I booked a car on behalf of my husband, arriving back from overseas with my credit card on 26 November 2023 at 11:00 till 29 November from Johannesburg International Airport through carflexi.com
I used CArflexi because they claim to be honest, and have an easy cancellation policy. They are terribly misleading.
When my Husband arrived at the Car rental, Alamo, he was told he was not able to take the vehicle as he was not in possession of the credit card. The vehicle was never hired, from ALAMO.
When I phoned Alamo, they said CarFlexi was holding the money and nothing had been paid through to them to credit me back.
The following amounts were debited off my card:
25 Nov R-685.84
29 Nov R -13.72
I have not had ANY refund as yet and the service was not used as Alamo refused to let him hire the vehicle.
Carflexi advertise free cancellation. They have no refund policy.
They advertise 24/7 support. There is only a response from AI .
When Carflexi was contacted, they refused to refund the money I am owed.
