unauthorised charge on my revolut card
Hi There,
So I am hoping this should be an easy issue to resolve, however, I didn't know how to email the Shopping outlet directly as my French isn't strong enough.
Yesterday I was in Carrefour, in Calais, France - at the "Ceour de Vie" Market. I had29.70 Euros worth of shopping, and went to the self service checkouts. My card was declined twice (which was strange as I had just put 30 euros on there.) I check my bank account on my phone, and it said that the 29.70 euros gone through, and was charged - but the till still said the payment was rejected. I asked the Shop attendant, who said it wasn't their issue and I would have to speak to my card (Revolut). I then went to another till and had to pay with my alternative card, HSBC.
You can witness all of this on the CCTV, at approximately 15.30 - I am thr girl with the blue hair, so should be easy to spot me.
However, I was charged on my Revolut card! I have the screengrab from my phone, showing that I was charged 29.70 euros, even though the machine didn't acknowledge this. I have spoken to Revolut customer service, and they said I need a cancellation code from you, the merchant, to process the refund. I have proof of receipt that I paid the amount on my other card, aswell, to support my claim.
Please find attached a copy of my receipt from Revolut (first card that was declined) and images showing me having to pay using my HSBC card.
So essentially I have paid for the shopping twice. I would like a refund of the first payment (which is the screen grab from my revolut - circled in Green.) This should show up on your systems at the self service till.
delay and unprofessional of the product delivery

I bought a refrigerator from Carrefour in Egypt, Maadi branch by about 18000 EP
And they said to me the delivery will be within 7 to 10 working day
According to that I bought it as I have to travel after that for long time
At the 10th day after I bought I went for them and they said that the Supplier did not submit it yet for them . I said it is not my problem I bought for. Carrefour not from supplier. And I informed them I want to take my money back
Second day they call me and informed me the Supplier delivered it for them and they will delivered me second day, I called them second day to confirm with them but again they excuse as the driver of the car which will bring it to me did not take the refrigerator . And they informed me if I want it soon because if my travelling I can bring an external truck by and paid by my own money to take it, and that what happened to finalize this welly situation
I want from head office to take an action about this unprofessional way to deal with customer which will be reflect in the customer trust with Carrefour

We were there at Getty for we bought what we needed at last one we were going to the counter we didn't know which counter was the counter so we went to the counter which was written 10 items only there we waited for half an hour until the line finished when we made it to the counter the female staff member Filipino member she apparently shouted at us add add A&E she said us to get out of here and go to another counter then we left that counter we went to another counter there was an angry customer and the angry stuff representative which shoulder that is for going there because that was only a 10 items counter and then I'm done Filipino up counter woman was so angry she shouted at us and then she kicked us out of the counter and then one other customer shouted at us we didn't like the sun was a tall we do not recommend anyone to go order and I wish anyone could've been a person who shouted at dust gets kicked out of her job
delivery of sofa
I ordered a sofa for delivery from your website with the order number [protected].
Having organised a delivery time (10:00 - 07/09/2018) with the company you subcontract your delivery service to, GEFCO (Delivery Ref#: [protected]), I later ran into problems with delivery. On delivery I was told that the sofa would be dropped in the lobby of the building (despite access to a functioning lift to the second floor apartment). I find this unacceptable, particularly as the only delivery times available are during work hours. On asking to explore other options, I was told by delivery driver that it "wasn't his problem". This has left me with no option but to leave the sofa unattended in the lobby of the building for 7 hours in the hope that it will not be stolen.
At no point during the process of ordering was I told that delivery to the flat could not be made. In fact, your delivery form specifically asks for a floor and apartment number. Is this the service Carrefour intends to offer its customers?
Needless to say I have been left very disappointed with my first online order from Carrefour.

I recently attended Carrefour in Benidorm. I was at the cheese section and informed the lady that I did not want cling film wrapped round my plastic packaging. She was very shocked at how I could suggest I did not want clingfilm. Also the cheese/meat section should encourage customers to use their own containers.
For the fruit and vegetable section, there is a plastic bag only choice to collect fruit and veg. Why? Why can't people use their own bags? Being so close to the coast, Carrefour needs to take responsibility for the plastic waste they produce.

After 4 hours of shopping in carefour dubai festival city, we collected our all food items with invoice of more than 1000 AED . We've been to the delivery section to schedule the delivery and as per confirmation delivery will arrives between 10PM - 12:00AM
left the the branch and kept waiting for delivery team till 03:00 am no one reached and no one called and there's no way to communicate the branch or even a customer service department as all sections is closed already. There's no food at home and counted on this deliver because we do have to cater the family members we stay home with no even bread or milk because of carefour services .. bare in mind that we've paid cash and up front to secure the delivery and ensure it .. now we've left with no option .. I'm going to raise this complaint to the top level here inside uae whos looking after consumer rights of carfoure will not resolve this issue and compensate for this experience I shall share my experiences on social media with all shoppers to show them how carrefour treats their loyal customers specially in Dubai one of the important city in the world

I had to wait two hours after my rental started to get the car. I didn't mind too much, the guy was overworked and doing his best.
When I returned the car, I was for my own reasons slightly late. The same guy was furious - my rental was to finish at 7, and the next hirer was to recieve the car at 7! Now, even if I had returned the car at 18.59 (as I was entitled to) the next hirer would definitely not get his car on time still: purely because of Carrefour's naive greedy planning. It made sense why I had had to wait before! N.B. Carrefour: By not allowing any gap between bookings, your are willfully renting out cars which you know are not available.
I had to pay 100 euro extra for the lateness (fair enough I suppose, but you should give me back for yours). However although my rental had been for two days, I actually had the car less than 48 days because of your lateness) and I ended up paying for almost 4 days.
Finally, now two weeks later, I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY 1000 EURO DEPOSIT TO BE RETURNED.

I am a tourist and I was buying some products in your store and your employee told me :[censored] you! In feont of everyone. I called his supervisor name : Daniela, she apologised and said he is new and she will talk to him.
I am travelling around the world and I have never had anyone talk to me like this before in my entire life.
I will take this issue further on to the newspapers because this is not acceptable in the centre of Civilised city to be embarrassed by your employee who cursed at me and continued working like nothing happend without even apologising to me.
I will also teport this to authoritys and inspection.

I bought the item from Sharjah city Centre on 27th July 2018. However yesterday when my child opened to use it. It was observed that it is disconnected from middle. I took it to customer care. The lady staff was not ready to look in to it stating that the purchase date is more than a week. Later when I convinced her. She was about to call concern staff. But one person who later introduced as manager (he was not wearing an ID) stopped her from doing so. His behavior was unprofessional . he was not wearing the ID, So I repeatedly asked his name and he told Abdul hameed. I left the item on the table and returned. My child didn't use it at all.

duty manager attitude and taking away my trolley after leaving it for 20 seconds only
Good day Carrefour customer service,
Hope you are doing greative always been a loyal customer to carrefour worldwide in several countries and different continents. I went yesterday to Carrefour at Cairo festival city mall in Egypt. Started my shopping and filled my trolley with different stuff. Last thing was going to the cheese fridge where I left the trolley for less than 20 seconds beside the cheese fridge, and went to collect a number to stand in the queue. My number was 14 and the monitor had the number 98. I went back after almost 15 seconds to get my trolley and continue shopping and to come in a while back to the cheese fridge. But unfotunately I didn't find my trolley with all the stuff that I've been putting for hours.
I quickly approached the nearest merchandiser asking him about the trolley. He mentioned he had no idea. I told him pls take me quickly to your manager. He reffed me to a gentleman who introduced himself as Abdlerahman Ali carrefour manager (who said later that he's the duty manager and the cold section manager) and when I asked to talk to his boss, he said am the only boss here.
When I asked about the trolley, he acted defensively that it's not their fault and that I shouldn't leave t( trolley for. Single second. Otherwise, it'll be taken as these are the instructions of carrefour. And it's normal for me in all carrefour branches around the world that I can leave the trolley for a few seconds or even minutes to go get something from a different aisle especially when it's crowded.
I asked him to check the cameras to know where the trolly has gone since it just happened only a few minutes before our talk. He told me there are no cameras covering that area.
He instead went to ask other customers nearby if this was their trolley and the people stared At him in a weird way, he was acting as if they stole it, and it was awkward tht 8 had to apologize to those other customers. (Later when other managers came he denied that)
He refused to handle the situation in a professional way and instead kept blaming me and my wife in a loud voice and a very rude way and holdin us responsible for leaving the trolley for 20 seconds and refused to look for it.
He told me your number should be 14 and it's now 98 and that I was too late. He wasn't smart enough to figure out that 14 will come after 16 customers.
Another gentleman who was the head of security department Approached us when he saw the problem and offered to help.
He tried monitoring the cameras and finally we found out that the trolley was taken by someone from carrefour to place the items as returns. I found some of my items there, which I took. But lost most others.
I'd like to thank the security head for acting professionally. And to complain against the duty manager Abdlerahman Ali who's affecting the whole image of carrefour and making them lose customers because of his attitude.
He refused to apologize for any inconvenience, and shouted at us using his hands, and lied to the other manager about asking customers if these were their trolleys.
Moreover, I found my stuff together with other stuff in two trolleys submerged under piles of other stuff. I see the whole picture as so unprofessional in handling the items which will be returned to the shelf. They were putting shampoo over foodstuff over frozen food, everything was so staked.
I need to know if these were really carrefours instructions worldwide to take trolleys after 20 seconds of being non attended.
Is this the way carrefour employees are trained to handle situations professionally with customers.
Looking forward to your reply after you investigate the incident. I trust in carrefours integrity and i always wish to remain a loyal customer to the brand I've always admired.

To Whom It May Concern,
I baught two women swim suits yesterday, one is one piece and the other is two pieces, at the cashier, i asked the lady if they're refundable amd exchangeable she insisted "ofcourse "!
To double check i visited the customer service office before paying my bill and repeatedly asked him if i can exchange or get a refund and he confirmed that i have one whole week to do so.
I visited Carrefour this morning and was surprised when the costumer service employee informed me that im not allowed to either exchange or get a refund, i was very upset and asked for the manager support and was even more disappointed from her unprofessional response and behavior, refusing to provide any support by claiming that it's a policy that I take responsibility for as it's "Logic" and common sence that such items are not allowed to be exchanged or refunded! And that the employee will have his punishment for giving me a false note.
I could not have been more disappointed 😔

yesterday 30th July I visited the Carrefour at Calais in France and purchased 145.83 Euros worth of food shopping. We immediately boarded the Eurotunnel where upon checking the receipt I found that we have been overcharged for a few items. the 6 Hardys Stamp Rose wine was NOT advertised on the shelf at 6, 95 it was around 4 I believe, and also the 1kg All in one sweets were NOT advertised on the shelf at 8, 90, we bought 2 of these which the shelf stated they were around 4 euros. As we have now returned to the UK we cannot of course go back to the store, please can you help me resolve this online?

Its really disappointing that this supermarket has your name in it. I have never seen worse service in the world, day after day, week after week, no matter what time you go, 5am, 7am, 9.30am or 6.00pm or 10.00pm, the service in the cashier service is always shameful. You are always on line for 15 minutes and sometimes almost half an hour. Its ridiculous. I don't know how many times I left the stuff by the cashier tired of waiting for ever, and there is nobody around to complain either.
Can you install a box for complaints? I imagine this is not the only one with appalling service.

This outlet is a big joke, no prices are updated, always a big surprise when you check your receipt. When the question is put out to the staff, they all seems completely lost.
I trust that this is a management issue, and I.understand that the management in this particular shop want higher revenue .
I doubt that cheating on customers create a healthy relation .
I will avoid by any cost to buy anything from carrefour again.

I am currently a tourist in Krakow. Being originally a loyal happy carrefour customer at my home town Cairo-Egypt I preferred to shop from you during my vacation away from home too. I had an inquiry so I went to the customer service office on 24/07/2018 between 7:00 pm and 7:15 pm please refer to the surveillance cameras urgently as what happened unfortunately included clear human rights violations, discrimination and abuse. To the extent that I asked one of the polish citizens to help me as the lady claimed that she doesn't speak English and she started to insult me in polish and was extremely aggressive that I feared to talk to her and was thinking I should revert to my embassy for help. It was extremely inhuman and unexplained as I didn't do anything to offend her !
Furthermore I moved to another counter and asked for the branch manager, she came in a few minutes but she also pretended that she doesn't speak English too and she advised me to make a complaint online. I believe violating human rights and discrimination aren't within Carrefour international policy although I think it is clearly part of Carrefour POLAND policy taking no action towards abusive staff and continuously encouraging such discriminative behaviors, the lady didn't worry for a second about me complaining online. That is very strange specially that it is all recorded on the mall cameras. In case I don't receive a reply within 5 working days I will take necessary action from my side against your esteemed institution. I am deeply sorry to say that, but I am currently in emotional trauma and I will not risk my personal wellbeing and safety.

Just went for my first time to Carrefour in Madrid and was in shock with the amount of plastic its been used to sell their products.
After seen all the advertising its used about how ecological you guys are and how you guys want to respect the environment. To me and to other people there its all a show.
