance.

But when I came back in Belgium, I saw that Visa took 524.20€ + 111.88€ from my account so now I have payed more than I had to pay
