I took a loan of R5500 from cash crusaders in centurion against my PlayStation 5, their method of payment is in store or via Ozow payment. On the 15/10/2023 I received a link to make payment to extend my loan as I kept trying to pay via the Ozow site I kept on getting error messages and whiles the final payment date was the 17/10/2023 with extension of 2 days being the 19/10/2023 eventually after trying everyday on the 19/10/2023 I tried again and this time it went off successfully. Again on the 14/11/2023 I received an sms with link to extend my loan which was expiring on 17/11/2023 then get extra 2 days I tried to make payment from the Ozow and kept getting the error code till on the 19/11/2023 at 10:25am I sent them an email asking for assistance with other options of making payment other than in store or via the Ozow as I’m sick and not able to go to the store and the Ozow is not working… they did not respond to my email. On the next day I asked a friend to try pay from their acc it did not work I called them to find out if they did receive payment and explained that I sent email on the 19/11/2023 they claimed to not have seen the email and told me they have put my item on the floor to be sold for R9000 that I should come buy it back. They claimed that when the link is sent it expires same day I explained that in October I received a link on the 15/11/2023 experienced same problem that it eventually allowed me to pay on the 19/10/2023 and I have proof of the sms and payment I made. I was the told to come to the store on the 21/11/2023 which I had still not recovered I sent an email explaining my situation they claimed to have not received my email on the 19/11/2023 and that I should sent it to them and tried to pull the card of the link expired i showed them proof then only today 22/11/2023 they tell me I should have gone through their website to make payment and I told them that is why I sent an email on the 19/11/2023 seeking assistance and to find out other means to make payment. I took a screenshot as proof of the Emil I sent as they try that and also of the errors message from their Ozow app not working… they told me that it is on the floor and I should come put down a deposit to lay-by and buy it back for R8000 I had already paid R1200 for the loan extension. This is not fare as they ignored my email and to assist in giving urgent assistance.
Claimed loss: Sony Play station 5
Desired outcome: Be able to extend my loan till I pay payback the full loan amount and get my item back. If they have sold the item they need to source it and I pay back the full loan back and retrieve my item
